I was traveling solo and on a budget, so I chose Dayin Youth Hostel. After my stay, I found it to be affordable and great value for money, perfectly meeting my needs. First off: the location is excellent, with convenient transportation. Dayin is less than 200 meters from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and about 300 meters from People's Square Metro Station. It's also very close to major attractions, usually just 2 or 3 metro stops away, which is incredibly convenient! The room environment was quite clean. The sheets and duvet covers were individually packaged, clean, and ironed. Although I had to make the bed myself, which was a little extra work, it gave me peace of mind. Upon check-in, you receive disposable sheets and slippers. The room comes with a lockable locker, which is a huge plus, and the bed curtain provides excellent blackout, ensuring great privacy! The common areas are spacious and well-equipped. The public restrooms and shower rooms are well-maintained. The makeup mirror in the public restroom is large, and the toilets and showers are separate, with plenty of stalls, so waiting is rarely an issue.

The room was spacious and generally clean, but the soundproofing wasn't great. I was staying overnight for a connecting flight and was woken up by people talking loudly in the hallway. It's possible they were just very loud, though. The room had a window, but it faced the bathroom – luckily, there was a curtain to block it out. The hotel offers airport shuttle service, but when I tried to call the number they gave me from the airport, it was constantly busy, so I ended up taking a taxi myself. The drop-off service to the airport, however, was perfectly fine; I took the hotel's car.

Very nice hotel. Better than expected location due to some error on Google Maps. Within 5 mins to Nanjing Pedestrian Street. The receptionist is very courteous. Friendly. The room is clean. Spacious. Guest Laundry can be crowded due to some inconsiderate guests. Unlimited supply of bottled water from reception. Bathroom glass door a bit awkward because it is semi-tinted (semi see through 😅) Will come back to this hotel if I return to visit Shanghai.

The hotel's dinner buffet was simple but perfectly sufficient to fill you up. If you don't fancy it, there are many shops to choose from downstairs at the airport, which is very convenient. The hotel service was a bit casual, but it fully met our needs. Overall, I still highly recommend it.

We made a one-night stop here on our 10-day trip, after exploring Hangzhou and Suzhou - and we were revisiting, having already enjoyed four lovely nights here earlier. The stay was pleasant and comfortable, with a appreciated free shuttle service to nearby spots. But the highlight was the complimentary supper every night after 9pm - delicious wonton, noodles, and rice noodles! The staff were friendly, polite, and courteous throughout, making our stay even more wonderful!

This place was okay, I would not book here again. It is definitely in a good spot right downstairs is Nanjing road so you have alot of shopping and food halls right outside your room. Staff is super friendly and very helpful especially the cleaning staff. Made sure we got water atleast once a day and would ask us if we need new towels if they saw us. Depending on where they put you, you may end up having to take a pretty far walk to your hotel room. You’ll need to take an elevator up to the main lobby and depending on the room you will need to take another elevator up. But if you are on an floor higher then 6 be prepared to hike to your room most inconvenient part of the stay to be honest. The room also has an AC, Heater option you can set which is very handy and a window that can open partially. The room was overall nice and clean but the compliments stop there, as the room is way to dim especially the bathroom cant really see much in there and it is also very tiny you can barely move in there. You literally cannot close the door if you’re standing at the sink or sitting on the toilet. The shower drain also has a bad smell like sewer pipes that come up when youre using the shower and it takes awhile for it to go away. The shower pressure was okay until my 3rd day there and when I showered the water pressure was non existent and limp even tho the water is being poured on my body the pressure was so low it didnt even feel like anything was hitting me. At one point the pressure dropped to 0 and it was trickling out the shower head. The next morning though it was back to normal so not sure what happened. The shower area also floods the bathrooms as we had 3 rooms and all rooms had some form of flooding post shower. And 1 was really bad. Which we complained about and they gave us another room.   They also had a laundry room with 3 small washers and 3 small dryers not ment for bulk washing, and also free detergent. The washer was good but the dryer… unless you are ready to hang dry your clothes do not wash your clothes here as we ran the clothes in the dryer for 2-3 hrs and the clothes were still damp. And when we asked the staff they told us the dryer only dries enough for it to stay damp and you will need to air dry the rest which is ridiculous. Why have a dryer when it doesn’t do what it’s meant to do? Make it make sense. Overall besides location and friendly staff there is definitely better locations to choose from. I would not stay here again.

