The resort overall is fine. The room could do with some refreshing especially the bathroom. It is in a nice location and doesn’t get any passing tourists as it is literally the last resort in the area.

This is paradise. From stepping off the boat, the service at SAii Phi Phi Village has been nothing short of amazing. The check in process is very simple, there is an app which you download that gives you all the information you need. There is a 24 hour buggy service that you can use on the island and the estimated waiting time is around 2-3 minutes which is brilliant considering how many bungalows there are. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, special shout-out to Toomy who took care of us. The beach is crystal clear, If you want an alternative, you could always take a 15 minute walk to the back of the island where there is Lana bay. On you way there you will have a access to small bars and shops. There is also a wide variety of breakfast options. I highly recommend this resort. Thank you SAii Phi Phi🙂

A fantastic little resort where every room is a detached chalet set in palms and green foliage. At night spot lights add to the magical feel of the place. The room is a little on the small side but the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is modern. However... the walls are paper thin and although being detached, you cloud clearly hear the guests next door. The pool area was perfect. The relaxing atmosphere encouraged you to make the list of the swim up bar and the pool food service. The view out to sea was pretty spectacular too. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the main part of the island where you can eat and drink at so many places. Everything was idyllic until the clock struck 8pm! Then you are bombarded with the loudest club music you could ever imagine. This lasts every night until 2am. Why the island can't stop this, I haven't a clue but it certainly spoiled the holiday for us. We were so shocked in the first night, with the windows of our hut literally vibrating that we rebooked our original hotel back on the mainland as we just couldn't bear the noise. However the next day was our first full day at the resort. That was so relaxing and enjoyable, that we decided to bear with the loud music for the next two nights. The reception staff were not that cheerful which was a shame. And we had issues with the aircon and the fridge which was warm. This wasn't really fixed even though we asked and we were charged for ice too which again was a little rich! Would we go back? No. But it was a nice place to stay for a few days up until 8pm!

You can’t find a more spectacular location to stay. Our bungalow was number 505 and was on the beach front literally a stones throw to the water edge. The sand is white and water clear just as you see in the photos. Things to bear in mind. Cleanliness was not as good as expected. Under and around our bungalow there were things left behind by previous guests a lot of rubbish, slippers, towels which had been forgotten. The bathroom and shower was outdated and felt old and we didn’t dare use the outside shower as that whole area looked dirty and stained from the wildlife. I had to ask the cleaner one day for a cloth to clean the table outside on the balcony as it was stained from beverages used by guests before us. The breakfast area really was quite gross. I didn’t feel like i was eating in a clean atmosphere. Really basic things like the table cloth on the breakfast bar were stained and tatty. The bar being quite open to the outside had stains from the fauna which seemed to flow in and out at their leisure. Staff were attentive however you never saw anyone cleaning when they weren’t doing anything. Its a pity as it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant. We did encounter some problems with the verandah door not opening and it was resolved immediately. The hotel took full charge of collecting us from our previous hotel in phuket taking us to the ferry port and the boat trip to the island for 1500 baht per person also the trip from the resort by boat to the next hotel in Krabi also for 1700 baht per person. This service is a real benefit because otherwise you have to take several boats and taxis and avoid all the hassle! Also another thing which was fabulous and my highlight of my entire trip to Thailand was the private long boat tour to ko phi phi leh. Not for the visit to Maya beach (however it was included) but for the swimming in the lagoon and snorkeling experience. That was worth every baht! You pay for the boat up to 4 ppl and its 2080 baht for 4 hours. Highly recommended!

Went on a ***cation and spent the week in the sun along the beach side. The bungalows were extremely comfortable beautiful views and the bungalow we had was right down near the main area of the resort so not much climbing. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. The fire dancers were phenomenal!

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.

