Chongling Mausoleum is the joint burial mausoleum of Emperor Aixinjueluo Zaiyun and Empress Xiaodingjing (Queen Dowager Longyu). It was the last mausoleum among Chinese emperors. It was built in the first year of Xuantong (1909) and completed in the fourth year of the Republic of China (1915). It was stolen by an unidentified group of armed men in 1938. The number and scale of Chongling's buildings are completely in accordance with the Huiling Tomb of Emperor Tongzhi. The construction is ingenious, and there are rare podocarpus and silver pine in the ceremonial tree of the cemetery.
The first time I had a good time in Hebei, I went to the Qingxi Mausoleum in Yixian County. The only underground palace in the Qingxi Mausoleum is Chongling, which is also the tomb of the last emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. Because it was stolen, the underground palace was opened. It feels much more atmospheric than Ming Xiaoling.
1. Chongling Mausoleum is the mausoleum of Emperor Aixinjue Luo Zaishan of Guangxu. It is located in Jinlongyu, about 4 kilometers northeast of Tai Tomb of Qing Dynasty. It was the last mausoleum among Chinese emperors. It was built in the first year of Xuantong (1909) and completed in the fourth year of the Republic of China (1915). It was stolen by an unknown group in 1938. 2. The number and scale of Chongling's buildings are completely in accordance with the Huiling Tomb of Emperor Tongzhi. The construction is ingenious, and there are rare podocarpus and silver pine in the cemetery tree. Emperor Guangxu and Empress Longyu are buried together in the underground palace, and Concubine Jin and Concubine Zhen are buried in the Chongling Concubine Garden to the east. 3. Although the number and scale of Chongling's buildings are not as large as the Yongzheng and Jiaqing tombs, there are no large stele pavilions, stone statues, etc., but it inherits the Qing Dynasty tomb construction regulations, and refers to the Xianfeng Emperor Ding Tomb and Tongzhi Emperor Hui In addition to the style of the mausoleum, it has absorbed some of the essence of ancient architectural technology and still has its characteristics. According to the needs of guards and sacrifices, the entire mausoleum has built five-hole bridge, patrol house, archway gate, god kitchen library, three-way three-hole bridge, court house, class room, Longen gate, burning stove, matching hall, Longen hall, and three Zuomen, Five Stone Offerings, Fangcheng, Minglou, Baoding, Underground Palace. The wood materials of the Longsi Hall are extremely precious copper algae and iron algae, and the texture is extremely hard. The weight of an ordinary Taishi chair made of this kind of wood is as high as more than 100 kilograms. Therefore, the Longen Hall is known as the "bronze beam and iron pillar". Spacer materials are added between the shelves, which can support the roof and make the hall more beautiful. The four bright pillars in the Longsi Hall have a pattern of sea water and rivers at the bottom, and the pillar body is a golden dragon winding upwards, which is more magnificent than other imperial mausoleums. The interior of the hall is beautifully painted, and the dragon and phoenix stones in front of the hall are exquisitely carved and have a three-dimensional effect. Because Chongling was built only a short time ago, the preservation is relatively complete. 4. Chongling Underground Palace is the only open imperial underground palace in the Western Tombs of the Qing Dynasty. The underground palace is an arch-style stone structure building. The entire underground palace has 1 tunnel, 4 stone gates, 9 coupons (tunnel tickets, flash coupons, cover tickets, Mingtang tickets, pass tickets, gold tickets, and 3 entrance tickets. ), 1 Jinjing, 2 Longxugou, 14 leaking holes, the tomb road is 63.19 meters long, with an area of 349.95 square meters, and a space of 2170.61 cubic meters. The gold coupon inside the underground palace is the largest among the nine coupons. It is the main building of the underground palace. It is tall and spacious. The top of the coupon and the sea wall are all blue and white stone structures. Each stone door is equipped with a copper pipe fan weighing more than ten tons, which can not only support the huge stone on the door, but also enable the huge and heavy stone door with a height of 3.52 meters to open and close freely. There is also a whole piece of blue and white stone carving on the stone door. The built stone gate tower, on the eight stone gates, there are vividly-shaped standing bodhisattvas in relief each. The standing bodhisattvas are 1.99 meters high, with a solemn and mighty appearance. 5. Chongling is the mausoleum of Emperor Guangxu. Because of internal and external troubles in the late Qing Dynasty, the mausoleum is not very grand. In addition, it was damaged because it was stolen before the founding of the country. It is now the only open tomb of the underground palace in the Western Tombs of the Qing Dynasty. We are catching up with the Tourism Festival today. All coupons are half-price, and the elderly and children are free. But pay attention to the special ticket of each mausoleum to be exchanged separately, otherwise it will go wrong.
In the western mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty, Chongling and Yongfu Temple are east of Guangxu's tomb. There are more than a thousand palace buildings and more than a hundred ancient buildings and ancient sculptures in the mausoleum. The scenic area is very large. If you completely rely on walking, you need a certain amount of footwork. Chongling is not as large as Tai Tomb or Yongzheng tomb in terms of construction scale. , But it still absorbs the essence of ancient architectural technology and is very distinctive.