Even though the hotel is only 400 meters from the station, the staff explained that they continue the shuttle service to prioritize guest experience, considering factors like guests having a lot of luggage, mothers with children facing safety issues crossing traffic, and inconvenience during rainy weather. Honestly, it's impossible not to give such a hotel a good review. The guest rooms also have a very cozy ambiance, and the pillows are incredibly comfortable! 👍👍👍

Thanks to all the previous reviews, my check-in was very smooth. I stayed in a single room with one single bed and a sofa. Although the room was small, it was enough for one person. It seems like the double rooms just replace the sofa with another single bed. The hotel staff were excellent and very enthusiastic. I didn't encounter any unpleasant experiences. The facilities aren't particularly new. The bath towels were a bit frayed from washing. The toothpaste was surprisingly hard, like candy, which I wasn't used to. There's no drinking water provided in the room; you have to get it yourself from a designated spot. Hong Kong's environmental efforts are very thorough. It was very convenient to take the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, and then from the hotel to Disneyland and Tung Chung. Overall a good experience. The location was perfect for me, just outside the metro entrance, many buses around and walkable distance to some nice neighbourhoods. The room (no. 10) was not 4 beds but 6 which is fine, but not what advertised. For me, the main disadvantage was that there was no locker, not for the bags and not for smaller items, which meant that bags were just lying on the floor of a quite small room and they weren't really secured. Also, the bathroom is inside the bedroom and the shower just gets everything wet inside - for me it was okay and the soundproofing was surprisingly good, but just be aware. Although there wasn't anyone at reception when I arrived, the answered through whatsapp very fast and gave all the necessary information.

Excellent location, right next to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and easily accessible by airport bus A21/A22. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, and they offer luggage storage. There's also a shared kitchen on the 2nd floor, complete with a fridge and microwave. Due to Hong Kong's plastic reduction policy, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, slippers, and towel, or you can purchase them at the front desk. The room looks exactly like the pictures. They provide a key card that doubles as an elevator and room key, so security feels quite high. In the quad room, there's an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower area. While small, it's perfectly functional. Downstairs, there are many fantastic snack shops, all serving delicious food! Transportation is very convenient, and the beds are quite comfortable and clean. There's a slight creaking sound when turning over, but it's acceptable. Roommates are a bit of a lottery; this time, I ended up with night owls who came back late, showered, and organized their belongings, which really disturbed my sleep. However, that's just the nature of shared accommodation. Despite that, I'm still quite satisfied with the room itself. Nearby, the Tin Hau Temple and Yau Ma Tei Police Station are great spots to check out, both within walking distance. And definitely try Chan Kee Roasted Goose – it's absolutely delicious!

The room itself was spacious and spotless, with elegant and cozy European-inspired decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was generously sized. The facilities were top-notch: fast, reliable internet, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, and an electronic safe. They even offered a free shoe-shine service – attention to detail was exceptional. The biggest surprise was the 25-meter outdoor heated swimming pool, where I could swim while admiring the Victoria Harbour views. The fitness center and spa were also excellent for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was fresh and diverse, offering a full spread of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff were warm, efficient, and spoke excellent Chinese, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Whether for business or family travel, this is a top choice in Hong Kong. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Arrived at Daxing Airport at 1 AM. Was able to check into the room booked for the previous day. After picking up my luggage at the airport, I turned right and walked straight ahead until I reached this hotel. If I had walked straight without turning right, I would have found the Cotton Hotel, which is probably easier to locate, but it would have been over 200 yuan more expensive per night. The hotel is very convenient. Now that I know where it is, I'll stay here again next time. It's very suitable for late-night flights. Not far from the hotel, there are several restaurants inside the airport, including a 24-hour McDonald's. The hotel is new, and the breakfast is excellent. They don't rush you out even if you stay past breakfast hours. Cons: 1. The room is a bit small, but manageable. 2. Soundproofing is terrible. We were talking at a normal volume at night, and the neighbors knocked on our door to ask us to be quiet. This made us whisper late at night, afraid to make any noise. 3. The bathroom doesn't have a wet/dry separation. The shower area floods easily. 4. Try to book a room with a window; those without windows feel like a prison.