This hotel is a short walk from the pier. It is located close to the louder part of Koh Phi Phi, Dalum Beach. Extremely close to slinky's bar. Google maps will take u most of the way, but it misses the last left turn (pic enclosed). The nice girl that work the front desk is over worked, but nice. Got in earlier than the check in time and spent a couple of hours at the pool till my was ready. The rooms are assigned ahead of arrival, so you may get lucky, or not. Pool/Beach towels are available at the front desk. I've picked the cheapest room. It faces nothing much and no view. I advise u to pick the rooms that overlook the pool on the 2nd floor. The room is pretty small, but there's room for everything. Mini fridge, 2 free bottles of water, coffee tea, some amenities for the shower and some reasonably priced snacks. TV is there. Haven't used it, so don't know what's on. There's a balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. Hot water - check! The pool - my favorite spot. Great surroundings for sun bathing. There's a long happy hour for food and drinks. The island itself isn't as cheap as Thailand. Water will cost almost twice as much if it's not the filtered kind. The island is small, at least the part you don't need a boat to get to ☺️ The best way to know it, is to walk around. There's a small market with fruit and vegetables and local stands, bars, restaurants, everything is within a walking distance. There's a 1000 baht deposit at check in. WiFi doesn't work well in the room. Feel free to ask questions and enjoy 🏖️

We had an amazing visit! Would definitely return! You must realize that you are staying basically in the jungle. You don't need fancy clothes. You don't even need shoes. Getting there takes time and you need to plan ahead with flights and boat transfers. We were there during ”off” season, so this information could change during high season. (Check other reviews.) There was not any entertainment, which was perfect for us! We came to rest and relax and enjoy the beach. We read books, swam, walked, ate, exercised, slept. Best vacation ever. 1) When I go to a beach resort, the most important thing is THE BEACH. This beach is gorgeous, the sand is golden, the water is clear and beautiful. The swim area is very generous and cleared of large rocks. No trash or debris. You can also go outside the swim area and snorkel near the rocks that are in front of the neighboring resort. Lots of lounge chairs with a bean-bag type cushion and large umbrellas. If chairs are taken, they also have mats that lay on the ground but with a back cushion. They were very comfortable. 2) The other thing that makes or breaks a hotel stay is the comfort of the bed, and the room in general. The bed was perfect -- not too hard, not too soft. The rooms are individual teak wood buildings and have thatched roofs. The room has air conditioning. The beds have mosquito nets, but I didn't feel like we needed them during our stay. There is a beautiful breezeway porch with chairs and cushions, then an enclosed bathroom with toilet, sink & shower. There is a separate outdoor shower behind a wooden wall. Also an outdoor sink attached to a dressing table with chair and mirror plus outlet. If you have long hair that you usually dry, I would make plans NOT to do so. It is too hot and the hair dryer is not really for styling. (ours only had high setting and it made my hair look crazy) 3) Food/Dining - The resort had a large dining area where an amazing breakfast buffet spread was served daily. We were able to get lattes with several different types of milk (regular, almond, soy). There were western choices and traditional Thai choices. Fresh eggs to order. The other restaurant is on the beach. You can get lunch/snacks and dinner there (special occasions or rain would move to the breakfast area). For dinner there were delicious Thai choices. They also had western/American food, but we ate Thai at all meals except a hamburger & fries once for lunch. 4) Drinks/Alcohol - We're not big drinkers, but I felt they had an adequate range of alcohol to make a variety of drinks/cocktails. I don't usually like sugary drinks, but the ones they serve in the fresh coconut and the fresh pineapple were delicious. They also had a fair selection of wines. We don't drink beer, but they did offer it. 5) Spa/Gym - We had Thai massages that were wonderful. There's a workout room with some free weights and several machines (elliptical, treadmill, rower). Very nice. 6) - Pool - beautiful pool that

