Great location, close to the train station and the city's main attractions. There's a tram stop nearby, and you can be in the museum district in just 10 minutes. We were able to check in earlier than expected, and the room looked just like the pictures. It was clean, but very basic – no slippers or tissues. This is the first time I've stayed in a 4-star hotel room without cups (just glasses) and teaspoons (just wooden stirrers). Instant coffee in the room for a 4-star hotel is pretty underwhelming; usually, at this level, you get pour-over coffee or a Nespresso machine. The price is high, but for the same money, you'd get a much higher standard in a 4-star hotel in neighboring Belgium.

Location is great! with walking distance to Museums and main shopping and dining areas of Amsterdam. Nearest tram is Museumplein, and about 5-10mins walk. Room was small and toilet was quite tight, with basic shampoo and shower gel only, but spending most time outdoor exploring it didn’t matter much. Bed was comfortable and warm for the winter - opened the windows for better ventilation, overall good. They have an elevator, that helps bringing luggages easier to upper floors.

This is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go.

Overall experience was great, one of the late morning check-in male staff was really welcoming and even upgraded me to a higher floor with a fantastic view of the river. But since the checkin is 3pm, when I got back, another burlier guy got us our keys but was way too serious and sombre. It's fine but a smile would go a long way. One tiny irk was the lack of bedroom slippers in a carpeted room. I feel it should be basic. And this is the one time I didn't bring a just-in-case pair and i was caught out. Anyway, location is good, tram connection to the Centraal Station just across the street or a 10min walk.

At this hotel, Kennis at the front desk was the only one who was the most warm and polite 👍🏽 He was very kind to my daughter, and for two days in a row, no matter how busy he was, he would immediately stop what he was doing, rush into the staff room, and bring a little gift back for my daughter. There are many hotels here that don’t include free parking, and some are said to include it on travel sites, but after reading the reviews, it turns out there’s actually a parking fee. I’ve already done all my research, and even trip.com clearly says this Holiday Inn includes free parking. At check-in, I was told there would be a charge, but another staff member said it was free. Then at check-out, they suddenly said there would be a charge again, but in the end it was free. It was quite confusing. I also didn’t feel very safe. While I was asleep, it was very noisy outside the room. It sounded like people coming back after drinking, repeatedly pressing our doorbell and trying the handle to open the door. Luckily, I had the door double-locked and had also pushed a chair against it. The hotel explained that they may have pressed the wrong room by mistake and were not trying to get in to steal anything 🤔 Free breakfast at the hotel, but it was absolutely packed! The cutlery was really dirty, and I reckon they couldn’t get it washed in time. Also, they didn’t check any guest details at all, so it felt like people from the street next door could just walk in and eat without anyone noticing. There are food markets and budget supermarkets next to the hotel. A free ferry to and from the city centre is about a 10-minute walk away, with frequent services and a journey time of around 2 minutes.的

My overall experience staying at this hotel in Amsterdam was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near Amsterdam Noord station, making it easy to access after exiting the station. Plenty of space in the room. Had a window, but 2/3 looked into a wall, and remainder looked at stairs and railings, so felt a bit like a dungeon. One small elevator made up/down travel a little slow during busy times, but at least they had an elevator. Many smokers gathered right at the main entrance despite the non-smoking signs, making if miserable when waiting for cabs and coming/going. Had two issues when we arrived in the room, no hand soap and room phone not working, but both addressed very quickly. We stayed three nights and did not receive a room cleaning (as per policy but could have requested one. We had two single beds that were pushed together to make a king, both had mattress toppers which weren't fantastic. One bed was definitely newer than the other. Beds spread apart with very little movement creating an open divide between them, making...umm...intimate moments...extremely challenging! We found everything placed awkwardly, and if we ever stay here again my wife said we'd bring suction-cup hooks as there was only one towel hook in the bathroom. Overall, a decent stay, but of 9 hotels stayed in on this trip, the worst bed situation by far.

The first impression of the hotel is quite favorable: it's a modern high-rise building, check-in is very quick, the rooms are decorated in the currently fashionable ”industrial” style, and the views from the window are beautiful. However, after a while, you notice some drawbacks. First and foremost: the hotel takes a hefty 150-euro deposit upon check-in. It's understandable that the hotel is concerned about the safety of the rooms, but for that kind of money, you'd expect luxurious furnishings. What you end up with are ”basic amenities.” There are no slippers, no robes, no conditioner for washing hair, not even proper ceramic cups for hot drinks. The overall impression is that the hotel isn't a 4-star (as advertised). It's a ”good 3-star.”

