It was our second time back at Park Hyatt and it did not disappoint. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and we were warmly greeted at the front. While we were finalizing our check in, the staff took our bags and set it up in our rooms. We tried the breakfast for the first time (complimentary) and it was amazing. Their selection is too class and they designed it so that food is not wasted. We also went to the swimming pool and it was a great time. They think of everything. Like always, everyone greeted us whenever we were in the main halls. This hotel will always be my to-go. Huge thank you to William at the front desk and Naomi in the dining hall. From$193

Did not meet expectations. Building has issues.
-Rooms had temperature issues that the AC could not handle, Hotel tries to handle this with curtains and a paper notice (see picture. With the curtains closed Room was 35°C at check-in in winter because the room was on the sunny side).
-Lack of hot water for the shower/bath in the evening, hotel said it has trouble handling peak hours (and they weren't even fully booked).
-Shoehorn dropped in the middle of the night, waking us. Hanger is a double sided tape variety.
-Other obvious maintenance issues like the electrical socket being misaligned, and the toilet seat having bad gearing in the smart toilet.
-No decaf coffee available in the room, the staff said there is none (did not even know what it was). Normally with this brand of coffee the decaf is in blue packets.
-Breakfast was mediocre at best. Pretty standard mainland fare. Line to the noodle stall was excessive, and for everything else the quality was lacking.
On the positive side, the pool and the sauna were satisfactory. Good parking too. Firm bed for those who like it. Staff was fairly responsive despite, although Chinese is helpful. And for one of the 3 rooms booked we got an upgrade (although all of the negatives above still apply)From$61

Stayed for four nights and the experience was great. Just a short walk away from the lake. Very convenient location from downtown and all the touristy spots taking the taxi. The hotel was very clean, family friendly, staff were attentive to guests and even helped me track down the Meituan guy trying to find the hotel. Walls were thick enough to have a good night's rest, which is very important as I'm a light sleeper (even with wearing earplugs).
On top of that, the park has some great eats like a hotpot place, steakhouse, Italian food with wine, a clothing/jewelry shop or two for the ladies, a little skateboard park for the kids, and a Lawson if you need any last minute stuff. Lovely hotel, the grounds were really nice and the staff helpful. It is a large complex so there were carts to take you around.
We only ate the breakfast but it was quite good. Lots of fresh food and a good selection.
The drinks option at the bar was poor though. They only had beer or tea, even though the menu offered many more things such as cocktails and soft drinks. It also took them over an hour to realise they didn’t have these available which spoiled the evening somewhat.
We used the spa and the massage was fantastic and the service very good. We also used the hot springs which were nice- however the receptionist was very rude and condescending.
The indoor hot spring was more of a kids play pool which spoiled the experience, especially as there was a regular pool next door which could have been used for this. From$108

Staff were super friendly and welcoming. We got a free upgrade and the room was bright, clean and big. Breakfast was good, with a decent amount of choices. The play options for kids were really good - although it was very hot outside.
My only disappointment was that the pool and hot spring area only opens at 2pm. It's frustrating waiting and disappointing to not have a final swim/relax in water on the check out day because you need to be out by 12. I hope the hotel can consider changing this.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful experience with wonderful surroundings and great service. The Hot springs were a much needed relaxing part of the trip and it was included in the price of the room where you can visit once per day.
The rooms are very clean with the aroma of essential oils. The insulation was great so you never hear the sound of your neighbours once the doors are closed. My room had a balcony with seats which you could use the space to hang out, read & do yoga if you choose!

I had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou. The hotel is close to key attractions like the Suzhou museum , administrative garden etc. The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. They assisted me with everything I needed and made me feel welcome. The hotel itself was beautiful, with a traditional Chinese architecture and a stunning garden. I loved taking photos in the garden and admiring the scenery. The hotel also offered free unlimited entry to Panmen, a historic scenic area with ancient gates, bridges, and temples. It was a great way to explore the culture and history of Suzhou. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Suzhou.
Only thing that I do not like about the room is the tap. It’s the traditional type where you have separate hot and cold tap, making it less functional but it does fit the overall design theme of the hotel. Lastly , the hotel may like consider switching to big bottles for the shampoo/ shower gel so reduce waste and more environmental friendly.

