It was a disappointing stay because the double bed room where I stayed was noisy. The room is placed near some machinery which gives permanent noise in the room. I had to permanently wear ear wax to feel comfortable. On top, the hotel had some work in process so it was a bit of a loud environment! Nice staff. The room was small but with everything needed. The hostel is well located. Price was high, I guess that this was due to the May Holiday. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased extra. It was plentiful. There is a nice bar with good music and a laundry place.

The hotel is conveniently located just within 100 meters of Nanjing Pedestrian Street, easy access to shopping and dining. However, the entrance on Level 1 is right along a busy road, making drop-off and pickup inconvenient due to frequent traffic congestion. There is only a single elevator that goes up to the main lobby on Level 4, which can be a bottleneck during peak times. The hotel itself feels dated, with rooms and facilities showing signs of age. For an old hotel, the cleanliness from housekeeping and room smell is acceptable. However, the rooms are weary; there’s mould surrounding the aircon vent and the shower heads look equally as grimy. The rain shower was faulty and the shower stand can’t really hold the shower head up. Service is also subpar for a four star hotel (according to them) but they do speak English which is great—in comparison to my previous hotel in Beijing. The location is amazing though—you’re right at the start of Nanjing Pedestrian Street. But be warned that the didi location of the hotel is wrong. I would stay stay here if you’re on a budget but the rooms aren’t even cheap…so I wouldn’t recommend unless you really want to stay on Nanjing Street.

It’s okay for one night stay at the airport, if you have no other choice. Hot shower, comfy bed, relatively short walk from the arrival and departure halls. However, if you are unlucky like me don’t expect any stunning view (see the picture). Wifi was extremely slow. Finally, no USB chargers, just Chinese plugs so you will need an adapter if you need charging your electronic devices.

We were visiting Shanghai Disneyland for the weekend and found this small hotel to be quite close to the Disneyland resort. Booking the hotel was incredibly easy and efficient. The gentleman at reception was extremely kind and helpful. He organized transport to pick us up from the train station, took us to and collected us from Disneyland on Saturday as well as drive us back to the train station. We had requested for some beers before arriving and the receptionist guy ordered it and placed it in my room which I found was an endearing gesture. I did not make it for breakfast so I can’t comment on that, but there is a dining area right next to the carousel outside. The little play area was also fun for the little child we were traveling with. The location was excellent as we were visiting the Disneyland Resort, however, nothing else seemed to be close to this hotel. The shops on ******* were quite far and took a while to deliver. It’s a brilliant place, neatly tucked away from the busy city centre. Thank you for your service and providing help whenever we requested for things. Oh, and one of the hotel managers gave me hiss jumper😅😅😅

However, the room was quite small for two people, especially with a lot of luggage — it felt cramped. We had dinner at the restaurant near the lobby but found it to be significantly overpriced. Additionally, amenities like the rooftop and pool closed early, so we weren’t able to enjoy them after dinner. Overall, it is a convenient stay but with some drawbacks.

The location is very good. You reach LKF and pretty much everything on HK island pretty fast. The hotel is very close to an MTR station. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed. However, it was quite small and as two people we struggled to find a place where to put our clothes and suitcases (there is not much space on the floor). The staff was very helpful and we had a very nice stay there overall.

Great location! Very convenient and accessible to everything. There’s a bus stop going to HKIA and a train station nearby. Plenty of food options everywhere. The room is just right for two people. If you’re not too picky, this place is perfect for you. Sometimes, the elevator to the hotel can get crowded, so you may need to wait a bit. The elevator also has a strong smell sometimes, probably from Indian food, but other than that, we had a smooth stay.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay! Our experience at the Hong Kong Empire Hotel Wan Chai was nothing short of exceptional. Check in were not so good experience, no staff were there, tried to call the number, but no one pickup. Waited almost 30 minutes. Decided to went on for dinner nearby. Check in were fine after that when staff is back. Friendly staff. Location is walking distance to Temple Street and Kowloon. Lots of attraction n food selection nearby. Room were abit small, but understandable. Ok for 1 person stay. I will come back again for next trip stay. Thank you. 😊

Pros: 1) Excellent Location right at market 2) Room amenities & cleanliness are top notch in the hotel . 3) Breakfast is sumptuous and has a really wide variety in the buffet options . 4) Concierge desk is super . Very helpful staff. 5) Housekeeping staff is super quick & efficient . Area of improvement: -Reception staff needs to improve on courtesy and manners . They are very cold and need to be more courteous and customer friendly . -Reception charged 10 HKD$ extra for a page print of your flight ticket even after staying in The Mira suite room. This is really annoying and unexpected from such a big hotel to levy such petty charges on print outs . Some things are not expected from a star category hotel . The management should look into this petty things & try to make small amends.

Nice hotel. Good location - everything was very close on the strip. Rooms are big and clean. Hotel has several good restaurants, we had breakfast and one dinner at Mon Ami Gabi - very good. There was confusion about room types. Fountain view rooms appeared to be worse (lower floor) than with Eiffel view. Nevertheless, fountain view is also good if floor is no less than 10th (we got 12th). Otherwise, you will not see Bellagio fountains. One day there was no water from 11am to 3pm (hotel notified about this since all the rooms were affected). Although, we have not noticed it - enjoying Las Vegas that time.

