This hotel was perfect for attending Chen Chusheng's concert. It's just one subway stop from University Town, so getting back to the hotel quickly after the show was a breeze. A big shout-out to Guangzhou's excellent management; the order was fantastic! The hotel's location deserves full marks – it's right by subway exit A, super close! 😁 The higher floor offered great views, and the room was spacious. The breakfast had delicious bread and waffles 🧇, tasty freshly made rice noodles, and plenty of fruit. We enjoyed the views while we ate. Both the floor staff and the ground floor attendants were very friendly. If you have time, you can also walk along the greenway on the island. The only downside is the price, around 500 a night, but overall, it was a good experience.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the subway and shopping mall and easy to find. Friendly people at the reception desk. There were some drinks and items to eat at the reception area. Had a room with a large bathroom with a nice bed. The room was located at the backside of the building, not much of a view (parking lot) but quiet. Did not book breakfast, can't comment on that. I had a pleasant stay, no complaints, would choose this hotel again and can recommend it to others. A thank you to the staff.

I booked a standard room and checked in at a room on the 8th floor, but the bathroom had a water leak, so a delivery robot brought a new room card. I was upgraded to a family room with one large and one twin bed, which was spacious and came with a Kung Fu tea set. However, the door was a bit warped from age, making it difficult to engage the safety lock; I had to lift the door frame firmly to align it with the latch. The mattress was on the firmer side, and there was practically no strange odor in the room. As someone with poor sleep quality, I felt I slept okay. I checked out at 12:00 PM, but didn't realize I left a charger behind until 3:30 PM. Since I was in a rush, I contacted the hotel via WeChat and told them to keep it for someone who might need it. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I would consider staying here again on my next business trip.

It's super close and convenient from Guangzhou Railway Station—no hassle at all, even with luggage. Coming back late at night, the street food stalls were still open. It's true what they say: no comparison, no harm. My family always used to book Hilton for me, but this time they told me to try something new, so I only booked one core hotel, and it turned out to be a Wyndham. Hilton's quality is consistently good; the Hilton in this area even has more spacious rooms than others, and the service is quite good. However, Wyndham's quality really varies. The Wyndham I stayed at in Qingyuan, Lianzhu, was excellent, but the one in Panyu felt pretty average. Next time, I'll stick with Hilton. It offers great value for money, and while it might not be a high-star hotel, the quality is definitely up to a certain standard, and the breakfast is also quite standard.

My kids had a blast, but I was genuinely unhappy with several things. First off, my check-in experience was far from satisfactory. We arrived around 1 PM to check in, and I was told that our room wasn't ready due to cleaning and that we'd have to wait until 2:30 PM. They suggested taking my child to Uncle Martin's Farm in the meantime. I understood this to an extent; many star hotels have guests checking out late, around 1 PM or 2 PM, so it's plausible that the room assigned to me had just been vacated and hadn't been cleaned yet. We went to Uncle Martin's Farm, which was surprisingly tiny. After what felt like ages, we returned to the lobby around 2 PM, only to be told the room still wasn't ready. I was starting to get annoyed, but with a child, I didn't want to create a negative atmosphere, so I took them to the lobby bar for a coffee and a Haagen-Dazs. We waited until 3 PM, then went back to the lobby. The staff (I'm not sure if it was the lobby manager) again told us the room wasn't ready. That's when I lost my temper. I asked when exactly we could check in, requesting at least an estimated time. The manager then told me to go sit in the lobby bar, which only made me angrier because we had just done that and come back! (And at other Marriott hotels, several times the lobby manager would treat my child and me to ice cream and soft drinks, but this time I had to pay myself.) I kept asking for a specific time. Finally, they told me 4 PM at the latest. Fine, I thought, no choice but to take my child to the pool for a swim. Then, at 3:40 PM, they called to say the room was ready. This was my first complaint. I've stayed at Marriott hotels before, but this is the first time I've had to wait almost until 4 PM to check in. My second complaint concerns the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant on the second floor. First, the restaurant isn't very large, and the buffet selection isn't extensive. I can understand that. What I cannot understand is why, during peak breakfast hours, with people queuing all the way around the restaurant, certain sections remained closed. When do they plan to open those areas? Surely the hotel has a budget for its guest flow and restaurant capacity, right? They must have internal guidelines for how many rooms are sold, how many breakfasts are included, and how much space needs to be opened. But what I witnessed was simply subpar. Finally, my lowest rating is for hygiene, again at Fisherman's Wharf. Not only did I have breakfast there, but I also paid extra for the buffet dinner with my child. I found the lamb chops and steak quite delicious, but something truly disgusting happened! My child picked up a few slices of pizza, and then suddenly pointed out a hair to me on one of them. I immediately told my child to throw it away and wash their hands (I was so disgusted at the moment that my first thought wasn't to take a picture). Afterwards, I even tried to find the hair on the floor to confront the restaurant manager, but I couldn't find it, and I didn't want to seem like I was looking for trouble. However, I am extremely dissatisfied with this level of hygiene!

