Follow CCTV to tour Yibin, and check in at the first ancient town on the Yangtze River—Lizhuang Ancient Town
Here, one scenic area has two states: on one side is the market life area where you can genuinely experience the life of the ancient town's residents
Stroll through the hidden site of the former Tongji University Medical College within the living area, where many great scholars once lived on this land. On the other side is the ancient town scenery filled with the charm of southern water towns, tranquil, with hardly any commercial atmosphere. Here, there are no noisy shops
You can boat and admire the lotus, and at night, the lights are bright
It's as if you've traveled back to ancient times, donning a piece of blue clothing
You can also transform into a gentle and elegant southern beauty, a small family jade. This place is very close to the city center, so you can escape the noisy city after work on Friday, and under the night sky, enjoy the moon, drink tea, and enjoy a quiet weekend
ANGELINA RAMSEY
This is not the water town of Jiangnan, this is Yibin in Sichuan, the first city on the Yangtze River
It is reputed as the 'Liquor City'.
Yibin has an ancient town called 'Lizhuang', everyone has heard of a dish called 'Lizhuang White Meat', but I didn't expect my first impression of 'Lizhuang' to be that it resembles 'Wuzhen', 'like Zhouzhuang'...
It's not that Wuzhen is unaffordable, but Lizhuang offers better value for money!
Short distance: It takes only 3 hours to drive from Chongqing to Lizhuang Free admission: Lizhuang tourist resort is free of charge
Parking lot: Moon Field Indoor Parking Lot, charges 10 yuan/time during holidays, no time limit Regarding food
Lizhuang's three whites: white liquor, white meat, and white cake, you must try them, white liquor and white cake can be taken back as gifts Regarding play
Lizhuang Spring Wine Banquet/Moon Field Boat Tour/River Lantern Wishing/Welcoming the God of Wealth/Phoenix Seeking Phoenix/Green Picking Activities/Intangible Cultural Heritage Activities and other Spring Festival activities, you can check the specific timetable on the official. Friendly reminder:
1. Self-driving into the scenic area will be controlled, after turning around you can directly drive into the parking lot, there are many parking spaces, but the entry and exit are slow.
② There is a larger flow of people in the scenic area at night, pay attention to safety when on the bridge, and do not linger.
3. The use of drones is not allowed in the scenic area
Off-peak field dining There are many restaurants, but you have to line up early for breakfast

Let's head south to the river and reminisce about Jiangnan—Li Zhuang's Moon Field can be visited there and back in a day
Reminiscing about Jiangnan, the boats are still the same, the bridges are still the same.
In the south of Sichuan, you only need one day to experience the charm of Yangzhou in the misty and flowery March.
Li Zhuang Tourist Resort
It takes just over an hour to get to Li Zhuang from the south of Sichuan.
Today's Li Zhuang has built a new area, Moon Field, with carved beams and painted rafters, small bridges over flowing water, clusters of flowers, and willows swaying gently, creating a scene where people wander in a painting and the painting flows in the water.
There are many young ladies dressed in various Hanfu taking photos and checking in among the flowers and by the water, as well as young men cycling and running. It gives people a peaceful pastoral life rather than the feeling of being in a tourist spot.
There are many tea houses, dining bars, snack shops in the alleys, and also special shops like post offices🏤 and instant noodle shops that are very attractive.
After 6:30 pm, the lights in the resort area are all lit up, and the night cruise boats start to operate, making it seem as if the Qinhuai scenery has reappeared.
Tips:The night cruise boat ticket is 60 yuan per person, full price for anyone over 1.5 meters tall. Personally, I think the boat ticket is 10 yuan more expensive at night, but it's worth it for the different experience from the daytime.
If you are keen to visit several old sites and don't mind the daytime cruise, I highly recommend the Ctrip joint ticket, which includes six major old sites➕daytime cruise for only 50 yuan, which means the boat ticket is only 30 yuan.
Note: The cruise time is about 20 minutes
You can make a round trip to the south of Sichuan in a day; we took an 8 o'clock cruise and drove home by 10 o'clock. So I highly recommend it to friends who want a one-day trip around the area or who find it inconvenient to stay overnight outside. Experience a day of Jiangnan tour in the south of Sichuan.

Entering the bamboo forest is like stepping into another world
Today I visited the South Bamboo Sea again.
Setting off in the rain and arriving on a cloudy day is a stroke of good luck ☁️
I chose to hike up the mountain instead of taking the cable car 🚠. I took the road to the first peak on the east side, from Shouxing Square to Little Bird Paradise to the 1km stone stairs up the mountain. The path before the stairs was easy to walk, but climbing the stairs was particularly tiring. I had to stop and go, and it took about an hour to finally reach the summit!
Next time I'll just take the cable car directly~ It only takes a few minutes to get to Shouxing Square, and the experience is still enjoyable!
A few small tips:
The air in the mountains after the rain is especially fresh, but there are also an extraordinary number of mosquitoes! I suggest wearing long sleeves and pants, otherwise the bites are really swollen for three days and both painful and itchy!!
There's no need to buy the meal-inclusive ticket at the entrance, just the admission ticket is fine! There's a discount if you book a day in advance!
After coming out, you can also try the Manxiang private kitchen at the entrance! I chose blindly 🙈
The set meal they offer is quite large, and I ordered some dishes separately, the taste is really good~ The landlady also thoughtfully sterilizes the bowls and chopsticks, overall it was a very happy experience.

