Maotai Town is located on the banks of the Chishui River in Renhuai City, which is the throat of Sichuan and Shanghai land transportation. The lush riverside has a "Red Army Sidu Chishui Memorial Park", and the memorial garden is "Sidu Chishui River relief wall" and "Maotai Ferry" monument.

The Monument of Maotai Ferry is located on the banks of the Chishui River in Maotai Town. The monument is built on the shore and can be reached along the stone steps. This is the main ferry of the third crossing of the Red Army's "Four Ferry Chishui". In March 1935, the main Red Army occupied Maotai in the early morning of the 16th, and at 10 a.m., the floating bridge was built at Zhongdukou, Xiadukou and Yintan. From the afternoon to the 17th, the Red Army triumphed over the Chishui River.