This hotel is in a great location we stayed in one of the villas it looks lovely inside but we was put in one round the back and as two girls travelling. I did feel a bit unsafe walking back on the night as it was very dark and again fences where I think Staff must work. We didn’t eat breakfast here as it didn’t look very clean so can’t really comment on that the pool area was nice we had food around the pool one day. It wasn’t very nice and the cutlery was dirty so I would recommend eat out, the staff was very helpful. We had booked to stay here for four nights, but cut it short to 3 and that was not a problem. this hotel is located right on the beach, which was nice if you want to hire any boats or kayaks to go to monkey beach etc, we was a bit worried at first, as the safe didn’t work, but everything was fine and nothing got touched. Make sure to where deet when staying as we seemed to wake up with bites everyday , I would stay here again if I was in PP

We were booked into a standard room by our travel agent - we upgraded as the standard was a tiny room with shower over the toilet. Backpackers style. The superior room, like in above photo was lovely but from street level was 229 steps up a hill. Room was lovely and view was fantastic. Shower had no pressure at all so very difficult to wash hair or clean yourself. Staff were very helpful however and friendly and carried our bags up and down all the steps when we arrived and departed. Cheap to stay at and the upgrade for 2 nights was only approx $25 NZD so well worth it.

The team were generally pretty good, there when you needed them but also out of your way when you were relaxing. We had the Deluxe suite Seaview and the room itself was great, clean and ready to go. Balcony view was nothing short of spectacular. The bathroom whilst useful had one of the worst patch jobs I have seen, not a tradie but I could have done a better patch of the bath. The other item on walking into the room was the sheer volume of rules which also backed up at the pool. Can only assume they have had some trouble with guests in the past but have noticed on Phi Phi everywhere likes lots of rules. The beach restaurant was immaculate and nothing like a meal on the sand with a view second to none. Short walk to all the activities on the island and have to recommend the massage on site.

Jan'23: I honestly DON'T understand the 4/5 star reviews for this property. Most of them attribute it to the beautiful view from the pool. I do agree, the pool is awesome but only if you need to upload photos on IG. Other than that let me tell you some hard facts: 1. Room quality- These are smallest and darkest rooms I have ever been to. Century old furnishing, which feels like it will break down any moment. 2. Non functional AC - An AC which literally takes 45 minutes to get the room to a bearable temperature. 3. Inaccesible location - The property is literally the second last property on the island and away from all the stores, restaurants and bars. You have to walk atleast 15 minutes to get to the Tonsai market which you might need to do atleast 4-5 times a day. 4. Poor service- The staff were very rude and inconsiderate of any request that we had. No luggage carts, no fresh linen and completely non responsive to any request. I had to drag my luggage to the pier while leaving the property. 5. Exorbitant Pricing - I will concede that the pool view was great which is the reason that most people have rated 4/5 stars, but considering that we paid 125 USD for a night stay, you can get far better accommodation on Tonsai Beach with better furnishing and facilities. Koh Phi phi in itself is stunning and you will have far better spots to get those IG likes. Choose wisely.

All dark wood and very grounding traditional thai bungalows. The views to the beach from the front ones are bliss! The rest are all very close so don’t expect much privacy on your deck. Clever design. Simple. Affordable. Good wifi, water, aircon. No daily service. There’s rooms at the back that look cool and cheaper than the huts. I’d stay in them if not absolute front. The bed was crazy hard, but it may have just been mine. No top sheet, odd, just 2 Chelsea blankets. Please change that if the lender reads this. Neighbour told us on our last day that the owner has a menu that you can order from and have delivered!!! Wish we knew that earlier as the walk to main part is 20 mins. Besides all that. BLISS to walk onto the beach and swim or lay on their beach chairs.

Second stay at this resort, stayed for 5 nights. I don’t recognise any of the negative experiences. Our rooms were spotless and spacious. Air conditioning worked very well. If one thing not perfect would be the firmness of the bed but got used to it. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was sufficient. Freshly made simple omelettes, fried egg or hard boiled. Also toast, fresh fruit, Thai curries and rice. The pool was immaculate and the area clean and fresh. Our balcony area had wooden chairs and table. A few paces to a quiet beach and all very near restaurants and cafes and store. All at a good price. Will happily return.

