Everything at the resort was incredibly systematic and well-organized, resulting in a completely frustration-free stay. We arrived at 12 PM and were pleasantly surprised to receive our room for an early check-in at 1 PM after a minimal wait! We opted for the 6-activity package—a great value according to my husband—which included a fantastic 2-hour karaoke session and access to the kids' indoor playground. We highly recommend the 6-activity package; it kept us thoroughly engaged throughout our 3-day, 2-night stay. The resort's punctuality was excellent: our in-room couple's massage therapists arrived exactly on time, and the fire for our 6:30 PM outdoor BBQ was already set up by 6 PM.
The sound proof is not so good especially when the kids sleep at the teepee materials but when they are tired they still can fall asleep fast just that the next door kids wake up so early. Have to expect sound as it is glamping.FromTWD 3,209

The resort arranged free shuttle for pick up from Bintan Ferry Terminal for a nearly 80 minutes drive with bottled waters and cookies served. Quite thoughtful!
We stayed at two Garden terrace inter-connected rooms with a family of four. The rooms were quite spacious and well maintained. The resort provides 2 bicycles per room for mobility within the resort, which is a well landscaped expanse. Thoroughly enjoyed our bicycle rides. We also used the buggy rides for getting around the resort, which was quicker and more easier.
The staff were courteous and warm. Few to name are
1. Kiki from the Earth Basket who engaged enthusiastically with us to show us around the fish ponds, rabbits and the various plants.
2. Kay and Ganjar from the The Dining Room (main restaurant which serves diverse cuisine) are warm and welcoming.
3. Intan from Rika Rika (Indonesian cuisine) is full of smiles and agile to serve customised order.
Weather was just perfect and overall we had a pleasant, refreshing stay.
Few areas the resort should focus on - the staff at The Dining Room were understaffed and found to be tired/ sweating. We found the Food variety and quality at the Christmas Eve Dinner disappointing for the price charged. The Indonesian cuisine at Rica Rica was more tastier though less in variety.
We enjoyed the Stargazing, leisurely walks at the beach, bicycling, though we missed the water sports due to monsoons.

Saw some negative review from Google or Trip.com, but I still decided to choose for this resort because of the locations. Also, that after spoke with the driver and I know that the view of the beach of this resort is actually the best one in bintan. It’s quite expensive to eat inside the resort, especially the Indian food at night. I went to the Chinese restaurant, but we didn’t order the seafood. I chose this hotel mainly because four hotels (including the famous Banyan Tree) share the same beach. The beach is large, offering plenty of space for activities. You can also dine at restaurants in the surrounding hotels, which provides a lot of variety. Otherwise, eating at the same restaurant for every meal would get boring after just one or two sittings.
Aside from local Indonesian cuisine, don't expect too much from the quality of the Chinese and Western food. I recommend sticking to Indonesian dishes.
Facilities: The facilities are new, the decor is simple, and the rooms are spacious. Great value for money.
Cleanliness: Clean.
Environment: The beach is large and beautiful.
Service: The staff are very warm, polite, and patient. Special shout-out to the restaurant server, Yance, who was incredibly enthusiastic and proactive. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Mövenpick in March 2026. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. Service is clearly a top priority for the team, as they made the effort to check in with us daily to ensure everything was going well.
Although there were a few minor misses with the food and some communication, the team was very genuine and quick in their service recovery, which we truly appreciated. They also kindly extended a room upgrade to us for our special occasion, which made our stay even more memorable.
As the resort is still quite new, some facilities such as the beach club and spa are not ready yet. However, we would definitely love to return again once all the facilities are fully open.

Our stay was just perfect. It is a beautiful Balinese traditional set-up villa, every staff was friendly and so kind and it really touched my heart. It's a bit old property but perfectly maintained, I didn't feel it's old at all and I was rather impressed how well they kept this beautiful villa. You can also notice a great attention to detials, the person (people) came up with this design and architect must be genius! I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. Arrived late at the hotel and reception was so kind to ask us to sit and not stand, knowing how tired we were after a day's tour around before checking in to the hotel. They were responsive and the hotel was old, they made every attempt to accommodate to our request even specially installing a bidet for us. The view and the seafront was awesome. I love the resort, the staffs, the breakfast and everything. We actually booked with other family friends for SG National Day getaway, but our kids were sick so we had to cancel our trip. We are glad that we booked again and our entire stay was marvellous, definitely recommend staying there. The tent rooms are spacious and the outdoor shower room was a whole new experience for us(It was really fun for my kids). The resort pool was super photogenic, we took quite some pictures there. I have to say a big thank you to the breakfast team, Ms Nazwan, Ms Naiya, Nelu and Ms Devi!!! They were amazing at entertaining kids especially Ms Devi and team surprised my toddler with a birthday cake(that’s why we had this impromptu trip to Bintan). Another thank you for Mr Ham who’s in charge of the kids entertainment. My elder girl had the chance to play (sry I forgot the instrument name) the music instrument, and Mr Ham was patiently guiding my girl how to play, she nailed it on the spot. (Proud mama🤭) after talking to Mr Ham, I’m very impressed with his thoughts to extend the kids entertainment activities in the resort, so that parents can get off ours hands for some personal relaxed time. Amazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance
On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression.
We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved.

