I booked first class; it's a bit more expensive, but it's worth it. You're immediately escorted to the second floor. The journey is quiet, with snacks and coffee provided. The seats are very comfortable. There are two immaculate bathrooms, right here on the second floor. All the amenities are there. You're let out first, which is very convenient.

I was so happy when I saw the boat ticket to Macao was 0 rupiah, thanks to the "Fly You to Macao" program from the Macau Ministry of Tourism. The boat was great, just show your booking proof and passport, it was very easy, and there were lots of signs to get to the entrance. You have to be careful because there are several other boats there too. The 1-hour trip didn't feel too long because it was comfortable. Thank you Macao Government Tourism🫶👏

We booked a family room and a triple room. We told the front desk that we wanted to check in at 3 PM, but they hadn't given us the room cards by then. We got one room first, and the triple room across the hall was still being cleaned. We wanted to be next to each other, but the front desk staff had a really bad attitude and told us it didn't matter where we slept since we weren't sleeping together anyway. We found out that a former leader had stayed here before. That's why our family room was upgraded to a 'sea view' room, but the view outside was just mediocre.

I recently stayed at the Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 for a business trip, and I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of transparency regarding their room tiers. I specifically paid a significant premium to book a ”Luxury Room,” expecting a tangible upgrade in space, amenities, or at least a higher standard of decor compared to the entry-level categories. However, after checking into my room and then visiting my colleague’s room—who had booked the ”Superior Room”—I was shocked to find they were virtually identical. The layout, the square footage, the furnishings, and even the bathroom setup were exactly the same. Aside from perhaps being on a slightly different floor, there was absolutely nothing ”Luxury” about my stay that justified the price hike over the Superior room. When you stay at a Accor/Sofitel property, you expect a clear distinction between room classes. Here, it felt like a predatory pricing tactic where the hotel charges more for the exact same product under a different name. The service at the hotel was fine, and the French-meets-Macanese aesthetic is nice, but I cannot overlook the feeling of being overcharged for an ”upgrade” that didn't actually exist. If you are planning to stay here, save your money and just book the Superior Room. Do not fall for the ”Luxury” tier trap—it is a complete waste of money. I won't be returning to this property on my next trip to Macau.

Location: It's a 20-minute walk from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, and a 30-minute ride from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge border gate on the Sands Hotel shuttle. After getting off, Artyzen Grand Lapa is right next door, which is very convenient. Within a 10-minute walk, you can reach attractions like Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Lotus Square, and the Grand Prix Museum. There are many elevators on the streets of Macau for crossing overhead walkways or underpasses, which is very user-friendly. Macau cars drive fast, so be sure to follow traffic rules and make the most of escalators and elevators on the roadside. You can take the Sands shuttle next door to places like The Venetian in Taipa. Walking to the Ruins of St. Paul's and Grand Lisboa takes 30-40 minutes. Public buses are also very convenient; use a ride-hailing app to automatically convert currency and pay. Ambiance: The hotel is indeed a bit old, with a retro feel, but it's very clean. There's a slight damp smell, but it's not bothersome. The room windows are sealed, offering a decent view but not much airflow. We booked connecting rooms with a double door in the middle. We had staff open it beforehand for access. It was essentially one king room connected to one twin room, perfect for families. However, be sure not to close the door to the twin room, as it can't be opened once shut. If you need soundproofing, just close the door to the king room. You can use mainland chargers directly in the room, and the hotel also provides adapter cables, which is a thoughtful touch. Although a bit old, it's clean and tidy. The toiletries and bath products are high-quality, with a white tea scent. There's a capsule coffee machine and tea bags, and two separate bathrooms are very convenient. Service: The hotel management is very organized. From the moment we entered, the service was excellent. During our two-night, three-day stay, I never had to open the lobby door myself; the doormen were always friendly, greeting us and offering help. Check-in was orderly, and every staff member was very nice, automatically switching languages for each guest without any arrogance or discrimination. They listened patiently to guests' needs and offered excellent suggestions. Luggage storage was also very organized, with room numbers on tags for each piece of luggage, so there was no worry about mixing them up. The staff were very diligent and friendly. At check-out, they proactively asked for feedback and didn't pressure for good reviews, sending us off with smiles. Complaints: The room's soundproofing isn't great. We could clearly hear conversations from next door, not to mention the sound of flushing toilets, which was even more noticeable. Light sleepers should consider this carefully. Because I didn't want to be disturbed, I pressed the 'do not disturb' switch every day before leaving, but upon returning, I found that someone had still entered and cleaned the room. While I appreciate the cleaning service, since I had already pressed the 'do not disturb' button, I hope the cleaning staff will pay more attention. Regarding smoking, the hotel has clear no-smoking signs, and there's a designated smoking area outside the lobby. On the streets, 'no smoking, fine' signs are everywhere. Self-awareness is key! Overall, the check-in experience was good value for the price. The hotel isn't as lively as some casino hotels but is more suitable for guests who prefer a quiet and quality stay. I would choose Artyzen Grand Lapa again on my next visit to Macau.

