It's my worst hotel experience ever. They gave me a disability room, so all things were set up to be easy for a wheelchair person to reach, but it was not suitable for a regular person. The sink, the shelves, and the outlets were designed to be lower than standard, and also, the shower has no glass to prevent the water from spilling out of it, so when someone took a shower, that meant the bathroom floor would be full of water, and no one could use it until the water dried.

Stayed in this Grand Hyatt property in late January for a few nights. Overall, the service is great!! 1) The property treats Globalist well and I do appreciate that the property upgraded my reservation to a one-bedroom residence that is extremely nice. 2) The food and beverage experience of their main restaurant at the lobby level is great. I did have a buffet dinner one night and a lunch with selection from a la carte menu. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is great. 3) The property does have a Grand Club at the 11/F and it serves beverage all day and evening snacks during the evening. The snacks are quite good from my point of view. 4) The gym has separate entrances to males and females. For the male-only gym, the equipments are sufficient for me to do a great workout with kettlebells, dumbbells, and pull-up bar. 5) There is a spa inside the male-only gym. I did try an 1-hour hot stone massage that I felt great and relaxed after the service, and it worth the price. 6) The hotel has a direct access to a big shopping mall in which there is a CarreFour Hypermarket. 7) The hotel is about 45-minutes Uber ride away from the King Fahd International Airport (DMM).FromAU$283

This is a new hotel and I spent one night here. I love hotels where the staff doesn't bother the guests. The room was very nice, with more than enough towels in the bathroom and lots of hot water. Although it didn't matter, I had a curtained window and there was nothing outside the window. I guess it was an inside room. The breakfast was great, and the free wifi worked great. It was a wonderful stay here. Nice rooms. Good staff. Nice food. We were offering some training courses over successive weeks. The training place and facilities were very good. Breakfast and lunch were lovely. I was there for two weeks with a bunch of colleagues and the access to the executive gym to debrief and relax together after training was good. Warwick Al Khobar is an all suite hotel located off the corniche. There is no valet parking. The outdoor parking lot is located 50m from the hotel which had a lot of trash when I was there( the next morning it was clean). There was no bellboy available when I checked in. The medium sized lobby was cozy, a bit dark and well decorated. There is an outdoor medium size pool (check operating hours) just outside the Sheesha lounge. Check in was fast and professional. The room was a good size with comfortable beds and charging outlets near the bed. The bathroom didn't have a rain shower but had big fluffy towels and good quality amenities. There was a fully stocked mini bar and free bottle water was available. There was a safe and the internet was free and fast. Breakfast selection was average ( dinners are better) with eggs to order, pastries, salads, hot dishes and fresh orange juice. The quality and service was average. Warwick Khobar is a 5 * Hotel but doesn't provide the 5 * experience I expect from this caliber of hotel. No valet service, dirty parking lot, limited bellboy service and average breakfast. It's great, breakfast is good, and sleep is quiet. You must drive in Saudi Arabia. It is not convenient to walk. The biggest mall in the city is just across the street. 5 minutes drive. It's over if you walk. . . . Can't walk through. . . . No one walked. It is a new hotel. The only downside is that there are no windows. Others are full marks. I have been regularly visiting Khobar for business since early 2022 including some extended stays (15-20 days) and all my bookings were made with Staybridge Suites to the point I became an IHG Gold status member. At early stages, the service and facilities were quite good and I was quite happy with the styling, room furniture, staff and environment in general; however, during my last 3 trips (during 2023 and 2024), my perception has changed to negative. - The room service is not as it used to be (missing to change towels/ amenities). - The furniture condition is becoming worse and in some case quite smelly!! - The room smells bad. - Since I stay in different rooms every time, I noticed that some rooms suffer from high noises from either kitchen equipment and / or air conditioning units. Also, external noises (maybe from the elevator area). Although, the hotel still maintain some positive points; however, the scale is tipping towards the negative side. I spent two nights in this hotel. The room is small and fine. The receptionist isn’t professional at all. He doesn’t know how to make you satisfied with the property! And they take a deposit 200 SR. :) the worst thing is that they are too sharp with the check out! They say that you have to be out of the room by 12 pm after that they will charge you with 25% of the one night price, then if you stay more than (I don’t know how many hours) they will charge you with 50% of the original price! “GOD” we are in 2021! أمضيت ليلتين في هذا الفندق. الغرف صغيرة ولكنها جيّدة. موظف الاستقبال غير احترافي أبدا ولا يعرف كيف يجعلك راضيا في إقامتك لديهم! كذلك، يأخذون ٢٠٠ ريال تأمين :). أسوأ ما في الفندق، هو أن المغادرة عندهم لابد أن تكون خارج غرفتك قبل الساعة ١٢ ظهرًا! بعد ذلك إن بقيت لمدة بسيطة ستضطر لدفع ٢٥٪ من قيمة اليوميّة للغرفة لديهم. وإذا بقيت لمدة تزيد عن كذا ساعة (لا أعرف بالضبط كم ساعة) ستضطر لدفع ٥٠٪ من قيمة الغرفة !!! للأسف هذا يحصل ونحن في ٢٠٢١ !!FromAU$132