We stayed at Masquerade tower. It's not as fancy as its website's photos. Maybe those photos referred to Ipanema tower. The room was clean. The front desk check-in experience was good. We enjoyed our stay and had the great city view (on the 20th floor). We did experience some issues if Rio improved them. 1. Our room was at the end of the hallway. We had to run lots of cold water before getting the hot water out. It's a waste. 2. It lacks proper directional signs. We had to ask a couple of service staff to get to the front desk and our room. 3. We couldn't find a luggage cart (or there wasn't one?) to bring our stuff in one trip. Each one-way trip from the garage to our room took us 10 minutes. 4. Due to high wind conditions, the pool area was closed. We were disappointed because It only opened between 9-18.

liked it more this time than March 21. There was a room with a window. But that's not what matters, but the fact that there was silence. For the first time, upon arrival in Beijing, we checked into the room (I paid for a day), but we stayed there for only 6 hours. So, then the cleaners constantly slammed the neighboring doors all the time, it was very loud and unpleasant. I went out and asked them to be quieter. This time I told the administrator the problem with the cleaners. The administrator promised that there would be silence, he kept his word. The room is compact, but very comfortable. Thank you

We stayed at this hotel during a 15-hour layover in Beijing and overall had a good experience—we were able to rest well before our next flight. However, some aspects left mixed impressions. **Pros:** ✔ Comfortable rooms – clean, quiet, with cozy beds, allowing us to get proper sleep. ✔ Excellent breakfast – a wide variety of fresh and tasty dishes. **Cons:** ❌ Evening snack was included in the rate, but by 10:35 PM (with service until midnight), all the chafing dishes were empty, and the staff did not refill them. As a result, the only option left was broth with noodles—no rice or other choices. ❌ Airport shuttle made us wait 40 minutes, and no one answered our calls to the hotel, which added unnecessary stress after a long flight. The hotel is suitable for a short stopover, but the service could be more attentive, especially regarding food and shuttle arrangements. Hopefully, the management will take these points into account.

Since we had an early flight the next day, we chose to stay at this hotel near the airport. That day, we visited the Great Wall and didn’t check in until the evening. The front desk staff was very polite and informed us that a late-night snack was available at the hotel restaurant from 10 PM to 12 AM, which was a nice touch. They also thoughtfully asked about our return flight and helped us arrange a morning wake-up call and airport transfer. On the day of our departure, a staff member personally walked us to the shuttle bus, handed us a small gift, and bowed while thanking us for staying at their hotel. It was a warm and memorable gesture. Overall, we had a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, and the service was exceptionally attentive. Highly recommended!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. There is a massage center on the second floor, which was perfect for relaxing. Right at the entrance, there are plenty of restaurants and bars where you can grab a meal or enjoy a beer, making it very convenient. There are also many convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find anything you might need. The prices were reasonable as well. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the airport every 30 minutes, which was very convenient. It’s also close to a metro station — about 2 kilometers by taxi or around a 20-minute walk. Since the hotel is near the airport, you may occasionally hear planes taking off or landing, but overall, the environment is peaceful and quiet. The room was equipped with two air conditioners, adding extra comfort. I stayed here for one night after a business trip, timing my stay perfectly before my flight. It was an ideal place to relax before a long international flight. Guangzhou is a very large and busy city, so being close to the airport made the last part of my journey much easier and more comfortable. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near the airport.

The hotel is near to Beijing lu metro station, super convenient, walk through the tee mall and the hotel is between chagee and 24hrs macdonald. The whole area is full of restaurants and street foods. Some 24hrs, some till 2am. Special thanks to 小瑶 at the reception to be connected with us on wechat and answering all our enquires and even able to book table reservation for us if needed. Thumbs up the excellent services. Plus pt is they have 24hrs free laundry machine and gym room too. And the make up service lady at our level was extremely friendly too. Will definitely come back to stay when we are in GZ.

I stayed in the same hotel 2 weeks ago. I had pretty comfortable bed and room. This time I went with my husband. The bed and the pillows were the worst. The room was only 2 room apart with the previous one. But even worse, there was a road work outside. They were drilling the road. The dront desk told us that will finish 8 pm but it continued until 10:30. Everytime when we ask to change the room, they said  that will finish soon. However it continued until I had huge tantrum at 3:40 am. I am working in Guangzhou and I went to the work with 2 hours sleep.

