The Great Cornholio III $5,000 Bags Tournament will take place at Lazy Gators in Lake Ozark on June 15th, 2024. Presented by Deep Eddy's, this event will feature a maximum of 100 teams competing for a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000. The entry fee is $65 per team, with payouts including $2,500 for the first-place winner. Players have the option to bring their own bags or use those provided at the venue. Registered teams will also receive complimentary Deep Eddy's liquor and seltzer samples. Capital Cornhole is the proud sponsor of this tournament. Lazy Gators, situated on the main channel of Lake of the Ozarks, offers a unique setting with an open astroturf field for the competition and a swim-up pool bar overlooking the breathtaking views of the lake. Join us for a beginner clay workshop at Lazy Goods storefrontin Morro Bay! We will be making a Femme Figure Vase! You will learn the basics of working with clay using the slab construction method and decorating by sculpting and manipulating the form. Adriana Lemus from Night Owl Pottery will guide you through this two-hour intro to clay workshop! The $70 fee includes white stoneware clay, all materials and tools to use during the workshop, glaze and firing, two hours of instruction by an experienced ceramic artist, light bites AND a glass of wine! Once your pottery is created, you will leave it with the instructor where she will take it back to her studio in San Luis Obispo to be fired, glazed (painted), and fired a second time. This process takes about 4-6 weeks. When complete, your pottery will be brought back to Lazy Goods to be picked up. Adriana Lemus was born and raised on the Central Coast and has been working with ceramics for 16 years. She studied art at UC Berkeley and has been running her own business for the past 7 years. Adriana creates functional and non-functional ceramic vessels that are made to connect with the soul. Adriana teaches private throwing lessons in her backyard studio, sells her work at local Makers Markets, online, and is currently working on commission work for restaurants, hotels, spas, and homes. Handmade using precious metals and incorporating natural and one-of-a-kind gemstones, Lazy Goods jewelry is made by Naomi Holmes at her home studio on the central coast of California.