We booked this resort for an one night stay and that was the worst mistake ever going by the brand name Movenpick. When we entered the resort, there is no sign of Entry and Exit. Just a single security for both gates who asked to use same gate for entry and exit. Once we entered the reception area, no welcome drink (not even water ) or greeting of guest was done. Once we got the keys, the room service / helper wasnt even called to carry the luggage bag to the villa. Imagine you pay 1800sar per night and you are left deserted and the resort calls themself “5star” We carried our own luggage and went inside to notice hot water not functional, rusted appliances, dusty carpets and moldy ac vent and also moldy corners in the washroom, curtains not available on the curtain hooks of the master bedroom bathtub. Stained floors everywhere, completed zero maintained property. Accepting our mistake booking this resort, we still wanted to have a pleasant stay. Went to the beach area but shocked to see a small portion like pond called to be private beach area. And not to mention, super expensive rates for accessing cycles , motorboat and jetski . Outdoor pool was not temperature control so was completely unavailable to access. Finally back to the villa for the night, only to experience that there was no hot water coming in all washroom and kitchen. And all kids experiencing rashes and ichiness playing in sand. Finally kids bathed in cold water after waiting almost like 45mins for hot water. Only to notice that the hotwater main switch was switched off at the main electrical box. Despite the complaint, about hotwater in the kitchen area. The person said wait and he would come back to rectify in 10mins but it was 9pm already and had to call back receptionist asking for room change. They sent another technician to repair the taps for hotwater creating uncomfortable environment with no privacy until 10.00 pm.. for almost an hour technicians were working in the villa. Post dinner and board games , when entered the master bedroom was shocked to find ac not functional at 11.45 pm had to open the doors and switch on the ac from the common area and make the room cooler. Next morning kids got sick due to dust and molds and got nose block and my son left with severe rashes now on tropical ointments to cure his rashes. Overall it was a nightmare. First of all, the water pressure is too weak, so the toilet flows well and the shower comes out well. There are no outlets for foreigners, only Saudi Arabia, so it is inconvenient for foreigners to use and there are no outlets at the front. I stayed in room 105, but my phone was broken and there was no vacuum cleaner, so I had very, very long hair on the shower towel, a sticker with soap dang behind the bathroom door, food stains in the refrigerator, and some stickers on the front of the TV in the living room. I asked for a Saudi-style charger for charging my phone, but it was not accepted and the water was a bit dirty, but it was good because it was a private beach. The staff are friendly, but the resort is not convenient for foreigners to use. There was sputum floating in the pool water, and plastic bags flying in the seawater. It was worth it though. The location was good, the staff was good, and the view was good.FromAU$223

The location is excellent across from Al Rashid mall with plenty to do there and always an eager taxi to take you around. The Good The bell boys are attentive and the man working the desk is very accommodating. Very clean and shiny everything. The hallways are a little worn for some reason and the carpet. The over sized room was beautiful and clean. Very nice. The not so good. Weird room service only breakfast and lunch menu. The girls behind the desk in the lobby could not be any more rude if they tried. I believe it in my heart, they were actually trying to be as rude as humanly possible.FromAU$80

Very good hotel, great location, clean facilities and housekeeping staff are friendly. However, their automated call system doesn't work (I was calling from UAE), I couldn't get in touch with anyone before arriving.
Swimming pool timings are NOT business friendly (from 9am-6pm). Toilet is not the most comfortable, as the shower doesn't have a closure (or a door) so water was all around after the shower. And the water flow from the sink is extremely slowl, I had to remove the nozzle to get a good flow.FromAU$96

I booked a double room for the last two nights, because of business needs, I booked another night of a big bed room. The front desk told me to give you a room that will satisfy you. 305, I went upstairs and found the room next to the elevator. When I thought it was over, I was shocked to push the door. The room was too luxurious. I thought I was over the standard. Hurry to see my reservation, long breath. The rooms are inside and outside, the outer hall is large, and the inner and outer halls are separated by doors. The inner hall is all available! Happy stay trip.FromAU$104

Resort place and location was good and has good parking area and room price and size is good. The toilet is the important part of the room which need to be renovation and fixed, it look bad , also there is no hot water in the kitchen, which if I need to was anything during winter time I need to use cold water. I think if they will renovate the toilet I may book again. In addition the room service guy didn't bring all the item we ask untill we give him tips, and there is no instructions of the snacks that are free or paid in the roomFromAU$88
