After reading the bad references I have to say that I am satisfied with my stay in this hotel. My room was fine and quiet, although there is still construction at the airport. The service at the reception was ok , i took my check-in voucher from my booking in chinese written with me that makes much easier for the reception crew.

Staying at the Radisson Collection was the best decision we made with hotels during our trip. Right on the pedestrian street and walking distance to the bund and restaurants. Hotel had comfortable beds, and we got an amazing room at the top most floor with views of the bund! Sadly we spent all day out that when we got back the lights of the bund were always off when we got back but that’s not the hotels fault. Breakfast was good, had the local delicacies that I enjoyed. Staff were so sweet to bring a cake for my daughter’s birthday and it was the most delicious cake ever so smooth dark chocolate yum! I will be coming back for more! Toiletries were good and hotel was very accommodating for anything we needed. I will be back to stay here again when I’m Shanghai!

Check-in wasn’t a good experience, but the hotel was okay after that. When I first checked-in, the room key cards I was given didn’t work, which was frustrating as the room was one of the furthest from reception. This meant I had to go all the way back for new keys after a long day. I just wanted to relax! Then the second room I was given didn’t match the photos on Trip.com, in particular it didn’t have a real window, looking over the dining area rather than outside. But when finally settled into the third room, the stay was okay. It was supposedly an upgrade, but it only looked like the room I had booked. The location is the big plus: right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street which leads to the Bund, both iconic locations that are great to visit. I didn’t have the breakfast as there were no spare seats, so I went to a nearby McDonald’s instead. The hotel needs to enlarge its dining area.

Amazing stay at Metropolo Jinjiang hotel. Very close to East Nanjing Road shopping area and also East Nanjing Road metro station. Although ee are unaware that this metro station operational hours only until afternoon. 😩 Nevertheless, the room is spacious, toilet equipped with bidet, universal electric socket, abundant mineral water bottles for free, and decent breakfast choices.

The hotel is very nice! We liked everything here. The cleaning service is perfect, the room was always clean and we always had refreshing water. The location of the hotel is convenient, it's not far from the subway. We especially liked breakfasts there, there were fresh fruits and a kind of all-you- can- eat buffet. There were a lot of foreigners and the staff understood English. We recommend this hotel and the whole ibis hotels line.

The staff are very very friendly, helpful and always Smile , even it was not rely Funny At the begening , but after , they made me Smile also . They was So So kind with me , the first time i just Wanted to see how far it is the subway station, So i asked for a taxi , but then , they told to the owner or the manager , not sure who he was exactly , he took me to the subway in a nice Lexus, I was like wow. Then when I left same , the girls asked one other guy to take me to subway station. I feel litlle shy , but they was very cool . The room was spacious, nice view from the room to the bathroom ,nice big bathroom with hot water, clean room , it is smell litlle old , but that was fine , my widow was always open. Our stay at the Radisson Blu was so disappointing that we both made notes but have waited to post the review so that some of the frustration could subside. We’ve stayed at the Radisson multiple times as it’s been our hotel of choice for business and pleasure for many (15+) years. This stay was specifically for business. Upon check-in we were told that our room had no window, even for almost 900 CNY that we paid on Trip. And that payment was only a guarantee. Fine. So, we agreed to pay an additional 100 CNY to have a window. Then, we were also told that we needed to pay (WeChat) 1500 CNY and that would include the cost of the room rate and the deposit. No sincere explanation or apology by the person at the check-in counter, just a lot of uncomfortable laughing and “pay now, pay now.” We felt like we were being cheated even though this was normal policy. To be fair, the room given had an amazing view. We were very satisfied and had begun to think the worst was behind us. We ordered room service that included wonton (dumplings) soup, a classic Caesar salad, and a margherita pizza. The wonton soup was great, but the margherita pizza was barely passable, and the classic Caesar salad was an abomination. Hands down, it was the worst Caesar salad we had ever had. Tiny bacon bits, smelly yellow oil, and old lettuce. We ate two bites and quickly placed it outside in the hallway where it sat until 10:00am the next day. Note: you can only order premium (expensive) bottled water and we were told that they couldn’t give us any more “regular” bottled water even if we said we’d pay for it. At night, the staff at the fitness center acted as if we were disturbing them when we asked basic questions. A total lack of hospitality that should be on display at a 5-star hotel. We really began to dislike our experience at this point because it became quite evident that nobody really cared. To again be fair, however, the male staff who was on duty in the next morning, was sincere and polite. A welcoming contrast from the evening before. But then at brunch, the three young men who were running the egg and omelet station were horribly loud and rude. Like everything was a big joke to them – and it got to the point where we just walked away even after we had tried to order. After brunch, probably the biggest disappointment was that we found out that the Business Center was closed. We had scheduled an important meeting at the hotel and needed to print and prepare some items. We were told that we could only print if we emailed the documents to a hotel email. This was not going to happen so we created a little fuss and a polite manager suddenly appeared and handled everything. That was nice. But the damage was done. After this situation, we made the decision that this would be our last time staying at the Radisson. Lastly, after more than 24 hours, the guarantee was only refunded after we called and spoke to a customer service representative at Trip who was very helpful.