A little corner of paradise by the sea, isolated from the hubbub of the party life of PhiPhi. Ideal for families, the accommodation on the hillside is simple but clean and functional, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes even if it is better to favor local cuisine, and above all, the beach overlooks a superb snorkeling area which can keep you in the water for hours. Also note the friendliness of the staff, who arrange your trips for you (reservation of boats, taxis, ... to the mainland).

Hotel itself is really nice, location is great; right at the center and best part is, the noise doesn’t get to the room so if you decide to stay-in it won’t bother you despite being right in the middle of the action. The pool’s size is enough and the kind of “infinity pool” has a great view to the bay. Straight Access to the beach and bars and have lots of green and the villas rooms you feel you are in the jungle. I stayed at the superior room within PP Princess although is just next to PP Charlie… room was not big and no balcony but was enough for my 3 nights stay. My first impression at reception was really bad, they need to work on ‘Customer Service’ the woman at reception had a long face and an attitude, then she could not find my paid reservation and she was demanding me to pay again — she got really rude when I refused and I showed her it shown as paid. She rolled her eyes at me and left me there without saying a word to get her manager. Manager had a better attitude and she accepted it was hotel’s mistake and apologized. Once arrived to the port, staff from hotel help you with luggage (see photo). My favourite part of hotel was the pool!! Hotel offers some excursions although around the island there are lots of agencies that offer better pricing and more options, just stroll around to compare. I didn’t get the breakfast, only paid for the first morning and to be honest the quality and variety could improve — not bad but there other better options at a walking distance. They have another “secret pool” which entrance is by the beach and is on a higher level (see photo) some rooms have direct access to it — I found that area was a bit neglected and old hence I preferred the main pool.

We booked our trip a while ago and the reviews seemed great. The closer our trip got the reviews seemed to worsen. But we were unable to change/cancel due to the rate we booked. On arrival we were welcomed by staff and given a cold bottle of water and cold flannel and handed a big list of do’s and don’ts whilst at the hotel. Including leaving your hotel key with reception when leaving the hotel meaning your AC didn’t work whilst out and about. Coming back to an extremely hot uncomfortable room. The hotel is right next to the mosque on the island and the tannoy goes of several times a day to announce prayer including around 5:30am. Very loud. But this can’t be helped, we should have thought about this whilst booking the hotel. Walls are paper thin. We were fortunate enough to between two friends so it was only our noise we could hear but I imagine if this was a stranger it would become annoying, to the point we could hear each others conversations through the walls. We paid for the swim up bungalow villas which apparently are the best rooms available at this hotel. They were filthy (see attached photos) and need of a deep clean and some serious TLC! Also whilst showering there is a terrible foist smell from the drains. And the water pressure is low, again could be down to location. The beds were like sleeping the floor they were that hard, but apparently these are how beds are in Thailand. But the beds have been excellent on the mainland at other stays. Unable to sleep. Little interaction with hotel staff other than check in but whilst writing this review a staff member walked past our room, and spat on the ground! The pool also is in need of some TLC and a full regrout. Be careful where you’re walking as some bits are sharp and appears to be full of grit/sand on the floor. The island itself is stunning but the hotel is lacking for the cost. This is a mid-range budget hotel for the island so would expect a much higher standard. Wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Rooms were large and spacious, and the pool was great! Location was perfect, only 40m walking from the pier. The beds were super hard but I think that’s the standard on the island as other friends in another hotel told us their beds were also very hard. There is a strong sewage smell at night that comes from the bathroom but again for the island I’m not sure you will find anything much better especially at short notice. I would suggest booking in advance for sure as hotels sell out quickly. The hotel was also right on the beach which was lovely.

