Mashan Temple was built in Tang Dynasty, Sheng in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and was rebuilt in the early 21st century. It is located in Yutian County, Hebei Province, the hinterland of Beijing-Tianjin-Tang Dynasty and the southernmost part of Yanshan Mountains. It covers an area of more than 100 mu and is known as "the three flavors of the east of the Yangtze River, and the Buddha Field in Yannan".
