Check in was a breeze with luggage handlers helping carry your luggage from the pier to the hotel. The reception girls are really lovely and helpful with whatever request you might have(like booking boats to your next destination), just remember to say please and thank you(kohp khun ka/krap). The hotel is the last one on the pier side bay, therefore is really quiet, even now in high season. The down low is that you have to walk 20minutes to restaurants and bars on 30+ degree heat + high humity,so expect to arrive sweating both ways. The hotel itself is probably 40/50 years old and seems that never been renovated, the inside of the rooms need freshing up,paint etc...an overall renovation of the whole building. Although the rooms were clean, aircon was good and our room with the pool access(1 of 3) had great views from the bay. Pool was also clean and it was at a good temperature. If you are here for just a couple of days it is fine. Breakfast is basic but they have an egg station, so you can order your eggs however you prefer. And the black coffee was great too(better than other hotels we stayed in Bangkok/Krabi). The hotel staff were very kind to supply my wife with Flying Rabbit(a local thai version of gaviscon/diarrhoea medicine) which helped a mild food poisoning combined with charcoal tablets. Moreover, the hotel has a little private beach with sun lounges at the very end of the bay, perfect for chilling when you don't have any boat trips booked for the morning. Be aware that it becomes shady after around 3pm because its so close to the mountain. Also there were monkeys signs on your doors to keep them lock to prevent curious monkeys of rummaging through your stuff but we haven't seen any during our 3 night stay. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not unless completely renovated:, too far from the restaurants and bars and very old/tired. Make sure you use some walking shoes when going out because you definitely gonna hit that 10000 steps mark.

This is our 3rd time at the resort in recent years and it remains in our opinion the best higher end resort on the island.   It’s tucked away right in the corner of the main beach which means there is no passing traffic and a lot less day trippers about.   The rooms are lovely bamboo bungalow with en suite shower and although not very big there is plenty of space for what you need.  The beds are large and comfortable and the air con works well.   The whole setting is beautiful with the bungalows along sandy paths and surrounded by gardens and trees.   The resort has an amazing huge pool and more than enough sun loungers.  Breakfast is superb with lots of choice and it’s very fresh.  The bakery section in particular is excellent.  The only negative - and this is not at all the fault of the resort - is the noise at night from the parties at the other end of the beach.  Despite being a really long way away the noise travels across the bay / beach and it goes on until about 3:30am.   They provide you with ear plugs but we always take our own better ones with us which are more sound resistant.  Soundbloc putty earbuds if anyone is interested!  With these in you hear nothing and the resort is absolutely perfect.   We will be back i am sure

Great location if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. If you miss the hustle and bustle or want to visit the clubs, you can take a private taxi boat to Tonsai for about 1,000 THB one way. We stayed in the Ocean Sunset Room. Just a heads-up: it’s located on a hill, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Hotel has free buggy shuttle between 6:00-22:00. However, it's the perfect spot for sunset lovers since you can't actually see the sunset from the beach itself. Great value for couples! The private pool offers total privacy (perfect for swimming naked! :) )and an amazing view of the sun going down. The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony, but it felt a bit dated. The main issue was the water pressure in the shower - it was extremely low, which was disappointing considering the price. Breakfast was okay, pretty standard. If you’re looking for a great meal nearby, check out a local restaurant called 'Banyan' -delicious food, fair prices, and excellent service.

Great natural location away from town, really beautiful cabins on the hill, excellent beach and snorkelling at the resort, staff are excellent. I recently stayed at Phi Phi Bay View Resort for one night in a Deluxe Sea View room. The overall experience was pleasant, though I would not classify the property as truly luxurious compared to the price point. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the location—the view from the room was stunning, with beautiful beaches right in front of the property, accessible only to hotel guests. The resort also provides complimentary beach bags for in-house guests, which is a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety and quality. The staff were courteous and helpful, making the stay comfortable. However, the washroom facilities felt outdated and could benefit from renovation. Additionally, the main market is a bit far, so walking may not be convenient for everyone.

Service was excellent, every one from the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for me, but my friend found the long stairs from the road tiring. Cleanliness was good, but there was some moldy spots here and there in the bath room, which is quite usual in this humid country. Only thing is that the shower curtain was moldy too, which would have been cheap and easy to change. Facilities where good, there is an restaurant an little shop in the Hotel, wich was nice for lazy days.

I booked the cheapest room, but it still came with central air conditioning, which was nice. The pool was also quite large. The only downside was that there seemed to be some construction or renovation happening outside. It was very convenient to walk out for meals or to the pier. After a day out at sea, coming back to sleep there at night was perfect. It's great value for money. I didn't take any pictures of the room, so here are some from Maya Bay instead.

