张家口天主堂在宣化区,而非张家口市区,小小教堂建筑风格非常欧式,尖尖的房顶,在夕阳下愈发别具一格,仿佛在国外,时常有鸽子🐦🐦🐦环绕飞翔在天际。天主堂每周六晚上有弥撒活动,如果不是教徒,禁止入内。天主堂前的小广场成了孩童们的轮滑天地,看着小盆友穿梭而过,真是羡慕他们的童年真美好!一生好游

Xuanhua Catholic Church: It is the main church of Xuanhua Diocese. The church is located in Xuanhua District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, China. It was built under the auspices of Father Fan Guoliang in the eighth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. In the 27th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, Zhang Cheng, a French Jesuit, arrived at propaganda and preached. In the thirty-eighth year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, French Jesuit Bardomin built the first Catholic Church in Xuanhua. The current Xuanhua Catholic Church was built in 1904; it was overhauled in 1935 and is the largest Catholic church in Zhangjiakou area. In 1993, it was announced as a key cultural relics protection unit in Hebei Province. The architectural style of the Catholic Church is the standard Gothic architectural style, with double bell spires, marble columns and buttresses truss wood and stone structure, simple and bright painted decoration, rich in religious colors; its architectural scale can be compared with that of the time. The churches in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and other big cities are comparable; the bluestone materials used in the churches have rough carvings and bright and smooth lines.
