Indulge in Culinary Delights
#penangtrip Indulge in Culinary Delights amidst the Sea of Reeds at Dream Journey Cafe
Dream Journey is located in Lembah Permai, nestled at the foot of the hills. It operates within a shop house that also houses a car beauty shop.
There's no prominent signboard, so if you're unaware, you might just fall in love with the dreamy design.
It's a cafe themed around "dream catchers", with the most prominent being the dream catcher tents inside, and the walls adorned with various dream catchers. All of this is due to the owner's passion for dream catchers.
In the 18th century, Native Americans believed that dream catchers could capture beautiful dreams, letting nightmares vanish with the morning sunlight. They believed that the night air was full of various dreams, and only dream catchers could filter them, bringing them into a beautiful dreamland.
The owner also hopes to use the power of dream catchers to let guests who enjoy food here have a great time.
Recently, Dream Journey has undergone some renovations. They have used a lot of reeds to surround the photo spots, creating scenes of a sea of reeds. Coupled with the dream catcher tents, even the pillowcases are dream catcher elements, overall very dreamy.
Reeds are a kind of beautiful plant that is often used to symbolize everlasting love. It represents romance, freedom, fashion, and beauty.
In addition to the beautiful interior design, Dream Journey also has a variety of dessert menus. For example: mille crepe cake, tiramisu, macarons, and different shapes of marshmallows, etc. Super high value and delicious, simply irresistible. (Note: Dream Journey provides at least 3 different flavors of mille crepe cake every day. And a new flavor is changed every 3 days.)
As for main courses, there are also many choices, from American breakfast, fruit yogurt, salad, chicken chop, spaghetti, rice dishes, noodle dishes to snacks. The portion of each dish is large, and the taste is also good. Recommended menu items include: Thai seafood Tom Yum noodles. Fresh prawns with sour and spicy Tom Yum soup are very appetizing. For rice dishes, you can try their nine-layered pork minced rice and fried chicken Nasi Lemak. If you want something lighter and healthier, smoked duck salad and fruit yogurt are definitely good choices.
In such a dreamy environment, if you don't want to eat too much, you can also just order a dessert. Dream Journey is perfect for spending a leisurely day.

The "Lee Tung Street" in Hong Kong is a must-visit place
This time, I quickly made a trip to Hong Kong again💓
I went straight to the popular Wan Chai Lee Tung Street in recent years, which used to be the "Wedding Card Street"~
Yes!! It's the well-known Wedding Card Street😆
And if you come here during the Mid-Autumn Festival, you can't miss this place!
Over 800 lanterns are lit at the same time, the full lanterns are the most Mid-Autumn Festival flavor~and also add a bit more Hong Kong flavor~
In addition to the fiery red lanterns, there is also the popular Thai shaved ice shop After You Dessert Café✔️
Even friends from Thailand highly recommend it!
I tried the signature Thai milk tea shaved ice🍧The ice is very fine~it melts as soon as it enters the mouth! The texture is very smooth😆😆
I dare to say, it's the best shaved ice I've ever had...!!
I also tried a crepe specialty store from Canada, Crepe Delicious
Those who like crepes should have heard of this one, right?!
I ordered a smoked salmon avocado crepe, a thick piece of salmon!! A big satisfaction in one bite😆
And you can taste the freshness of the ingredients👍
When I went to the customer service, I showed my foreign passport and entry proof~I could also exchange for a beautiful small lantern~💓
Weekend 2-day tour in Hong Kong | Citywalk under the black storm
I would like to advise you all to check the weather before you travel! I unexpectedly encountered a rare black rain in Hong Kong. Adhering to the principle of 'since I'm here, I might as well make the most of it', I opened my umbrella and started my citywalk. Due to the black rain, work and school were suspended, shops were closed, garbage was everywhere, and the subway was flooded. However, I have to say that Hong Kong is really photogenic. Despite all this, I still managed to capture the strong Hong Kong style.
