We drove to Chengdu, and since there are traffic restrictions based on license plates, having a parking lot at this hotel was incredibly convenient. The security guard was also very kind and welcoming. The front desk staff was diligent and responsible. The room wasn't huge, but it was very elegant, and the bedding was super comfortable. There are lots of great food options nearby, and it's really close to Chunxi Road. If you want to go to Sanxingdui, you can just take a bus from Chunxi Road. Chengdu truly is a relaxing city! After a long day of sightseeing, coming back and having some tea was just perfect. The front desk even gave us a Wenshu Monastery prayer bracelet with 18 beads!

The location is excellent, very close to Metro Line 2 and convenient for buses. Kuanzhai Alley is also nearby and within walking distance. There are plenty of dining options in the surrounding area, catering to all budgets. The room was spacious enough, and it came with tea bags, soft candies, and cookies. In the hallway, there were cold fruit drinks and hot coffee available. All the hotel staff were very friendly. The hygiene was good, and the facilities were neither new nor old. The bathroom occasionally had a slight odor, but that's a minor point, and overall, I highly recommend it.

I have to say, this is one of the most satisfying hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby smells lovely, and there's free coffee and drinks! The service is also exceptionally good; the front desk staff are polite and helpful, and the housekeeping ladies always greet you proactively, which is very pleasant. It's also very convenient for getting around, being close to the subway and bus stations – just a 2-minute walk. It's also near Chunxi Road and Jiuyan Bridge. There's a laundry room on the first floor with free 24-hour use of washing machines and dryers, which is really convenient! Overall, I'll definitely stay here again!

We chose this hotel because it was close to the zoo and panda base, and the receptionist, Xiao Shu, greeted us warmly as soon as we entered the lobby. She gave our child candy and even provided slippers and a children's toothbrush – very thoughtful! The hotel environment was great, and there were many snack shops, hot pot restaurants, barbecue restaurants, and skewers restaurants nearby, all with delicious food. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the shower temperature was just right. The air conditioning was also very smart. We could call the front desk for any issues, and they always resolved them promptly. The service was truly excellent.

One of the charging ports by the bed wasn't working. After getting out of the taxi, I couldn't find the hotel name anywhere nearby. I had to call customer service, and only then did they tell me a different hotel name, which allowed me to check in. The air conditioning left a strange odor in the room after use. In the middle of the night, I woke up to find the entire room had lost power; it only came back on after I wiggled the key card. When I turned off the TV with the remote, two large blue lights stayed on, making the room too bright. I had to cover them with toilet paper, as there was no way to turn them off completely.

The hotel is a little hard to find the first time, with the elevator tucked in amid an array of food vendors, but when you get up the elevator it’s a pleasant surprise how clean and well decorated it is. I was pretty flustered, having forgotten a wrist-watch in a previous hotel on our tour. I was ready to consider it lost, but their desk-staff 罗婷婷 (LuoTingTing) left me feeling assured that it would arrive in the few days I was visiting Chengdu. She had a very cheerful and calming disposition, which left me feeling like everything would be ok. The whole team at the front made me feel really welcomed, and well looked after, even the cleaning staff were all smiles and pleasant greetings in the mornings. Our room was super comfortable, and we even got a bathtub on the patio! It was right at the metro station, so we could get anywhere in the city pretty conveniently, and all the food options right downstairs were amazing. I would definitely recommend them for your next visit to Chengdu. Oh, and I did get my watch back!

An amazing, serene, quiet stay like no other. Don't get me wrong. 4 stars for location only because it is a little remote. It was not easy to geta Didi to go there, and we had a bit of difficulty to book a Didi leaving this beautiful heavenly resort. We arrived this beautiful homestay quite late, having spent the day in Chengdu. Didi ride was almost an hour+. Dinner was fabulous - simple, yet complex with mountain mushrooms in a hot pot. Accommodating even though the kitchen was closing due to our time of arrival. This place certainly did not disappoint. From the quietness of the streams, to the beautiful, tranquil rooms and evoked a sense of harmony and serenity with nature, we felt so at home. We basked in silence of the bamboo that spoke to themselves, and the running waters through the gentle streams. Both the service staff (names as shown - in Mandarin) were excellent and they always wore smiles as lasting as the QingCheng mountains. Service par excellence - nothing less. Thank you for taking care of us, with sincerity and gentleness as the mountains itself. A place to remember, and return. Thank you.

