Location: Super convenient, just right after you exit Central Station, turn right, and cross the skybridge. Room: Spacious with a large bed, perfect for traveling with kids. The bedding was also good. Cleanliness: Good. You can open the window for ventilation. Environment: Our standard room was on the fourth floor with no view. There's a building under construction across the street, but the noise wasn't an issue. Service: Breakfast was pretty decent. On our second stay, the key card stopped working twice, so we couldn't access the elevator and had to go to the front desk for re-authorization. Overall, it was still a very good stay.

The room is quite big and enough for 3 people with 2 big and 1 small luggage. The location is perfect, only around 3 mins to the Oslo Central Station. Oslo was the last station in Norway in a nutshell, even though you take the night train from Myrdal to Oslo, you can immediately arrive the hotel. There're many convenience store and restaurant around. Besides, the lemonade welcome drink at lobby was so good ans fresh. The only one thing is no shower partition at toilet. But I think the toilet is big enough, so it was still okay. Overall, it's a really nice hotel and worth to stay.

Although the hotel has a factory-like feel due to its numerous rooms, it truly offers excellent services and facilities for its guests. The building seemed a bit old, but the facilities and rooms were clean! Having a communal kitchen on the first floor made it convenient to eat outside food. They also have luggage storage, and it was easy to leave our bags at the office when going on the Nussel tour. The friendliness of the office staff varied from person to person. The elevator was a bit small. Oh, and even though it was summer, the indoor temperature was a bit chilly, so I slept with my jacket on. Nevertheless, I was satisfied.

We had a wonderful stay at Smart Hotel Oslo. The room had everything we needed, and we especially loved that the hotel provides Rituals toiletries – they are our favorite. The reception staff were always kind, welcoming, and helpful. We also really appreciated being able to check in a few hours before the official check-in time, as well as having access to the luggage storage room on our last day. Both made our trip much more comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and major attractions. There is also a great Chinese restaurant nearby serving delicious food, which was a nice bonus. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Oslo.

The room was just okay. I really disliked the bright red curtains; they felt quite basic. The table inside seemed flimsy, like it couldn't hold anything heavy. I booked a room with breakfast included, but it turns out it wasn't a proper breakfast—just a sandwich, yogurt, or coffee from the front desk. The prices here are shocking; a cup of coffee is 55, a banana is 15, a yogurt is 59, and a sandwich is around 100. A simple breakfast can easily cost several hundred. Norway's prices really make you hesitant to spend money. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the train station and close to a shopping mall. However, if you're pulling a big suitcase, getting to the hotel involves walking up a steep hill, which is quite a struggle. The area around is also under construction and a bit messy. Overall, Oslo, Norway, was just very average.

I took the ferry to Oslo, then a 7-minute walk after bus 81 from the port to reach the hotel. I got my room card an hour earlier than check-in time, and I really loved the top-floor room with a terrace. The hotel is right next to a shopping street. I bought an Oslo Pass, and many attractions are within walking distance, plus it's easy to catch any public transport. Although the furniture is a bit old, the room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is a bit older, but the rooms are very well maintained. I was surprised, however, that a double room was equipped with two single duvets – a setup I actually found quite comfortable. The blonde girl with the ponytail at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I booked the hotel specifically because reviews raved about the breakfast, and I found it quite good. They even offered hot broccoli and cabbage, which was a nice touch for those with a Chinese palate. The location is excellent. It's right next to a lively commercial street, and you can walk to the Central Station, art gallery, and museum in about ten to fifteen minutes.

The location is not that far from train and bus station, so you can walk about 17 minutes, if you don't have too big luggage. Otherwise, there are seversl tram lines that can take you there in just a two stops, while the stop is just in-front of the hotel. We only stay overnight, having a small breakfast box from the reception at 5 AM. The third bad was not ready, but the reception boy came in 10 mimutes and prepared it for us. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, but it was not for free, as usually in Norwegian hotels. Thrre was no coffee in the room, as well.

I didn't have time to use the facilities as my flight was changed and I needed to leave early in the morning. I didn't realize breakfast was included (I feel like it usually isn't in Norway), and that was a pleasant surprise, even if I didn't have time to try it. However, the best part of my stay was when I checked out very early to catch my train to the airport and the person in reception offered me a packed breakfast to go since I didn't have time to eat. I passed as I had too much luggage to manage one more thing, but I really appreciated the gesture and it was such a nice start to a long day of intercontinental travel.

