We felt like home from the moment we stepped into this beautiful 4 bedroom villa which has been tastefully decorated not disturbing it's old charm. Madhu was an excellent host and made our stay even more comfortable by attending to all our requirements. He was also helpful in giving us tips on the places to visit almost like a personal tour guide! We had the whole place to ourselves and having a pool was a bonus. Most importantly the food was exceptional! We got to try all the famous Jaffna curries and other local dishes. It is ideal for a group of friends or a family for a weekend getaway.FromCAD 99

Design was good enough to call a heritage hotel but hotel is getting old and can see stains on the wall tiles, toilet windows (poor design), & taps are getting rusty etc. i have not tried food there so i have no comments.

We felt like home from the moment we stepped into this beautiful 4 bedroom villa which has been tastefully decorated not disturbing it's old charm. Madhu was an excellent host and made our stay even more comfortable by attending to all our requirements. He was also helpful in giving us tips on the places to visit almost like a personal tour guide! We had the whole place to ourselves and having a pool was a bonus. Most importantly the food was exceptional! We got to try all the famous Jaffna curries and other local dishes. It is ideal for a group of friends or a family for a weekend getaway.FromCAD 99

Design was good enough to call a heritage hotel but hotel is getting old and can see stains on the wall tiles, toilet windows (poor design), & taps are getting rusty etc. i have not tried food there so i have no comments.

For me, there was no other accommodation option other than Jetwing Jaffna! I stayed there in 2018 and came back for a family visit in 2023. Its location in the middle of the city makes it a no-brainer as the choice of accommodation. The breakfast spread was impressive (I loved the bacon and sausages and the paal appam - out of this world stuff!). Staff were friendly and courteous. The roof top bar and the scenery was something to look foreword to winding down the evenings. This is one of the best options to stay in Jaffna. It’s not in the city centre, more on the outskirts of the city , there’s nothing around, so you basically plan your time in the resort. The hotel itself is nice , the rooms look a bit old but clean , there was no hot water in our room. The territory of the hotel is beautiful with the pool , restaurant, little museums to visit (ex bunkers). The food in the restaurant is yummy , the staff is friendly and polite, especially Scotty , he was very helpful and nice to us during our stay.
