About Zouping: Zouping County is in north-central Shandong Province and borders the Yellow River to the northwest. It’s also borders Zibo to the east and the Jiaonan-Jinan railway on its south. Zouping is rated as one of China’s top 100 counties. It is famous in China as a city of cotton textiles, China’s sugar capital, and the home of calligraphy. Major attractions include Baiyun (“White Cloud”) Mountain, the hometown of famous philosopher and statesman Fan Zhongyan (989-1052), the Tangli Temple, and the Baojia archaeological site.