Excellent! Located in the city center, convenient for shopping, though a bit of a walk from the train station. There are also good Chinese restaurants nearby. All the hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean, especially the handsome concierge and the stunningly beautiful receptionist. At breakfast, a very kind Asian lady was incredibly attentive, respecting the elderly and caring for the young. She always made a point of asking if we wanted anything special, like egg rolls, which warmed my heart. Kindness is always rewarded. The hotel seems to frequently host DJ performances on the first floor; the place is always packed, creating a lively atmosphere.

The location is to my liking; the alleyway outside the hotel faces the beach, the old castle, and the city hall, making it convenient for walks along the beach and easy access to the castle. Turning left outside the hotel leads to the royal palace and church, which are just minutes away. It's about a 12-15 minute walk to the central train station. The cleanliness is good. The service is also good: I communicated with the front desk staff that I could check in at 2 PM for two days, leaving at 9 AM, and they agreed. The breakfast was plentiful, with vegetables, fruit, and avocado. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The hotel is very close to the central train station. In fact, you can cross the bridge (covered) to the nearby mall, exit on the 1st floor, cross the road and enter the hotel. The hotel's surroundings are dirty and less pleasant, both because of renovations and construction in the area and from a human perspective. A short walk (5 minutes) brings us to the main street, or to the central square, or to the opera house) The hotel itself, like the other chain hotels, is commendable. Free coffee/tea, water/soda in the lobby and sometimes also fruit and small pastries. We were given a spacious room on the fourth floor with large windows that can be opened. This is important when it's hot, but the windows face an internal courtyard so there is no view and no good air exchange. The room was ventilated, but there was no air conditioning. The bed was comfortable. A large and pleasant shower room with a wide shower that you don't have to crowd into. Two sinks and a large window. A seating area with two armchairs and a standing lamp (without the bulb itself...) The room was maintained to a reasonable but not excellent standard. (Lack of bulb, stains on the chair upholstery, clogged shower head that we asked to replace and it was replaced quickly). A very good, varied and wonderful breakfast like in the entire chain. We would return to this hotel if we had heavy luggage and came to stay overnight but not for a vacation.

On the day I arrived, dragging my luggage from the station on a slippery road, it took me a while to find it. I had a positive experience at Scandic Oslo hotel. The hotel is Situated in an excellent location close to the main landmarks of the city, close to public transportation, restaurants and shops. The room and common areas were decent and tidy. My room 302 was small but clean. All the room are well equipped with toiletries such as soap, shampoo and conditioner. Also hair dryer, lock and towels are available. There are no water bottles provided. Definitely I would recommend this hotel.

A beautiful room but experienced a number of disappointments. Hotel guests must pay a supplement daily charge to use the swimming pools AND book at designated time slot. I have NEVER experienced this at any hotel anywhere in the world. I was in a premium room, but this policy applies to all guests, which I think is awful. It was also impossible to get a spa appointment during my stay. Zero preference given to hotel guests. I strongly suggest you book spa treatments at least a week in advance of your arrival. Also, there is no turndown service, unusual for a highly priced 5* hotel. Housekeeping also finishes very early, or isn’t interested in guests who don’t align with their schedule. I had to work in my room but left at 2:45pm and it was not cleaned despite signalling the room needed making up. The reception team were polite, but chaotic. Generally, the hotel restaurants seem more focused on catering to outside guests, which is a shame.

The restaurant manager will deliver special drinks at the table and ask about the feeling; The morning bus was scheduled to leave the store, the front desk arranged breakfast in advance, and the luggage was stored for free (it is very convenient to go to the fjord to play so lightly). I have been used to staying at Thon brand hotel on business trips in Oslo. This Europa is in the city center and it is a seven- or eight-minute walk from National Theater Station. I was disappointed with K7 for several reasons. Mostly due to lack of sleep. K7 seems to be on a direct path for people walking home from pubs in the middle of the night, and the noise from the street comes right into the rooms. The is not K7’s fault, but it’s important to know if you want a good night of sleep, you might not get it here. In the rooms on the 2nd floor, you can’t open the windows (apparently for safety?) The dorm beds are the awful cheap ones where you can feel every movement of the person sleeping above or below you. Breakfast is very expensive for what you get. On a positive note, it’s very clean, and the staff are friendly.