Honestly, I never write reviews, but this time I stayed in such a high-end guesthouse, so I just had to! First, it was my wife and my first time visiting Mount Qingcheng. When I first saw the price, I was a bit hesitant. But to make my wife happy, I went for it. We arrived quite late, so after a quick check-in, I took a bath and went straight to bed. The next morning, oh my goodness, I was truly amazed. The mountains, mist, birdsong, fragrant flowers, and running water all combined to create an absolutely stunning experience. It felt like stumbling into a fairyland! For breakfast, honestly, the variety isn't huge, but it's incredibly delicious! Especially since the guesthouse has its own bread oven, so the bread is freshly baked – you know what I mean. I had no desire to go out and explore. Since we checked in late, I discussed with the housekeeper to extend our check-out to 2 PM, and by chance, we ended up having afternoon tea! What a pleasant surprise. I stayed at a luxury campground called Getaway while studying in Boston, USA, and it was quite nice. This summer, I unexpectedly found a similar campground while traveling in Dujiangyan, so I booked a more upscale room to compare. Although the RV itself is strikingly similar to those in the US (copycat?), the other facilities are definitely much better than the campgrounds we stayed at in the US. 1) Hot water: Need I say more? 2) Courtyard + restaurant: Three meals a day are provided. The courtyard is paved and has a hot spring bath, making it more private and comfortable than in the US. 3) Service: You can contact the front desk anytime via WeChat, and they will immediately send someone to deliver anything you need (water, barbecue, etc.). Very convenient! The campground environment is beautiful; being in the mountains does give you a sense of seclusion, but all your material needs are met. I recommend it to those who enjoy luxury campgrounds!

The staffs are helpful but might hv some difficulty to understand some crucial request. I asked for no room clean but need water bottles and ended up getting none. I very like the carpetted room but I found few strains of hair left, the housekeepers could do abit more hard vacuum during cleaning I guess. Others were spotless. There a lot of eateries and shops around the hotel and this is very convenient for guests. The local post office is nearby for someone love to postcross too. Very recommend this hotel for all travellers coming to Chengdu.

This place was such a good find for us travelling with our toddler. It was like an apartment with great features such as a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and drier, but with all services and amenities of a 5 star hotel as well such as room service, daily cleaning, and hotel breakfast. The room separation to the living area was a bonus for us with a toddler with an earlier bed time, and this hotel was was the only place during our travels where they provided a proper cot rather than a travel or foldable one. First off, my room was upgraded from Block D to Block E. While it's a bit further from the Ocean Park, it's still a very short walk. Plus, there's a hotel shuttle that runs between the lobby, Ocean Park, and the rooms, so no matter where you stay, it's perfectly fine. I also chatted with customer service manager Mr. Zhao about a 1-hour late check-out, and that was arranged smoothly. If you're two adults and one child, they offer a complimentary children's breakfast upon check-in, but you'll need to purchase an extra Ocean Park ticket for the child. This time, my kid spent two full days in the water. We checked in at 1:30 PM on the first day, had a quick rest, then changed into swimsuits and headed straight to Ocean Park. We played from 2:30 PM until 7 PM. On the second day, after breakfast, we changed back into our swimsuits and played until 2 PM, then came back, showered, and checked out. I feel like we could have easily stayed another day, as we spent all our time playing in the water and had no time for shopping.

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding. I was generously upgraded to a Club Suite, which was a lovely surprise. When I was feeling unwell, the team kindly arranged some ice for me, and when I slept in and missed the usual Club breakfast timing, they graciously allowed me to enjoy breakfast even though it normally finishes at 11 am. These thoughtful gestures made such a difference and demonstrated genuine care for their guests. A very special thank you to Meria Pan, whose hospitality, professionalism, and kindness were exceptional. She made me feel genuinely looked after, and I cannot thank her enough for going the extra mile to ensure my comfort. She is a real credit to the hotel. Another highlight was the excellent service throughout the property. All the staff I encountered spoke English and were friendly, attentive, and professional, making the entire experience seamless and comfortable. The buffet at Spices Restaurant was also excellent, with an extensive variety of dishes to choose from, all delicious and beautifully presented. What sets this hotel apart is not just the beautiful accommodation or excellent dining, but the genuine warmth and willingness of the team to go above and beyond for their guests. Every year, I visit Chengdu for a few recuperation trips, and it's always the Grand Hyatt. It feels like visiting old friends… It's been many years, and I've watched the Grand Hyatt grow and improve step by step… Every detail is a testament to the hard work of every Grand Hyatt employee! This National Day, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt again and clearly felt the changes in team management and the subtle improvement in service. The new employees were humble and enthusiastic, and the experienced staff and management showed great insight and quick, effective problem-solving skills – thumbs up! 👍 **Facilities:** The room was cozy and comfortable. The hotel had installed anti-collision protection on sharp corners in the bathroom, and anti-slip reminders around the bathtub. The peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling was also refreshed, and the room corners were clean, with toiletries replenished promptly. **Dining:** The executive lounge ambiance was still great; I especially love that touch of Hermès orange… The cakes, pastries, and drinks were unchanged, still of Grand Hyatt quality. However, the orange juice was too diluted. I suspect the Chinese chef in the executive lounge has changed, as the Chinese food has lost its previous Chengdu characteristics, and the quality of the ingredients is significantly worse than before, especially the cold mixed bean curd skin and garlic pork belly, which were particularly salty. For breakfast, the overall quality and features were maintained. Dandan noodles were still the most popular. However, most of the fruit and vegetable juices were too watered down, affecting the taste and quality. The previous carrot, celery, and bitter gourd juices were replaced by a 'vitality water' that felt cheap. The whole wheat bread was hard and not fresh enough! **Issues and Suggestions:** When collecting entrusted luggage, it's understandable that a luggage tag is required for security. However, if a guest cannot produce the luggage tag due to special circumstances, there should be alternative ways to verify the owner of the luggage, instead of demanding a photocopy of their ID. Such a non-compliant action could lead to the leakage of guest information and undesirable consequences, for which the hotel would be unable to bear responsibility! Finally, I'd like to express my gratitude once again to every staff member of the Grand Hyatt Chengdu for their hard work! I hope the Grand Hyatt Chengdu continues to thrive! Ever since I received such warm assistance from the Shangri-La during the pandemic, I've chosen this hotel every time I visit Chengdu. Although the hotel is a bit older, all its facilities are very well-maintained. The gym has a full range of high-quality equipment, and the changing rooms offer both steam and dry saunas, as well as a hot tub, definitely meeting a five-star standard. Towels are always plentiful. Housekeeping is punctual every day, and there's even a turn-down service between 6 and 7 PM. I find the breakfast quite good, with a variety of options including Japanese cuisine. The location is also excellent; for younger, more energetic guests, the Lan Kwai Fong bar street is just 100 meters to the right of the hotel. All things considered, the Shangri-La remains one of the top hotels in Chengdu.

