We really enjoyed the stay. Self check in process is quite easy. A digital key is used to access the room, although this is our first time using a digital key, we found it quite handy. The room is large even for three people. The room is clean, neat, and tidy provided with a double bed and a single bed, a comfy sofa, a big table complete with water boiler, a nice selection of tea, coffee, sugar, and creamer. The check out process was also quite easy. Surely we will come back to the hotel when we visit Dortmund again.

A very nice hotel, centrally located with great public transport connections. It was clean, and my room even had its own balcony. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was a little small but perfectly functional. The only minor improvement would be a mirror in the main room, but otherwise, it was fantastic. I'll definitely be back!

We were in Dortmund for a funeral. Since I already knew Steigenberger Hotels from my business trips, I thought I would treat us to something nice by booking this hotel. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. Lots of football fans and a corresponding amount of noise. The bed creaked and was in poor condition. We brought this up, but nothing was done to fix it. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted properly, so there was a strong draft right over the bed. So, sweating it was. The cleaning staff left their cleaning rag behind, but took the TV remote with them instead. The breakfast buffet was poorly labeled (e.g., the jam), and there was no Birchermuesli either. I am not used to any of this from the properties in Bad Homburg, Bad Neuenahr, etc. So, for us, it was an expensive disappointment.

The hotel was very easy to find, right after climbing the stairs directly opposite Dortmund Central Station, and the hotel sign was immediately visible. I checked in using the machine, and when I entered the room, I noticed some old shoulder marks on the floor, so I rated the cleanliness a 3. However, there were many shops around, including places where I could enjoy delicious Dortmund beer. I also found traditional currywurst. I really appreciated that the staff allowed me to store my luggage after check-out while I went to watch a football match. They were also kind enough to let me spend time in the lounge when I returned and had some time before leaving. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again!

We felt really comfortable; everyone was super nice, from the concierge to the service staff and reception. It was about a 5-8 minute walk from the main train station and easy to find. The breakfast was delicious; they kept refilling it, even right before closing time. The hotel's dog, Flora, did the best job :-) The room was very nice and clean!!! Beautiful courtyard and delicious gins at the bar. This is now our favorite hotel in Dortmund. We highly recommend it.

We were travelling to the BVB game. The location of the hotel is perfect! You will come to the Iduna Park signal in just 30 minutes walk.  Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable with view of the stadium. All was clean and ordened. Only a little more deposit facilities in the bathroom would be great.  All staff were very friendly. After the game we had something to eat in the hotel. It is definitely recommended. A small but fine selection of dishes that also fitted with the price-performance ratio. Breakfast was delicious.  Once we come back to Dortmund, we will definitely stay back in the courtyard.

Overall, the service staff is still very enthusiastic, but there will always be a general accommodation feeling, next time I will basically not consider living here. The price is also very poor, breakfast and dinner are very expensive. 1) First of all, the room facilities are very simple, old, the furniture is very simple, the shower conditions are very poor, the room is small, and the living is very depressed. 2) The hotel has no elevator, very old stairs, two large boxes are moving, I suspect life. The carpet is dirty, and the corridor needs to be manually turned on the lights. I feel very backward. 3) The location is also very remote, in a bunch of residential areas, I need to walk out to find supermarket restaurants 4) Poor price/performance ratio. A breakfast 19.5 euros, dinner 4 of us spent 193 euros, the key is that this hotel is located in a small town, it should not be so expensive. The place worthy of praise is the enthusiasm of customer service, especially the little girl. The decoration of the restaurant is very distinctive, the decoration of the wooden structure, the lighting matching, the flowers are embellished, and the Lanhof Hotel at night is very popular.

While checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. Or they should have alerted me earlier during my stay and not while I was about to check out with a travel connection that was close to being missed. Instead of public transport I had to spend 25 euro on a taxi to get to the train station.

Prima hotel aan de rand van het autoluwe centrum. Grote kamer, fijn bed en alles is schoon. Geen airco, wat jammer is als het buiten wat lawaaierig is en de ramen openstaan. Met ramen dicht weinig te horen van de omgeving. Ontbijt is lekker en voldoende, bijzondere broodjes. Wat ook bijzonder is, is dat dit hotel bijdraagt aan de integratie van mensen met een beperking. We really enjoyed the stay. Self check in process is quite easy. A digital key is used to access the room, although this is our first time using a digital key, we found it quite handy. The room is large even for three people. The room is clean, neat, and tidy provided with a double bed and a single bed, a comfy sofa, a big table complete with water boiler, a nice selection of tea, coffee, sugar, and creamer. The check out process was also quite easy. Surely we will come back to the hotel when we visit Dortmund again.
