Environment: Excellent view, full privacy, like the glass bathroom, really don't worry about being seen when taking a bath, haha Facilities: The facilities are actually OK, but the uniqueness of the hotel is better than anything else Service: The housekeeper accompanied me throughout the whole process, arranged breakfast, dinner, and visits, and needed to accompany me up and down the stairs, which was hard! The service was very good. Super patient brother! I hope to come again next time if I have the chance

I visited Shanghai during the May Day holiday and on the last day, I finally chose to stay at the Amanyangyun Hotel, a place I'd always wanted to experience since my undergraduate days but never quite splurged on. Overall, the experience was fantastic. We arrived at 1 PM and immediately, a staff member came to assist with our luggage. Manager Zhou Xiaomeng then led us to a private booth in the lobby for check-in. She provided a very detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and restaurants. Afterward, she drove us to our room in a golf cart and meticulously explained all the room's features, demonstrating great patience. The hotel also offers a rich array of activities. There was a 40-minute art exhibition tour in the owner's area of Amanyangyun Phase 1, which was very photogenic with vibrant colors. We also took a 60-minute traditional Chinese painting class; the teacher was very patient. We painted loquats, and they even framed our paintings afterward, which added a nice sense of ceremony. The hotel also provides free electric bicycles, perfect for exploring the nearby forest park, where you can spot black swans, grey ducks, and many rabbits. There are also two white peacocks in the hotel restaurant. The environment is truly exceptional. Breakfast was included even with the lowest-priced room type. I highly recommend the French toast; the strawberries and blueberries inside were delicious. The only minor drawback was that this dessert took a bit long to prepare, about ten minutes. In conclusion, I highly recommend everyone to experience Amanyangyun. After all, it's good enough for tennis legend Novak Djokovic!

The lady boss is kind and nice, and her service attitude is amazing. She was very helpful in adjusting the itinerary we had with our children. We wanted to stay in the hotel, but the rooms were full for the next few days. The lady boss also helped us find a new hotel and transported our luggage to the new hotel, so we could have fun easily. She is really nice, and I will book this hotel again next time. It was a happy experience.

Feeling bored during the May Day holiday, I spontaneously decided to book a hotel and spend a day relaxing. Capella truly stands out among five-star hotels. Even though I grew up in a traditional Shikumen house, where my family of three squeezed into one room, none of them were as spacious as Capella's bathroom! The hygiene, service, and dining were all excellent. The room's fragrance was very elegant; as someone very sensitive to smells, I usually bring my own diffuser when staying at hotels, but Capella's scent was incredibly soothing and relaxing. I never take hotel amenities, but I couldn't resist asking the evening staff for an extra set – I absolutely adore the Frederic Malle scent. The afternoon tea service in the library seemed a bit understaffed, but there was a tall, bespectacled young woman whose awareness and service were spot-on, a definite plus. The in-room dining was a hit with the kids, very prompt, and the staff were extremely polite. Navigating the stairs can indeed be inconvenient; the section leading to the terrace is particularly steep, making it a hassle to go up and down for things. There was only one person at the front desk sometimes, so I occasionally had to wait. However, none of these minor points will stop me and my child from our 'date' – we'll definitely be back to stay and play for a day every holiday!

Initially, I wasn't thrilled about staying here after seeing the gym. However, I heard the spa was good and it was close to a few restaurants we'd booked, so we decided to go for it. The river view was also quite decent. But seriously, is the service team outsourced or something? Everyone seemed so unenthusiastic (not sure why they're so aloof 🤷🏻‍♀️), and I even had to go downstairs myself to pick up food deliveries. 😅 Breakfast was okay; my partner said the Chinese options were better. They specifically praised the tea-marinated eggs and the beef in the beef noodles. The New York set allowed for scrambled eggs, which worked out well since we're pure protein eaters. 😅 The mini-bar items were generally on the pricier side. They delivered cake daily, and we even received luggage tags when we checked out. The gym… well, I'd say about 90% of guests don't use it, and the remaining 9% go to the pool for photos. I guess I'm the only one genuinely trying to burn fat. 🥲 The treadmills are ancient Technogym models, seriously vintage! Plus, the treadmills are placed way too close to the wall; I kept feeling like I was about to hit it during my runs, can I even say that? 🤐 And the gym was freezing cold, even adjusting the AC didn't help much. Congrats to me for setting a new personal best for a 10km fasted run in sub-zero conditions! 🥲 The green apples were quite tasty. Apart from that, the spa is definitely the most commendable! My partner and I went every day. 🥰 Both the facial and Chinese massage treatments were excellent!