Traveling with Autumn | The Bamboo Sea in Southern Sichuan, Yibin, Western Sichuan
The Bamboo Sea in Southern Sichuan, Yibin, Western Sichuan. After a night's sleep under the starry sky and amidst the bamboo forest, enjoy a hearty breakfast to kick off the second day of your journey.
There are many attractions in the northern part of the Bamboo Sea in Southern Sichuan, and we recommend five major attractions worth visiting.
The first is: Sea within the Sea
The Sea within the Sea is actually a lake of about 60 acres within the Bamboo Sea in Southern Sichuan. Because some ethnic minority areas are accustomed to calling large lakes 'hai zi' (sea), hence the name Sea within the Sea.
Friends who dream of martial arts can put on a harness and experience the thrill of transforming into Li Mubai or Yu Jiaolong, moving swiftly over the tips of the bamboo, soaring through the sky and diving into the earth.
The second recommended attraction for the northern route is a paradise for children—Huaxi Thirteen Bridges
There are countless streams flowing down the valleys in the Bamboo Sea in Southern Sichuan, and here the streams are full of fallen flowers, with each bridge presenting a unique view, hence the name Huaxi Thirteen Bridges.
Of course, there are more than just thirteen bridges here, there are also beautiful landscapes along the way and photo spots, among which the Panda Park is a fun place for family trips.
The 30-meter elephant slide is a challenge for oneself, and a series of amusement facilities such as swings and seesaws also sketch out a colorful playground for the children.
Continuing along the Huaxi Thirteen Bridges towards the east and the North Gate, you will come to our third recommended attraction—Colorful Flying Waterfall.
'Waterfalls fly across the southern and northern hills, almost like those of Lushan'
The springs that emerge regardless of place fill the deep and secluded bamboo sea with spiritual energy; where the mountain rocks are rugged, there are often hanging springs and flying waterfalls. Among the dozens of waterfalls with different postures in the mountains, the most spectacular is the Colorful Flying Waterfall.
In front of such a magnificent scene, descriptive words seem somewhat pale. Although the photos were not taken during the high water season, one can still catch a glimpse of the grandeur, imagining the splendor of the Milky Way falling from the sky.
On the way back to the hotel from the Colorful Flying Waterfall, you come to the highest point of the entire scenic area—Longyin Temple.
From a distance, the temple gate is above a staircase of 320 steps, majestic and imposing.
The Ancient Buddha Hall, Layman's Forest, and Vegetarian Restaurant are scattered on the north side atop the cliff, and the stele pavilion stands tall on the peak of Jiulong (Nine Dragons) Mountain. Pavilions, halls, temples, and towers are connected by corridors, forming a harmonious whole. Looking from the north, it resembles nine dragons soaring into the sky.
The architectural complex of Shangke Hall is cleverly nestled in the greenery of the ecological parking lot, complementing the majestic Nine Dragons landmark, the uphill avenue, and the stacked archway groups from below, shining together like nine dragons playing in the sea.
Finally, take another trip to the Bamboo Sea Museum of Southern Sichuan to read through the history and culture of this place.

Embark on a spontaneous day trip to Yibin, a beautiful city that awaits your exploration!
We set off from Muchuan and arrived in Yibin in just one hour. In Lizhuang Ancient Town, we experienced a charm unlike other commercialized ancient towns. It has schools, playgrounds, and a strong sense of life. During the New Year period, it's crowded, but there's a free shuttle bus if you park a bit further away. The night view is stunning, and there are boat tours available. Wuliangye Liquor Factory is a must-visit, with its vast complex perfect for a leisurely stroll. The giant liquor bottle is located at Wuliangye Pengcheng Square, easily accessible by car navigation. Daguan Tower is situated in the middle of the city roundabout, and although it's not accessible for visitors, the photo effect from the street is still impressive. Zhongshan Street Bell Tower is located on a small square, making it an excellent rest stop for passersby. As for the food, we tried several places; Lizhuang white meat and tofu pudding were tasty, and there's no need to queue up for long. The barbecue was enjoyed in the Phoenix Courtyard area of Xingsheng Street in Cuiping District, and it was delicious!
Here's the end of the Yibin day trip guide. If you're planning to travel to Yibin, feel free to refer to this guide! You're welcome to share your travel stories in the comments section!