We stayed from 29th January to 2nd February 2023. It's a lovely resort, and our oceanfront room no.102 was superb. The resort is well maintained, and services were very good. The rooms are also very nice with all facilities.Location is excellent with beautiful beach and blue ocean always in front of your eyes.Restaurant is nice and foods were of good variety and tastes. However, the breakfast(included in the tariff) spreads were basic and not very great. Staff were very courteous and helpful. They serve only two bottles of drinking water per day, and it is better to carry the water from the pier while going there. The resort is only accessible by long boat from Pier with a travel time of about 10mins.and each travel one way costs 100 Bath during daytime and 150 in the night. And night boat ride may not be suitable always particularly if the weather is not good. Otherwise, the resort is an excellent place to just relax and enjoy. There is no swimming pool either in this resort.

We are a couple in our 40s from Scotland. This hotel deserves more than 3 stars. The staff are so helpful and we got an upgrade to a superior hut as it was my 40th birthday. This is a very peaceful secluded area of phi phi island and good to enjoy the slower life. The food was delicious. There are only a few bars and restaurants in walking distance and these all stop serving at 10pm. The air conditioning is also not the best in the room as with them being huts it’s like a sauna when you first walk in. Please pack plenty of mosquito repellent as I had so many bites when I stayed here. We came over in the ferry and left our luggage back in our Phuket hotel, I would highly recommend bringing a small bag only here as it’s all boat transport. Apart from the small negatives I would not hesitate in returning to this tranquil hotel. Take a boat trip round the rest of the island. Bring Bahts too as there is no atm in this part. If you are looking for a Robinson Crusoe adventure, this is the place. We had a beach bungalow from which you can hear the sound of the waves at night. The room was very clean with a mosquito net and no bugs entered our room during our 2-night stay! The place feels remote but is only a 30-minute boat ride from Ton Sai. We didn’t bother with the hotel shuttle as we heard it’s really not convenient so we paid about 1000 bath for our transfer. The staff is very friendly and attentive which makes up for the food that’s very average and if I may, they need to up their game with the breakfast (Motel 6 like). Now, very important: If you want to get to the viewpoint via the path that’s near the Cove, please make sure you are well equipped. The path is extremely steep with tons of mosquitoes along the way that will eat you alive so wear the right shoes, long sleeves and be armed with a good deet-free mosquito spray. Once you get to the top, you can go back down via a clear road which leads to the charming and bustling village of Ton Sai.

Stayed for 4 nights at Cozy, really impressed with the staff and the accommodation. Apart from having to kill a cockroach pretty much as soon as we entered it was lovely. Great views, nice bed, electricity 24/7, pool, hot water and far enough from the main ***** that you couldn’t hear the music much but close enough to walk comfortably. They fixed our door that didn’t lock properly within an hour and took our bags to the pier when we left in the pouring rain. Being poor travellers we obviously don’t tip often but felt they deserved it. Couldn’t recommend more.

Where to start! If I could give this place minus ratings I would. Damp rooms smelling like sewage, toilet was unable to flush, the room was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned this millennium. Also heard a mouse in the air vents. We came from a 1 star hostel previously and that had better cleanliness than this place. Whilst the resort boasted a gorgeous sea view this was unable to make up for the horrendous facilities. You’d be better off sleeping on the beach. Breakfast was included… if you can call it breakfast. A few soggy pieces of Ham, some anaemic looking eggs and some questionable noodles made up the buffet. On top of all of this when we politely asked for a partial refund due to the state of the room, we were rudely told that because we had looked at the view and swam in the pool (both included in the hotel) that they were unable to compensate us. What’s worse is that we were spoken to like children and the man was incredibly rude despite us only asking for a partial refund with incredibly valid reasons. If you have any self worth please don’t waste your time with this joke of an establishment. Will not be returning.

The breakfast spread is good enough to start your day with… Relax in the pool or just across the pier to take a private tour in the Long Tail Boats. This a must do if you are staying in this Island. You will be surprised to watch the fire shows, music & dance at the beach Parties. This Island has some lovely restaurants with delicious local cuisine and a wide spread platter for Sea Food lovers. Chill with the “Chang Beer” and interesting Cocktails. We stayed for 3 nights and had a memorable time….Our room commanded a picturesque view!! We will definitely be back here. Only improvement required to be done by the Hotel Management is to renovate the bathrooms & fittings as these are dated.