Room and bathroom are spacious, bed is soft and comfortable. The only drawback is the amenities. There is no toothbrush provided, and I find the shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash a little too mild / diluted, would have preferred it to be thicker and foamier. Body soap is ok.

This is a great hotel to stay at on your trip to Bergen. The hotel has a fantastic location close to the water front and an easy walk to the tram, shopping, restaurants, among the many attractions. There are so many different places to eat and a wide variety of food to chose from. The hotel is staffed by very nice people who speak a variety of languages. There is free coffee and tea around the corner from the reception, and they have a small reception area with some seating to you can get a drink or just wait for friends to come down to the lobby. The breakfast, which opens at 6:30 is a dream! One of the best breakfasts I have seen in many years of traveling. The room are good sized, but that obvious depends on what you ask/pay for. We enjoyed out stay here immensely!

Definitely a busier part of town but we enjoyed being in the middle of it. Could see and hear the water fountains in the park from window. There is a little second level perch/balcony which was amazing to sit at during the evening sun while sipping some of the delicious white wine provided by hotel. Easy walk to the train stations and overall great location for walking to all of the places we wanted to go to. Beds were very comfortable and we had excellent sleep! Morning breakfast was amazing and had a very nice ambiance! I can’t believe the fresh juice station and health shots…America needs to step up the game as far as hotel breakfasts.

Location: Situated in northeast Oslo, next to office buildings and residential areas. It's about a 30-minute public transport ride to the city center (like Oslo Central Station). You can turn left out of the hotel and walk 10 minutes to Okern station for metro lines 4/5. To walk less, go straight for 3 minutes to Lorenvangen station and take bus 23 one stop to Okern T, then go down the stairs to catch metro lines 4/5. If you have luggage, I recommend taking bus 23 to Lorenvangen, as it's the closest stop to the hotel, just a 3-4 minute walk on a gentle incline. In Oslo, within the same zone, you can transfer between buses, metro, trams, and ferries without extra charge. I found it quite exhausting pushing two large suitcases from Okern metro station. Service: Throughout my 7-day stay, the front desk staff were always smiling and friendly. The cleaners would proactively ask if I wanted my room serviced. You can store your luggage for a short period after check-out, but not for several days. Breakfast: For Oslo, I'd say it's definitely worth the price. It's mostly Western-style breakfast. Vegetarian options include raw lettuce, carrot sticks, onion, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, etc., and cooked options like stir-fried cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms. Meat options include smoked salmon (available 6 out of 7 days), roasted bacon, meatballs, and small sausages. There were three or four types of European bread you could slice yourself. Fruit included bananas, apples, and pears. There were three kinds of yogurt, and nuts like almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, etc. Beverages included six or seven options, and coffee had five or six varieties; to get hot water, select the last option on the coffee machine. It starts at 6:30 AM on weekdays and 7:00-10:00 AM on weekends. Tips: 1. For your first visit, there are usually three routes from Okern metro station to the hotel (Image 16). The hotel is in the red circle. The green line is the shortest straight path but has a very high set of stairs before reaching the hotel (Image 6). The red line is flat road + gentle incline, recommended if you have a lot of luggage. The blue line is flat road + steep incline, the furthest and not recommended. 2. In the hotel, you select your floor directly on the elevator's touchscreen (Image 10), and it will tell you which elevator (A, B, or C) to take (Image 11). Once inside, the door closes, and it automatically goes to your floor without needing to swipe a card. The front desk is on the fourth floor. 3. The room does not require a card to activate power. The main power switch is a touchscreen on the wall (Image 9). The separate switch by the bathroom door was not very responsive. 4. You must swipe your card to lock the door when leaving!!! Unlike in China where the door locks automatically when closed. If you don't swipe, it can be opened from the outside. To deadlock the room from the inside, twist the inner handle. 5. There are five power outlets in the room: above the bathroom sink, by the bathroom door, on both sides of the bed, and for the floor lamp. However, some might not work, so it's best to bring a power strip. If you're only staying in Oslo for three or four days and mainly exploring the city center, I recommend staying at a hotel in the city center. It might be a few hundred more expensive but saves time, as public transport back and forth also costs around a hundred per person. If you're not in a hurry and prefer a quiet environment with a great breakfast, you can book this hotel. You'll sleep well, eat well, and enjoy a clean, quiet, and safe stay.