We were satisfied for the stay in Hong Kong, booked Royal Plaza Hotel which was recommended by friend. Front desk staff is friendly. Location is convenient for taking metro, but not friendly for those taking A21, need to walk quite far. Good stayed for four of us. However the toilet also come out urine smell after using, no matter how many times we flushed. After cleaned by cleaner still the same issue. Another issue about bed bugs, i met this issue first time, didn't know this was due to beg bugs until I felt the itchness. So I decided to inform trip.com about the compensation from the hotel. Unfortunately Royal Plaza Hotel rejected by reason of not inform during the stay. My friend who stayed closer date with me, her kid also got bed bugs bites in this hotel. Anyway, I am happy with trip.com's customer service Jenny who assisted me to approached the hotel although there was nothing help, but she was able to claim some coin for me from trip.com. We won't choose Royal Plaza Hotel anymore in the future.

The hotel is probably 2 kms away from the airport but there is shuttle service in the bus terminal which runs every 40 mins to 1 hr free of cost. The concierge stuff were very helpful in giving guidance for how to locate the service buses and go to the mtr stations. The room was very clean , a bit small but nice. The lady at the checkin counter was so good , l forgot my passport there, she called my extension and returned in no time. The food in Petra was delicious . The nearest station is Tungchung . At the Hong Kong Millennium New World Hotel, the stay feels like being with a caring friend. Every detail, from cleanliness to service, is impeccable and comforting. Especially with Manager Michelle’s thoughtful arrangements, we not only got an upgraded room but also a delightful surprise, leaving us pleasantly surprised and grateful. Despite a slight delay during check-in, they generously offered a late check-out option, showing their meticulous care and consideration. The hotel’s facilities resemble a vibrant and welcoming community, providing everything from a well-equipped gym to diverse dining options, making guests feel right at home. Overall, my review for the Hong Kong Millennium New World Hotel is five stars, and I look forward to staying again and continuing to enjoy their attentive service. - Justin Liu

The Kowloon hotel is close to all amenities. What is more convient is that you get off East Tsim San shui MTR, take L3 -and you walk right into the hotel. The hotel is clean and has very basic amenities. It is definitely the cheaper option for Hongkong. The food prices are relative to what you pay for HK. The manager, Tempo , made us feel very welcome and upgraded us. He is so professional and was very friendly. If you're looking for a place to sleep and do sightseeing for a short stay, I would recommend this hotel. Just a place to sleep that is super convenient...

Hard to find my tower to get in after I have done my self checkin and got the key card. One thing I need to complain is the mini bar inside the room. It’s huge expensive foods and drinks for that. And I went out to bought some Fiji water and snacks back to my room. The cleaning staff misunderstood that and charged me 35-50 bucks on my bill. Because they thinking I called them to open the mini fridge. I don’t know this before I checked out. I chooses to pay that extra bill just because I don’t want to waste my time to stay on the long line to fix with them. I told myself I just tipped for the room cleaning service that make me feel better when I left.

I took my mom for a significant life event and went to the nines with upgrades and it was worth it. She has a really good time in the space. The hotel is good, it has everything you need for relaxation, good restaurants, a large swimming pool. one of the minuses is that it is not very close to fountains and other entertainment, and also, unfortunately, although we had booked long ago, our wish for a maximum high floor was not taken into account upon check-in and they placed us on the third floor: with a view of the roof, which was disappointing , but they settled us before four o’clock. Check out was very bad. it was 4 in the morning, in the hall near the reception there were two people at check-out and two people at the reception working, but they were very sluggish and didn’t even do their job, only one worked, the second just laughed and relaxed, I had to accept and had to give all the payment documents and will move out. This is not our first time at this hotel, but the level of service has decreased.