-
👣Route:
Day1: Mong Kok (Goldfish Street, Bird Street, Garden Street) - Eighteen Dog Powder, Dan Wang, Mommy Egg Waffles, Fat Sister Snacks - Yau Ma Tei - Jia Jia Dessert, Dim Sum to - Yau Ma Tei Police Station, Temple Street - Tsim Sha Tsui - Sister Wah, Bakehouse - Harbour City - Victoria Harbour Night View
Day2: Tsim Sha Tsui - Clock Tower, Victoria Harbour, Eslite Bookstore on the 2nd floor of Harbour City - Hong Kong Tourism Board on the first floor of Star Ferry (buy fridge magnets, receive Hong Kong gifts) - Take the Star Ferry to Central - Regal Ice Cream Truck, Ferris Wheel - Central Market - Mid-levels Escalator - Bake House, Kau Kee Beef Brisket - Graffiti Wall - Tai Kwun - Lan Fong Yuen, Zhan Zai Ji - Art Centre - Causeway Bay - Wing Kee Noodles - Monster Building
-
✔️Mong Kok: The streets and pedestrian bridges here are very suitable for Hong Kong style street photography, the strong local flavor is like stepping into a Wong Kar-wai film, but be reminded that many shops on Goldfish Street do not allow photography, so avoid them.
✔️Yau Ma Tei: Walking along Nathan Road from Mong Kok, you will reach Yau Ma Tei. The bus stops along the way are very photogenic. As a fan of TVB, I definitely won't miss the chance to check in at Yau Ma Tei Police Station. I also stumbled upon Temple Street not far from the police station, where I took a tourist photo that I really like in the middle of the street market.
✔️Victoria Harbour: How can you miss the night view of Victoria Harbour when you come to Hong Kong? The Avenue of Stars is really the best place to see the night view. Walking along, passing the Star Ferry Pier, you will arrive at Harbour City, where you can end the day's itinerary with some shopping.
✔️Tsim Sha Tsui: The viewing platform near the Clock Tower, the steps at the entrance of Harbour City, and the Eslite Bookstore on the 2nd floor of Harbour City are all excellent spots for shooting Victoria Harbour. By the way, don't forget to take a photo at the successful person's photo spot in Victoria Harbour.
✔️Star Ferry: The pier is very photogenic, the dark green waiting area is super retro, and it only takes a few minutes to get from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central, super convenient.
✔️Central: There are many attractions worth checking in along the way, and there are arcades or pedestrian bridges all the way, so even if it rains heavily, it won't affect the citywalk. Ferris Wheel - Central Market - Mid-levels Escalator - Tai Kwun - Art Centre, you can walk along this route.
✔️Monster Building: The dense buildings combined with the retro tram, every shot is a big shot, unfortunately it rained too heavily that day, and I didn't make it.
Luxurious day tour in West Kowloon, Hong Kong! Arrive in just one hour!
The double festival is coming soon, it's time for friends who want to travel to Hong Kong to add it to your favorites, eat, drink, check-in and shop in one stop√~
Take the high-speed train from Guangzhou to West Kowloon, Hong Kong, it only takes one hour, and you can clear customs quickly if you declare in advance! Go and return on the same day, easy and convenient!
This time we plan to have a crazy shopping trip at ELEMENTS Mall in West Kowloon. It's just a few minutes' walk from the M exit of the West Kowloon High-speed Railway Station, which is really convenient~
We choose to have our lunch directly in ELEMENTS Mall, where the catering is very diversified, no need to queue outside, you can enjoy the air conditioning while eating in the mall, it's so cool in this hot day~
JOIA
The restaurant environment is high-end and casual, and it's a great place to check-in~
This steak is really a loss if you don't eat it, you can feel the quality of the beef in your mouth, the beef is roasted very fragrant~so satisfying~
There are all kinds of international big brands here, many specialty stores like L.V, CHANEL, GUCCI, Hermes, etc.
It's so beneficial to come to ELEMENTS during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival! From now until October 8th, with designated consumption, you can get triple rewards and enjoy up to HKD 1,800+ gifts!
When I'm tired, I go to the ELEMENTS CLUB VIP lounge to rest
Sitting on the Fendi sofa enjoying champagne and raspberry lychee cake
The cake is also very beautiful, basically no little fairy can refuse it~
The VIP lounge also provides French mineral water for members, which is atmospheric and high-end
My favorite shooting spots in Hong Kong (address
Hong Kong is really great for shooting! It's also very suitable for citywalk~
The attractions and restaurants are relatively concentrated, basically accessible by subway and bus, and you can take a ride back at any time when you are tired
Sharing my shooting spots in Hong Kong where I walk 30,000 steps every day, it's really tiring but it's really beautiful🔻

Anyone who misses these places in Hong Kong, I will definitely be very sad.