This was my second stay at Studio City Macau. I originally chose it hoping my kids could experience the indoor water park, but due to a packed schedule, we ended up not going and focused mostly on shopping. The hotel's location and amenities are definitely convenient, but the weekend premium is just too high. This time, the Celebrity Tower room cost nearly 2800 RMB. Compared to my previous stay in the Star Tower, I didn't feel any corresponding improvement in service despite the room upgrade. The overall service was quite average, definitely not up to five-star hotel standards. There was no attentive service, not even basic turndown service. It felt very procedural and impersonal. Honestly, if you're just going for the water park, you could totally stay at another hotel with better value for money and just buy individual tickets to the park – it would be more cost-effective. This hotel might be acceptable when prices are under 1000 RMB on weekdays, but paying almost 3000 RMB for one night really isn't worth it; the value for money is pretty low. I made a spontaneous decision when booking because my child had SATs, and there weren't many rooms left even three weeks in advance. If you're taking the SATs at the Escola Kao Yip exam center, I'd recommend New Oriental Landmark Hotel. It's just a short walk through an underpass to the school. I redeemed points and only paid a little over 600 RMB per night, saving more than 500 RMB – excellent value! It's in the old district, so it's not as bustling as hotels in Taipa, but it has King Cafe downstairs, which is perfect for kids rushing to an exam in the morning. Compared to many hotels in tier-3 and tier-4 cities in mainland China, service is becoming increasingly thoughtful and personalized. In contrast, these major five-star hotels in Macau still have a significant gap in service awareness and warmth. My overall experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't particularly recommend it. Just choose according to your needs. I also want to specifically mention the deposit issue. I checked in on March 14th and authorized the deposit via VISA. I've been back in Shanghai for several days now, and the deposit still hasn't been refunded. After inquiring with Ctrip, I was told I'd have to wait a month for it to be returned. This is the slowest deposit refund I've ever experienced in all my hotel stays, both domestically and internationally. Many places no longer even require a deposit, yet this hotel, with a 2800 RMB per night room, still charges a 1000 MOP deposit and has such a slow refund process. It's truly inexplicable and greatly detracts from the overall experience. And speaking of last year, we stayed here in February too, and compared to the New Year decorations last year, that moving red zodiac snake installation was absolutely stunning and created such a great atmosphere, whereas this year it was just a plain white carriage, much more uninspired in design. There was none of the thoughtfulness or highlights of previous years, and the overall impression was significantly worse.