During the National Day holiday, it was crowded, so there was a bit of a wait for the shuttle bus. Our butler, Vivi, was incredibly attentive and helped us promptly with anything we needed. The whole family had a wonderful time! 👍 Additionally, both the dinner and breakfast buffets were extensive, and ordering room service was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay, the spa was also very relaxing, and there was even a reptile exhibit for educational fun. It was a perfect trip, and we'll definitely be back~

Both the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The shampoo and conditioner are quite nice, and the hairdryer is surprisingly good—it has a pleasant airflow. Bathrobes are provided in the room, which you can wear directly to the hot springs area since it's just a short walk away. The buffet breakfast is delicious with a huge variety! In addition to Western options, they serve Cantonese dim sum like siu mai, phoenix claws, and pan-fried dumplings, plus eggs fried to order, freshly steamed rice rolls (changfen), and made-to-order noodles. Best of all, the service is fantastic; the staff promptly replenish the food, so you never have to worry about empty trays or a lack of hot dishes if you arrive late. They proactively pour tea as soon as you sit down, and if they notice you using your phone, they'll even bring you a phone stand. The surroundings are lovely too, featuring a greenway along the river and a country park nearby for hiking. The hot springs are also amazing! Since access is unlimited, we went once on the day of check-in and again on the day of check-out, trying out all the soaking pools, massage pools, steam rooms, and more. It’s incredible value for money! The staff at the hot springs also provide top-notch service. Besides actively serving tea and water, everyone was exceptionally polite and attentive—we didn't encounter a single staff member slacking off or giving a cold attitude, which is truly rare. The changing and shower facilities at the hot springs are also very well-designed: the shower area is spacious, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and each locker room provides clean slippers, hangers, and ample storage space, along with a row of vanities for drying hair or applying makeup. I recommend showering directly in the hot spring area, throwing on your bathrobe to grab some snacks in the lounge, and then heading back to your room.

The hotel is indeed excellent, and the price is quite steep. An extra bed brings a room to 3400, while a villa recently cost over 7000 a night. The radon hot springs are truly rare. After soaking for three days, I can confidently say the quality and experience of these springs are top-notch. I haven't encountered anything better domestically; it has a real 'secret onsen' feel. Overall, the service is very good. Given the price, there are a few areas that could be improved: 1. I couldn't figure out where the check-in lobby was. Either the concierge staff weren't present, or the signs were unclear. 2. The bathroom in the room isn't smart. The light switches for the inner and outer rooms are linked; they should be separate and independent, not sharing a single master switch. The room feels a bit dated and could use a refresh. 3. The duvet was a bit heavy and uncomfortable to sleep with. 4. At breakfast, the egg station couldn't make egg white rolls. For a hotel at this price point, they should at least learn how to make them. 5. There's an unnecessary and obstructive barrier on the road to the North Gate. 6. As a hotel guest, I couldn't even try out the driving range.

I'd previously stayed at the Jiahua Hotel in Jin Hai Wan, but this was my first time at the Baishui Village location. We went during the Qingming Festival, and even though it rained, the mountain views with the mist were absolutely beautiful. The hotel's overall decor is lovely, and the hot springs are of high quality, with the water being changed and cleaned daily. A tip for breakfast: go early, ideally before 8 AM, otherwise it gets very crowded. My family booked a family room and a mountain view room. We were assisted by Xiao Wu (Wu Mingxi), who was incredibly patient and responsible. Not only did he process our check-in quickly, but he also upgraded one of our rooms (to be closer to the family room). He also provided detailed and patient answers to all our questions about luggage assistance, pet travel, and restaurant information. And the best part is that we brought our dog! Jiahua allows pets in all room types for just a small cleaning fee – that's a huge plus in my book! We'll definitely be back when the kids are a bit older!