Absolutely incredible hotel experience! Stunning room with balcony overlooking the Singapore Strait. Several activities you can do, from eco golf to fishing and a movie night projected on to the side of the ship. The tour was excellent and all of the staff were great. I hired a motorbike through reception so I could explore the island - all organised very well, although 3x more expensive than say Thailand, Vietnam etc. The restaurant has a limited menu unless you are happy with local, mainly seafood dishes with a couple of western options and pizza. The drinks are expensive already, then they add 21% service and tax, again, significantly higher than what you would pay in similar SE Asian countries but I heard typical for Bintan. Buy your drinks from the convenience store in the ferry terminal - 4x cheaper than the hotel bar restaurant. They did say however that their profits are given to charity. Overall, I had an incredible stay here, excellent value, excellent location if you want to chill or explore the island (not suitable for walking) or just relaxing by the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were already blasting cold temperature at 16C with a card inserted into the system. Much appreciated due to the super hot weather.
Pool was small. More for soaking chilling than swimming.
Gym was small. Enclosed with glass with the top open-air so it can be very hot and humid. Treadmill was pitiful. It is more of a home-based type treadmill than one that is usually found in hotels.
My group of 14 adults decided to have dinner at the cafe/ restaurant. The menu is limited but sufficient for us to try the local food. Unfortunately, the food was very slow and came in bits and pieces ie 1 dish came out after 10-15min of waiting. Imagine 14 adults ordering multiple dishes + drinks? We must have ordered 30+ dishes, not including drinks. It was only at the last 20min of our dinner that many dishes came out of the kitchen at the same time. The staff was definitely not prepared to handle such orders in the evenings. Some of the dishes like satay was cold. Some dishes were also missed out. Truly disappointing.
The wait staff were nice and patient.
Breakfast was much better. Many dishes and choices.

Biru is the villa area of Nawan Garden. The environment is very good. The waiter sent us to the door of the room with great enthusiasm. The single bed in the bedroom is a bit small and can only sleep one adult. If there are many people, you can put the two single beds together. The bathroom is a bit simplistic, if you need a comb toothbrush you can call. The overall feeling in Bintan is that people are very good. Even if the communication is not too smooth, they will not bother to explain. My request is to know one or two keywords. Everything was great but please learn to delivery ”no” message to your customer instead of stalling tactic.
We requested for early checkin as the ferry disembarked at close to 12pm. The concierge told us it was subjected to availability. They will try to clean up room quickly. We waited close to 3hrs, 15mins before official check in time to get the room.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.FromTWD 1,042

Nice hotel and ready to go hotel if you return back to Malaysia from Bandar Bentan Tilani Ferry Terminal because the hotel is nearest from the jetty. Everything about this place was perfect – the service, the ambiance, the food, and the prices. I'll definitely be bringing my family and friends back here. I heard that during the off-season, it's only around 500 RMB, which is incredible value for money. This time, I visited during Chinese New Year and unfortunately couldn't book a sea-view room, which was a real shame because I bet the views from there are absolutely stunning.
After getting off the boat, the first small booth on the left is where the hotel's reception and parking staff are. We waited about 10 minutes for a private car to take us to the hotel, and the service was excellent. The front desk staff, I'd say, were adequately helpful, but not overly enthusiastic – perhaps they deal with too many check-ins in a day and become a bit desensitized. We stayed on the island for two nights. It was the rainy season, so we experienced both downpours and sunshine. However, just before we left, the sun came out in full force. A word of caution: make sure to apply sunscreen everywhere! I got sunburned in just one morning.
Honestly, the prices on this island are really low. I found it to be very affordable, and the service was excellent. There's a small shopping street right next to the hotel where you can buy basic necessities like clothes and shoes. I initially thought that a hotel of this size would have a more expensive beach club, but we ordered a whole table of food for two people and it only came to just over 300 RMB. Seriously, the service at the hotel's beach club by the pool was amazing. They met every request. I felt like I got more than my money's worth. This is my second time staying in Aston. The service is impeccable and the staff are the most friendliest and helpful people. The rooms are kept clean daily with fresh towels always available. The restaurant is cosy with really good variety of both western and delicious Indonesian traditional food.
The hotel’s location is just a stone’s throw away from lots of eateries and restaurants, museums and tourist spots.
The swimming pool has a children’s pool and mini water park. Great for families with young children.
The adult pool is always clean and big enough for a good workout.

I was here for a ride in Bintan and we chose D’Prima for its location is so so near to the BBT Ferry terminal.
Room is clean and cosy. Not the most spacious for a single room but definitely more than comfortable for me.
Staff even make the extra miles to prepare my breakfast b4 5am as I m starting my ride at 530am.

Staying at the Cabin Villa at De Bintan Villa has been such a delightful experience! I’m so happy to be back, and this time I had the chance to try their new cabin with its serene sea view. Excellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. Awesome hotel, that is, Ctrip has to contact the hotel through the agent, can not communicate directly, not too convenient. The hotel is right by the sea and you can watch the sunset. The hotel's restaurant is better than any restaurant on the island! I ate three dinners this time, and I didn't step on thunder when I blinded a lot of dishes!

The villa we stayed in wasn’t bad, but definitely worn down—some spots weren’t painted well, the toilet sink clogged, and there was this weird smell in the room. We stayed with our family at the Kawaland glamping resort for 3D,2N. We had a very nice experience. The staff were sincere, hard working, friendly and courteous with all our needs. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and explained to us about the Indonesian cuisine. All the food that we tried at the restaurant was good! The glamping rooms were comfortable with spacious bedroom and bathrooms. The beach was only a walking distance from the resort & it was clean and beautiful. They also had swimming pools. We also had a good experience using the BBQ pit with the help of staff. We were also able to try the movie night with the projector at the beach bar. One area that could be improved is: During warm weather, the roof panels and the room interior gets quite hot. The AC alone was not sufficient. So it may need some other solution as well to keep the room comfortable. Otherwise, we had a chill, happy vacation at the resort! Would definitely recommend it to everyone.FromTWD 995