Everyone I met from the moment I walked in was smiling. In the cool autumn air, the first warmth I felt from Beijing came from Manxin Hotel, and it wasn't a perfunctory warmth. Everyone's smile was genuine, their eyes full of kindness. They offered hot tea during check-in, reminded us about the temperature when we left, and even told us where to eat and catch transportation more conveniently. Having stayed in so many hotels, this front desk service team truly deserves a perfect 10, especially for their absolutely seamless teamwork. Detail 2 – Next, kudos for helping solve a problem. My friend was coming the next day, but the hotel was fully booked. I thought since it wasn't peak season, booking a room would be easy, but we unexpectedly had no place to stay. The front desk helped contact nearby hotels for my friend to stay at. Not only was the price affordable, but the quality was also good. They honestly didn't have to bother, but they kept trying to find solutions, and for that, I am truly grateful. Detail 3 – Finally, praise for the meticulous service. Our family drinks a lot of water. Each room has bottled water, but we have a habit of brewing tea at night, so we'd call for more bottled water. The next day, it became four bottles, and the day after, eight. They probably knew we loved drinking water and consumed a lot, so they prepared even more. We usually bring our own bedding for the kids, and when we came back at night, we found the comforters and clothes neatly folded. The child's comfort toy was placed between the pillows. What was especially thoughtful was that the disposable toilet seat covers were thrown away daily and replaced with a new, unopened one. The children's slippers were also prepared according to their shoe size. A special mention: my child absolutely loved the scent of the complimentary kids' toothpaste, making brushing teeth much more proactive. On the first day, we received a welcome fruit platter with three or four kinds of fruit, and a souvenir when we checked out. From there, you have to walk approximately 800 metres. It was absolutely amazing and cozy I booked the bunk bed room and I love how small it is just to sleep each bunk had its own tv which I loved and it’s kind of set up like dorms when the whole floor shares two bathrooms but you can use the bathroom on any floor as long as you have your room key to get in and the location is next to this cute cafe and sushi places. But depending on the room you get there might be a bathroom already in the room.

All staff were welcoming and professional throughout the 1 week stay. Room was reasonable size and had a small work station which doubled as a meals station. Great long view over the First Calvary Cemetery (the largest Cemetery in the US, with over 3 million interred) across to the city.

This hotel feels a bit like an old car, but it's a decent option for a layover near Newark Airport. They offer an airport shuttle, though it doesn't run very frequently. The breakfast was particularly bad, and the plates looked like they weren't even washed properly. I even overheard a Chinese gentleman in the restaurant constantly complaining about it.

The location is excellent. Times Square is just a 3-5 minute walk away, and Central Park is only a few minutes further. The Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center are also very close. The place was very clean, and the rooms were spacious. There are plenty of convenient dining options nearby. The service was also excellent. Please note that key card access is required to enter the lobby after hours.

We are a family of three, including children, and for some reason we only got two sets of towels each time. When I filled the bathtub with hot water, it was muddy, so I felt that the water quality was not as good as in Japan. Soap bottles installed in the bathroom sometimes do not come out when pushed.However, we had to put up with it because it was fixed to the wall. There are no toothbrushes, slippers, or kettles in the rooms, so you will need to bring your own. The refrigerator in the room used to cool well, but every few times, the door would not open even after a strong pull. The room facilities were not very good, but the location was very good. There is a CVS, Macy's, 7-Eleven, and Starbucks less than a 5 minute walk away. Personally, I enjoyed the bakery Tour les jour so much that I highly recommend a visit. The subway entrance was conveniently located less than a minute's walk from the hotel.

Overall, a decent budget stay for NYC. We appreciated the separate bunk beds for my sister and I, but we did find stains in the bedsheet and had to ask for a new set. Also, perhaps it’s summer, but the beds didn’t have actual duvets or comforters; there were thin throw blankets. Also, the pillows were super soft and had an odd smell so I didn’t end up sleeping with pillows. The cleaning lady on my floor was very friendly though and offered to change our towels and empty our trash everyday. The other typical hotel room amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, water, etc.) were not provided. Location is great and very central to NYC so no complaints there. We also used the luggage storage and airport car service. We checked out at noon, went out for lunch, and came back to the car we booked. The prices are very reasonable: we paid $90 (+$10 tip) for a car to JFK that fit two people and four suitcases. A great deal compared to the at least $150 on Uber. Overall a decent stay in NYC if you are on a budget.

My stay was comfortable and pleasant. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all essential amenities. Staff members were courteous and attentive, ensuring a smooth experience throughout my visit. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions. Overall, excellent value and a relaxing stay. 5 minutes away from Exhibition Centre.

