When we came to the entrance of Hekou Village, Hekou Township, there was a wooden archway standing at the intersection, wrapped in colorful strips of cloth, fluttering in the wind. Walking along the village road, there are brick-concrete dwellings on both sides, and there are also ruins. At the center of the village, a brand-new Bell and Drum Tower made of green bricks and green tiles appeared in front of me. This is Hekou Village - an old town that is accompanied by ancient and modern features. Many years ago, the estuary was an important port of the Yellow River's "golden waterway". Long-distance transportation from all parts of the northwest mostly passed through here, unloading, loading and transporting various goods at the ancient dock of the estuary. The ancient wharf in Hekou Village has long ceased to exist, and modern cement building materials occupy the entire ancient wharf in Hekou Village. In 2013, Hekou Village declared a national historical and cultural village, but unfortunately it fell into the sun, but it has become a historical and cultural village in Gansu Province. At the same time, due to its profound historical and cultural heritage, Hekou Village, together with Jinchengguan, has become an important part of Lanzhou's declaration of a national historical and cultural city. In this way, the desire to rebuild the ancient town of the estuary and protect the history and culture of the estuary will gradually become a reality. At the beginning of 2014, under the attention of governments at all levels, the planning plan for the reconstruction of Hekou Ancient Town was finalized after deliberation by a number of tourism, history and planning experts. According to the plan, the reconstruction of Hekou Ancient Town mainly includes six aspects, namely reconstruction, protection, renovation, preservation, maintenance and restoration, so as to restore the cultural relics and historical sites of Hekou Ancient Town and reflect the cultural characteristics and historical features of the scenic spot.
The ancient town of Hekou is located in Hekou Village, Hekou Town, Xigu District, Lanzhou. It covers an area not very large. It is presented as a long strip along the Yellow River. It feels good to see a lot of spending a small half day to play, but the traffic car from Lanzhou is not directly accessible.
No tickets are required. When traveling in Lanzhou, you can pack a day trip car to visit. The small town should be able to visit all of them in more than an hour. The amusement is not strong, and there are many snacks, mainly the feeling of the small village in the ancient town.
The estuary is located at the intersection of Zhuanglang River and the Yellow River. It is both a strategic and transportation hub. It is a transportation road from Lanzhou to Qinghai, Xinjiang, Tibet and other places, and it is also a heavy town on the ancient Silk Road. In ancient times, the estuary was one of the four major ferry crossings of the Yellow River, forming dozens of ferry crossings of varying sizes. This section of the Yellow River upstream of the "golden waterway", water transport is busy. In the 1870s, Britain, Russia and other countries began to carry out economic activities in China. In February of Guangxu's seventh year (1881), the Qing government signed the Treaty of China-Russia Ili with Russia, and the Russian businessmen obtained trade privileges from Jiayuguan to the estuary area. Russian merchants transfer a large number of goods through the estuary to other regions for sale, and the estuary has become an important regional node in China-Russia trade activities. In Guangxu eight years (1882 AD), the Qing government set up a special inspection, inspection and customs clearance fee "hekou customs" at the estuary, which is the earliest inland "custom" in Lanzhou and even Gansu.
Too far, especially the traffic is inconvenient. I went on October 12th. The traffic to the ancient town of Hekou is either chartered or bus. From Lanzhou to the ancient town of Hekou, the bus only arrives at 201 and 801. These two buses are all passing through the ancient town of Hekou. The key is that there are too few shifts, it takes about an hour, and I take the 201 road. The car is too shabby. The most important thing to complain about is to find 201 and 801 stations. I went to Chen Guanying on Line 1, and then took k102 to the Western Market. According to the navigation, at the Western Market Station, turn 201 to the ancient town of Hekou. When I get off the bus (k102), a group of solicitors poured up. I asked if I went to the ancient town of Hekou. Of course, these people will not step on it, and say no directly, and then find the 201 road stop sign. The station did not find the 201 stop sign, went back 100 meters, found another station, did not find the 201 stop sign, saw a dilapidated bus parked on the roadside, it wrote to the Dachuan township government, immediately asked, is the 201 bus. The western market is the departure station of the 201 road and the terminal. So it is an ideal transportation plan to transfer to the western market. Another plan is to navigate to the new city and transfer, you can take the 201 and 801 cars.
Traffic: Take the Xigu Direction Bus of K102 Road in Lanzhou City (3 minutes apart from departure shop) and get off at the West Market Station. Take the Urban and Rural Bus No. 201 of Dachuan Township Direction (30 minutes apart from departure shop) at this station and cross the road at the Gucheng Parking Station. The tour route is suggested to follow the main street direction. After the tour, you can take a bus back at Hekou Township Government Station (there will be seats for the return journey). Single tour time is about three to five hours, of course, about 35 friends can sit in the farmhouse, but be sure to return by bus before 7:00 p.m., urban and rural 201 Road after 7:30 p.m., there is no car oh, ha-ha! __________ As for the first bus, it's over six in the morning. In addition, the fare from West Market to Hekou Ancient Town of Route 201 is 4 yuan per person. Please prepare the change. Tourist focus: Gansu First Customs, Qishi Corridor, Zhanggong Temple, Lirenfu, Yellow River Tourist Wood Trestle Road, etc., can also climb the Drum Tower or other attic, from different angles to appreciate the historical town along the Yellow River.