Before, my impression of Hong Kong was "shopping paradise" and the "pearl of the Orient".
Actually, Hong Kong is a city with diverse cultures. It has a unique historical and cultural background. On the streets of Hong Kong, you can always see the intersection of Chinese and Western cultures 🍃 without even trying.
After three years, I set foot on this precious land of Hong Kong again.
Organized this super artistic travel guide, taking you on a city stroll and experiencing the charm of Hong Kong, the art capital 👋🏻
·
I have always believed that to understand a city,
The quickest way is to explore local museums and street alleys.
One has cultural heritage, the other has worldly fireworks. When they merge, they create a blend of ordinary life and strong artistic atmosphere. Just like today, we will recommend two cultural treasures in Hong Kong, allowing us to explore another side of this city of art. / 🚅Itinerary: West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong → Hong Kong Palace Museum → Tai Kwun.
🔻Hong Kong Palace Museum (Figures 1-3, 7-11)
The Hong Kong Palace Museum draws on the architecture and collections of the Beijing Palace Museum, and reinterprets the two-layer exhibition of the Palace Museum culture in a way that combines the ancient and modern, and integrates Chinese and Western cultures. The exhibits are carefully selected by the Hong Kong Palace Museum team and the Beijing Palace Museum, taking more than a year to select from 1.86 million collections. Each piece is splendid. I prefer the "Concrete as Vessel" ceramic exhibition, with its "Qing Glaze Brush Washer" in the color of blue sky and rain, the Ming Chenghua Doucai Cup, the Jingdezhen Blue and White Flat Bottle... Appreciating a piece of ancient porcelain, thinking about a piece of ancient meaning, I am deeply shocked by the beauty of these orderly artifacts and cultures that have been passed down, and I wish I could travel back in time to appreciate the style of the ancients.
Don't miss the observation deck upstairs when you come here, and be sure to stay until night because the night view is too beautiful.
🚇Ke Tudiandian Subway Station Exit J2-
🔻Main Exhibition Hall (Figures 4-5, 12-14)
The Tai Kwun is located in the heart of Central, with a history of nearly 170 years. It mainly consists of 16 historical buildings. Nowadays, it has transformed into a popular spot full of artistic atmosphere. The architectural complex retains its intact buildings and offers free admission for visiting. Moreover, there are periodic exhibitions.
At the Grand Hall, I am more impressed by the charm of architecture. The new and the old, the East and the West, inheritance and innovation, culture and fashion are all organically integrated in these revitalized buildings. You can have a dialogue with the past across time and space, or appreciate trendy art... In the grand architecture and the details of art, you can slowly understand the changes of this city.
🚇: Exit D1 of Island Line /
If you still have time, why not continue to explore the West Kowloon Cultural District, where you can see the first contemporary visual art museum in Asia, M+, which is also one of Hong Kong's important landmarks. The huge exhibition space is enough for you to wander all day.
.
Let's gather in Hong Kong and attend an art appointment.

‼️Hong Kong travel tips:
🔸Hong Kong and Macau Communication Certificate + Endorsement
🔸Octopus Card
🔸International Roaming/HK SIM Card
🔸Convert the plug.
It turns out that half a day is enough for Hong Kong Disneyland, 5 hours to experience 8 popular projects
This time we went to Hong Kong Disneyland. Because we had something in the morning, we didn't enter the park until the afternoon, and we were shopping and taking pictures before 4:00, without any projects. That is to say, we didn't start the project until 4:00 in the afternoon.
Then we didn't buy the VIP card for the main park! Just bought a single VIP card for the new Frozen park. (Note: The VIP card for the new park is separate, not included in the 3 items and 8 items of the main park!)
First went to "Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain" and "Iron Man Experience", these two are very close, and at that time they were all queued for about 10 minutes.
Then we rushed to the new park of , where the projects usually have to queue for more than an hour. So if you don't want to queue, just buy a VIP card to enter.
(There was a small episode here, that is, we did not register for the Disneyland membership in advance, and the mobile phone signal was not good, and it took 20 minutes to buy the VIP card at the door.)
Fortunately, we used the VIP card to experience "Frozen Ever After", and there was no need to queue at all when we went in. This new project is not particularly impressive, but since it is the first launch in Disneyland, it is worth a try!
Another "Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs" feels like a regular roller coaster, and the queue is also very long. We didn't want to spend more money on VIP cards, so we didn't go.