This was a really cute bungalow on the beach, which added to our experience of staying on Phi Phi. However, the bed was rock hard and the air con kept switching itself off in the night so we kept waking up sweating! The light from it was also really bright so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. You can also hear the whole island from your hut, and a lot of the Thai residents were working at night nearby, so it was very noisy and required ear plugs! There were lots of little bugs in the woodwork mainly, the shower wasn’t great and got the bathroom very wet. Also, any trips or taxi boats were quite expensive from the woman at reception, we managed to get a 4hr private long tail for 2300baht total. A lot of these things were to be expected, and isn’t too much of a complaint against the resort itself, but something for you to bear in mind when choosing to stay here.

The room was super spacious, about 40 square meters, and the bathroom was also large, over 10 square meters. There were two balconies on each side, each nearly 10 square meters, offering spectacular sunrise and sunset views and the entire magnificent sea view. The mountain scenery was delightful. The cleanliness was excellent, and they even provided disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors, which is rare in Thailand. The stay was fantastic. The front desk lady was also very helpful, fluent in English, and spoke a little Chinese. We weren't charged extra for our child. I'm sure she'll be able to provide full Chinese service next time! We'll most likely choose this place again when we visit Koh Phi Phi. The kids' playground wasn't fully open, but the big slide looked great.

Location: The hotel is located on the opposite side of Tonsai Pier. A hotel representative meets you upon arrival. You can reach the town by taking a path that passes two viewpoints. The path is challenging, but the view is unforgettable. We took a boat back. Beach: During our stay, high tide peaked between 11 AM and 12 PM, so comfortable swimming was only possible until about 2 PM. We also experienced strong winds and waves, making snorkeling uncomfortable. We managed to snorkel one day but didn't see anything particularly interesting; the Red Sea is much richer. Food: There's one cafe where all services (food, massages) are recorded, and you pay upon checkout. I can't say the food was bad; it was edible, BUT my children and I got severely ill with food poisoning. This ruined the rest of our vacation as we had to focus on recovery, overshadowing all the positive aspects of the hotel.

The biggest plus is the location. It's a 400m walk from the pier. The room is average, nothing fancy. Small but cozy. The bathroom is also tiny, you can't really move around if there are two people. The shower is just a hole, but there's hot water. It's a standard room. The grounds are beautiful. But the pool, that's just fantastic! There's a big pool and a smaller one for kids. The views from the pool out to the sea are also great.

The hotel is nice, very clean with a good location and very good facilities, it has two pools and one is located at the rooftop with very nice views. The only bad thing was on the breakfast buffet were the cooker refuse to prepare scrambled eggs with fresh eggs, he insisted in a rude way that the mix for the omelette made with milk, salt and butter was the same as fresh eggs. I have to complain with two manager just to have a simple breakfast. The hotel’s brochure pictures look great, but they don’t convey the unpleasant reality of the first-floor rooms. There was a strong moldy odor, and when we checked other rooms on the same floor with the hotel staff, all of them had the same smell. Only when we tried a room on the upper floor was the air fresh. The new room was at a lower rate, but the hotel only agreed to a partial refund, claiming we weren’t entitled to a full one due to their cancellation policy 🤨. This was very frustrating, as our request to change rooms was due to poor conditions, not by choice for any other reason.

I had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

The pathways, hotel grounds, and rooms are well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and responsive. Facilities: The garden villa room is spacious enough, with extra beds available in both the living room and bedroom, which was very convenient for our family of two adults and two children. The large balcony dried clothes quickly. However, the room was a bit old, the air conditioner was noisy, and the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened or closed. Service: We requested a room close to the snorkeling area in our booking, and they gave us a spot right in the middle of it, which was great. Upon arrival, we received welcome juice and a detailed resort explanation presented kneeling, a very nice touch. Food was delivered to the room, and overall, the service attitude was excellent. Environment: The resort has abundant vegetation and is quite expansive, making you feel like you're staying in a forest. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; after lying by the pool for a short while, I ended up with seven bites on my back. Every morning around 5 or 6 am, you can hear monkeys, various large birds, and boats, making it difficult to sleep in. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Aside from that: On our first day, we went out to a restaurant recommended by reviews, and our whole family ended up with food poisoning, spending two days recuperating at the hotel. Before leaving the island, I felt a bit disappointed and decided to check out the underwater situation. Luckily, I spotted Nemo! Nemo's location: From the restaurant, walk along the beach to the first beachfront room with a pool. Enter the water and look about 1 meter outside the right side of the floating buoy area, as circled in the picture. The anemone isn't very big, only about 20 centimeters, so you'll need to look carefully.

