Eastervaan III, the 7th Danger Close event, is set to take place at Dodington Parish Council in Chipping Sodbury on April 20, 2024. This one-day Horus Heresy event will feature intense battles as participants compete with their 2500 point armies. The event will abide by the All Age of Darkness 2.0 rules, allowing the use of PDF documents available at the time of the event. While the organizers may communicate any changes closer to the event, they emphasize that this is a friendly gathering where characterful and narrative-driven armies are celebrated. The focus will be on objective-driven scenarios and troop-oriented gameplay. To enhance the immersive experience, participants are encouraged to showcase their own characters and leave special characters and Primarchs at home. In a departure from previous events, Lords of War will be allowed, but the emphasis remains on creating enjoyable lists for both players. In a unique twist, participants will be grouped into smaller teams, providing an opportunity for diverse match-ups and representing the confusion of the betrayal at Eastervaan III.
