Usually the Martyrs Cemetery is free and open to the public. Many people play sports in the open space. They go to worship the martyrs during the Ching Ming Festival and visit the Martyrs Museum. Many martyrs are young children in their teens.
Before the Ching Ming Festival, many people would come to worship the martyrs. I took a closer look at these martyrs that day and found that these people who sacrificed their lives for the country were basically children in their teens and 20s.
Zhenjiang Martyrs Memorial Hall is located in Zhenjiang Martyrs Cemetery. Its total construction area is 3,200 square meters. The entire exhibition hall is divided into "Opium War", "Revolution of 1911", "Foundation of the Party", "Agrarian Revolution", "War of Resistance Against Japan", There are 8 parts of "War of Liberation", "Socialism" and "Remembrance Hall". The exhibition hall condenses the history of the people of Zhenjiang in the 160 years of national, democratic revolution and socialist construction and reform and opening up. The exhibition hall comprehensively uses artistic expression techniques such as oil painting, traditional Chinese painting, woodcuts, sculptures, diagrams, light boxes, polymer silicone portraits, and modern high-tech sound, light, and electronic control display forms, which have intuitive and vivid effects. In terms of content, the Martyrs Memorial Hall vividly displays the struggle history of 235 martyrs through more than 400 pictures of martyrs and more than 150 pieces of revolutionary cultural relics.
