This park is located near Budapest’s Heroe’s Square, the zoo/botanical garden, and a beautiful church. Take a book and relax in the nicely kept grass as you watch joggers, dog walkers and tourists wander this pleasant area. there is also a small lake with ducks (and a lock bridge!) to keep you entertained on a pretty day.

City Park is Budapest's version of New York City's Central Park. Locals come here for relaxing afternoons, family get togethers and an escape from city life. Strolling the paths that snake through this park will show you what every day life is like here. It's a peaceful reprieve that's also home to the city zoo and botanical garden.
One of the first public parks of the world, Városliget (City Park in English) was the central venue of the millenial celebrations of 1896. Contrary to legends, it is not the largest park in Budapest (the title goes to Népliget), it os certainly the most loveable one – thanks to the Széchenyi Bath, the Zoo, the Circus, the summertime boat pond (that is turned into an ice-rink in the winter), the Museum of Agriculture, and – speaking of museums – the Heroes' Square in the embrace of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Kunsthalle (Art's Hall). The Városliget is an excellent place for walks and recreation even in summer or winter