The chalets in this resort are absolutely beautiful. If you get the one with the seaside view, it's amazing. You could literally just go out to the balcony and watch the sunrise. The food and drinks on the menu at the restaurant/bar were so extensive, of good quality, and surprisingly cheap. The servings are a little bit on the smaller side though. You can smoke anywhere (*********, cigarettes) around the pool and the bar, which was a big positive for me and my brothers, but could be a con for some too, so keep that in mind when coming here with children. They sell joints at the bar! The pool was really nice. Not the biggest, but there aren't many guests in the hotel so you don't have to worry about it being full. It has some jets in it that serve as little jaccuzzis. The water is always perfectly warm and the pool has a great view of the sea. The staff are all very nice and friendly and speak decent to good English. The receptionist was very accommodating to our requests and even helped us with booking boat rides and tours. The only slight negative is the location, since it's so secluded it was a little bit dead. Although, some might be looking for that kind of privacy and serenity. 10 minute walk to a nearby town with restaurants, shops, a **** dispensary, and massage places. A 30 minute walk to the long white sand beach on the other side. Really great stay here, would recommend. Although there's a lot of boat riding involved, so you'll either love or hate that! I did!

I booked 2 rooms on Saturday night 3 days before we left on the slower ferry from Phuket Rassada pier £10 each return. The rooms were nearly £70 each but there is a distinct difference in 4/5 star and 3 star on this island price wise. I opted for this 3 star as the higher ratings were too expensive or in the North of the Island. This hotel is slap bang in the middle and it’s perfect for going straight out into the narrow streets to mooch around. It’s was quiet in the evening , you get a free welcome drink and our room had air con and yes the beds are hard but I like it with a bad back. I fixed a light that was hanging down from the ceiling as I am a sparky , the water in the sink takes it time to drain but is fine. Rooms were clean , Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast buffet was lovely with no complaints about the food. The 2nd room the air con wasn’t working but they fixed it whilst we were out. The next morning we went on a boat trip to Maya beach 2000 baht booked and paid at hotel , guy came and picked us up to escort us to his long tail boat. Overall considering I booked it very late for £67 a room it was good. If you book further in advance it’s cheaper. The pool isn’t that big but it’s fine , use the beaches instead. Only 6 sun loungers but use the beaches that is the whole point in going to Phi Phi. They looked after our bags after we checked out to go on the trip , the lady behind the desk was so friendly. My tip if you have a problem is not to overreact , I was travelling with 2 Thais and they showed me this , be nice ti the Thai staff as they will be nice back to you. I would recommend staying at this hotel for 1/2/3 nights as the location is so perfect in the middle of the island. 5 minutes from pier. Beaches are just as close to walk to. Restaurants and bars are right outside the hotel 1 minute away. We had a really good time and were treated well , they send a person to greet you at the pier and to walk you to the hotel. Just look for the sign with the hotel name on it and a person holding it. Thanks PP Palmtree it was a pleasant stay.

This hotel is located at the southern tip of Ko Phi Phi Don. After the ferry arrives at the pier, you need to take a water bus to reach it. It takes more than 40 minutes by land. The hotel is an independent villa type. The rooms are large and clean. It is right next to the beach. Most rooms on the terrace can see the sea. The surrounding environment is very quiet. The beach is very long, but the beach that can go to the sea is not very long. Very comfortable, it's all integrated with the hotel. The hotel has its own restaurant, there are still many choices of food and drinks, and the price is moderate. It is not very expensive. The hotel is mostly European and American, and there are many Russians. It is a holiday. Good place to relax. The service was good and standard. Is the poor network, there is wifi in the hotel lobby, wifi in some places on the beach, I have almost no wifi in the room, domestic mobile wifi has no signal, I hope the hotel can improve facilities in this area. I still like this hotel very much, I will stay there if I have the chance, and will recommend it to friends!