We stayed in a 'Listening to the Stream' room, and the private hot spring on the terrace offered great privacy. Soaking in the hot spring at night while gazing at the mountain scenery was incredibly therapeutic. The Yadong River is right outside, perfect for a stroll or river trekking. This stay at the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, a long-standing platinum five-star hotel in China, truly exceeded expectations. It's been 40 years since its opening, and its enduring charm is evident. Two days before my arrival, a butler contacted me via phone and WeChat, even proactively booking a table for me at the Lingxuan Pavilion buffet on my check-in day. This proactive service was incredibly thoughtful. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive before checking in. Given its long history, I was concerned about outdated facilities and had braced myself for it. However, the reality was far beyond my expectations. The hotel's maintenance is impeccable; both the lobby and the guest rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, with no hint of wear or age. The front desk staff was exceptionally attentive, confirming my preferred view, orientation, and floor. They also kindly warned me about ongoing subway construction nearby and helped me choose a quieter room, ultimately upgrading my room – a truly delightful surprise. Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately awestruck by its grand and magnificent space. Two colossal murals adorn the walls: one depicting the Twelve Beauties of Jinling from 'Dream of the Red Chamber' in gilded marble, and the other showcasing Lingnan folk customs. Above, a massive 'Golden Dragon Playing with Pearls' caisson ceiling, crafted from tens of thousands of gold foils, creates a powerful visual impact and serves as the hotel's most iconic Lingnan artistic symbol. The hotel also boasts a 21,000 square meter private garden, featuring dual waterfalls, a red bridge over flowing water, a koi pond, and traditional pavilions – a quintessential Lingnan garden. Walking in, the temperature felt noticeably cooler, and sitting quietly for a while was incredibly serene. The Waterfall Restaurant, nestled by the garden, offers stunning water views from its floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a perfect ambiance for an evening drink or afternoon tea. The renovated guest rooms feature a classical Lingnan Chinese style, with exquisite details. As it was Mid-Autumn Festival during my stay, the room thoughtfully included mooncakes. The hotel also offers free historical guided tours, where a guide takes you through the hotel's historical corners, recounting its stories. The guide was very friendly and even provided individual recaps for guests who arrived late – a huge plus. Lingnan artistic elements are abundant throughout the hotel, making it a joy to explore. I noticed many international guests, indicating its high global recognition. Dining had both highs and lows. Lingxuan Pavilion boasts a stunning environment and a high-class interior. The food selection is extensive, and the chef's selected à la carte dishes were of outstanding quality. My only minor disappointment was an incorrect gender on the personalized card; it was also mistaken during a previous phone call, and I was surprised it was still incorrect on the card. However, this is a small detail that doesn't detract from the overall experience. The Liwan Pavilion has a charming Xiguan-style ambiance, but the food quality was average and prices were a bit high. As for the hotel's dining, you absolutely must try the handmade dim sum at the restaurant on the fourth floor. It's authentic Cantonese flavor, freshly made by hand, and tastes great. Sitting there with friends, slowly sipping tea and chatting, creates a wonderful atmosphere. The buffet at the Western restaurant on the second floor also exceeded expectations – a rich variety of dishes, fresh ingredients, and excellent taste. Everything from dining to accommodation can be conveniently arranged at the hotel. I would choose this place again whether for a business trip or a vacation. Came to this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. The front desk service was quite efficient, didn't have to wait long, and they even upgraded us to a Guangzhou Tower view room for free! I borrowed a power bank from the lobby, and when it was full, I couldn't return it myself. The front desk even arranged for someone nearby to return it for me, so thoughtful! The hotel location was great just next to Beijing Lu station and next to TeeMall. Within walking distance to Beijing Pedestrian Road. That is what I like, near the shopping area but live in it due to the huge crowd. Value for money and I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
