During a weekend, I went to the Ang'angxi Middle East Railway complex near Qiqihar. I was attracted by it and I saw photos of the building here on the Internet. It was also because I went to take photos of the Middle East Railway in Harbin and I was very interested in this history. There is this trip. Historical background: In August 1897, the construction of the Middle East Railway started. In 1904, the Middle East Railway with Harbin as the center, Manzhouli in the west, Suifenhe in the east, and Dalian in the south was completed and opened to traffic. In 1903, when the Middle East Railway was opened to traffic, it did not set up a station in Qiqihar, where the Heilongjiang general is located, but will be 29 kilometers away from Qiqihar. The railway station established by Angangxi is named "Qiqihar Station". In 1906, the governor of Heilongjiang Cheng Dequan asked the Qing court to build the Qi'ang Light Railway. After obtaining permission, in March 33 of Guangxu (April 1907), Heilongjiang Qi'ang Railway Company was established on August 12 (1907). (September 19), the Chiang Railway Company signed a contract with the German firm Tailai International to repair roads and purchase vehicles and rails. The road construction project started in December of the 33rd year of Guangxu (January 1908), and the inspection and acceptance began on the seventh day of August of the first year of Xuantong (September 20, 1909), and on August 13 of the same year (September 26) ) The inauguration ceremony was held and it was officially opened to traffic today. Because the Russian-controlled Middle East Railway Company refused the Qi'ang Light Railway to enter the land boundary of the Middle East Railway, many negotiations failed. Therefore, Angangxi Station was set up in Hongqiyingzi, one kilometer away from the landlord of the Middle East Railway Station. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), after the approval of the Middle East Railway Authority, the Qi'ang Railway was extended from Hongqi Yingzitun to Qiqihar Station (Ang'angxi Station) of the Middle East Railway. The total length is 29 kilometers. Qiqihar, Damintun, and Wufuma were set up. , Hongqiyingzi four sites. In 1937, the Manchurian Railway demolished the light railway and built the Chi Ang line railway. Sightseeing: When you come here, you can see the century-old station building of Ang'angxi (now Ang'angxi International Passenger Waiting Room), Ang'angxi Railway Club, Rossiya Avenue (the Russian buildings on both sides), the Soviet Martyrs’ Cemetery, etc. When walking around the Angangxi Railway Station, you can see a lot of paving stones. The entire railway station has been refurbished, and the building body is very new. On the other side of the overpass, you can see many local residential buildings. Maybe now Many of the local residents are employees and family members of the railway bureau. The Soviet Army Martyrs Cemetery is opposite the railway station, and you can walk to Rossia Avenue as a key development project. We can see it when we go. The staff were decorating the flowers on both sides of the road in groups of two, and the old houses near the red church have been renovated. After helping the daughter-in-law and children to take pictures, walking along the street, you can see many old houses that have not been repaired. The house is still very dilapidated and looks very desolate. There are not many people living in the old houses here. Many of the old houses have been listed for protection. It is estimated that they will be renovated according to the plan in the future. Various signs indicate The local government wants to use the historical and cultural heritage here to promote tourism. It is a bit like Hengdaohezi Town in Mudanjiang Hailin. It also focuses on the Middle East Railway site. I don’t know what the overall planning and repairs will look like, but now it’s new. The repaired house can only be said to be vaguely like it was back then, but as a self-driving tour around, it is a good location for taking photos.
Rossiya Avenue is a whole street paved with this kind of stone, like the Central Avenue in Harbin. The yellow buildings on both sides are left over from the Middle East period and are very well protected. Middle East Hospital Site Middle East Railway Club Angangxi Railway Station A very literary station, do you see the bicycles parked next to the building? Does it feel like I am back when I was young? There is an overpass at the end of Yingbin Road, which connects both sides of the railway. After going up, you can see the entire railway station. I personally like the feeling of intertwining and extending the railway I saw after getting on the bridge, and I feel that it is connected to thousands of households.