We enjoyed our three-night stay at the hotel due to its commanding view of the area, isolation from the main town and arranging private long-tail boats tours. The hotel itself is located a short complimentary (check-in and checkout only) long-tail boat ride away from Ao Ton Sai Pier, which we had to wait a few minutes for after arriving by ferry. Once at the hotel, the staff greeted us and walked us up the several flights of stairs. Luggage is transported up to the hotel on a rail mounted cart. Our two bungalows (Bungalow West Seaview and Grand Seaview) had nice views of the Andaman Sea with lots of windows. The bungalows themselves were rather basic and would align with mid-range to slightly budget hotels. Our room was comfortable, including the bed, with all the features we needed and we enjoyed the bungalow feel with all its windows. I would have a preferred a nicer bathroom, due to the bungalows having a wet shower. The air conditioning was also a little noisy. Overall, I likely would pick the bungalow over a similarly appointed hotel with full bathroom. During our two full days, we hired a private long tail boat for 1,500-2,600 bhat/day (through the hotel). We enjoyed this option as we got to specify our schedule and got to Maya Bay before the tour groups. We also enjoyed snorkeling during our day tour. After the second day tour, I went snorkeling in front of the hotel by Shark Point. On our last morning, I asked the hotel about hiring a long-tail boat to take us to Shark Point and was quoted a 1,500 bhat, which felt really expensive considering it was a few hundred meters from the dock. I tried swimming out to Shark Point again, but the current/tide was too strong at times without flippers. You also need to be careful to avoid stepping on sea urchins. Overall, we would recommend the tours. The hotel itself is situated a 30 minute or so walk from the town center. However, we always took the long-tail boat, which cost 100 bhat/person before dusk and 150 bhat/person after. The hotel was fairly quick about getting long-tail boats to take us into town. However, hiring the long-tail boat by the pier to take us back to hotel was normally slow, as they seemed to wait for other people before departing. On one trip back (after a long wait) the boat left closer to the end of dusk and we got high-centered for a little while, due to the low tide. Typically, we would go into town in the late afternoon for groceries, arrange ferries, etc. and come back to have dinner at hotel next door. During Omicron, the town center was fairly busy near the water front, but away from main street many businesses were closed. I expect they all are open now. I preferred the quieter area surrounding the hotel and would likely choose to stay away from town center even if it meant dealing with expensive long-tail boat trips to town.

We had a wonderfull time here. Honestly, we were a bit freightened by some of the reviews before we got here, but none of it was true. Excellent location, hospitable host at the reception, clean and nice looking room with all the wood. There was a mistake in our booking that they were more than willing to fix without any additional costs. All in all, the price/quality ratio was great. I would advice them to redecorate the garden though. Although the pool is great, the lack of chairs or couches is rather inconvinient. And all the tiles make it warmer than it has to be.

Simply stunning location

Bad hotel. The location seems good as it is very close to the center where the shops and restaurants are, but the truth is it is a terrible location. When passing through a very beautiful and clean reception, they tell you that you must exit and go through an alley to enter the hotel. It is extremely poorly maintained with many flaws in finishing and cleaning. It looks more like a hostel than a hotel. In the bungalow that should be a more reserved accommodation, you hear the noise from all the other bungalows. And everywhere you look there is dust and something broken. There is an air conditioning inside the room, but it's as if it doesn't even have one because it doesn't work. We put it on 16⁰ C and it felt like it was just a fan. We stayed at the hotel for 2 hours and preferred to check out due to all these flaws. At the end, we asked to check out and request a refund for the remaining nights that we did not use. We didn't get a refund, because despite showing how different it was from what was advertised to reality, the receptionist informed us that they don't make any type of refund. This type of hotel is just to deceive tourists who don't know the region and pay a considerable amount for a hotel that isn't worth even 1% of its real value. We feel deceived and robbed.
