On the north side of the Wuyang River, from Shiping Mountain to the slope of the new bridge, many ancient lanes have been built according to the mountains, which are quite characteristic. Many ancient lanes were built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and some courtyards were built in the ancient lanes, all of which need to walk steps to reach.
These ancient streets and lanes built by the mountains and rivers are one of the most distinctive parts of the ancient city of Zhenyuan. Most of them were built by tourists from all over the country during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Use it to walk through the streets and alleys, just like traveling through time and space, full of history.
The gate of the deep house compound here is not parallel to the laneway, nor is it facing the main house. There are "crooked doorways" and "side door left way". Most of the existing old houses in ancient lanes were built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, but the history of the laneway is difficult to trace back to its origin.
The ancient lanes of Zhenyuan Ancient City are narrow, long and deep, with intricate structures. There is a saying of "Six Pai Ten Alleys". The ancient lanes of Zhenyuan are the heart of the ancient city of Zhenyuan, and there are still seven remaining: Shipaifang Lane, Sifangjing Lane, Fuxing Lane, Renshou Lane, Chongzikou Lane, Mi Dock Lane, Chenjiajing Lane. The seven lanes are all built on Shiping Mountain near the river, winding up and down with the mountain, like snakes slowly creeping up the mountain. A stranger who doesn't know the depth, once rushed into this "ecstasy array".
[Scenery] When you come to Zhenyuan, you must check in in the ancient alley. This is the former seat of the city, and the people who live in it are all dignitaries. There is a saying here called crooked door and evil way, you will find that the door and the way are staggered. Pay attention to Feng Shui.
[Fun] The alley extends in all directions, there are shops in the alley, but there are few. You can go up the mountain from here. It's easy to get lost.
This is called Sifang Gujing. Native indigenous people. They all live by water. In the four weeks of this ancient well, many old residential hospitals were spawned. It's really inhabited. This is where there is fireworks, not just a scenic spot.
There are homestays in the alley, as well as a special snack bar. For example, the famous Yuanjia Tofu.
