The chalet was nice. Just felt the hotel is showing its age and it is overdue for a facelift. Also the beachfront was a major disappointment. What could have been a highlight of the stay was instead marred by trash — bottles, plastics, and debris scattered along the sand. It detracted from the natural beauty and made it difficult to enjoy the seaside atmosphere.

📍Grand Lexis Port Dickson, Batu 2, Jalan Seremban, 71000 Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. Rooms: 2 units of Grand Garden Pool Villa Upper Unit (upgraded from Garden Pool Villa upper unit), suitable for 4 people each. Stay: 2D1N We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Lexis in the Grand Garden Pool Villa. The villa was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained, offering a perfect mix of luxury and comfort. The standout feature was the private indoor pool. It was large, pristine, and provided an ideal private space away from the crowds. The room amenities were excellent, with very comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom, featuring separate toilet and shower. The staff were very friendly, and the buggy service made exploring the resort quick and easy. Parking was conveniently located just a few meters from our unit. The public beach was within walking distance of the main building. The breakfast offered a good variety of fresh options. You can choose between indoor or outdoor dining. Overall, it’s highly recommended for a peaceful, relaxing retreat with family!

Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I found the facilities to be just average and not particularly impressive. For a 5-star hotel, I would expect the room amenities to be in much better condition. I would suggest that the hotel review and upgrade some of the in-room amenities, particularly the towels, iron, and ironing board. The towels appeared old and worn out, while the iron had a damaged power cord, which could be a safety concern. Plus, the bathroom had an unpleasant and disgusting odor throughout my stay, which significantly affected the overall comfort and cleanliness of the room. This was disappointing, especially considering the hotel's 5-star rating. These issues do not reflect the standards expected of a 5-star hotel. I hope the hotel management will look into these matters seriously and take the necessary steps to improve the overall guest experience.

We stayed in this hotel many times. It is in a good location and beautiful looking. However, during this visit we first checked into the Executive Room and it was not satisfactory. There was a smell in the room and aircon wasn't working well. Air con was dirty and lacking gas air, the maintenance had to clean and pump gas. Shower was rain shower type, we were not comfortable to use that. Design of the room was old fashioned too. Staff of the hotel were very friendly, polite and helpful. They helped us shift to Superior Room where we had stayed before. It was much better. We can see that some of the furniture especially the chairs and sofa was a bit worn out. The liquid bath soap in the bathroom had finished, and I had to use my own liquid. We strongly feel that hotel should ensure regular and proper maintenance, and if possible invest in some newer furniture. Overall we were happy with the environment, the staff, car park facilities and had good fun at the Sailor's Drink Shop.

friendly staff at counter front office. big pool but dirty. No towel in room after check in. Need to call housekeeping to ask towel. Then they send towel after 1 hour, maybe not enough spare. 11.30am before checkout, someone already knock the door to ask return dirty towel.just to mention, this apartment only have 1 lift to share one block F. Imagine during checkout, all people que to use lift to go down.

I stayed here on the second day of Raya. Although the check-in time was 3:00 PM, I arrived at 4:30 PM and my room was still not ready. The staff asked me to wait for another 30 minutes, which was quite disappointing. The location is good, as it is near the waterfront area and surrounded by many convenient shops such as ZUS Coffee, McDonald’s, Mr. DIY, and TF Value-Mart. I booked the Premier Suite with one bedroom. Since there was also a queen bed outside the room area, it would be better if the hotel could provide a simple wardrobe or at least a place to hang clothes there. The room itself was clean, but there was a strong smell, similar to pest control spray. It was quite disturbing, and I ended up going to the supermarket in front of the hotel to buy Ambi Pure. Breakfast was just ok. Lift quite slow. On the positive side, the hotel is close to the beach and offers a really nice sunset view.

Thanks to the Ancasa staff! We got a room with a beautiful view and it was super comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay here. The pool was open until 10 PM, so we could still swim even though we arrived late. My only suggestion would be to offer more variety at breakfast. For example, adding salads and noodles, and more drink options too. Thanks, Ancasa!

Hotel is well situated along the main road. However its next to a construction site, and there was also repair work going on in hotel itself. Restaurant was closed off. Although there was hardly anyone staying at the hotel when I arrived, being off peak day, and rooms were available, the hotel still wouldn't allow even an hour earlier check in. Still had to wait till 3pm. No flexibility.