The shops in the park are also crowded and need to queue, but there will be some products that are not available in the main park.
The scene of Arendelle Town is still very beautiful, very suitable for taking pictures, although there are many people, but you can still get a big picture if you find a good position!
Then we wanted to see "Festival of The Lion King", calculated the time, and just went to the "It's a Small World" that didn't need to queue up.
"Festival of The Lion King" has four performances every day, each lasting half an hour, which is worth watching!
When we came out, it was dark, and it was time for dinner, and we had to queue for dinner. After eating and drinking, we took advantage of the gap when most people were queuing for fireworks in advance, and quickly experienced two popular projects "Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars" and "Mystic Manor", which usually take a long time to queue, but before watching the fireworks, they can basically go in a few minutes.
After the project, the fireworks were about to start, and we ran all the way to to grab an outdoor position, sat down comfortably and watched the fireworks. There will be a little obstruction, but it doesn't matter.
Overall, this trip was quite enjoyable, and we took many favorite photos. Of course, if you have time, it would be better to buy an early enjoyment card to experience! Also, you need to make an appointment in advance to see Elsa!

Hong Kong Photography· 99% of people don't know about the niche shooting location in Hong Kong
I recommend a niche photo spot in Hong Kong
You can see the sea, take pictures, and there are golden buildings

Speaking of Hong Kong's China Hong Kong City
The first thing we think of is a shopping paradise
But actually taking pictures here is also very nice
Take the high-speed rail to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station
You can directly walk from the F exit of Austin to China Hong Kong City
Go in from the main entrance of China Hong Kong City and go up two escalators to the second floor
There is a platform where you can take pictures of the golden exterior of Harbour City
Especially when you go at sunset, it's really beautiful!
This platform directly faces the sea to watch the sunset🌄
There are very few people and it's very quiet. There were hardly any people when I went on Sunday
It is also one of the few quiet places suitable for taking pictures in busy Hong Kong
·
📷Photography tips:
Make full use of the architectural frame composition to shoot the distant seascape
Use telephoto to shoot the scene partially to highlight the key picture more concise
Capture more highlights, try not to shoot empty scenes, it's better to have a finishing touch

The night view of Hong Kong is so beautiful
The night view of Flying Goose Mountain in Hong Kong is really beautiful! But it is also very challenging, the following Flying Goose Mountain guide is suitable for veterans, not recommended for beginners.
🏁Location: Flying Goose Mountain, Hong Kong
🚌Transportation: Hong Kong East Rail Line Kowloon Tong Station➠Kwun Tong Line Rainbow Station C1 Exit➠Minibus 1A De Wang School
🚶🏻♂️Outdoor Guide:
❶From De Wang School, walk up along Zha Mountain Road, reach the Country Park notice board, follow the path all the way up the mountain to reach the helipad at the top of the mountain, there are ribbon indications at the fork.
❷It takes about an hour from the foot of the mountain to the helipad, most of it is wild road, very difficult to walk, must go in groups.
❸Continue walking forward and you can see the night view check-in position, there are more positions here, shooting after sunset will be more out of the picture.
⚠️Check-in Tips
❶The road is relatively narrow, the check-in position is next to the cliff, it is recommended to shoot on it.
❷Must go in groups, return the same way, the road will be easier.
❸Do not take risks for the sake of taking pictures, the night view is already very beautiful.
❹Do not easily challenge the outdoors unless necessary, especially for friends with insufficient outdoor experience.

Hong Kong | A niche spot to capture the sea without going to the pier, with a guide
📖While making a Hong Kong citywalk guide, I discovered a lesser-known platform where you can view Victoria Harbour and the sea. It's hidden in the Sky Garden on the 6th floor of the K11 Musea mall, right across from Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars.
👣Route: ①Enter K11 at ground level, find the elevator opposite Cartier ②Take the elevator to the 6th floor ③Head to the revolving door leading to the terrace
🕶️The view here is great, with a gentle sea breeze and a distant view of Victoria Harbour, the Avenue of Stars below, and the bustling crowd.
📮Location: Sky Garden on the 6th floor of K11 Musea mall, Hong Kong
🚗Transport: MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit J
🎫Admission: Free
⚠️Tips:
√The photos turn out better on a sunny day, as it can be a bit dark on cloudy days.
√Behind the platform, you can see the road, buses, and taxis, which also makes for a very Hong Kong-style photo.