The room was good, and the bar downstairs (which is also the breakfast area) was lively with an event, but I was too tired to join. Breakfast was excellent with a great atmosphere, and I also rented a hotel bike to cycle around.

The hostel is huge. It mainly hosts young people and school groups. Nevertheless, they manage to keep it clean! You can only pay by card for everything there! Towels cost extra. The front desk staff are friendly: they helped me check in and store my suitcase in the luggage room. They have a huge dining area where breakfast is served – it's good, and the coffee is excellent. You can eat your own food there at other times of the day. But! There's no microwave!!! There's a hot water dispenser, which was cold or empty exactly when I needed it most)) Bring shower sandals. In the quadruple room with a bathroom, water would flood the entire floor – that's just how the shower is designed there. The stained-glass windows on every floor are beautiful!!!!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right across from the train station, and within walking distance to the old town and [***]. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, and the front desk staff (pictured in photo 9) provided exceptionally great service. With a gym and pool, it's definitely a top-tier four-star hotel, even surpassing many five-star hotels in Europe. The only minor drawback was that during our three-day stay, the room cleaning staff did a superficial job and the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned.

It’s a very pleasant experience staying with the Muse Hotel. The counter staff - Teethor was extremely helpful and friendly. I particularly appreciate him for letting me check in earlier and helping me with checking the room details. The room was very clean, with everything I needed. What I loved was past of the window can be opened a bit— to let fresh air in, good circulation in the room. The location is great as the bus stop is about 2mins walking distance , from where one can take bus 12 to the main tourist sites including the Royal Palace, Old Church and Central station etc. And one can take direct bus 397 from the airport to the hotel. In addition, the cat at the hotel is cute and quiet. Highly recommend the hotel to visitors who’d visit Amsterdam.

This hotel is a great value, especially compared to the expensive options near Amsterdam Centraal. It's super close to Sloterdijk Station, and if you have a Eurail Pass, the train ride is free! The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with excellent ventilation and natural light. Breakfast, while not a huge variety, was very good quality. I'd suggest adding conditioner to the amenities. On the downside, the front desk staff seemed a bit stiff, and a housekeeper knocked on my door early on checkout day, which was disruptive. I hope they can improve their service.

Overall, this was a great stay. The staff were lovely, the rooms were neat and tidy, the amenities were great. We didn’t take advantage of the rooftop in the evening but they did have a rooftop cinema evening which seemed cool whilst the breakfast also was very good. The gym was brand new which was great and the sauna although red light and not as hot as it could be was fine and clean. The views in the room were incredible and access into the CBD was easy to use the tram (tap on and off with your card). Little further out than I would have liked for the city but being there a few days meant we could explore more. They had lots going on and many people to help.

This was a really great hotel. I did my research and it was the best value for money in Amsterdam. It's right next to the Sloterdijk station, just 5 minutes by train to Amsterdam city center and 7-10 minutes to the airport. There are supermarkets next to the hotel. The staff were very helpful, and the cleanliness and room comfort were excellent. The breakfast was very varied and delicious. I definitely recommend it; if I go again, I'll definitely stay here.

Excellent room, excellent location and atmosphere of the hotel. Staff however, too often, go according to the 'book', and find it hard to think and improvise on the spot. It's as if they are under trained. When checking in there is no need to ask the guest to fill info on the iPad. You have this info, to stay in touch, already. Don't burden the weary traveler with trivial nonsense. If the sun shines, finally after weeks of grey and rain, and a guest sees the patio with tables in the sun, and this guest wants to have tea in the sun outside in the patio, this has to be a possibility. Don't say, well it's not the season so it's closed, it doesn't make sense, you're a top hotel, not the vander Valk. Improvise, think on your feet, explain that he is welcome to sit there and that his tea will be brought out, but it might take a few minutes longer. This way the guest feels listened to and that the moon is even possible. The kitchen is incredible, the food is wonderful. Last evening I had dinner at the Jansz., two ladies working, were very kind, helpful and attentive, they understood the delicate balance between asking how things are going and leaving the guest alone. I want them to know i appreciate them. Please extend my gratitude to them. Also the Asian looking lady who worked during breakfast this morning, was excellent. Please let her know as well. Finally, the staff at the entrance - getting cabs etc. - are great. Some of the male staff are too - in Dutch, popy yoopy. I am your guest and not your friend. That's all, and that's enough. This was by far the most satisfying hotel on our trip to Europe. The facilities were perfect, and unlike most places in Europe where you pay for everything, this hotel provided a complimentary still water and a sparkling water bottle daily. The executive lounge room type was incredibly affordable. We could grab a soft drink before heading out and upon returning, and they even offered free Japanese beer and some snacks. I thought the breakfast at the lounge in the mornings was quite good too – perfect for a quick bite if you can't make it to regular breakfast. Plus, the lounge view was fantastic! 👍

