Qinling Dongtian Fudi Scenic Area is situated near Shiweng Town, Zhashui County, Shangluo. It is located to the south foot of Qingling Mountains and has hundreds of both small and large karst caves. It is one of Northern China’s largest karst cave complexes. It has a well-developed scenic area with three caves and one terrace, namely the Buddha Cave, the Sky Cave, the Wind Cave and Duifeng Terrace. The Buddha Cave is divided into upper, middle and lower layers and it contains two tall Buddha statues. The Sky Cave was named after the entrance to the cave reaching straight into the sky, with exquisite stalactites. Amazingly, there is a wide variety of birds living within the caves all year round. Qinling Dongtian Fudi Scenic Area is not only a magical and beautiful landscape, but there is also a rare group of caves in the north. It is listed as one of the top ten scenic spots in Shaanxi Province.
Located in Yingpan Town, Zhashui County, Shangluo City, on the south slope of Qinling Mountains, the Niubeiliang National Forest Park consists of four scenic areas: Takin Valley, Landscape Recreation Area, Six-feet Ridge and Peak Forest Scenery. The park is home to unique high mountains consisting of glacial relics and trees, such as maple, cedar and oak. There are also ancient trees and vines, as well as clear streams and waterfalls along the way.
Qin and Chu Ancient Road is located in the foothills of Zhongnan Mountain in Qinfeng Village, Yingpan Town, Zhashui County, Shaanxi Province. The ancient road has a long history and was the main road from Qin to Chu during ancient times. Important goods such as silk and grains were traded, while military horses and chariots also passed through here. It was an important battleground. The ancient road crosses Zhongnan Mountain and is situated at a special spot on the north-south ridge of Qinling Ridge. There are many glacial remains, rhododendrons, pastures and exotic flowers along the road.
Phoenix Town is situated to the southeast of Zhashui County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, on the southern slope of the Qinling Mountains. The three rivers, namely, the Shechuan River, the Zao River and the Shuidigou River all meet here to form a delta. The curved old streets and the old houses dating from the Ming and Qing Dynasties characterize this place. The ancient town is more than 2,000 meters long and there are still more than 60 houses from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
