The Zhengzhou Museum was founded in 1957, with a building area of 14,200 square meters. Based on the bronze square tripod of the Shang Dynasty unearthed in Zhengzhou, it takes the meaning of "Ding Li Zhongyuan" and is equipped with a round saucer-shaped roof. The eaves are far-reaching and the lines are stretched. The philosophical concept of "the sky is round and the place is round". The museum has a collection of more than 50,000 pieces of various cultural relics, and the basic display is based on the theme of "Ancient Capital Zhengzhou". The exhibition focuses on the splendid bronze civilizations of the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties in Zhengzhou. The collections include ancient elephants and other animal fossils dating back 400,000 to 500,000 years ago, exquisite and simple bronzes, jades, and primitive porcelains unearthed from the Shangcheng site in Zhengzhou, Han Dynasty portrait bricks with various patterns unearthed in Zhengzhou, Su Shi's cursive script "Drunkard". "Ting Ji" stone carvings; colorful porcelain, Ming and Qing Dynasty and modern famous calligraphy and painting and other precious cultural relics.