√Make sure to search for 'K11 Musea' not just 'K11', as they are two different places. Don't go to the wrong one.
√If you can't find the direct elevator to the 6th floor, just take any elevator and then use the escalator to go up or down.
√The mall has a lot to offer in terms of dining, entertainment, and art, and it's also not tiring to walk around with kids.
👉If you're tired of following the crowd and want to see something different, come with us~ Looking forward to your follow!
The best way to travel in Hong Kong is citywalk
Hong Kong is a city suitable for strolling, with red and white taxis, retro double-decker trams, and brightly colored billboards... A casual snapshot is very photogenic~
We went to Shek O in the morning, and in the afternoon we took the subway to Sai Ying Pun to start our Citywalk mode.
📍Sai Ying Pun Streets
✔️Intersection of Third Street and Centre Street: From this position looking down, you can capture images 2️⃣ and 3️⃣. If you want to photograph a taxi, you need to wait a bit.
✔️Western Street: Walk from Third Street towards Western Street to the end, and you'll see the Li Sing Tai Hang building in image 4️⃣.
✔️Intersection of First Street and Centre Street: Return to the bustling intersection of Centre Street and immerse yourself in the scene for image 8️⃣. Go up from the nearby vegetable market to the blue footbridge, where you can overlook the streets for images 6️⃣ and 7️⃣.
✔️Eastern Street: Walk from Third Street towards Eastern Street to the end, and you can capture the greenery and streets in image 🔟.
📍Sai Wan Swimming Shed
✔️It is said that the sea surface glows beautifully at dusk, but we gave up on this place because the weather was not good on the day we went.
📍Kennedy Town
✔️For the famous photo spot image 1️⃣~ on the left-hand side of Kennedy Town Station Exit C, enter the basketball court, go up the stairs, and then you will see a gathering place in the basketball court~ To take the cover photo, you must bring a telephoto lens‼️
📍Central
✔️Near Kennedy Town, you can take a tram to Central, feeling the quaint tram weaving through the skyscrapers, as the Hong Kong-style BGM starts playing~
📍Bank Street
✔️From the footbridge near the Bank of China Tower, looking down at night, the Bank Street is dazzlingly brilliant. Wait for a tram to pass by and capture this moment in images 1️⃣5️⃣ and 1️⃣6️⃣~
When you come to Hong Kong, the locals will definitely recommend a hotel for you to stay in
Every time I return to Hong Kong, it's a day trip, coming and going in a hurry. After the children started school, my wife and I took advantage of the free time to slow down our usual hurried pace, find a hotel we like, and stay for two days and one night, walking around and enjoying some quality time together.
Growing up in Hong Kong, I know that choosing a hotel is not an easy task: central locations are convenient for dining and shopping, but the rooms are generally small and expensive; staying in the New Territories means a headache of travel time back and forth to the city center, but the hotels in the eastern part of Tsim Sha Tsui, 'Tsim East', have really won my heart.
This time we chose to stay at the New World Millennium Hotel in the eastern part of Tsim Sha Tsui, which is truly an all-around top performer among city hotels: just 5 minutes away from the MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station and Hung Hom Station, it can be described as bustling yet tranquil.
As soon as we entered the room, my wife praised my choice this time: a 30-plus square meter full sea view room at a price that is a bug-like existence in the city, and the room is also newly renovated, with an overall nice atmosphere. Right in front of the hotel is the Victoria Harbour waterfront promenade, where you can enjoy the sea breeze and the night view. In 10-15 minutes, you can walk to K11 MUSEA and Harbour City, a feeling that is truly unique in all of Hong Kong. Next to it is the Hung Hom Coliseum, so after a concert or fireworks show, there's no need to rush back to Shenzhen in such a disheveled state.
For a more comfortable experience, this time I chose to stay on the executive floor. In the evening, we went to the executive lounge on the 15th floor, enjoying cocktails while overlooking the dazzling night view, fully enjoying this little romance that belonged to just the two of us.
The next day, we slept until we woke up naturally, then went to Cafe East on the 2nd floor to enjoy a sumptuous buffet breakfast. To my delight, I discovered that their Western bread is baked in-house on the same day, and as a bread lover, I indulged in showing off the high-quality carbs.
After a hearty and nutritious breakfast, we went to the gym to exercise and inject some dopamine into our bodies. It's a pity that the temperature was still quite low these days, otherwise, we could have sunbathed by the pool.