We tend to stay at private B&Bs rather than hotels when travelling but we couldn’t have been more impressed with this hotel and its staff, who were always helpful with things like bookings etc. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of food styles and fruit. We didn’t eat any other meals in the hotel. One warning to other foreign travellers - credit cards are only accepted at hotels, some shops in major malls, and some major tourist sites. Otherwise it’s cash for things like taxis, local shops. The locals use a ubiquitous payment app linked to mobile phones.

Hello my name is Geldon Mesi, I recently stayed at Guangzhou Sanyuanli Atour Hotel and enjoyed my stay immensely. They say first impressions last and my stay is testament to that. I was welcomed so honourably upon checking in after experiencing such negative reception upon checking in elsewhere. Nothing was too much of an inconvenience for the staff here. They were always so busy and in demand however never seemed overwhelmed or flustered by the experience in fact. They were professional at all times and always with a smile. My last day of my stay was in fact my birthday and when I returned to the hotel at 11pm that evening there was one worker Hu sen who was at the hotel however off shift yet still made such an impressive effort in making my stay so very memorable as we shared great conversation. Amidst conversation I informed him it was my birthday, he then offered his own personal time to escort me around the city given hat I was alone. Not only did he do such an honourable task out of hours he also managed to order me a birthday cake without my knowledge and as soon as I arrived back to my hotel everyone was aware of my birthday and cheered me whilst ha delivering me this cake at 1am. I could not believe such a thoughtful gesture. It just goes to show the humanity that these staff members have towards not only their guests but human beings. I will not forget the worker's name is Hu Sen most memorable kind-hearted gesture, thank you Guangzhou Sanyuanli Atour Hotel.

I stayed in this hotels for 3 nights. Though housekeeping was done every day but not all parts of the apartment were cleaned every day. Also there is no English speaking staff so have to rely completely on WeChat for communication. Rooms in the pictures are way too good compared to reality. Also if you are a business traveller and planning to leave early every morning, I would suggest booking the room without breakfast as they don’t hand out breakfast coupons until 08:00am. And the main point, the reception of Pafei Apartment goes by the name Perfectum Service Apartment. So don’t search for Pafei at the entrance. Main advantages: 1. Proximity to Guangzhou South Railway Station/Guangzhou MTR station which is housed in the same complex. About 10 minutes walking. Would suggest not to follow directions shown by maps as it would show close to 20 minutes and take you around for no reason. 2. Shuttle service every hour. Though if your travel timings do not match I would suggest going on your own to avoid reach extra early or very late.

I am satisfied with my overall stay at this hotel. The issue I had was with regards a safety issue which I did bring to the attention of the manager on Duty the next morning. Our lift got stuck on the 37th floor, there were 5 people in the lift at the time. We rang the emergency bell, shouted for help. one guest phone his wife to tell the reception staff that we were stuck. We were in that lift for 15 minutes with NO response from the hotel. We managed to pry ourselves out of the lift. Not a single staff member came to our rescue and the following morning when i reported the incident to the manager, the incident had not even been logged by reception. This was my only issue with this hotel Dean Darron Albertus

Will recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to come and visit New York City.

The hotel is more like a hostel. Very small rooms small double bed or bunk beds because you will not fit two single beds in the room. Shower very good. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Yes tv. No breakfast included. You have to go to a nearby cafe to get a proper meal. You can get various coffee and tea bagels scones continental style breakfast in the bar area in the POD. For 4 nights accommodation only Thursday to Sunday cost app 1200.00 euro per room.

The hotel was definitely a bit dated , but we had a great room , very clean and comfortable and large king bed on the 12th floor. Staff were very friendly ! I was concerned about negative reviews about people getting refunds for cancellations, but took a chance anyway , glad we did . I booked directly with wyndam and the price was reasonable , would definitely stay here again !

The West Side YMCA is definitely a no frills place to stay, but the location is excellent. You're right next to Central Park and Columbus Circle. Times Square is an easy walk south. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first had a bunk bed and was quite small, but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. It also had a small TV and fridge. We had a semi-private bathroom, which was down the hall. This meant we had to scan our key on one of the bathroom doors to get in, but once inside we had privacy while we got cleaned up. The bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. We were able to upgrade the second half of our stay to a room with a larger bed and an in room bathroom. Again, this hotel is no frills. It can be rough around the edges, but it's clean and comfortable at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We did not have time to take advantage of the gym, the pool, the sauna, and stuff like that, but they looked nice. I'd recommend the West Side YMCA. If you're visiting NYC, you should be out doing stuff, not sitting around the room. It was everything we needed it to be.

