Pros: beach front, easy access to the beach, tranquility around the lounge beach chairs. Friendly staff Cons: hotel is dated, shower was too small. There were cucarachas coming off the AC vents. Staff came to address it right away, however. There are not elevators and it is difficult to bring luggage to 2nd and 3rd floors. The place was not design for people with mobility issues. Also people are allowed with dogs unleashed. One small dog came after me. When I approach the dog’s owner to ask if he could put his dog on a leash, he became belligerent, disrespectful, and a kind of racist. The hotel staff watched and did nothing. When I ask for the manager to complaint I was told she was on vacation (?) when I ask for whoever was in charge, I was also told that person was also unavailable. It was frustrating and disappointing as that was a safety issue that remained unaddressed.

Die Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und man fühlt sich sehr wohl in der Anlage, es gibt genügend Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme um sich an der Poolanlage zu erholen. Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und freundlich eingerichtet das Bett ist sehr groß und man hat einen großen Schrank mit Spiegel im Zimmer. Es gibt eine Terrasse oder Balkon pro Zimmer. Im Bad gibt es immer warmes Wasser zum Duschen.

There are few times, if ever, that there is any actual need to share the pavillion.Private Oceanfront Hot Tub For 4!WHEN DECIDING ON WHICH VILLA TO RENT, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THE VILLA HAS A DIESEL GENERATOR BACK UP POWER AND AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH. THIS VILLA DOES.IT IS A SIGNIFICANT EXPENSE TO INSTALL A 20 KW DIESEL GENERATOR AND MAINTAIN IT IN GOOD OPERATING CONDITION, SO, MANY VILLAS RELY ONLY UPON BATTERIES AND INVERTERS OR LITTLE PORTABLE GENERATORS THAT DIE AFTER AN HOUR RUNNING AND CAN NOT RUN THE AIR CONDITIONING. A location that just can’t be beat is the best way to describe our house. A newly built villa that's located just 30 min from Puerto Plata International Airport within the gated property of Millenium Resort and Spa. Transport to the Villa can be arranged for your arrival and departure. Once there, it is a short 3 min walk(280 steps to be exact) to the beach where the water sports for which Cabarete is known are taking place. Walk another 1/2 km down the beach and you are in the heart of the small town Cabarete where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars to entertain you day and night. You can skip the rental car because almost everything you need is within walking distance to the Villa. Vagamundo Coffee and Waffles for breakfast, Mambo fish tacos for lunch at Gorditos and Yalla for late afternoon tapas and cocktails at the Millenium pool. All of this and more is located with in a very tight radius of the villa. Feeling a little adventurous? Walk a little farther into town to El Callejón for a great selection of local fare. Don’t feel like eating out? La Rosa Supermercado is located across the main road from the Villa. It’s a small, but very effective, locally owned grocery store with all the basics necessities you could ask for. They also carry a decent selection of liquor, beer and wine.The Villa’s location is ideal for wind sports as the primary launch for Playa Cabarete is the same beach access mentioned above from the villa. You can hear the ocean waves from the house, which is only steps from the beautiful, golden-sand beach of Cabarete Bay with palm trees for shade if you wish, if not there is plenty of sun! The village of Cabarete is spread out across the center of a gorgeous, semi-circular beach. We a very short walk away from beautiful restaurants and bars which are scattered along the beach of Cabarete Bay .The distance to Cabarete's main section is close enough for convenience but just the right distance away for enjoying the tranquility that Bahia de Arena offers. You may have heard a lot about the Dominican Republic lately in the New York Times, CNN and many other nationally syndicated publications, it is being touted as the next undiscovered hotspot. Well, I can tell you that it is being discovered but it is still very affordable and not crowded. Pros: beach front, easy access to the beach, tranquility around the lounge beach chairs. Friendly staff Cons: hotel is dated, shower was too small. There were cucarachas coming off the AC vents. Staff came to address it right away, however. There are not elevators and it is difficult to bring luggage to 2nd and 3rd floors. The place was not design for people with mobility issues. Also people are allowed with dogs unleashed. One small dog came after me. When I approach the dog’s owner to ask if he could put his dog on a leash, he became belligerent, disrespectful, and a kind of racist. The hotel staff watched and did nothing. When I ask for the manager to complaint I was told she was on vacation (?) when I ask for whoever was in charge, I was also told that person was also unavailable. It was frustrating and disappointing as that was a safety issue that remained unaddressed.

The hotel was incredible, and the staff were very careful, the only thing is that it is quite far from the center of Puerto Plata and the airport. In terms of very good place. (PD: There is little offer of Uber ) If you go and there is an Uber called Ever, it is the betterr ＜3

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Ort Cabarete man kann alles gut zu Fuß erreichen, Cafés, Restaurant, Bars und den langen Sandstrand. Das Hotel hat zwei Pools und ein Whirlpool. Die Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und man fühlt sich sehr wohl in der Anlage, es gibt genügend Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme um sich an der Poolanlage zu erholen. Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und freundlich eingerichtet das Bett ist sehr groß und man hat einen großen Schrank mit Spiegel im Zimmer. Es gibt eine Terrasse oder Balkon pro Zimmer. Im Bad gibt es immer warmes Wasser zum Duschen.
