Fabulous setting up on a hill about a 20 min walk down  to the town(definitely get a rickshaw back).  Didn’t realise we could order eggs  for breakfast until our second morning (not offered them  on the first morning). Cake at breakfast was yummy. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned  on arrival  and there were splatters marks on the wall  above the tea/coffee area. We also returned to our room late afternoon to find maintenance working on our balcony - did feel this could have been done after checkout! Fabulous shower. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The high taxes in Tamil Nadu added to the price (almost 25%) so bear this in mind . Cocktails weee excellent. We did the morning ’hike’  which was well worth getting up for.  We were brought a hot water bottle on our second night which was a lovely surprise.  Tea & biscuits served between 5 & 5.30pm which was a nice touch  although more of the breakfast cake would have been good. Would recommend staying here as rooms, location  & restaurant are excellent.

The stay ar the welcome heritage fernhills palace ooty was excellent. Right from the welcome to the rooms to the service everything was top notch. I would like to add that make my trip never disappoints. However i just have one concern regarding the car and the driver. The driver otherwise was extreme cooperative but did not understand tamil or english and was comfortable only with malayalam. Overall it was a very nice experience, apart from the car and the driver.

Floor cleaning liquid smells like a mortuary area,kindly please add some good fragrance smell. Sleeping bed was making some noise while turning around in the bed. Food was not at all good. Very much costly. Need some extra dishes to make choices. Dinner menu needs to be changed. We had only limited dishes,but menu shows multiple choices but no options to select as it was not available. Very disappointed in dinner menu and even for afternoon. We had to look for other restaurant as we didn’t have any options to select for lunch. I am adding a point here kindly note this :- please provide good water bottle and kettle to people when they are checking in to your hotel. Seriously, my review about my days spent in your hotel is average. Kindly improve the added points

At first looking at entrance I was not amazed but the exploring property that had the nature based concept with garden and fish ponds , bridge etc.. it was out of world. Food ways good and all required amenities were there for a comfortable stay. I would appreciate the staffs who were humble , understanding the situation and making us comfortable , kudos to staffs. Only suggestion if you can focus is providing fresh blanket for new customers and I felt that was not fresh one. I may be wrong just focus on that. Rest were great for me. Thank you

Location: very practical, convenient, in the centre of the city. No views but the hotel has a heritage vibe and the well maintained gardens, lawns flowers make up for the lack of mountain or valley view. Rooms: clean, have vintage looking furniture. No lockers but only a drawer which cud be latched. We carried out valuables so dint have a problem but if u want to keep in hotel u may need to ask for key. Kettle, milk, tea n coffe powders, sugar packets available. Bathrooms: decent. They do clean regularly but some smell is there despite impeccable cleaning. They do provide soap n shampoo. 24 hr hot water available. Heater available at extra charge. We did not need it though. The biggest negative is they don't have their own kitchen. There is a restaurant in their campus but it functions independently. So early morning milk or early breakfast on day of departure etc needs to be managed from outside. The reception people do help for the same. The restaurant is very famous so lots of crowd wil come for restaurant. Waiting is there often. However, the property is well managed. They have small but beautiful gardens, a small play area and a bonfire arrangment too. So, if u want a hotel with heritage feel in the heart of the city this is the place to be. All major tourist attractions in the ooty city are close to this place. Also good restaurants, market area are all very close by.

GGuest UserHotel location is good......Common areas are well maintained however the rooms are not as reflected in photograph on the website....Restaurant is not well ***aged although the staff is good but I feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. ...Buffet breakfast is good....Biryani taste was good....Food in general was good...Had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to transfer my luggage from room during checkout.....There was a lot of difference between the price as mentioned on trip.com and directly with hotel.....Trip.com was less for the same Privilege Suite....

This was our second time staying here but not so pleasant this time Food was average And some of the staffs didn’t pay attention to the room issues like flash not working in morning ; requesting to have breakfast during waiting time ( which looked liked a good gesture coz breakfast time was almost over and why to waste food but later asking to pay ( which should had been informed priorly ) Common washroom area not cleaned

Overall, everything was good except for one issue. We had booked the hotel for 4 nights, but due to an unexpected emergency, we had to check out one night early. Unfortunately, the hotel management did not provide any refund for the unused night, which amounted to approximately RMB 1,500 (around ₹20,000). What disappointed me most was the management’s attitude regarding the cancellation request. I also submitted refund requests through Trip.com twice, but both were rejected. le the stay itself was satisfactory, the lack of flexibility and customer support in handling an emergency situation left a very negative impression.

This property is nearer to all important tourist spots. The behaviour of the staffs are very good. They had given good guidance and arranged the vehicles for site seeing at a very reasonable rate. They had served a very good homely food at very reasonable price 😋

The property was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a comfortable stay. I stayed for four nights and was even able to work remotely without any issues. I’d definitely come back. Sayan, the property manager, was a wonderful host , helpful and attentive throughout.

Rooms' interiors, reception, restaurant and parking facility are good. Below are points where the hotel needs to work. 1. Repair the water leakage in the rooms as well as in the washroom. 2. During peak times, improve the strength of manpower for the breakfast buffet and also maintain something to keep food warm. I felt almost every guest had problems with getting utensils or warm food.