The resort is really a good place to stay and that's why we enjoyed it to the fullest. Their breakfast was an American buffet and it was good. They also took care of my vegetarian and dietary requirements, so the food was enjoyable. Amenities were good too, including the swimming pool, garden, a library and there were different cafes and restaurants where one could enjoy a meal when hungry. You could rent a kayak as well for 300 baht for two hours, which I found a bit unreasonable. The beach outside the resort was really good. Cleaning was not up to the mark as the cleaning staff would leave the used tissues and tea bags as it is on the table if they were not thrown into the basket already. I am not proud of saying that I did not throw them, but if I forgot somehow I would find them in the same place, which was annoying. Anyway, overall it was a great experience.

Cons: - terribly unfriendly staff, I have never seen anything like this in Thailand, - old, yellow and half-damp bed linen, - brown and dark blue towels that do not absorb well, - not very thorough cleaning of the beach, which is also done around 9 am, that is, if you come at 7-8 o'clock, the beach is creepy. On the 25th, I was checking out at 10:30 AM. I had trouble understanding the English spoken by one of the two receptionists, an older woman who seemed to be in a higher position. She then looked me up and down, shook her head, and said something in Thai to her colleague, mentioning 'Japanese' and some other words. I do resemble a Japanese person. Although I didn't understand the exact words, it felt like she was being dismissive and insulting me because I couldn't understand her English. This ****** encounter with the older receptionist on the last day of my vacation has left a bad taste in my mouth, and even a day later, I'm still upset. Not everyone in the world speaks fluent English, and not speaking English doesn't give you the right to disrespect me. Conversely, imagine if you were on vacation in another country, spending your precious time and money, and were disrespected because of your accent or pronunciation. Would your vacation still be enjoyable? If you're not fluent in English, I definitely do not recommend this place. There are plenty of other accommodations available.

I booked the Ocean Cliff Villa. I am was here on April 19th, and there were not alot people. They have a boat service that picks you up, and drops you off room the pier. There were maybe only 15 - 20 guest , and no kids were there 🙏🏿! The hotel is very excluded from the rest of the island, which is great if you enjoy calm, peace, and quiet. The room was very clean, and all amenities worked properly. (I like it cold, and the AC was very powerful). The WiFi in my room was strong. I streamed Netflix, watched the NBA playoffs, and facetimed my mama while I was here. The staff was very friendly. They always helped us with our bags, gave extra towels when needed, and would give us a ride up the hill if they saw us walking. The room I purchased was indeed up a slope so be very mindful of that if you have limitations. The breakfast was included in my room, and it was good. For lunch/Dinner I ordered chicken fried rice and beef pad thai. It was very good. I am also very greedy and I eat almost anything so I am not the best person to give a food review, lol. I only stayed on night and I am seriously considering adjusting my vacation schedule so I can come back before I return to the states. 1 night was not enough. If you want to party, please do not ome here, and disturb the peace. There are plenty of other places in Thailand for that. If you want to kick back, vibe, and relax this is your place.

This hotel offers cozy bungalows that are a real treat to stay in. Some of them boast stunning views of the bay, which was a highlight of my trip. The grounds are beautifully green and well-kept, adding to the overall charm. The hotel is perched on a slope, though, and in the heat, trekking up to your bungalow can be quite a challenge. One wild moment was when monkeys from the nearby forest climbed onto our balcony, scattered our stuff, and even left a mess on the sunbed! The staff were fantastic, always friendly and helpful. However, the music from the nearby bars was a major downside—it’s loud and makes sleeping tough. However, it could improve in terms of amenities, as there were none provided. At the very least, it would be nice to have slippers available. In my room, the fridge wasn't working, which could be problematic during the summer. Thankfully, I brought my own amenities, so I managed to make do. This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding.

This hotel is a classic case of stunning views but seriously lacking service and management. There's a complete disconnect between different departments and internal management is a mess. At lunch, the staff were sitting at the best sea-view table with a fan blowing directly on them, while guests had no fan! 😂 After we pointed it out, they turned it towards us. The location and views are definitely the strong points; the room facilities are good, with hillside sea views and a great restaurant view. However, the front desk and management are totally out of sync: senior management said there was a free speedboat shuttle, but the front desk said no. It's clear there's no internal training or communication. The dining issues were even worse: I found a fly in my Tom Yum soup, and they just refunded the money without any apology or explanation. Breakfast also had flies everywhere, and their measures to combat them were completely inadequate. The in-room phone ☎️ wasn't working, so I had to use the hotel app to message them for things like calling a car (due to the hillside location) or extra towels. The responses were a bit problematic and inconsistent.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! The details provided in the description are very misleading. There is no reference to the fact that the bedrooms are swamped by club music and base thumping between 20:00pm and 2:30am every day. So severe is the noise pollution that rooms are provided with complementary earbuds. However, you can still hear the music and thumping noise with those in. The main purpose of a hotel is to provide a comfortable place to sleep. Given that the rooms are not soundproofed, I found it impossible to sleep until the early hours of the morning for the three nights I stayed at this establishment. Having raised a complaint with the manager, I was moved, for the last night, to a bungalow, which is supposed to have less noise pollution. That is true, but the music and thumping are still to be heard, and kept me awake until around 2:30am. Whilst the source of the nuisance is not the hotel, what has frustrated me the most is that the disturbance - which is clearly a regular occurrence - was not disclosed in the marketing. Of course, by doing so they would most certainly put customers like me off, but at least the hotel would have been honest, and set fair expectations. I would never stay at this hotel again, and recommend that you all avoid it!