Rosewood Hong Kong

9.4/10Outstanding2293 Reviews
Tsim Sha Tsui | 2.78km from city center
I specifically chose to stay at the Rosewood Hong Kong, a benchmark for luxury hotels in the city, and overall, it met my expectations, with only a minor disappointment regarding the bathrobe. The room layout was spacious and bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the complete Victoria Harbour skyline. The daytime scene of blue seas and boats, and the nighttime spectacle of countless city lights, each had their own unique charm. The entire room featured high-quality wood furnishings and plaid soft decor. The walk-in closet offered ample storage, and the dual showers and scenic bathtub were top-notch. Amenities like toiletries, TWG tea sets, and Nespresso coffee machines were thoughtfully provided. The turndown service each evening included an aromatherapy scent and a small snack, showing exceptional attentiveness. Service was consistently excellent throughout my stay. The concierge and butler were friendly, professional, and promptly responded to any requests. Breakfast offered both buffet and à la carte options, with high-quality Hong Kong-style Nissin Demae Itcho, desserts, and fresh fruits. The high-altitude infinity pool directly overlooks the sea; it was quiet and uncrowded, making for a perfectly relaxing swim. Direct access to K11 Musea downstairs made shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The only minor flaw was the quality of the bathrobes in the room. The fabric felt rather thin, lacking the softness and plushness found in bathrobes at other luxury hotels in the same category. This was a stark contrast to the otherwise exquisite and luxurious amenities in the room. The experience would be even more perfect if the bathrobe material were upgraded. Overall, the minor imperfection doesn't overshadow the many positives. It remains a must-stay hotel for sea views in Hong Kong, and I would definitely choose it again on my next visit.

I specifically set aside one night for The Upper House during my trip to Hong Kong. Honestly, coming from a Ritz-Carlton with a harbor view, there was a slight drop in experience when checking into this apartment-style hotel, even though The Upper House is actually priced higher. The pros are definitely the exceptional service; the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I was personally escorted to my room, where all the facilities were thoroughly explained. They also offered a complimentary minibar, along with welcome fruits and drinks. Both the bathroom and toilet had grab bars, which is extremely thoughtful for elderly guests. The bedside also featured a service bell and several USB ports, which was very convenient. The walk-in closet had a vanity table and a stool, perfect for sitting down to blow-dry hair and do makeup, rather than having to stand. As for the cons, while the bathroom was quite spacious, the gap between the toilet and the sink was too narrow, making it easy to bump your knees.

Sammi from housekeeping was incredibly warm and friendly! She even left a little gift and a handwritten card. By the way, the hotel's sea-view rooms offer a fantastic view of planes taking off and landing at Hong Kong International Airport – a real treat for aviation enthusiasts. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to Tung Chung Station. From there, just follow the signs to the Ngong Ping 360 cable car 🚠. It's absolutely stunning! I highly recommend opting for the crystal cabin; the glass is spotless! You can enjoy panoramic views of Hong Kong Airport in the distance and breathtaking beach and mountain scenery directly below. It was an amazing experience!

Finally ticked off The Peninsula Hong Kong, the 'Grand Dame of the Far East,' from my bucket list for my birthday trip. The hotel exudes a warm, vintage, understated luxury. The afternoon tea experience was delightful; the dim sum was exquisite, and the service was proactive. For my birthday, they arranged a window seat, and even provided sparkling wine and a birthday candle. Dinner at Felix was excellent: the baked escargot, grilled octopus, seafood paella, and wagyu steak were all delicious. Aside from the house wine being a bit disappointing (terrible value), enjoying the food with a view of Victoria Harbour at night was a truly great experience. The hotel also gifted a birthday cake, which was of very high quality. Despite its bustling city location, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly quiet the room was. There was absolutely no street noise, and I couldn't hear any sounds from the hallway either. They've clearly put a lot of effort into soundproofing, better than any other luxury hotel I've stayed in. The hotel itself is connected to high-end boutiques like Goyard, LV, Chanel, and Chrome Hearts. Downstairs, there's a large and well-stocked Italian food supermarket offering a curated selection of Italian delicacies and ingredients, definitely worth exploring and stocking up – I almost wanted to ship a load home! The Peninsula Boutique gifts were also nice, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, even offering instant photos. I had read reviews complaining about cold front desk staff and unfriendliness towards mainland guests, but every single staff member we encountered, including the female front desk agent during check-in, was friendly, enthusiastic, and proactively helpful, which I found very touching. The room's furniture was a bit old-fashioned and plain, but the electronics were impressive. An iPad by the bed controlled room lighting and room service, the TV remote was a touchscreen, the vanity mirror was electric-powered and retractable, and there was even a large fax printer hidden in the desk cabinet! The only downside was the old toilet; it lacked a heated seat, and the flush button was difficult to use. Also, the shower was awkwardly positioned, clashing with the door and making it easy to hit your head, so you had to be very careful.