This hotel was a wonderful choice for a short visit to Amsterdam. It's an excellent location for walking or tram to most anywhere you would visit. The rooms were compact, but quiet & clean with comfy beds. The included breakfast was substantial with high quality food and coffees, but the best part was the very friendly and accommodating staff, especially concierge Nina. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the first time in my life that I have given a one-star negative review after staying in hundreds of hotels. 1. No one will check you in 2. The only way to contact them is to call them via the Netherlands +31 international number 3. No way to make international calls? Congratulations, ** 4. I desperately searched for various methods on the Internet (the temperature was 9 degrees and it was raining), and finally found out on Airbnb that they have a ”Contact Host” function to find someone. 5. Comfortable experience staying at The Bee Hostel. Despite there being 20 or 24 beds in the room, I did not feel claustrophobic at all. I appreciate that there are curtains, which give you plenty of privacy if you do not feel like socialising. The bathrooms and bedding were pretty clean. There is also a tram that stops right around the corner of the hostel that goes straight to Amsterdam Central Train Station. The staff were lovely and friendly, keycard gives you access to the hostel after 5pm/ your hostel room/ your locker. I would highly recommend The Bee Hostel for a clean and pleasant stay in Amsterdam.

It was my first ever stay with any Ibis hotel. There is a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel which is convenient. They say that check in is available after 15:00 but they let us use the room before 14.:00. The room was good but the central AC was not working there so we upgraded the room in €15 for two nights to their AC room. Although they do mention at the booking that the room will have AC/heating. But the system was not working as they said due to repair so for our ease we upgraded our room. They did offer a great price for an upgrade which is good. I enjoyed their breakfast as well which was fresh and tasty. The cleanliness of the place was amazing and we had a really good sleep.

Very happy with our four night stay. Modern hotel with new facilities, Bathroom with very good shower, toilet, hair dryer vanity basin. Climate control worked perfectly. Comfortable bed with choice of pillows. WiFi was very efficient. Breakfast was Cafe Style with good choices, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, baked beans, cut up fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, humus and other dips, cut up fresh fruit and choice of yoghurts. Different hams, Salamis and sliced meats. Baskets of different breads and fresh rolls and baskets of seasonal fruits. Choice of Danish Pastries. Coffee Machine with choice of coffee styles. Choice of Juices a bit on the sweet side. Staff very professional, helpful and friendly.Seven minute walk to Albert Heijm Supermarket, and few more minutes walk to Ikea. Coffee and tea provided with kettle.

The design is the best I have seen so far, I am a budget traveler and I come here with my friend. Even though the room is really small and no window (it's so small that I cannot count it as one, even it cannot be opened) we had pleasant stay there. In my opinion up til three nights are enough, more than that I cannot really recommend. My friend and me are small sized person maybe for taller people it might feel like beautiful prison there. I meant it, BEAUTIFUL! One thing to work on: the air circulation, there's only one van. We need to open the door before we sleep or when we wake up and get ready. Other than that the staffs are really helpful!! And the bed is super clean, bed bugs free YAY.

The location is excellent, right next to Amsterdam Central Station. It's less than a 20-minute train ride from Schiphol Airport, and then just a five-minute walk. The staff are warm and helpful ♥️. The room is small, but it has all the basic amenities. For those of us who are used to bringing our own toothbrushes, slippers, and facial cleanser, it's no problem at all! There's even a canal view from the window. The only thing I think could be improved is the breakfast—the selection is limited and the taste is just so-so.

The place was clean and comfy. Tge hotel was surrounded with Restaurants, parks, there is a convenient store around the corner and near the metro stations and bus stop. Very accessible for people who' s going to travel via sloterdijk. The personels are nice.

Location of the hotel was great. It was a walking distance to the nearest bus stop, and there is a McDonald’s beside the hotel too. There’s free airport shuttle service which made it very convenient to travel to the airport. Room was clean and there’s a gym too.