I chose this hotel through Ctrip because I had an early flight the next morning and it's very close to Shuangliu Airport. It's about a ten-minute walk from Shuangliu Airport Station (high-speed rail station), and very convenient for getting to the city center via the T1 Terminal subway station. Even though it's close to the airport, it was still very quiet at night as there aren't many flights operating then. Breakfast started at 5:30 AM and offered a wide variety of options, including various cold and hot dishes, as well as local specialties like rice noodles and *xiaomian* (Sichuanese noodles). The hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport every half hour, but since our flight was departing from T1, we just walked over ourselves, and it took less than 10 minutes.

Choosing a hotel in a scenic spot, although there was some traffic when we arrived, being able to step out and immediately be in Taikoo Li, or turn a corner to Chunxi Road, and then look up to see the IFS panda – who understands that joy?! It's... a bit like a panda's side profile, haha. 😂 The room window faces the climbing panda on IFS. During the day, you see it diligently 'working'. At night, you still see it hanging there. There's a strange empathy, like 'I'm on vacation, and it's still working overtime'. The room has super large floor-to-ceiling windows. The rooftops of Taikoo Li are right below. When you're tired from shopping, you can just go back to the room and chill out. Once you've rested enough, you go downstairs and continue shopping. If you're coming to Chengdu and want to stay in the city center, and also want to gaze at a panda every day, then the Niccolo is definitely the place for you! 🐼✨

The minibar and complimentary laundry service were a nice touch. Service was prompt and the staff were friendly. However, shortly after I booked, the pool was suddenly announced to be closed. When I spoke to the front desk, they said they didn't have the authority to upgrade me to a suite. Upon check-out, they mistakenly charged for the complimentary laundry service. I only realized it after leaving and had to go back to remind them to refund the extra deposit, which was a bit annoying.

Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel is about to celebrate its 70th anniversary, and the philosophy of making guests feel at home is deeply ingrained in every staff member. Everyone I encountered in the hotel had a smile on their face. Although some rooms are currently undergoing renovation, you won't feel any inconvenience from the construction. The breakfast is rich and the service is meticulous. Because of my old age and poor eyesight, I couldn't find the toiletries. A staff member immediately brought them to me and pointed out where they were placed. It turned out I had mistakenly blamed the staff, but from the lobby to the service staff, everyone greeted me with smiles and genuine sincerity.

It feels like a mix between a hotel and a homestay. You have the convenience of modern hotel facilities, however the gardens and internal spaces are curated beautifully that makes you feel as though you’re not stuck in a concrete jungle, but rather tucked away in a zen oasis. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, and there is only one laundry so it may take some time if a lot of people are using it, but all in all it is a great place to stay when visiting Chengdu. The staff are also extremely kind and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!

But I had a lot of luggage, and I was hoping for something bigger. This upgrade really hit the spot, I love it! The room gets great light and has all the amenities – washing machine and fridge included. My living room even has a TV, so I can connect my game console and play, which is awesome. There's also a projector upstairs, so I can lie down and watch shows at night. Seriously, I'm obsessed, haha!