K11 ARTUS

K11 ARTUS is ideally located in the heart of Kowloon's transportation hub, offering unparalleled convenience for guests. With direct access to both Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations, guests can quickly and easily reach other parts of Hong Kong or connect to mainland transportation networks. Situated in Victoria Dockside, a prominent art, design, and cultural landmark on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, K11 ARTUS boasts 287 residences. From studios to three-bedroom units, various layouts and configurations are available to suit different guest needs. Each residence features a fully equipped kitchenette and a private balcony, offering stunning Victoria Harbour views or vibrant cityscapes, allowing guests to curate their own lifestyle in a comfortable setting. K11 ARTUS embodies a kind of understated luxury. Its entrance is so discreet that you might not even realize it's a high-end serviced apartment. However, once you step inside, you'll be increasingly delighted. Beyond the unassuming front desk, you'll immediately enter a long corridor, like a time tunnel, leading to the guest rooms. But it feels more like walking through a long river of history, with ancient artworks lining both sides. Whether it's a painting or a book, each piece tells an old story. And outside the bright floor-to-ceiling windows, the ancient Victoria Harbour stretches out, with the gentle sound of boat horns seemingly recounting tales of the past. We stayed in a Grand Harbour View One-Bedroom Apartment. The room was spacious, with a large balcony directly facing Victoria Harbour. The bathtub also offered harbour views while bathing. The hotel's pool, in particular, boasts unbeatable Victoria Harbour and city views. Below the room is the famous Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong, and the scenery is truly superb. The bedding was soft, and the kitchen facilities were very well-equipped. We bought groceries from the supermarket in the mall downstairs and made breakfast a few times. The cooking utensils were easy to use, and the tableware was comprehensive. Service was also excellent; the staff were friendly and polite. We didn't dine at the hotel, so I can't comment on the restaurant. Upon learning that my son and I happened to be celebrating our birthdays, in addition to the standard welcome snacks, a delicious cake was specially delivered and pre-chilled in the room's refrigerator upon check-in. They also provided a mini painting kit and beautiful birthday balloons. Overall, K11 ARTUS offers great value for money. Not only is it a rare spacious find in land-scarce Hong Kong, but it also provides a sense of tranquility amidst the bustling city, making it very suitable for family holidays. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Hong Kong.

A perfect experience! We originally booked a Deluxe Seaview King Room, but the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Seaview Suite and, as per our request, provided a twin-bedded suite. The lady who checked us in was very gentle, and the check-in process was incredibly smooth. I can't sleep on soft pillows, and the Four Seasons has always remembered this, providing me with a firm pillow and proactively asking if I wanted to switch to a harder mattress – very thoughtful. The welcome amenities from the hotel were also very generous, including pineapple cake, pineapple buns, and milk tea cookies. My friend and I both agreed they were delicious. The welcome fruit was incredibly fresh, and the grapes had just the right amount of sweetness; even as someone who doesn't like sweets, I ate a lot. The mini-bar in the suite was also complimentary, and my favorites were the chips and coconut juice. We also visited the Argo bar. Even on a Saturday night, it wasn't overly crowded, and the Hong Kong Punch was impressive. Our booking included breakfast, and we chose the à la carte restaurant. I loved the waffles and bircher muesli, and my friend highly praised the Japanese set meal she ordered. All in all, a perfect hotel and a perfect experience.