Although the two-day, one-night mini-vacation was not long, it was still very worthwhile to slow down and savor this city. If friends visiting Hong Kong are looking for a hotel that is 1) in the city center 2) has spacious rooms 3) offers dazzling Victoria Harbour views 4) has modern hotel decor; and most importantly, offers good value for money and an overall good experience, this is indeed a good choice.

| One-day tour check-in record in Hong Kong
Hey dear fairies! 🌈 Finally arrived in magical Hong Kong! 🇭🇰 Wow wow wow~ It's my first time here, I'm so excited! 🤩
✅Departure
Living in Shenzhen, it's really convenient to enter Hong Kong from the Luohu port! 🚄 The clearance speed is super fast, the whole process is incredibly smooth, I didn't even have time to react, and I was already on the Hong Kong subway! 😆
⚠️Route
Kennedy Town - Central (Art Society) - Gun Factory Street Skybridge - Star Avenue (k11) - Mong Kok
1️⃣-3️⃣ The popular places in Kennedy Town are really good for taking pictures! The basketball court is also a popular check-in spot, super easy to find. After taking pictures, you can go for a walk by the nearby sea, it feels really comfortable! 🌊
4️⃣-7️⃣ Then take the subway to Central for a stroll, it feels a bit like Japan and a bit like Sydney, haha, Hong Kong is really a fusion city. The Art Society and the Gun Factory Street Skybridge are excellent choices for good photos, and the distance is not far, great! 📸👍🏻
8️⃣-9️⃣ Finally, in order not to miss the sunset in Hong Kong, I went to Star Avenue. Here I feel like I'm holding hands with Tony Leung 🥰 (just kidding). Looking at the handprints of the Hong Kong stars, it brings back the beautiful memories of having TVB accompany me when I was a child. Finally, I went to Mong Kok at night, took the world's longest escalator, it feels like a large mall and food street, not much interesting haha... 😅
☑️Summary
Overall, the one-day tour in Hong Kong feels not bad! My friend said that Hong Kong is a place where you don't want to go again after one visit, but I think it's okay! It's suitable for a leisurely stroll to feel the city atmosphere, especially Central and the city center are really like Sydney, walking all the way and feeling, every street is so familiar, it feels a bit like crossing 🕵️♀️.
Fairies, who understands my heart, come and talk about your Hong Kong stories! 🗣️💬
I went to see the Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland in advance, and the restoration is max
Hong Kong Disneyland's new park Frozen❄️ will officially open on November 20. This is currently the largest Frozen theme park in the world. When I went to HK, I took a look at it. The restoration is really high. The entire park has two projects and a theater. ▪️The magical journey of snow requires you to enter by boat. In the middle, you will follow the waterfall and dive. The scene is super immersive and restores the movie. ▪️The snow ridge sled is a small roller coaster. ▪️The forest small world theater can interact with live actors at close range. -🍽Restaurant✔️Adel Harbour Restaurant: Mostly Nordic cuisine✔️Aurora Candy House: There are very dreamy Frozen desserts inside, a place for afternoon tea. -There is also a nomadic stall in the park where you can paint Frozen-themed arm paintings. The surrounding shop is called Tick Tock Boutique. -Next time I go to HK, I will take my child to check in. -to go on holiday-Hong Kong DisneylandHong Kong

Hong Kong is really perfect for citywalks! You can take great photos just by walking around, so let me share with you a Central Citywalk route, more to come~
🔁Route:
Peak - Kennedy Town - Pier 9 - Ferris Wheel - Central Bank Street Tram - Duddell Street - Fringe Club - Lan Kwai Fong - Central Stone Slab Street
-
📍Central Stone Slab Street & Duddell Street
Pottinger Street in Central, both sides are stalls, the street is very steep, paved with stones, so it's also called Stone Slab Street~ And the kerosene lamps on Duddell Street, many TVB dramas are filmed here, great for photos and videos!
📍Lan Kwai Fong
As the lights come on, the night in Hong Kong is too beautiful! Take a stroll down Lan Kwai Fong, walk into any bar with an outdoor terrace, the view is fantastic~
📍Fringe Club
Turn a corner and you'll see this niche check-in spot, the entrance is very photogenic, and there's a free art exhibition inside~
📍Central Bank Street Tram
The tram doesn't announce stops, the destination is displayed on the front, and it moves very slowly, mainly for sightseeing! You can also take a photo with the tram track, it's very atmospheric~
📍Ferris Wheel
If you have time, remember to take a ride on the Ferris wheel at Central Pier, overlooking Victoria Harbour, 20 HKD per person, need to share the ride (160 HKD per cabin if alone), you can also take a photo with the Ferris wheel afterwards, and have a luxury ice cream!