I just stayed at the Motto in Times Square for the weekend, and had a great experience. First, let me say that I was born and raised in NYC (I live about 30 miles north of NYC now), so I know the NYC area very well, and it was such a joy to experience the city as a ”tourist” for the weekend. The hotel is in a great location near Times Square, where access to public transportation is very easy, as well as to restaurants, and Broadway shows. The hotel is very efficient and modern. The rooms are cozy, and very comfortable. The service is excellent, and the breakfast menu is delicious. I very much enjoyed my stay at the Motto in Times Square.

Stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms, both with two double beds. Me and my oldest son in one room, my MIL and youngest son in the other room. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and location s great—very close to Times Square. We had never been to NYC and had a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again! Other reviewers complain of extra charges and problems with refunds—this is because they booked through a 3rd party site (like this one) and did not read the fine print. All NYC accommodations have a bunch of additional taxes and charges and they are the same no matter which hotel you stay in. The difference is that some hotels advertise the daily rate including an estimate of these charges and some don’t. Additionally, agreements may vary when using a 3rd party site (like this one) vs booking through the hotel’s website. Also, it’s NYC—all accommodations are small and compact. Plus, you’re there to see the city, not hang out in a hotel room all day. Lastly, the hotel doesn’t advertise a continental breakfast and why would they when just out the door are dozens of affordable places to grab a bite.

Good location with life access from hotel room level to Basement -2B MRT station with walking distance 30-40 meters. The front desk service staff all are good with answering all my needs during my 2 nights stayed. Ms ShiXia has helped me special request to late check out time to 4pm due to our late night flight. Really enjoyed our stay and we will come back again when next visit Shenzhen.

Excellent Service. Concierge staff are warming, professional and experienced with global clients. Cleaning staff are kind, helpful and thorough. Rooms are clean and well managed. Building is staffed by security 24/7, they are also very professional and welcoming. The Hotel has a package receiving center (Cai Niao) which is very convenient for long term guests like myself who need to receive packages. Also ordering takeout (wai mai) is extremely convenient. Prime location in Futian across from One Avenue and about 10 miniute walk to Coco Park. Super easy location to get DiDi and a two blocks away from Subway. Great Value, checks all the boxes. I look forward to my next stay here.

I like to stay at this hotel because of the good location and nice rooms. I was a little disappointed this time as the room was small and did not smell good. Reception staff were not helpful and friendly. Good location though. The lift can be slow at times.

This hotel is at the right place (at the border between Luohu in HKSAR and Shenzhen (**************), at the right time (infusion of summer tourists), and the right price. I am surprised that not many people know about this hotel which was built in 2013. Maybe better internet Wi-Fi access is the only thing lacking that I can think of. It is just beautiful and practical.

The small courtyard is super convenient for food, accommodation and transportation, especially when traveling. We have large luggage, elderly people and children. These days, we can directly enter the parking lot from the back door of the hotel. It is very easy. It is also very easy to take a taxi near the hotel. The location is very good. It is convenient for other attractions; another advantage is that the courtyard is very quiet and not noisy. In other words, it is quiet in the middle of the noise. I like it very much. The facilities are very good, the bedding and daily necessities are of good quality, the room is large, and drying clothes is very convenient. Full marks for the details, cleansing oil, cleansing cotton, facial cleanser, body lotion, bath salts, hair ties, mosquito repellent... There are also sand digging toys for children, all of which are so thoughtful, and there is also a self-service area where you can get daily necessities as needed. The small courtyard is very artistic and suitable for taking photos and checking in. It feels very spacious and comfortable, and life slows down. The elderly and children are very satisfied. They love longan and afternoon tea. Breakfast is very convenient. They also like the housekeepers. Everyone is very enthusiastic. It's a pity that I didn't reserve the private dishes in advance. I must try it next time I have the opportunity.

