Quarantine

Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older will be subject to a Rapid Antigen Test at their own expense of $10 USD on arrival. Passengers who test positive will be further subject to a RT-PCR test at their own expense of $50 USD.

Vaccinated passengers: Test on arrival is not required for passengers that are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Other exempt passengers:

  1. Passengers holding a negative RT-PCR or NAAT test certificate with QR code from an approved laboratory obtained within 72 hours prior to departure; or
  2. Crew members.
COVID-19 Testing

Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged older than 12 years must hold a negative RT-PCR or NAAT test certificate with QR code from an approved laboratory obtained within 72 hours prior to departure.

Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for fully vaccinated passengers who can present a valid certificate with QR code proving they are fully vaccinated upon arrival. Vaccines approved by Tanzania or the World Health Organization (WHO) are accepted.

Other exempts passengers:

  1. Passengers aged 12 years and younger;
  2. Passengers in transit; or
  3. Crew members.