Especially the hotel is adjacent to the Royal Palace of Norway. The surrounding environment is very beautiful. The shops and apartments on both sides of the street have different architectural styles. Every window and balcony are decorated very elegantly. The room was very nice and the area was adequate. Breakfast and dinner were included in the stay, and afternoon tea was quite rich. The check-in lady at the front desk could speak a little Chinese, which was a good choice. It was a 20-minute walk to the main attractions. The price was very competitive in Oslo.

A beautiful room but experienced a number of disappointments. Hotel guests must pay a supplement daily charge to use the swimming pools AND book at designated time slot. I have NEVER experienced this at any hotel anywhere in the world. I was in a premium room, but this policy applies to all guests, which I think is awful. It was also impossible to get a spa appointment during my stay. Zero preference given to hotel guests. I strongly suggest you book spa treatments at least a week in advance of your arrival. Also, there is no turndown service, unusual for a highly priced 5* hotel. Housekeeping also finishes very early, or isn’t interested in guests who don’t align with their schedule. I had to work in my room but left at 2:45pm and it was not cleaned despite signalling the room needed making up. The reception team were polite, but chaotic. Generally, the hotel restaurants seem more focused on catering to outside guests, which is a shame.

I didn't have time to use the facilities as my flight was changed and I needed to leave early in the morning. I didn't realize breakfast was included (I feel like it usually isn't in Norway), and that was a pleasant surprise, even if I didn't have time to try it. However, the best part of my stay was when I checked out very early to catch my train to the airport and the person in reception offered me a packed breakfast to go since I didn't have time to eat. I passed as I had too much luggage to manage one more thing, but I really appreciated the gesture and it was such a nice start to a long day of intercontinental travel.

Excellent! Located in the city center, convenient for shopping, though a bit of a walk from the train station. There are also good Chinese restaurants nearby. All the hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean, especially the handsome concierge and the stunningly beautiful receptionist. At breakfast, a very kind Asian lady was incredibly attentive, respecting the elderly and caring for the young. She always made a point of asking if we wanted anything special, like egg rolls, which warmed my heart. Kindness is always rewarded. The hotel seems to frequently host DJ performances on the first floor; the place is always packed, creating a lively atmosphere.

Location: Super convenient, just right after you exit Central Station, turn right, and cross the skybridge. Room: Spacious with a large bed, perfect for traveling with kids. The bedding was also good. Cleanliness: Good. You can open the window for ventilation. Environment: Our standard room was on the fourth floor with no view. There's a building under construction across the street, but the noise wasn't an issue. Service: Breakfast was pretty decent. On our second stay, the key card stopped working twice, so we couldn't access the elevator and had to go to the front desk for re-authorization. Overall, it was still a very good stay.

The room was really clean, but there was no shampoo or conditioner. Also, the hairdryer was unfortunately broken. When I mentioned these issues to the receptionist upon check-out in the morning, they said, ”If you had contacted us earlier, we would have provided them.” Of course, in that moment, it's crucial for the conditions to be suitable. Despite these points, the hotel room was genuinely spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, there's no kettle. An iron and ironing board are available, just so you know. Even though this hotel is far from the city center, I would still recommend it.

I took the ferry to Oslo, then a 7-minute walk after bus 81 from the port to reach the hotel. I got my room card an hour earlier than check-in time, and I really loved the top-floor room with a terrace. The hotel is right next to a shopping street. I bought an Oslo Pass, and many attractions are within walking distance, plus it's easy to catch any public transport. Although the furniture is a bit old, the room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious.

Arrived in OSLO to be notified that our original hotel was unavailable as they had to host guests due to the Norwegian King's funeral. Booked Scandic Go Grensen at the last minute and was so glad they could accommodate us. The staff was very helpful as we had to reorganize our luggage porter service and had a few other administrative issues. It was very stressful situation but made so much better thanks to the 2 ladies at reception who were reassuring and helpful! Location was v good too, walking distance to central and shopping areas. Stones throw away from metro and tram. Rooms were sufficiently spacious.Will recommend!

The location is not that far from train and bus station, so you can walk about 17 minutes, if you don't have too big luggage. Otherwise, there are seversl tram lines that can take you there in just a two stops, while the stop is just in-front of the hotel. We only stay overnight, having a small breakfast box from the reception at 5 AM. The third bad was not ready, but the reception boy came in 10 mimutes and prepared it for us. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, but it was not for free, as usually in Norwegian hotels. Thrre was no coffee in the room, as well.