Time Travel Luxury: A Week at the Biltmore Los Angeles Seven nights at the Biltmore Los Angeles wasn't just a stay; it was a Hollywood immersion. Stepping into the iconic lobby, sunlight streaming through stained glass, felt like walking onto a silver screen set. The Singapore flag, a proud symbol of the hotel's heritage, added a touch of unexpected charm. My room, though undeniably classic, surprised me with its modern touches. High ceilings and original moldings whispered of old Hollywood glamour, while the plush king bed and sleek bathroom ensured pure comfort. History buffs like me revel in every corner of the Biltmore. Strolling through the opulent corridors, I imagined the likes of Charlie Chaplin and Clark Gable gracing the same spaces. Sure, the Biltmore isn't your average modern hotel. But for those seeking timeless charm, impeccable service, and a unique historical experience, it's pure magic. If you yearn for a touch of Hollywood history with a dash of modern comfort, the Biltmore awaits with open arms, ready to write your own chapter in its storied past.

It was a Great Hotel, the location is great, very well connected to subway, lots of restaurant and fast-food around. The rooms and the facility is great, especially the 7th floor pool deck the staff there are very friendly, room is very comfortable and spacious, clean, have all amenities I needed, including the slippers which I used for the pool side. Some of the receptionist are very friendly, courteous especially the girl who extended my checkout time and the gentlemen Manny they made me feel home, also the concierge gentleman, I am from Asia and you definitely need people like them to make you comfortable. on the other had there were some receptionist who don't even want to smile, a smile cost nothing, it is because of these couple of them that the hotel might not get the guest back. Over all I will for sure come back again and there is no need for me to stay in other places, i use to stay in sheraton grand, but now I recommend this hotel and also myself will stay here again for sure. Location - located on Figueroa Street across the street from the USC campus. Proximity to USC is the biggest winner for this Radisson. Accommodations - The lobby was basic, one story with a small front desk and small pool antey. The gym was basic with 2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals and weights up to 35 OK lbs.. The rooms are decent size and well maintained with nice decor. The bathrooms can stand to be updated though. Service - The front desk folks are OK but the hotel policies really bring it down overall. We stayed at the hotel during move in week and weekend (5 days 4 nights) but were not given a water bottle like everyone else, that was weird. We received some Amazon boxes while there and were charged $5/box after the 3rd box but were not told in advance from the hotel that they would charge us, so they basically held the packages I ordered for my daughter's move in hostage.

Could easily be zero stars. Original room was 93 degrees upon check in, the air conditioning unit was poor by anyone's standard, we asked to switch rooms. They did not offer to come get our bags, or move us to a new room so we brought our luggage back down to the front desk. We were then given a second room. Again, no offer made to accompany us and see if the new room was up to standards. This room was 92 degrees upon entry. After a second phone call, they sent up staff to change the filters on the AC unit. That team told us the AC was functioning well and blowing cold air (it was blowing cold air as if you had a few ice cubes in your mouth and blew on my neck) and to use the blackout curtains (after a sort of condescending explanation of what blackout curtains do) and give it some time for the AC to work. We went out to dinner for about two hours and came back to a nice cool 87 degree room. We once again took our belongings back downstairs. We were then told by the front desk staff that since we booked a room with a king size bed all of those rooms faced the sun and would all have similar problems (why would that be an acceptable answer?) and they could do nothing more for us since they accommodated us once already. I had no idea their idea of accommodating someone was to put them in a room with the same problem that the previous room had but what do I know, I am not in the hospitality industry. We were then told that the hotel was completely booked so no further ”accommodations” could be made. We asked for a refund and this is the first time they reacted with some conviction, they were happy to let us leave. Must be nice to be able to turn away business. At no time were there any apologies, any remorse, just matter-of-factly let us leave. My wife and I don't argue or yell, we never feel its worth it, but we left angry and hotel-less on a Saturday night in Los Angeles. We scrambled to find a new hotel but the damage was done, they took our entire Saturday away from us, which no refund could ever compensate for, they temporarily took our joy to be in town on our own as we are parents and do not get much time away. We did take our business elsewhere, to a Hilton, they seem to understand that to relax you need a room that is slightly cooler than a sauna. We were able to salvage the remaining days of our trip. Also the elevators at the Freehand are old (charming?) and constantly in use because of the rooftop bar so it took us waiting for a few packed elevators to get up and down to the hot AF rooms which probably added to our level of frustration. But it was mostly the Sahara like environment of the hot room. Did I mention the rooms were hot? Also maybe use a free hand to open a book on what hospitality looks like, I think your staff may be surprised. (see what I did there?)
