Tai Peng Mountain is located in Yingshan County and was once a Buddhist holy place in northern Sichuan. As early as more than 1,000 years ago, during the reign of Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty, the three major halls of the "Tai Peng Temple" were built, and with incense everywhere it was known as "Tai Peng Signs." Taipeng Mountain is divided into the Big Tai Peng and the Small Tai Peng. There are many attractions, which are famous such as the Chaoyang Cave, the Transparent Rock and the Imperial Reading Table. From the east gate along the stone ladder path, the four characters of "Zi Qi Dong Lai" (The Purple Air comes from the east - a propitious omen) are inscribed.
