The Cove Phi Phi

Well, it was such a disappointment! I’ll start from the pluses it’s a nice view and beach, but that’s it, you can find the same on the other parts of Phi-Phi. The staff is weird! Waitresses will not pay attention to you at all, so if you want to make an order you need to wait for a long time or go and take a menu yourself. After I check out I noticed that I forgot my swimsuit in the room (that’s for sure, because we saw it yesterday night, checked out today morning and checked all of our bags for thousands times) we decided to call them, they said they didn’t find anything, so we kept checking our bags, we called them again for double check the room, but they didn’t pick up the phone. So, if you forget something there, you’ll not take it back. They don’t have room service, I said if they can help me to bring my order to the room and they said no, I should do it myself, but room is pretty high on the cliff, also we asked to give us a guy who will help with the baggage to bring it down for check out and when we asked him to wait for 5 min cause we didn’t finish packing yet, he left, so we needed to ask them again. It’s a nice place, but awful staff and service, go somewhere else

Very cozy beach bungalow. Water comes at night and before midday. Bugs and lizards in a bungalow is normal. A good place for a peaceful relaxation for 3 days

Our stay at The Cove was great! It’s a short boat ride to the mainland where there’s lots of shops and restaurants- the hotel offers a boat taxi service at certain times of the day for a small price. The restaurant at the hotel was great with lots of options to choose from and really friendly staff. Our room was a super cute hut up the hill that included a mosquito net over the bed and hot water which was handy. The Cove has its own beach which was picturesque and had places to sit. It also has its own shop! Overall our stay at The Cove was great and we would stay here again!

We had a small familiy reunion, and stayed at The Cove for 4 nights. We enjoyed it. The beach is lovely and right there. You can swim and snorkel any time of the day. The cabins are cute and have a small kettle and fridge. They have good food which is not too expensive and their service is alright, they changed our room with no issues and fixed things when we had issues. They have boat trips which we enjoyed that leave from the resort. There is a hike from the resort to the main pier and has amazing views, but it is toughz Overall we all had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway with no rush.

We loved the Cove at PP. We were a bit nervous as some of the reviews had been bad but we couldn’t see anything wrong with it. We had a bit of a choppy ride to the hotel and Ponza but that was quite fun. I love the rooms, love the location. It is steep but you just get used to that. I love doing the jungle walk and loved everything about it.