I spent a few days in Macau during Chinese New Year and chose The Parisian Macao. The experience far exceeded my expectations – it's definitely my top choice for a relaxing getaway and picture-perfect moments. 📍 **Location & Transportation**: Located in the heart of the Cotai Strip, it's connected to The Venetian and The Londoner by indoor walkways. You can explore all three resorts without needing an umbrella, even on a rainy day. There's a free shuttle bus directly to the border gates and airport, making travel super convenient. 🏨 **Lobby & Rooms**: The 35-meter high French-style dome mural and crystal chandeliers give you an immediate sense of being transported to Paris the moment you walk in. Every snapshot is a hit on social media! The rooms are clean and comfortable, with skin-friendly bedding and exquisite bathroom amenities. Soundproofing and cleanliness are excellent. The front desk is responsive, and you can store your luggage for free. 🍽️ **Dining**: The hotel offers a variety of dining options with different cuisines, price points, and atmospheres to suit every guest's preference. During our stay, we dined most frequently at the 'Colourful Flavor' restaurant on the first floor. They have freshly made Cantonese dim sum and Western cold dishes. The prices are moderate, and the portions are generous and delicious. 📸 **Must-Visit Spots**: Don't miss the free observation deck on the 7th floor of the Eiffel Tower for sunset and city views; capture the Eiffel Tower's reflection by the pool; and take an upward shot of the lobby dome for maximum ambiance. **Friendly Tip**: The shuttle bus can have queues during peak hours, so allow plenty of time. Overall, it's perfect for couples and family trips, offering romance, shopping, dining, and convenient transportation all in one place. Highly recommended!

The room was excellent: spacious, clean, bright, and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there were no issues with the room itself or the comfort of the stay. However, the level of welcome was completely inconsistent with the hotel's standard and price. First, they required a deposit upon check-in. This seems odd for a hotel of this category, especially since they simply refuse to let you in without one. Second, check-in is only until 3:00 PM. For me, that's quite late—I travel a lot, and at hotels of this caliber, I often find more flexible or early check-in. Overall, the room itself and the accommodations were very good, but the check-in process left a bad impression.

This time, I made a last-minute booking at Holiday Inn Macau. During check-in, Mr. Wang at the front desk was professional and efficient. After understanding my situation, he proactively upgraded me to an executive floor suite. He wasn't overtly enthusiastic, but his attention to detail made me feel genuinely valued. It happened to be the fourth day of the ***** New Year, and in the morning, the hotel had a lion dance and a 'God of Wealth' performance. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic – a nice, ceremonial touch. The executive floor was relatively quiet, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay overall. What truly left an impression on me was what happened afterward. After checking out, I realized I had left my ring in the room, which naturally made me anxious. Upon contacting the hotel, the housekeeping manager quickly helped confirm its location and retrieve it. The entire communication process was efficient, and the sense of reassurance brought by such professionalism was more important than any physical amenity.

This veteran five-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation. The room was exceptionally clean, making for a very comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the stunning light show, which created such a magical atmosphere and added to the overall experience. The shopping was also incredible, with so many stores, restaurants, and things to see, making it easy to spend hours exploring without getting bored. Traveling to and from the hotel was extremely convenient. The ferry shuttles were easy to find, well organized, and very affordable, which made getting around Macau simple and stress-free. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Grand Lisboa and Wynn hotels. I honestly couldn't believe it when I saw my tech bag – every single cable was coiled up and organized, and they even provided a mouse pad for my mouse! Housekeeping really went above and beyond! 👍 The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every staff member I encountered throughout the entire Galaxy complex, from the shopping mall to the hotel, was incredibly nice and friendly. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau!

The breakfast was pretty mediocre, kind of like what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel or a budget chain in mainland China. My neighbors were a bit noisy, even though it was brief, it was still pretty awkward; my kid was blushing. Everything else was fine. The food at the ice cream parlor downstairs was delicious. The curry was light and suited my taste, and the crispy bone noodles were really good and worth recommending. The service was also very attentive.

This hotel is super convenient! It's an easy walk to all the major peninsula attractions like Grand Lisboa, Lisboa Casino, Wynn, and Senado Square. The room was really clean and tidy, and the staff were attentive and patient. I especially loved that the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, with both a shower and a bathtub. Definitely excellent value for money!

The hotel service was excellent. The front desk helped us with change, which saved us from an awkward situation with the taxi driver. They also upgraded us to a sea-view room, where we could see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. Although there was construction downstairs, it didn't disturb our rest; there was barely any noise. The hotel also offered welcome drinks – even if it was just a simple beverage, it was a thoughtful gesture. There's a 'cha chaan teng' (Hong Kong-style cafe) nearby where you can grab breakfast.

