Our butler, Alan, provided excellent service. The hotel's location is generally good, and some room types even offer views of the Potala Palace. They provide complimentary fruit and yogurt, and there's a turndown service where they make the bed and arrange your shoes. One of the best stayings in my 10 days trip in Tibet! Staff greets us with a warm ******* Herbal Tea with a welcoming scarf and warm towels to warm us up. Friendly staff was helpful and efficient during check in.
Room was spacious and clean. More than enough quality amenities were supplied. Comfortable bed for good sleep and most importantly sufficient and steady oxygen can be supplied by the hotel. Humidifier was also one of the best we encountered throughout the whole trip. Absolutely loving the traditional Chinese style room and hotel design that doesn't look old school but authentic.
Convenient location where accessible to everywhere!

Service: The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. We had booked a twin room, but she proactively upgraded us to a family suite! The room was spacious and decorated with unique ethnic characteristics.
Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, even including a medical oxygen concentrator! They also provide nasal cannulas. Everything you could possibly need is available.
Environment: Excellent, and the soundproofing is good! There's also a Nepalese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel that many locals frequent, and hotel guests even get a discount! The hotel's location is also superb; it's only about a ten-minute walk to Jokhang Temple (at a leisurely pace, typical for Lhasa) and very close to the bus stop. There's also a delicious cold noodle shop right next to the hotel downstairs!
I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Lhasa!From$21

Location: It's super close to Jokhang Temple, and there's a popular ******* hotpot restaurant and a night market nearby – so convenient!
Service: Excellent! The cleaning lady was very enthusiastic every day! The owner was also very kind! And there's a cute, very well-behaved big dog! (Once, when I mailed something, the delivery guy sent it to the wrong hotel, and the owner enthusiastically helped me find the package! So grateful!)
Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy! I stayed for 5 consecutive days and was happy every single day! I had a wonderful vacation! Highly, highly recommend!From$18

We stayed for three nights, two adults and one child. The standard 1.35m beds were a bit small, but we were able to combine two beds to create a super-large one, which was perfect for preventing our child from falling off – a really brilliant solution!
The housekeeping staff cleaned the room promptly every day and replenished supplies thoroughly. After a long day of sightseeing, we were offered complimentary disposable saffron foot baths when we returned in the evening. Considering showering might not always be advisable in Lhasa due to altitude concerns, these foot baths were a true godsend and incredibly thoughtful!
All rooms provide 24-hour diffused oxygen, and a standard personal oxygen supply is also complimentary. However, high-flow oxygen requires scanning a QR code for payment.
The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's just a 5-minute walk to Potala Palace Square. There's a park, airport shuttle stop, bus stops, and a shopping mall nearby, plus a large supermarket directly opposite. Jokhang Temple and Ramoche Temple are also just over a 10-minute walk away.
The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful; seeing I had a baby, they even gifted us a complimentary breakfast – I'm so grateful for that! All the service staff were polite, friendly, and always ready to assist. Before we checked out, the front desk also gave a small gift to my child, who was absolutely delighted.
The driver providing the hotel's drop-off service also kindly helped us with our luggage, which was very much appreciated. Overall, our entire experience was exceptionally good. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Lhasa.From$30

Pingcuo Kangsang Jokhang Temple Branch is in an excellent location, a few minutes' walk from Barkhor Street/Jokhang Temple, and has a charming ******* style decoration. Because the plane arrived in the early morning, I had to go to Zhaji Temple and Potala Palace the next morning. It was not yet the check-in time of the hotel (Pingcuo Kangsang Potala Palace Branch), so the front desk helped me contact the youth hostel across the road from their hotel branch, because I only stayed for 6 hours. The boss upgraded the king-size bed single room (with window), which is suitable for backpackers and has a high cost performance.From$4

Every time I come to Lhasa, I live in this hotel. This hotel is the most cost-effective in the same price hotel. It is very good. It is super convenient to travel. It is very close to Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street and Bugong. It takes only 1 minute to walk. Looking at the decor, you can tell it must have been beautiful when it was first built, with distinct ******* characteristics. It basically has all the facilities and services a five-star hotel should offer. However, the problem is that after so many years, the facilities are just too old. The cabinet doors don't close properly, the seating cushions are heavily worn, the old-fashioned toilet is very difficult to use, and the glass is foggy – I'm not sure if it's dirty or just aged. I chose a room with a Potala Palace view, but the cloudy glass really spoiled the experience. There were even leftover toenails from previous guests on the carpet, which was quite disgusting. I also have to mention the mini-bar. There were only 6 cans of Coke and Sprite, with no price tags. I assumed they were complimentary, but when I asked, they were 18 yuan each. Seriously, I've stayed in many five-star hotels. If a mini-bar is going to charge, please at least stock it with sparkling water, orange juice, and beer (if not wine or sparkling wine) to look more professional. If you only have these few bottles, either be generous and offer them for free, or just remove them. The current approach feels a bit cheap. Overall, this hotel definitely needs a renovation.From$90

It is a very clean and comfortable small courtyard. I can lie on the bed in the single room on the second floor and take a nap while looking at the blue sky and white clouds in the afternoon. Tangka Hotel is directly across from the Jokhang Temple entrance, and there's a shopping mall downstairs! It has everything you need for dining, sightseeing, and shopping. We originally planned to try various hotels, but once we got here, we didn't want to leave. First, let's talk about breakfast. It was delicious. ******* food isn't always particularly suited to Han Chinese tastes, but this hotel's offerings were perfectly suited to our tastes, with some ******* touches. After a leisurely breakfast, we walked downstairs and arrived at the Jokhang Temple security checkpoint. From there, we could explore the surrounding Barkhor Street area! Now, let's talk about shopping. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall where you can buy everything you need, including local specialties. This street is the busiest of all. And how much further is a little further? There's Lhasa, a city that never sleeps. In Lhasa, you can enjoy a snack or a small bar in the evening. Let's talk about the main attractions. In fact, it doesn't take long to walk forward and you can see the night view of the Potala Palace, so it is very comfortable here, which is why we always choose here.
