The Yunlong Heavenly Pond is one of the three “Heavenly Ponds” in China. Located on top of Mount Wubao, it is also known as the Shuchang Sea. In the past, it was called the "Tall Sea." The Yunlong Heavenly Pond Nature Reserve is situated at the heart of the valley area of Hengling Mountains. Its geology represents the alpine formation and evolution of the Three-River World Natural Heritage Site. Surrounding the heavenly pond is Mount Wubao, which is home to dense forests and a wide variety of wild animals and plants. Especially, there is a well-preserved ecology of native Yunnan pine forests. The poolside environment is very tranquil, where connecting mountains and beautiful lake views form a charming landscape.