Absolutely fell in love with this apartment! The cleanliness is incredibly reliable; housekeeping meticulously cleans every day, bed linens are changed promptly, and there's no water residue or strange odors in the bathroom. The facilities are super convenient; Wi-Fi is stable and fast, there's a large capacity refrigerator for my late-night work meals, and a microwave and kettle are always available. I could even borrow a power strip. The environment is quiet and peaceful; the room has excellent soundproofing, so I wasn't disturbed even when working late into the night. The window offers an expansive view, allowing me to relax my eyes when I'm tired, and good ventilation helps alleviate work fatigue. The front desk service is incredibly warm; knowing I was working late, they specifically asked housekeeping to clean later in the morning, helped me collect food deliveries and packages, provided complimentary tea bags, and even printed some documents I needed for work. They made working late feel a lot less grueling.

Had a fantastic stay at this Ramada. The room was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, making for a very comfortable experience. The front desk staff were excellent, very efficient, and even gave us a room upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is superb, very close to the North Station, making travel incredibly convenient. Overall, it's a highly recommendable hotel with attentive service, a pleasant environment, and easy access. Highly recommend!

An incredibly delightful stay, I'll definitely be back! From the moment I entered the lobby, I felt a warm welcome. The front desk staff had the sweetest smiles and checked me in super quickly. They even proactively introduced me to the hotel's facilities and nearby dining options – excellent attention to detail! The room itself was very clean and tidy, with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mattress offered just the right amount of support; I had an incredibly refreshing night's sleep! The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, hot water came quickly, and the toiletries had a subtle, pleasant fragrance that felt very nice to use. The view from the window was expansive, and in the morning, when I drew back the curtains and the sunlight streamed in, my mood instantly brightened.

Late at night, after crossing the border from Hong Kong to Futian, we randomly picked this hotel. By the time we checked in, I was utterly exhausted. The male front desk staff member was incredibly friendly and even offered us Cokes. We booked a king room; it wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for two people or even a family of three. The hygiene and facilities were clean and well-maintained, though you might consider bringing your own toilet seat covers if you're particular. I forgot to snap any photos, but it was genuinely good.

The great part is the location very convenient few minutes walk to MRT Hua Qiang Lu and shopping mall. And the price is affordable and consider cheap. I stay in level 5 corner unit, from window can see the main shopping mall  but a bit noisy from the car sound even if I closed the window. The roof top having 2 whaling machines for clothing . But I only found it on my last day. I stayed 3 nights in Maker Hotel.

Classy place that acts like a hotel but is definitely a hostel. My room was very comfortable and I had lots of storage and plug-ins at my bunk. The rooftop had an event going on so couldn't use it unfortunately. The location isn't the nicest but is walking distance to the train station which was very convenient and why I booked it. Not outside food or drink allowed unfortunately.

Very close to the airport with a free shuttle service, and the driver helped with our luggage. The room facilities are a bit old, especially the bathtub in the bathroom, but the cleanliness was good. The front desk staff's attitude was so-so, but they did give us the quiet room we requested. We stayed one night after arriving late, making it convenient to pick up a rental car the next day. Overall, it's pretty good value for money. There were a lot of airline crew members staying there, which made it feel very safe.

The facilities are quite basic, similar to a budget hotel in China. The room was clean and tidy. There was no kettle, no toiletries, and no slippers (which seems to be common in hotels abroad). They did provide shampoo and shower gel. The hotel lobby has a small pantry area offering coffee and hot water, but it's time-limited: from 7 AM to 10 AM. Within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, there are a few restaurants and small supermarkets. I chose this affordable hotel for a daytime layover during an airport transfer to shower and rest, not for an overnight stay. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from the airport every hour on the hour.

We arrived almost midnight! Smooth check in and check out. Staffs were excellent at service. Kind, helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff did an amazing job keeping the rooms and bathrooms super clean. Beds were so comfy till we couldn't wake up. We felt so good under the hot shower after a long flight. Location is perfect. Shuttle service is 24hrs to and fro LAX Airport. Ohh... Breakfast was simple yet delicious. Definitely worth it and we would return for longer stay. Highly recommended to everyone👍😁

The hotel is located away from the city center, but close to the airport. They don't serve breakfast or meals. For a short stay, it might be a good option. It's clean and the bed is comfortable. Few amenities. One major drawback is that they don't have a left-luggage office, so you can't leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out. If you have time to visit, you have to carry your luggage. Free coffee and water.

I booked this hotel as a last minute option and was so pleasantly surprised! The hotel was fantastic with a clean room and great service from all staff I encountered. There was even a wall with tap beers you could pour and purchase in the lobby. I also really appreciated that there was a $25 credit given for food and drinks, so I went to the rooftop. The view from the rooftop was AMAZING and the bar staff were so kind. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely return or recommend to friends!
