Cafe Odeon, Zurich, opened in 1911 and has been a frequented place for over a hundred years by prominent intellectuals and politicians from around the world, including Lenin and Einstein. ​ Turning in Zurich, I stopped by the legendary Odeon Cafe, the cafe that Einstein often visited. A restaurant popular with Zurich locals, just off the square of the Cathedral of Our Lady (M&uuml;nsterhof), has been around for more than 700 years. It was the home of the private doctor of the convent of Notre Dame, who later sold the building to the linen weavers&#39; guild, one of the seven oldest guilds in Zurich, and some textile scenes can still be seen on the window of the restaurant. The owner of the restaurant, Sepp Wimmer, took me to the floors, where the densely-painted badges were the hallmarks of the members of the guild, on the left, the time of the company&rsquo;s establishment, and on the back, the time of joining the guild. The fountain in the square is also his magic: &quot;I can let the fountain spew wine and fill the whole pool.&quot; Still ordering my favorite Zurich veal (Z&uuml;rcher Geschnetzeltes), unlike many other restaurants that are used to cutting or shredding beef, The beef was cut into huge chunks, the meat was more delicate, and the potato cake was thicker. I ordered 2008 Solar de Mendieta Gran Reserva, he liked Spanish wine the most. I ordered oxtail clear soup, shared a Chateaubriand steak with Wenxi, and also ordered rabbit meat (like chicken), Veal sausage, roast chicken, all good 😋 The restaurant is also known for its art collection. Unfortunately, I am not embarrassed to shoot too much.

In Switzerland&#39;s first dinner (in China is a supper bar [cover face] [cover face]), I found a restaurant that ranked second on the review - Le Dezaley&#39;s cheese hot pot is definitely ranked first haha, like beef liver, steak. In addition to authentic cheese hot pot and sweet bread, there are wines from the Dezaley area, which are relatively expensive but really worth it!

Best Gluhwein

We stopped in for breakfast while in Zurich and wrapping up our 8-day trip through Switzerland. We ordered the smoked salmon Benedict which had a nice tangy Prosecco infused hollandaise on a delicate bun. We also ordered a side of bacon which had a great chew and smoky flavor. Our coffee was a ‘Vienna café style’ (?) and included a glass of cold water and little pourer of hot water. The coffee was definitely better than the typical machine-based coffee that seems to be prevalent everywhere in Switzerland. Overall, a great place with a storied history for a meal, beverage, and conversation.

Probably one of the best bar in Zurich. The staff was very welcoming and  friendly. The atmosphere is awesome. We had our amazing evening with really good music and great choice of drinks, especially aperol sour shots!!  Definitely will return when we are in Zurich again.

一个简餐的餐厅，里面的披萨味道不错，一人份的也有，不像国内都是一大个的，要了气泡水也不错，最后要了一个冰激凌，牛奶味很足。