📍Pier 9
TVB's dedicated break-up pier haha~ Heart of Greed, Love and Law, Police Cadet Sniper, Forensic Pioneer... This place has appeared in various Hong Kong dramas.
📍Star Ferry Pier
On the other side of Central Pier, you can take the Star Ferry to Central, there are so many spots to shoot Victoria Harbour here! (If you're interested in shooting spots, wait for my next post)
📍Kennedy Town
It's really photogenic, but there are also a lot of people, if you want to find a good shooting spot, you can walk a bit further, shoot diagonally~ You can also walk across the pedestrian crossing, shoot with a telephoto lens!
📍Peak
There are three ways to get to the Peak: cable car, taxi/Route 15 bus, walking, the night view from the top is really stunning! If you can wait for a sunset, it's even better~
Confirmed! It's the best value for money hotel in Hong Kong!!
Hong Kong, as an international metropolis, is full of star hotels. For the first time to visit Hong Kong, I did several days of homework and finally chose this Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin Hotel, sincerely give a full score!
The lobby is very grand, the dynamic glass sculpture is full of tension, very design sense! The front desk is enthusiastic and professional, and they gave me a film camera set, a Octopus card with a value of 50 Hong Kong dollars, tickets to the Hong Kong Museum of Culture, and a package of nostalgic Hong Kong snacks. Be sure to visit the nearby Hong Kong Museum of Culture, where you can check in multiple high-quality exhibitions at once, which is very satisfying for exhibition lovers!
The room I stayed in this time is a river view open suite, the room area is quite large in Hong Kong, spacious! The 270° floor-to-ceiling windows offer a rare view of the river in Hong Kong. The room design is elegant and the facilities are very complete, there is also a large bathtub by the window! The prepared almond cookies, whole egg horses, butter cookies, Sachima and other nostalgic Hong Kong snacks are all classic and delicious.
The gym is open 24 hours and the fitness equipment is very complete, there are also free steam rooms and wet steam rooms, which can meet the needs of a day's healthy leisure.
The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows of the executive lounge on the top floor are super beautiful, with views of the Shing Mun River, Sha Tin Racecourse, and it's a must-visit photo spot. At sunset, the sunset is full of the sky, and it's very relaxing.
The buffet at MoMo cafe on the second floor is rich and diverse! Fresh whole lobster, king crab legs, crabs, fresh oysters, mussels, shrimp, etc., salmon, octopus, tuna sashimi, freshly fried steak, lamb chops, prawns, etc., a variety of Chinese and Western hot dishes, exquisite and delicious desserts, fruits, Japanese sushi... Hundreds of dishes are available for you to take and eat! The cost performance is super high, no wonder it's full even on weekdays, so many couples and families come to enjoy it.
The LEVELthirty viewing lounge offers a wide selection of drinks, and the elegant and stylish environment is not only suitable for business negotiations, but also for girlfriends and couples to drink.
The geographical location is adjacent to Sha Tin New Town Plaza, Che Kung Temple, Sha Tin Racecourse, Hong Kong Museum of Culture, etc. There are Wellcome, Mannings, ok convenience store, McDonald's downstairs in the hotel, and it's just a few minutes walk from the Shimen subway station, with rich surrounding facilities. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from Sha Tin MTR Station and Tsim Sha Tsui, and there are many shifts. It's really convenient for travel!
This Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin Hotel is the ultimate choice for cost performance in Hong Kong hotels!
Complete Guide to Hong Kong Tourism
Hong Kong is a city that is both strange and familiar. It's my first time here, but walking on the streets can evoke memories of Hong Kong movies at any time🎞️
The retro romantic tram🚎, the busy and orderly pedestrians, the dense and modern high-rises, are unique to Hong Kong's retro and prosperity🇭🇰 It's very cinematic no matter how you shoot it🎬
Here are my 9⃣️ favorite spots in Hong Kong, remember to save them~
·
P1📍Bowie Mountain
Here you can enjoy a city night view that is no less than that of Victoria Peak. It's less crowded and off the beaten path. Navigate to "St. Joan of Arc Secondary School" and you can reach the top in 30 minutes.
