Jianguo Hotel, Guangzhou

Facilities: This five-star hotel still has good bones; it has everything you'd expect, apart from being a bit dated. Environment: It's within walking distance of the East Station, which is very convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby. Service: The service was good. I was lucky to get a room as soon as I arrived, which I appreciate. Cleanliness: There were a few neglected spots, similar to the issues I encountered last time. I hope they can improve this.

I chose this hotel because I needed to go to the East Station the next day. It was better than I expected; the room was quite spacious, and the breakfast was good too. I'd definitely consider staying here again if needed.

Every time I visit Guangzhou, I stay at Jianguo Hotel. It's the best value for money hotel I've found in the city. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation access, and the front desk service is top-notch. My room always has great natural light, and the follow-up service from the staff is impeccable. Highly recommended!