This is my second time staying at the Grand Lapa, and this time I brought my family for a weekend trip to Macau to enjoy the local cuisine. Our flight was delayed, so we didn't arrive at the hotel until after midnight. The front desk staff kindly upgraded our room after confirming our check-in details, which was a pleasant surprise and made me anticipate a wonderful stay. My premonition was indeed accurate! We opted for the hotel's breakfast buffet, and while the variety wasn't extensive, the chef's culinary skills were excellent, especially the curry beef brisket, which my family and I all loved. The service, as always, was impeccable and attentive 👍🏻. If I had to point out a flaw, there were a few minor issues: some of the equipment might be a bit old. There was a faint buzzing sound in the suite, especially noticeable at night, which didn't seem to come from the AC vent. This definitely needs to be looked into! Overall, this was my experience, and I hope the hotel continues to improve. I'll be back again! 😄

During my stay, I was incredibly impressed by both the hotel's service and its ambiance. The front desk staff were warm and meticulous, proactively asking about my needs during check-in and even thoughtfully informing me about the opening hours of nearby attractions. My room was simply decorated yet stylish, with soft, comfortable bedding and excellent blackout curtains that ensured I had a great night's sleep. The toiletries in the bathroom had a subtle, pleasant scent, demonstrating attention to detail. The restaurant's breakfast spread was extensive, offering everything from Western pastries to Chinese congee, and the chef would even adjust the food temperature according to guests' preferences. When checking out, the staff kindly helped with my luggage and gave me a souvenir with the hotel's logo, a thoughtful gesture that added many wonderful memories to my trip. Overall, the service here is professional yet personalized, making it an ideal choice for both business trips and leisure vacations.

Chose to stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Macau for New Year's Eve! As a long-time fan, I absolutely adore the style and service at MO. They even upgraded my room since they knew I was celebrating the New Year, and sent a New Year's cake in the evening. The room view was absolutely stunning, with a direct view of the Macau Tower. Even the breakfast was delicious! When I checked out, it just so happened to be the morning of Chinese New Year, and I got to see the lion dance. My good fortune this year was brought to me by the Mandarin Oriental, and I definitely want to stay here again next time!

It was our anniversary and Gary at reception offered us a lte check out since we arrived at the hotel quite late. We were also upgraded together with a free red wine as our gift and we were thrilled and we were further offered 2 complimentary breakfast althought we didn't use att the end. I found out that I didn't take my airpods with me at the time when I checked out and we went to lunch. I came back and then 2 receptionists helped me out and called the room to bring it back down even after checkout, I m so pleased by the services Ascott provided me and to us. Thank you very much and I will for sure come again. Btw the room we stayed was really nice spacious and comfortable.

Shuttle 🚗: The hotel is located near Fisherman's Wharf, with a bus stop right outside the door. Bus 3A goes directly to Border Gate. The hotel doesn't offer a shuttle from Border Gate, but you can take the Sands or Jai Alai shuttles, and it's just a few minutes' walk from there. However, the hotel does offer free shuttle services to other hotels and Border Gate starting at noon, but you need to inform the lobby staff 15 minutes in advance. Cleanliness: It was clean and hygienic, a decent stay. The weekday price offers good value for money. Facilities: The bathroom has a bathtub and a separate wet and dry shower area, and the water pressure was excellent, which I really appreciated. However, items like hangers were a bit hidden 🤣, and it took me a while to find them. Environment: The surrounding area is close to Lotus Square, the harbor, and Fisherman's Wharf, as well as residential areas and casinos. The hotel's Golden Dragon Restaurant and Golden Tree Japanese Restaurant really won me over 😆 – delicious food, and hotel guests even get a 10% discount. Service: Whether it was the front desk staff, the doormen, customer service, or the shuttle drivers, everyone's attitude was excellent 👍👍👍

The room was clean and spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the shower pressure and temperature were just right, allowing me to sleep soundly every night. It will definitely be my first choice next time I visit this city.