Amazing hotel in Liwan which I believe is the older district being developed as the next city centre. This has its charms as my Cantonese is far more proficient than my Mandarin and was easily able to navigate the district, the front of house team do speak English. Large clean rooms and quality amenities such as the rooftop pool and gym are available. The nightly soup cooked traditional Cantonese style was always something that surprised and delighted after a day out. Guy, who I believe is in housekeeping/maintenance was amazing when I had issues getting the laundry to work at 9pm in the evening - this needs a better system for foreigners would be my criticism. Also, on the Trip.com app, there is no indication that this is an additional cost (screenshot attached) albeit being cheap. Viki, at the cafe just outside on level 1 was super helpful along with the doormen who would often recommend local places to see, eat, and/or experience. I have a cat allergy but the cutest cat ever is living life and thriving downstairs keeping me company most mornings! May, who checked me out was quick to rectify issues with my deposit being refunded - although it did take 3 hours as opposed to the stated 10 minutes. I had to call from the airport to chase this otherwise it may have been forgotten however the team were very apologetic as this is much appreciated. 100% would return 100% would recommend

There are alot of local restaurant just right next to the hotel, Very easy to find food. Mall is just 100 meter walk and there are a massage shop next door for relaxing with good price. Very recommended, will come back for next time.

The hotel is in a good location and the decoration is very modern, but hair was found on the bed. You need to bring your own lock to store your luggage. The lock bought from the vending machine costs 3.5 US dollars plus tax, and 10 US dollars was deducted. They said they would refund the difference on the same day, but they have not refunded it yet. The 50 US dollar deposit must be paid by credit card, and it has not been refunded for several days after leaving the hotel.

Room is very small for 2pax and there is limited space to open your luggage.  But the toilet and bathroom are very clean and the water pressure is good.  The room is also cleaned on a daily basis.  There are sufficient charging points for our various devices.   There are no washer and dryer in the hotel but there is a laundry shop nearby 100m away.  There is a supermarket beside the hotel.  The location is near Port Authority bus and train station.  We enjoy our stay.

The front desk was very helpful and called me a day in advanced to confirm the booking and sent the map and direction to the hotel. It can get confusing because the hotel is located at a building where you cannot see any of its signage from exterior. But once you get the direction to the check-in lobby located at Level 6, it is quite straight forward. We landed very late, way past midnite and there was a guarded entrance A2 at the foot of the building where the security directed us to the check in lobby. The location is excellent and easy access to the best mall in Shenzhen, One Avenue. It is also served by two Metro Lines 1 and 10, which can get us to almost all the main attractions in Shenzhen. It is easy to get taxis as the main road right in front of hotel always have plenty of taxis waiting to pick up passenger. The only downside of our visit was the fumigation that just taken place and everyday we will find dead baby cockroaches on our living room floors. But the room service response is very good, once you text them by WeChat, within 5 mins, the staff is here to clean up and attend to our other needs.

Wonderful service, initially booked one night to trial out, extended for an extra 3, as there was a slight smell of smoke even though it’s meant to be smoke free hotel, Leo and his colleagues let me select my new room. Right next to metro station Lao Jie, pedestrian street, Macdonald across the road to help you find the hotel as the side entrance is right next to Sunning electrical shop. The bigger rooms have their own washing machine in the rooms, along with a drying pole set up by the window. Didn’t try out the  breakfast it’s usually 40rmb for buffet they offered me 1rmb to add it on the morning if I wanted it. A selection of coffee and herbal teas at the reception. Very clean and very quiet, no busy hotel morning door slamming, although I did experience some noise at 2am, maybe some worker was repairing something along the corridor. There’s also a mini kitchen with rice cooker, full size fridge and other amenities, welcome drinks in the fridge, usually don’t use the hotel shampoo but this shampoo is conditioner was really good, didn’t dry out my hair. The bed is super big and comfy and lovely sofa with a communal lounge in the middle of the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

It was only a short stay for one day after my late night flight, and I left at around 6am for the further sightseeing. Location is great, not really far from the metro station (around 10mins walk) which is on the same line as Union Station. Not far from all the touristy spots (central library, walt disney music hall, central library, central market...etc) in downtown, all walking distance! It's located in a building with elevator, with a pool (unfortunately I didn't have chance to check it) and the staff is super helpful and friendly! Room is nice, not big very pretty functional, and there is a shared bathroom in the room. Overall this was a very great experience with the price! Highly recommended to those travellers with budgets.

First time, i stayed at hostel and the hostel was acceptable with location and safety in hostel. Bus stops and metro is prettt easy to use. The people was nice to talk and communicate in hostel. Easy check in-out. The breakfast is not breakfast, just bread, nutella, peanut butter and pancake mix. Every morning, a lady cleaned the bathroom. Location was great at downtown LA: near the 7th street metro. Nearby lots food as well such as Tacobell, Starbucks, Jollibee and near grocery store down the road Cleanliness: have no issues. Its very clean in my opinion Room: Its really small, but modern design. So cant complain much. U can open just one 26 inch luggage in the room. No noise, but got bit of ****/ ********* smell in my room, not sure whats the cause. Aircond was really cold and functioning. Also have heater function Toilet light Bit irritating as ppl mentioned, auto off light even when you showering. Pressure for shower was bit low but otherwise no issues with hot water? Water: No free water unless u are silver and above, but in the lobby you have complimentary fruit infused cold water destination fee: now this is something new to me. its 29 USD. Thanks to other reviewers, i remembered to use this to pay for my lunch . The burger was good! There's luggage storage No swimming pool gym or washing machine In all, will return as business traveller in view of location cleanlineess
