Zhuanghe is situated in the southeast corner of the Liaodong Peninsula in southern Liaoning. It is close to the coastal city of Dalian and is a popular tourist destination with stunning natural scenery. Popular destinations include Bingyu Valley Scenic Area, famous for its unusual quartzite rock formations and red pine forests, Haiwang Nine Islands, Tianmen Mountain and Buyunshan Hot Springs Resort.
Bingyu Valley is located in the northern mountainous area of Zhuanghe City in Dalian. It is a famous summer destination in Dalian. You will find rare karst landforms of the north here. Play in the water, view the mountains, and cruise in a boat on the lake. The Prajna Cave on the mountainside is a famous place of historic interest in the scenic area. There is a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree at the mouth of the cave. There are both Buddhist and Taoist temples in the cave as well as the two different incenses for Taoism and Buddhism.
Tianmenshan National Forest Park is located in the northern mountainous area of Zhuanghe City, Dalian. It consists of five different scenic spots, including Tianmen Mountain, Yunqi Mountain, Yihe River, and Xianghu Lake. It is a strange quartz rock peak forest landscape, in which the cloud peak is often covered by clouds. In addition, Tianmen Mountain has a rich cultural landscape. It was founded in the Chaoyang view of the Liao and Jin Dynasties and has a history of more than a thousand years.
Dalian Buyunshan Hot Spring has an extensive history and many valuable resources. It is a lovely place for tourism and vacation. It is found in the Step Yunshan Hotspring Ecological Resort in Dalian next to Fuyun Mountain. Among them, the Tropical style Bathing Beach features the southern China-style shower bamboo house among lush green pine forests. The bamboo pavilion, bamboo gallery, and bamboo screen are intertwined with each other to form a beautiful and increasingly elegant atmosphere.
The ancient town of Qingduizi has a long history. As early as in the Tang Dynasty, there were fishing boats and merchant ships parked here and temples were built. The scale, quantity and the completeness of appearance of the ancient buildings of the Qing Dynasty and the Warlord Era in the town are rare in the whole southern Liaoning. The town of Qingduizi flourished via the port and the earliest temple was the Tianhou Palace dedicated to the goddess of the sea. In addition, there were also Puhua Temple, Jade Emperor Temple, Chenghuang Temple, and Fire God Temple. Only Puhua Temple is left. The Tianhou Palace is in the Puhua Temple.