Amazing hotel! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the hotel was well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Great location, easy to access the whole town but not noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful, our bags were carried to our room and there is also a pier collection service. However we weren't aware of this so made our own way to the hotel so be sure to ask! The bed is clean, comfortable and big! Water, tea and coffee everyday with room clean if needed. The drain in our shower was blocked when we arrived but we reported this and it was swiftly fixed. There is a small communal area downstairs for games, reading, drinks with friends etc but it's never loud/busy. There is also a night manager who is available in the front lobby throughout the night which I really liked and made me feel safe. He has excellent English and is kind and helpful. Be aware that you must have a 1k Baht cash deposit on check in. We had no issues getting it back at checkout. (Unrelated note: The hotel is nearby to a great trip operator - book the early bird Maya Bay trip with Sawsdee Phi Phi, you won't regret it. We also booked our ferry through him and it all went smoothly and much cheaper than GYG or 12Go.)

Excellent hotel! Everything is close by, right in the heart of the island. It's not suitable for those who need complete silence to sleep. The room was very clean. The staff were friendly and responsive. The coffee was delicious in the morning, and they had cookies too! Thank you very much!

The hallway had a bit of an odor, which was definitely noticeable, but by 9 or 10 PM, the music volume had significantly lowered. Overall, it's decent value for money, but I'm really curious why there are 'no sexy activities' signs plastered all over the front desk, terms and conditions, and bathrooms. What exactly happened here?

Booked the cheapest room, but got a free upgrade upon arrival. Also they allowed me to check-in earlier, which was very nice. The house I stayed in was very clean, no bugs at all. Some things to keep in mind: - the resort is quite big, so if you end up staying in farther houses, you’ll need to walk to the restaurant and Viking beach for around 5 minutes. The pathways are kinda steep, so it can be inconvenient for elderly and kids or at night; - the walk from the pier to the resort takes around 25 minutes. The views along the way are spectacular. The pathway is manageable even if you wear flip-flops, but I don’t think you should try it if your group has an elder or a kid. I’ll attach some photos of the path for reference; - there’s a lot of cats! Sadly I didn’t have any cat food with me. So if you have a chance, bring cat food! 😁 - you can actually walk to the Long Beach, it will take 5 minutes or so. But the path is not for a weak… You need to hold ropes to climb or to get down. The last photo is the part of that path.

This pretty new hotel is located right beside the Tonsai Pier, which is bery convenient if you are travelling to Phi Phi with a lot of baggage. Despite its location, it was was quiet during the nights so we had a good sleep. Lots of great cafes are nearby, including Much & Mellow and Mango Garden where you can have western style breakfast and brunch. The hotel stuff was super friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the early check-in that was provided to free. Also the view from our room was super cool! And the room itself was fresh and cozy. Overall a nice hotel to stay at.

I stayed here during my trip to Koh Phi Phi, and first off, the location is unbeatable! It's super convenient to get anywhere, and even though the facilities are a bit old, they were clean. Any issues I had were quickly addressed, and they provided all the services you'd expect, like cleaning and luggage storage. Given that accommodations on Koh Phi Phi are generally a bit older, I went in with that expectation and was very satisfied overall! I'd love to stay here again on my next trip. Had a great stay!

Good location, amazing scenes. Fantastic view. Cleaning service daily which is great! Amazing beach views and location right near the port. Friendly staff. Breakfast was pleasant. Cons: - cockroaches can easily get in under the door as there is a large gap we had like 2 cockroaches over 3 days. - bathroom a bit outdated but not a problem.

First, the pros: – Convenient location – close to the ferry. – Friendly staff: they helped carry our luggage and allowed us to check in early. Now, the cons: – The hotel is clearly in need of renovation. – We were given a windowless room, despite windows being shown in the photos. It was very difficult to be in the room without natural light. – The air conditioning didn't work properly: it blew hot then cold air intermittently. – The bed was uncomfortable. – The spoons in the room were so old and tarnished that they were unpleasant to use – we didn't even bother making coffee. – The toilet seat was yellowed with age. We're not picky people, but unfortunately, we were disappointed this time.