Although our room didn't have the best view, the Four Seasons truly sets the bar high for hotels we've stayed at, both in terms of facilities and service. What really stood out was the warmth and professionalism of every single staff member we encountered. It's clear the hotel is meticulously and expertly managed, with real substance behind its impressive facade. This stay created wonderful memories for my family, especially for the little ones. If I visit Macau again, the Four Seasons will undoubtedly be my first choice, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends planning a trip here.

Booked a three-night stay at the Grand Emperor Hotel in Macau starting on the seventh day of the ***** New Year. This hotel has been around for almost 20 years, but the room facilities are still relatively new and clean. It's super convenient to walk to popular spots like the Ruins of St. Paul's, Grand Lisboa Hotel, Wynn Macau, and MGM. A one-day city walk around the peninsula is definitely enough time. We even went to eat at Parlament Noodle Shop, which was just over 1km away. The hotel staff were also warm and attentive; even though it was fully booked the day we arrived, the service wasn't chaotic or slow at all. **Transportation TIPS🪶➰** After arriving at Macau Airport, you can take the shuttle bus to Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel. Then, transfer at the hotel's B1 level to a shuttle bus going to Grand Lisboa Hotel. From there, it's just a few minutes' walk to the Grand Emperor Hotel. (For those traveling with seniors, children, or a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi to avoid hassle and exhaustion.)

I stayed at Altira Macau for a few days at the end of 2021, and coming back after four years, I'm truly amazed at what an impeccable hotel this is. In terms of facilities, the air conditioning was cool and quiet, and didn't blow directly onto the bed. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from outside the window or the hallway. The bathroom and the sofa lounge area were both very spacious, never feeling cramped at all. As for service, all the hotel staff were warm, polite, and made us feel right at home. And the convenience is undeniable: there are restaurants, supermarkets, and banks all around the hotel. It's incredibly easy to call a taxi or take public transport, and it's only about a ten-minute drive to either Coloane or the Macau Peninsula. What's particularly worth mentioning is the lounge on the 38th floor, which is very comfortable and perfect for a nightcap. I'm already planning my next trip before this one even ends, and I'll definitely choose Altira Macau again without hesitation when I return to Macau. I saw a review that said, 'If you're not satisfied with a hotel like this, are you expecting to live in a heavenly palace?' I couldn't agree more!

Our family trip to Macau for Chinese New Year was fantastic, and the hotel experience was top-notch! We arrived before the official check-in time, and the front desk staff, Lulu, saw that I had elderly parents and children with me, so she arranged an early check-in for us. She even coordinated with the back office regarding our booking – the service was just excellent. The hotel's location is also super convenient. It's only about a 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Lisboa, and public transport nearby is easily accessible. Plus, the Western restaurant next to the hotel is really great too.

If you're looking for a luxury experience or brand-new facilities, you might be disappointed. However, as a convenient and high-value base, especially for tourists planning to frequently explore, the Presidential Hotel remains a practical choice. It's recommended to prioritize high-floor, non-smoking rooms to avoid noise and unpleasant odors.

The hotel is very close to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, about a 30 RMB taxi ride or just three bus stops away. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, and their Mandarin was excellent, making communication a breeze. Although the room wasn't huge, it was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with good soundproofing. Breakfast is served on the third floor, offering both Chinese and Western options. You can even scan a QR code to order freshly cooked eggs and noodles delivered right to your table. The hotel's location is fantastic. Downstairs, you'll find a wide variety of eateries, including snack shops, local tea restaurants, Portuguese cuisine, and even a McDonald's. There are also several supermarkets nearby. It's just a 10-minute walk to Wynn Macau. From there, you can take a shuttle bus to Wynn Palace in Cotai, which then gives you easy access to The Venetian, The Londoner, The Parisian, and Studio City. It's incredibly convenient!

Drove to Zhuhai, and since I had my HMT travel permit, I smoothly crossed over to Macau and chose to stay at The Karl Lagerfeld. The hotel's decor is grand, the room size is good, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean. Plus, they offer unlimited bottled water, which is a nice touch. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that!