P2📍Kennedy Town
The end of the road is the sea, wait for a tram🚎 to pass by with a telephoto lens, it's a postcard of Hong Kong. Navigate to the two-story basketball court on the left hand side of Kennedy Town Exit C.
P3📍Winstons coffee
It's just below the Kennedy Town basketball court. The dark-themed HONG KONG sign is great for photos, remember to buy a cup of coffee before shooting.
P4📍Third Street, Sai Ying Pun
It's an uphill section of road, the end of the road is the sea, capture the passing pedestrians and red taxis, it's very Hong Kong~
P5📍Tung Choi Street (Goldfish Street), Mong Kok
Goldfish Street at night really looks like a scene from a Wong Kar-wai movie, the red lights create a great atmosphere~
P6📍Mong Kok Bus
The streets are full of buses, at night under the red and green lights, it's full of Hong Kong flavor~ The spot is on the overpass at "Mong Kok MTR Station Exit B3"
P7📍Central Market
The spot is on the escalator of Central Market, the giant clock and the hurried pedestrians, it's like a frame of a movie🎬
P8📍Gun Club Street
Shoot from the overpass, the road surface full of road signs satisfies all my imaginations of Hong Kong, this is also a spot to shoot the tram.
P9📍Hoi Shan Building (Monster Building)
The densely packed residential buildings are one of my impressions of Hong Kong, shooting the tram and the residential buildings in the same frame, full of the old Hong Kong's market atmosphere.

The hotel has a nice environment, featuring a simple modern style, and is close to the Avenue of Stars. This time I stayed in a sea view room on the 53rd floor, and through the floor-to-ceiling windows, I could take in the breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour.
Guys who are planning to go to Hong Kong, look here, you won't want to leave once you stay
It's 2024, it's time to visit Hong Kong at least once!
Find the sense of travel immersion in the city, stay at the selected hotel in Hong Kong Mingyi Meijing Pavilion, which makes me feel very cordial.
The hotel is located on Xiefei Road in Wan Chai, a few steps away from the golden shopping area of Causeway Bay. It takes only 3 minutes to walk to Hennessy Road to take the tram, the transportation is really convenient.
The 20th floor Japanese tatami room I stayed in is not large in size, but it is small and complete. There are large floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, 270-degree high-altitude panorama, full of light, and you can also overlook a part of Victoria Harbour.
Every corner of the hotel room is very carefully planned~ The calm color scheme with Japanese tatami, large-size smart TV, capsule coffee machine and tea set, Malin+Goetz bath products, there are also many storage spaces under the washbasin, the bathroom also adopts a dry and wet separation design, and there is a smart toilet, you can feel the complete relaxation brought by the delicate comfort, and you are more willing to enjoy the good time in the hotel.
Check-in is on the 3rd floor, the high-ceilinged lobby design is mainly in wood tones, which makes the space return to the simplicity and beauty of natural elements. There is also an office area here, and you can also enjoy delicious afternoon tea with three or five friends.
Breakfast is a semi-buffet, each person can order a main course, although the types of buffet dishes are not many but very delicate and delicious. The restaurant on the 2nd floor offers innovative dishes with a fusion of Western and Japanese styles, and there is also a bar 'Uncle Ming’s' on the top floor with a theme of whiskey, which is quite stylish.
After a busy day until late at night, turn off all the indoor lights, fall asleep watching the street view of Wan Chai, Hong Kong, immerse yourself in the city in the simplest and most direct way, and wake up to a beautiful day. Hong Kong Mingyi Meijing Pavilion Selected Hotel

Capture this dynamic photo of a HK taxi in Causeway Bay! 📷
One of my favourite places to shoot is in the bustling shopping district of Causeway Bay!
To get this photo you need to head to the main traffic light crossing outside of SOGO shopping centre and wait near the traffic lights.
Lots of traffic will go by, try and spot a taxi coming past on its own. To achieve the light trail effect you will need to lower your shutter speed of your camera to around 1/10 - and when the taxi comes past you need to pan your camera in the same motion from left to right to capture the movement of the car. Use burst fire mode to shoot many pictures at once. With enough practice you will get the money shot.
Disclaimer - It took me hundreds of attempts to find this perfect shot! Keep trying with different shutter speeds until you succeed!
