Where do I begin? Travelling with a toddler is no easy task, and the team at Taj Connemara made it worthwhile, smooth, and exciting. It all began with Ms Jasmine who religiously followed up with all our requests and requirements for childproofing the Heritage Room we stayed. From additional mineral water bottles, bumpers on furniture, soft toys for bath, and an excellent baby cot, Ms Jasmine coordinated with her ground team and got everything ready before we checked in. The icing on the cake was the remarkable welcome gift for our daughter consisting of excellent baby skincare products from an established brand.  The stay itself was fantastic with a cosy room, abundance of toiletries, and exceptional breakfast. Shoutout to Mr Baskaran for attending to all our breakfast requests for our daughter. The baby dosa was a hit!  Located in a prime spot in Chennai next to Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall, Taj Connemara is strategic. Travel to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores was made easy.  Last but not least, the hospitality and polite service offered by the staff of Taj Connemara was nothing short of amazing. They made our short trip to Chennai a memorable one and we look forward to coming again very soon!  Kudos to everyone at Taj Connemara for ensuring my family and I have a great time at your hotel.  Regards,  Linges

The apartment is very convenient, it may take a long time to build and the facilities are not very new. The service staff is very enthusiastic, helping to get luggage, deliver things, check in and check out quickly. The restaurant is on the first floor, and the taste from the lobby to the entrance of the restaurant is too Indian. Breakfast is ok, because I usually only make oat milk, I do n’t eat Indian meals and do n’t comment on the taste. The service attitude is very good and very welcoming. The emphasis is on exaggerating the Asian restaurants in the same courtyard. The names are shown in the picture. The environment is very good. Recommend beef and chicken wings, according to their own requirements of spicy degree, more in line with my taste. Tiramisu is fine too. Overall satisfaction.

The front office is friendly. Fast check is in check.. Security was good with Siraj, very attentive to checking, felt safe. Breakfast was not too bad, can be better. The egg specials were very good. Housekeeping guys were polite and good at their work, too. Besides that, they have kept the rooms very clean and tidy. They provide water in refill bottles, like their sustainability efforts around the hotel. With construction nearby, the room remained silent. In room dining is tasty. Tours can be arranged for a good price. Value for money. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Mosquitoes everywhere. 4. We had to request for mosquito repellent. The hotel staff should be more attentive and ensure rooms are stocked with essentials. 5. The food we ordered for in-room dining was not even warm (forget hot food). We only ordered some fries and a sandwich - not sure if the fries were prepared and shipped from France 😂 Will never opt this place again.

The bedding, floor, and the room in general were clean. The location was also very close to the bustling downtown area. As a beer lover, I appreciated having an alcohol store nearby. The downsides were that the water wasn't hot, only lukewarm, the sink drainpipe was detached and leaked directly onto the floor, and there was no shower. However, Chennai in May is scorching, so I didn't mind the lukewarm water at all. Overall, I'm satisfied!

The location is perfect, close to OMR, ECR, and easy access to city. The hotel is immaculate with beautiful aroma while entering. The rooms are really large 484ft². If you are smokers, you would need to upgrade to a balcony room as the property is a non-smoking environment. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the sheets are perfect. Each room has a comfortable couch for a work station. The kitchenette is available to use at an additional 3000 inr extra. The dishwasher is available for use. Bathroom is very spacious, and not to mention TAJ Soaps.. Pool, Gymnasium, steam and sauna are complimentary.

I stayed at the hotel from 29 May 2026 to 7 Jun 2026. Except for an unpleasant encounter with the gym staff who tailed me from the gym to the sauna/changing area on 1 Jun, I was always greeted with a bright smile and respect from the moment I set foot at the front entrance until I entered my room. I would particularly like to commend the doormen Ilayarajah, Yuvi and Loganathan, the catering team John and his team members Subbu, Suresh, Siva and Vinoth as well as Venkat and his concierge team. Regarding the gym incident, I was visiting birding sites for my Chennai trip so had to carry a big backpack for my Sony camera and sufficient water supply for the very warm weather. On the above-mentioned day, I had returned a little earlier in the evening and headed straight to the gym in my birding gear. I was annoyed when the gym staff tailed me to the sauna area and left to tell the Guest Relations Staff at the Lobby.

We congratulate Leela for having such brilliant staff! That's what makes the hotel stands out from other high end competitors. Even though the hotel was fully booked and very busy at the time, we were warmly welcomed from the moment we stepped down from the car. The gentleman who checked us in, Mr. Shantanu, Ms. Supra at Concierge, Nayansi, the manager at the India Restaurant... and many more whose name we were unable to remember, made us feel like some sort of noble or important persons, and all that was done from the bottom of their heart with genuine warmness...we use to stay at Peninsular, Four Seasons, Aman and the like when we went on holidays. They are not available in Chennai but we must say Leela offers even better services than our usual choices. The hotel itself is very well-maintained and classy. The pool is resort-feel even though it is in the city. The free spa facilities are very generous with many indoor jacuzzi, suana and herbal steam. We are very impressed. Thank you for ending our Easter holidays in South India perfectly!!

The driver waited for us more than 2 hours to receive the hotel, about 90 yuan, very good! The only misfortune was that insects gathered all over my closet wall on the 2nd day. So room and lobby were so clean and with good smell and the staff was so friendly to help. I would recommend to those who visited India for the first time and try their breakfast to enjoy a little bit of Chennai's special dish like Idli.

A very ordinary hotel IMO!! The pillows had molds. The room service was prompt though. Breakfast buffet spread was pretty decent and tasty. If you are looking for a five star experience within your conservative budget, try The Accord Metropolitan in T Nagar.

My stay in Oasis hotel from 7-10/10.Hotel , staffs very helpful, friendly and approachable. frontline, to servers, smart, clean and well dressed. Hotel looks new and pleasing.Setup beautiful.Rms were ,clean, tidy ,neat on arrival. Food thou vegetarian and catered outside as i heard was excellent everyday which i look forward to, coffee was super. Only comment, housekeeping service like making up beds, rm cleaning , and topping up of water, toiletries, beverages, daily could be done on time. 🙏🏽for our 4 days stay in You’re hotel a memorable one..

The room is a total disappointment. Check in on 3-June-2026 for room 2066 (not to sure), change to 1004 and on 5th night, change again to 1020 due to beeping noise as the door is unable to close properly. My colleagues, Rasal PM and Muhamed Ali (2064 to 2020) either have only hot water and disappointing room.

I stayed at this hotel yesterday as well. However, this time I faced an issue with the Wi-Fi service. I booked the room from 12:00 PM to 11:00 AM the next day, but the Wi-Fi password provided was only valid for a few hours. After some time, when I tried to reconnect, it showed that the Wi-Fi password had expired. The hotel should provide valid Wi-Fi access for the entire stay duration.

It belongs to the nature of the resort. It is next to the big beach. The waves are very big. You can play in the water. In the evening, the breeze is cool. It is very comfortable. It is far from the main city. If you want to watch the sea, it is a good place. In addition, there is no traffic jam from the airport. Breakfast is not generally good

Wonderful hotel with a peaceful atmosphere inside …The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. The hotel is conveniently located near the temple, making it a perfect place to stay for visitors. I would definitely stay here again.
