The 40th Yanqing District Ice and Snow Carnival in Beijing kicked off on November 22nd at the National Alpine Skiing Center. This year's carnival integrates resources from across the district, offering a diverse winter extravaganza encompassing ice and snow sports, ice and snow parks, ice and snow competitions, ice lantern festivals, ice and snow performances, and local ice and snow activities. Over 100 ice and snow activities and products will run from mid-to-late November this year until the end of February 2026. At the event, on the ski slopes of the National Alpine Skiing Center, 300 skiers, skis and poles in hand, began their winter skiing adventure amidst cheers and splashing snow, officially launching Yanqing's first skiing event of the winter.