Polite front desk clerk. Room was OK, kind of average but no complaint. Window glass was unbelievably dirty that you don't want open the curtain even sunshine was beautiful.
What really surprised me was breakfast. Food was obviously not matching Shangri-La brand equity. Maybe it was due to weekend promotion but no idea.
When we arrived the table was not ready. I waited for the table yo be cleaned. A young lady came with tablewares. Before she did any cleaning she dropped the tablewares on the table and then about to clean. I asked her why she did that before cleaning. She realized something and moved the tablewares to a chair (CHAIR!) which is another surprise. But the best part has yet to start. She used a mop to rub on the table. I could see some food residues turning into paste and spreading on the table. The rest was wiped off to carpet...! Can you believe? How did you guys train and qualify new staff before the start working?
I complained to the manager. Fortunately He understood and and cleaned the carpet.

|33.05km from city center我們在小紅書上看到可以體驗採茶活動才來下的訂單，當時定之前特的打了電話溝通採茶活動是否還有，有沒有什麼時間限制等，當時老闆説可以的，問了我們幾個人什麼時間就沒有了。所以我們就很期待了下了訂單，但是當入住了以後是老闆娘在接待，可能他們並沒有把客人的需求溝通，我詢問後老闆娘又問了一遍幾個人之類的，好像第一次知道，也感覺也不是不熱情，就是有點不耐煩但還是要表現的熱情，可能她也不知道我們事先已經諮詢了採茶體驗的事情，説采不到一斤沒有辦法炒，我説了我兩個人應該也不會采很久，她就説可以明天上午帶我們去現在太熱了，説採茶100/人，茶葉按照市場價賣，我説我們兩個人應該采不到多少，她説那算你們50一個，我説那這樣子我茶葉還能帶走嗎o她説可以帶走，當送你們的了，OK，等到第二天早上我繼續問什麼時候可以去，她又開始説路程遠，問我們是農村的還是城裡的？就也不懂這個問題，我猜測是考慮體力問題，説上山下山至少20分鐘，然後我問山上有人教我們們嗎還是，説沒有，就我們自己，我説那我們採的茶葉會有師傅可以加工嗎？説沒有一斤不加工，而且什麼加工很遠在山坳裏面我們吃不消的，我説那我帶走的是啥，就是葉子嗎？她説是的，衹能帶回去炒菜，我説我們就是想體驗一下采摘到炒到茶葉的過程，她説那你們就應該多幾個人來啊…怎麼我們兩口子還不能單獨出來了…要是兩個人不能采，或者采了不能炒怎麼樣可以提前告訴我啊，我都問了第三遍了都以為要出發了，唉，就全程感覺她是在假設你很懂製茶的邏輯來和我溝通的，但是我們就是不懂才來體驗的不是嗎？所欲鑒於這些我們放棄了此行最期待的採茶活動。
可能這個事情非常影響我的主觀感受。所以這次住宿不是很滿意。
首先交通，地理位置在一個村裡子，不自駕肯定很不方便。
其次酒店不是電梯是樓梯，我們住的房間在樓梯口，晚上塊11點早上不到6:30就聽到很大聲的踩樓梯咚咚聲，睡覺不好真的是災難。隔音也沒做好，走廊上人説話非常清晰。
其次衞生方面，拖鞋是沒有封條或者包裝袋的，我老公看了下底部是有黑色的腳印，猜測不是一客一換。
早餐也很簡單，一碗白粥加一碟蘿蔔乾，然後一堆的包子燒賣油條，應該都是那種加熱蒸一下就可以的，對比上週剛去了桐廬住了同等價位的希爾頓，早餐的對比非常大，也不是説這樣的早餐不行，但是對於550一晚的房價有點不值。
當然最後我們還是買了茶葉，因為此行最主要就是因為碧螺春，但後來發現到處都有茶葉店，甚至我們在景區門口體驗的茶葉也不比這裏差，至少人家很熱情給你每種泡了體驗一下，也會耐心和你解釋其中價格的差異在哪裡，這些尊重和共情是我在這家老闆娘身上所沒有體會到的。
唯一比較開心的就是在院子裏看到了一株紫藤花，也算是彌補了此行的遺憾。所以關於這家民宿僅有的照片衹有紫藤了。