Let's get straight to the point: For a luxury hotel, especially a landmark one in its HK home base, charging an average of 3.5K+ for a basic room, I find it completely unacceptable. The only silver lining, perhaps, is that the foreign doormen and F&B staff genuinely embody the patience, attentiveness, and thoughtfulness expected of a top-tier luxury hotel. Let me focus on the facilities. If the daily rate were half of what it currently is, it might be excusable. But they're touting a renovation to justify an opening promotion. Thankfully, I only stayed one night and didn't use a two-night voucher. First, due to the exorbitant land prices in Central, the hotel lobby entrance is extremely unfriendly to guests with luggage or those who are elderly/have joint issues. While the doormen are very helpful, guests still have to climb several steps. Secondly, for a hotel that maintains this price point without any views, the maintenance and replacement of in-room facilities should be a basic part of housekeeping's job. The bathroom, with its curved design and access from both the living room and bedroom, looks significantly old and shabby compared to the renovated living area. The moment I pulled open the bathroom door, the plastic bumper strip quickly detached and fell from above. Then I noticed both mirrors had varying degrees of wear, with one showing severe mercury erosion, making it aesthetically subpar. Finally, both my wife and I pinched our fingers multiple times on the shower door, indicating a lack of soft-close mechanisms or anti-pinch soft padding. Furthermore, the hotel opened while the gym and swimming pool were still under renovation, with no adequate compensation for most in-house guests. For most 'check-in' enthusiasts, the gym and pool are 100% essential facilities – isn't that the point of a high-end luxury hotel? Lastly, for a luxury hotel, the breakfast, offered as a set menu, is quite meager. Compared to the unlimited à la carte/semi-buffet options at traditional luxury hotels, the variety is small, portions are tiny, and it's rationed (anything beyond the set order is chargeable). While I largely understand the policy of refined offerings in luxury hotels, it doesn't adequately consider the varying appetites of different guests. I don't believe guests should have to adapt to such an unreasonable policy. Hospitality is about service, and high-end hotels shouldn't dictate guests' dietary needs. In summary, if you're a top-tier business traveler or socialite with substantial financial freedom, simply looking for a photo-op, then it's perfectly fine. However, for mid-to-high-end travelers, serious hotel enthusiasts, and families, this experience is just terrible. So terrible that I couldn't even be bothered to reply to the all-English follow-up email the hotel sent me. After all, if I were to experience it again, I'd rather go to the old Mandarin just a few hundred meters away. Why make it difficult for the execution staff at the decision-making level?

The service was excellent; there was no discrimination against mainlanders, and staff across all departments could switch seamlessly between Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. The Run restaurant is highly recommended; the dishes are exquisite and delicious. The butler service was fantastic, responding very promptly via WeChat, and even delivering items to the room quickly after 11 PM. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's à la carte, with a variety of exquisite options including Chinese, American, Hong Kong, and Japanese styles. If you're not full, you can order more. They don't rush you out even if you stay past the 10:30 AM dining cut-off. The outdoor pool has a beautiful view. My favorite was the welcome drink, a seasonal special; this time it was an iced sour plum, sweet and refreshing. Getting around is also very convenient, with various convenience stores and restaurants nearby. I'll definitely come again.

The hotel is quite new, and the location is decent. The room itself is spacious and very clean, with excellent beds and pillows. The air conditioning is very strong yet surprisingly quiet. The decor is modern, but it lacks the luxurious feel you'd find in older, more established hotels like Wynn. Be careful with the mini-fridge in the room; it starts charging you after just a few seconds. I had to complain to the front desk later to get the charge removed.

The rooms are very clean and hygienic, the layout is very good, and all the facilities are very new. Especially worth mentioning is the service of the inn. Everyone is very enthusiastic, and it is from the true feelings, without feeling any pretentiousness. The elderly in my family who went with me cannot eat cold food due to physical reasons. The parents of the innkeeper enthusiastically helped us, borrowing their own cooking stove for us to use, and also gave us some delicious tofu. The elderly in their family are also a group of people who convey warmth to others. After we had the meal, they told us to go to the mountain to see the infinite scenery and gave us some tree fossils they found. The kids love it very much! One last sentence. We stayed during the May Day, but we forgot to comment when we came back, very sorry. I hope that in the following Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, the haze of the epidemic will be swept away, and everyone will gather in peace and enjoy the beauty of time.

Honestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city. My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard. It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time. I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference: 1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting. 2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫

The former Wangfu, the courtyard house that can be accommodated now, is very close to Nanluoguxiang, very quiet in the middle of noisy, sent the manager's arrangement to a friend, the friend said: It feels like a big event, the movie viewing experience is excellent, the environment sound effect, the terrace meal just catches up with the sunset, let people linger, The restaurant supervisor not only arranges food, but also helps to leave beautiful scenery. There have always been a courtyard plot, perfect!

The decoration of the homestay is very special, it should be a designer hotel! The lighting atmosphere is also in place! The hotel has free parking, children's slippers and toothbrushes, breakfast types are also OK, there are some! There is a slide, and the little pot friends like it very much. There are also crawler nets and trampolines in the yard, and you should choose here next time. Satisfied with the facilities in the room are very complete, and the service of the service staff is also very good

To experience the authentic courtyard atmosphere, I specifically chose the hotel's Hutong Suite. Outside, Beijing was freezing, but as soon as I entered the room, I was instantly warmed. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and in the evening, they even provided a complimentary wellness tea and special small snacks, which was a very thoughtful touch! In the morning, I also enjoyed the hotel's breakfast in-room dining service, recharging for the day in the ancient-style room. A special shout-out to Chloe and Willow, thank you for your warm and attentive service. I will definitely choose to stay here again next season!

After knowing that I was here for my birthday, the lady was very considerate and upgraded the room type. The service attitude was very good and the words were very gentle. After checking in, there was no one in the lobby~ It felt like home! There are three or four doors from the lobby to the room, and the sense of security is full🤍 The room is fully equipped and clean. When I got up, the blinds were on vacation. A very satisfying staycation~

Because lazy is usually rarely commented. But this hotel really can't help but need to manually like 👍. After getting off the bus, the staff enthusiastically went out to greet and help with luggage. The room was very clean and the view from the window was very good. Breakfast is simple but warm and delicious. There is also a lively night market at night, and a reservoir walk in the morning. Eating, supper, takeaway are very convenient. There is also a camp park nearby for rest. Very pleasant to spend two days of leisure time.

We chose the Guangzhou Four Seasons for our anniversary. It's been a while since we last visited, and it's even more beautiful after the renovation. They called beforehand to ask about our check-in needs, and the room was a wonderful surprise! They said it was just a simple setup, but they also gave us chocolates and red wine. A huge thank you to Claire, Emily, and Zoey for their thoughtful, attentive, and thorough service. We'll definitely be back! This is, in my opinion, the number one hotel in Guangzhou. The environment, service, ambiance, and overall check-in experience were absolutely perfect! And the breakfast was delicious too, with a rich variety of options and so many mini cakes. The only downside was the foggy weather; next time we'll come back on a clear day to get a full view of the Canton Tower.

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria New York was exceptional in every way. From the moment I arrived, the service felt thoughtful, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member I interacted with was attentive without being intrusive, creating a sense of ease throughout my stay. The Deluxe Room was beautifully appointed—quiet, immaculate, and designed with a timeless elegance that reflects the hotel’s historic character. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room layout made it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. Common areas are stunningly restored, blending classic New York grandeur with modern comfort. Everything—from the lobby to the elevators—felt meticulously maintained. The location is unbeatable. Being in the heart of Midtown made it effortless to get to meetings, restaurants, and landmarks. Despite the central location, the hotel felt like a calm retreat from the city’s energy. Overall, my stay was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria to anyone seeking a luxurious and well‑run hotel in New York.

Stayed in a homestay with an excellent experience. The rooms are warm and elegant, the bedding is clean and tidy, and the hygiene is guaranteed. The owner of the homestay is warm and hospitable, not only provides travel advice, but also has a great location, very close to the beach, and there are many foods around, which is very convenient. The homestay also provides breakfast (simple and healthy) and likes to eat. The children are reluctant to go home and say they will stay here next time. Very suitable for group building and family gatherings. .

The service was incredibly thoughtful. I'd left an English book open in my room, read a few pages, and then rushed out to explore. This hotel is elegant and full of exquisite details. Whether it is the lobby, the room or even the elevator, I was amazed by the artistic atmosphere. The scones in the cafe on the first floor are delicious and recommended to try, but I think there is room for improvement in the pancakes. The water volume in the bath and shower in the bathroom is extremely large. The Beverly Hills community atmosphere is very friendly and the residents are very polite.