·
✨【Lizhuang Ancient Town】
🎫Free
✅An original town built along the Yangtze River, known as 'the first ancient town along the Yangtze River'
✅It is recommended to avoid the main roads with high pedestrian traffic and slowly walk through the small alleys on the ancient bluestone paths, the experience is very good.
✅Walking along the river towards Moon Field, you can also check in at the old site of Tongji University 🏫

✅Next to the ancient town is the newly developed Moon Field scenic area, which blends the misty rain of the south of the Yangtze River with the ancient charm of Xi'an, very suitable for wearing traditional Chinese clothing, cheongsam, and modern Chinese style, great for photography 📸
✅The buildings are well-arranged, and the surface of the water where the black-awning boats slowly pass by ripples layer by layer, and at night the whole scenic area is full of artistic conception under the light, the water town of the south of the Yangtze River does not deceive me 🤩

✅Lizhuang White Meat
Coming to Lizhuang and not eating white meat = coming for nothing!
Besides the highly popular online Liufen Restaurant, Yingqiu Restaurant, and He Yidao, this time I ate Zhang's Lizhuang White Meat recommended by locals, no disappointment! 🥰
The white meat is cut really thin, the dipping sauce is fragrant, it melts in your mouth, and no matter how much you eat, it's not greasy!
.
✅White Cake
Another specialty of Lizhuang, the texture is like sticky rice cake, almost everyone here has one (💰2r/piece)
For those who are afraid of disappointment, many shops on the street will eagerly let you taste, try a few more before buying 😎
.
✅Baijiu
In Lizhuang, you will find that the air is filled with the aroma of liquor~🍶
There is a liquor-making base right in the ancient town, where you can watch the process of making baijiu, and if you like drinking or have family members who do, you can take a couple of bottles (my dad bought a bottle and said it was very fragrant 😂)
.
✅Shuanghe Lianggao

Yibin, you are confused if you don't promote these places
Yibin, the charm of this 😜 unpopular city is seriously underestimated! As the first city of the Yangtze River, it carries a 📜 2200-year history of city building, a 🧐 3000-year history of tea planting, and a 😲 4000-year history of wine brewing. 🎉 The rich and colorful wine culture, tea culture, and bamboo culture together shape the unique personality and charm of this cultural city.

Xingwen Sea of Rocks Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Xingwen Stone Sea, a severely underrated national geological park!
🌟 Xingwen Stone Sea, a niche 4A tourist attraction in Yibin, where nature's craftsmanship is vividly displayed 🤗
A superb place to admire karst landscapes❗
Apart from being a bit far, there's nothing to nitpick about❗
A national geological park so quiet you can have it all to yourself❗
Last year, it was even the performance site for the CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Gala❗
An extremely underrated scenic spot❗
🚗 Transportation:
▶️ Self-driving: 3 and a half hours from Chengdu to Xingwen County, and over 40 minutes from Xingwen County to the scenic area. It takes 1.5 hours from Yibin to the scenic area.
▶️ High-speed train: Xingwen County has a high-speed train station, departing from the east station, 2 hours.
🏞️ Attractions: A superb place for landscape features❗ The scenic area is very rich in views, mainly divided into four parts: the surface stone sea, Bo people's hanging coffins, the world's largest funnel, and a group of karst caves. It is recommended to visit in the above order, as the whole journey is quite long, about 3-4 hours, and it's best not to backtrack. Personally, I find the karst caves the most interesting, with a super large space inside, featuring skylights, "terraces", and an underground river, etc. The stalactites combined with lighting design create a mysterious and romantic atmosphere, and two spots are among the top 100 most beautiful viewing points in Sichuan. The slide into the karst cave and the boat ride inside are extra charges.
🌳 Surroundings: In addition to Xingwen Stone Sea, Yibin also has other attractions such as Shunan Bamboo Sea to explore. I personally recommend visiting Lizhuang Ancient Town, a newly developed attraction with good planning and high playability, and the authentic Lizhuang white meat is much tastier than one might expect!
🍽️ Accommodation: It is recommended to rest in Xingwen County, which is a large town with convenient living. The Lijiang Maple Hotel is recommended, 200+, with free parking and plenty of food options downstairs. There are plenty of charging piles in the town.
📍 Xingwen Stone Sea Scenic Area
💰 Ticket price: 80 yuan, children 1.2m (inclusive) and below free.

Xingwen Stone Sea in Yibin
During the New Year's Day holiday, I took my child to the less-known tourist spot, Xingwen Stone Sea in Yibin, and unexpectedly gained a lot.
I learned that besides the 56 ethnic groups, there was once a Tujia ethnic group, saw the Tujia hanging coffins, the largest sinkhole in southern Sichuan, and the strangely shaped stalactites.
I experienced the wonders of nature, temporarily escaped the hustle and bustle of the city, relaxed in nature, and the child also challenged interesting experiences such as high-altitude zip lines and archery.
