Distributed oxygen supply: The hotel provides oxygen concentrators and oximeters. Breakfast is plentiful, and the bread is especially delicious. Facilities: The room is a medium size, not very big, but the balcony is quite spacious.
On the first day, I experienced some altitude sickness and lacked oxygen. The diffused oxygen supply wasn't quite enough, so I had to sit next to an oxygen tank.
Cleanliness: OK
Environment: Very good, with an old town style. The atmosphere is a bit dark and mysterious, and the room itself is also quite dim.
Service: There's a butler service, and the milk tea in the lobby is delicious.
Breakfast: Quite average, not many varieties. The rice noodles they cooked were also just so-so.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. A special thanks to front desk staff member Riri for doing her best to coordinate a suitable room according to my request. Also, the butler and maintenance technician resolved an air conditioning issue in the middle of the night. The professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the staff at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, from top to bottom, brought warmth and moved us during our time in Lhasa. There's no distinction of 'high or low' among people; hotel guests and staff simply have different roles and responsibilities. The key lies in how guests' concerns are addressed and the attitude and problem-solving approach of the staff when issues arise.
We had booked a basic room, but because I'm sensitive to noise, Riri helped us upgrade to a quieter room. The air conditioning in our room would turn on automatically after being turned off. Around 1 AM, the maintenance technician came back and forth three times. Eventually, they decided to turn off the AC's circuit breaker and fix it the next day (which they did). Before we left, they even sent a small gift as an apology.
Breakfast was decent, but I'd describe it as exquisite in presentation, bland in taste, and lacking variety. However, I've also tried meals at the Shangri-La Lhasa, the Crowne Plaza Linzhi, and the Songtsam Bason Co Linka, where some ingredients are even transported from Sichuan in advance due to special circumstances. The taste is generally similar across the board. Given the challenging environment, I believe they've done their best to achieve this level.
Regarding some of the room's hardware, there's definitely room for improvement, and the hotel itself is aware of this. I hope to see improvements in the future.

I highly recommend the Dong Mawha Hotel! Its location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The room was spotless, free of any strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was also fantastic. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient with both check-in and check-out. The value for money here is simply amazing, I can't recommend it enough!
The thoughtful details really stood out: a Kung Fu tea set, an instant hot water dispenser, a washer-dryer combo, a Dyson hairdryer, and they even provided a weighing scale and bathrobes. It made for a truly comfortable and hassle-free stay. I fell in love with this hotel after just one visit and have already recommended it to my friends. Extremely close to the Potala Palace, and the hotel offers free parking. Right across from the parking lot, there's a cafe where you can get a close-up view of the Potala Palace at night, but I missed it this time. The airport shuttle is also conveniently located near the hotel. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even gave me a special yogurt when I checked in, which was quite tasty. The hygiene and facilities met Huazhu's standards as always. However, the front desk and restaurant staff did not meet expectations (for example, the restaurant staff seemed to be afraid of the cold and did not check breakfast vouchers at the entrance; when we asked for vouchers, they didn't look up and were constantly playing on their phones; even though the room number was clearly marked on the voucher, we had to say it ourselves, which made me have to check the Huazhu mini-program). Furthermore, the biggest problem was the shower temperature control in the bathroom – either scalding hot or freezing cold, with no temperature gradient, making showering impossible; and the overhead shower was terrible, scattering water everywhere except on the skin.FromPKR 17,142

Due to an unexpected situation, I had to stay at this hotel for one night, but I really loved it. To paraphrase a popular saying: even an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari! It's a long-established hotel with an excellent location—all within a 10-minute walk to the square, Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, and the airport bus station. Yet, it's also very quiet at night, which is perfect! The service was also standard star-rated hotel service—warm and welcoming, without the lazy atmosphere of some older hotels. I sincerely hope they maintain this! The room furniture was a bit dated, but the materials were really good and sturdy! The bedding was incredibly comfortable, something you can't find in budget hotels! In Lhasa, a food wasteland, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was a delight. The 88 RMB Medog stone pot chicken set meal for one person was the most satisfying meal I had during my week in Lhasa! The waitress was very helpful and attentive; thank you!! In short, next time I come, I'll stay for several more nights!! However, the room phone seemed to be malfunctioning. Following the instructions on the table, I dialed the front desk, but the automated voice said: ”I don't have this dialing function; please check it!” The hotel's large air conditioner lacks usage instructions; hopefully, this can be improved! The hotel is listed as a four-star hotel. The exterior design is high-end and classy, but the room facilities are not up to par. The room I stayed in on the first day had a temperature of 17 degrees on the display screen. The central air conditioner did not have warm air and only provided warm air at night, which was not in line with a four-star hotel. I stayed for another day on the second day and moved to a sunny room. However, the service attitude was very good. Both the manager and the front desk receptionist were warm and perfect, which was the standard of a five-star hotel. They also sent fruits, cakes and milk. First, I want to praise the hotel's cleanliness, tidiness, and comfort. Both the public areas and the rooms were cozy and relaxing.
Second, the front desk service was incredibly attentive! They were warm and patient throughout the entire process, checking in efficiently. Any questions were answered promptly, and they even offered suggestions for nearby attractions. It was a truly wonderful experience.
The most surprising thing was the location. It's very close to the Potala Palace, within walking distance. It's also very convenient to the Jokhang Temple and the Ramoche Temple, saving a lot of travel time. It's truly tourist-friendly.

Take the bus three stops to Barkhor Street, but the bus in Lhasa is gone at 9:30 in the evening, and it is too late to take a taxi, which is not expensive. They helped us with our luggage and arranged for us to stay on the third floor, which definitely made the altitude sickness worse when climbing the stairs!
