Xijindu Ancient Street is located at the foot of Xiyuntai Mountain in Zhenjiang City. It is a historical relic built on the Poshan plank road. Founded in the Six Dynasties period, it was the Yangtze River Ferry Terminal in the past. With the deposition of the Yangtze River beach, the river bank gradually moved northward, and the ferry was no longer there. The Xijin ferry at that time has now become the Xijindu cultural district. This ancient street is 1,000 meters long. The appearance of the ancient street is very well preserved. Historical relics can be seen everywhere. Although the function of Xijindu as a ferry has disappeared, it retains its style, culture and religion. There are no tickets for shopping in the ancient streets. Some small attractions Guanyin Cave and Life Saving Club need to purchase a combined ticket of 30 yuan. There is nothing good in it. I think there is no need to spend this money. It is very artistic to stroll through the ancient streets, one step spans thousands of years, and back to ancient times.
🎼🎼 Zhenjiang Ancient Town 🎼🎼 The ancient town of Zhenjiang is located at No. 25 Xijindu Street, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang City. Xijindu Ancient Street is located at the foot of Yuntai Mountain, west of Zhenjiang City, and is a historical site built on the broken mountain path. Xijindu Ancient Street is the most preserved, concentrated and perfect area of Zhenjiang cultural relics and historic sites, and is the place of the "text vein" of Zhenjiang historical and cultural city. Xijindu is not only a "living history" but also a historical and cultural expo area of Zhenjiang, which has carried the remains of more than 1300 years since the Tang Dynasty.
There are a few parking spaces at the entrance of the scenic spot. There is an underground parking lot opposite 🅿️ Entering the ancient town does not require tickets 🎫. Tickets need to be purchased for Yuntai Pavilion and Guanyin Cave, 20 yuan. The road on Yuntai Pavilion needs to climb the mountain steps, a little tired, relatively steep, some sections of the road do not have a guardrail, Yuntai Pavilion has an elevator, the second floor is animated to introduce the history of Zhenjiang, after going up, you can see the panorama of Zhenjiang around, very shocking.