Port Dikson is an old town with lots of stires closed and nothing to do, unfortunately. We had 7 nights payed but stayed only 2 and got back to Kuala Lumpur. Stayed at Langit Langi Hotel PD over the weekend. The hotel location was easy to find, right beside the main road and directly in front of a Petronas station and PD Hotel. Parking was mostly available during the weekend and the area felt safe. Check-in process was smooth and fast. I only needed to provide my booking details and IC for verification, then paid RM50 room deposit and RM4 local charge. In less than 10 minutes, I received the room key. The room condition was generally acceptable, but the actual experience did not fully match what was advertised on Trip.com. The room view and overall feel were slightly different from the photos shown. A few things that could be improved: - The floor was slightly dusty. - The room had a weird smell at first, probably because it had been unoccupied for some time. - No hair dryer was provided even though it was mentioned on Trip.com. - Iron was available, but it was shared outside the room for the whole floor. - The listing showed a bathtub, but our room did not have one. - Aircond took quite a while to cool the room. On the positive side, basic toiletries were provided including toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet tissue, and shower gel. The biggest issue for me was the soundproofing. I actually read reviews about this beforehand but still decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, you can clearly hear vehicles from the main road throughout the night. What surprised me the most was the sound of the washing machine running almost nonstop from night until midday. It honestly felt like sleeping above a laundry room, and it did interrupt my sleep. Other than that, everything else was generally okay for a short stay.

Booked a room with 2 queen beds and the room was located at the back of the building facing the bushes. Quite scary too. It was a spacious room but there was a heavy odor of the cockroach. Mulfunctioning toilet flush button and we had to lift the heavy cover. I've reported the issue and the maintenance came to my room after we went out due to a long wait. Maybe the room hasn't been used for quite a long time. Hopefully Seri Malaysia will improve its services in the future.

Cleanliness of the room is ok but can be better. I think during night time, the front desk admin should stay at the desk instead of sleeping at the back room, because it’s a hassle to go out in early morning (4am) as I have to call the number and then wait in the dark outside of the hotel. What’s more I am a solo traveller. One more thing is that the lift is super slow, and when you get off from the lift, there’s no corridor lights!! At night! I am super scared of this situation that I have to ensure I videocall someone while walking to my room, luckily my room is near the lift lah.

You need to contact in advance to check in. It is not the hotel front desk that does the check-in. You will know the room number after you contact them. They are Malays. Due to the language barrier, a translator is needed to handle it. The hygiene is average and the facilities are relatively old. The beach environment is average and there are more people on Saturdays.

Upon checking in, a hotel staff member collected a deposit of 200 Malaysian Ringgits from us. She handed over the keys and even took a photo of the money alongside the keys as proof of receiving the deposit. Now, when we requested the deposit back, we are being told that the money was allegedly never paid. Furthermore, we are being asked to check out earlier than the agreed time. We consider this situation unacceptable and extremely unpleasant. The deposit was handed over directly to the staff member upon check-in, and this fact can be corroborated by the photo taken by the staff themselves. We kindly request that this matter be investigated, our deposit be fully refunded, and that the terms of our stay, including the official check-out time, be honored.

We had a family vacation here and booked a 3-bedroom apartment for our family. The Superior King Room was excellent — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with an iron, kettle, toothbrushes, and even a prayer mat. The 3-bedroom apartment was very spacious. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and the living hall was huge, making it perfect for a family stay. The pool was very entertaining for the kids, especially with the water slides. The beach is just a short walk away from the resort. There were also plenty of activities such as table tennis, carrom, and swings, all with a beautiful beach view. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food, and everything was delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place for families with children.

I recently stayed at Thistle Hotel Port Dickson, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing due to several service and management issues. The first problem was the check-in process. It took almost 50 minutes to check in, which is far too long. Even worse, there was no air conditioning in the lobby, so guests had to stand in a hot and uncomfortable environment while waiting in the queue. The room amenities were also inadequate. The bathroom only provided a 100ml bottle of shampoo and shower gel, which was not enough for guests who wanted to shower multiple times during their stay. The most frustrating issue was the infinity pool. The hotel indicated that the pool was open, but when we arrived, there was only a notice saying the pool was closed because no lifeguard was on duty. When I called the front desk to ask when the lifeguard would return, I was told the pool had actually been closed for a long time due to maintenance. This explanation was very confusing because on the evening we checked in, we saw guests using the pool, and the poolside food and beverage service was operating as usual. The following morning, the pool was suddenly closed. If the pool had really been under long-term maintenance, why wasn't the area blocked off properly or a maintenance notice displayed? Instead, the notice only stated that the pool was closed because no lifeguard was available. The inconsistent information and poor communication were unacceptable. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The service was very poor. Dirty plates were not cleared promptly, and we had to ask several times before staff came to clear the table. Food trays were frequently empty and not refilled in a timely manner—I had to return three times before I could finally get some of the items I wanted. The egg station was another example of inconsistent service. When my mother requested sunny-side-up eggs, the staff told her they only served omelettes. However, when I went to ask again, the same staff immediately agreed to cook sunny-side-up eggs. This inconsistency was confusing and reflected poorly on the staff's service standards. Overall, while the hotel has good facilities and potential, the slow check-in process, poor communication, inadequate amenities, and below-average breakfast service made this stay disappointing. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves both their customer service and operational standards.
