Here’s a more polished and balanced version of your Trip.com review: We stayed at Casa De Mar in a Deluxe Villa. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, but I don’t think the villa is worth the extra cost. The standard rooms should be more than enough for most guests. The breakfast is decent, but don’t expect a huge variety. One issue is that there doesn’t seem to be proper refrigeration for items like butter, yogurt, juices, and water. If you arrive after 8:00 AM, some items—especially the butter and cheese—can look melted, and the yogurt is very sweet and not served cold. On the positive side, there is a good selection of freshly cooked eggs and bread. The beach in front of the hotel isn’t ideal for swimming because it’s very shallow. However, the location is peaceful, and the hotel is still a good base for exploring Koh Samui. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I would recommend booking a standard room instead of paying extra for a villa.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and would definitely recommend it! The rooms are lovely, clean, and stylishly decorated with a Muay Thai theme. The pool and outdoor areas, as well as the quiet, clean beach, are well-maintained and very relaxing. The breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious. The consistently friendly and helpful staff truly stood out. We also loved that we could book free courses (body stretching, Muay Thai, cooking class, etc.). The spa area is also highly recommended. We rented a scooter through the hotel, and it all went smoothly. One minor point for improvement would be a better-equipped gym. While there is a training room with weights and two treadmills, which is also used for classes, it's not a fully equipped gym if that's something important to you. Overall, simply excellent!

I am delighted! Nice, cozy place. The staff is super polite, like in a luxury hotel. There is a swimming pool. The room was very comfortable, smelled nice. The only thing was that there was an unpleasant strange smell in the bathroom. And maybe the room could be painted a little. And I was a little upset that they changed the roofs, they are not like in the photo in the description, I really like this natural design. There is a refrigerator, umbrella, water, air conditioning. The beach is not far away. I was very pleased. I recommend!

We were extremely happy with our stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, clean, and very well-maintained. However, we would like to express our special gratitude to the entire team, as everyone paid great attention to us and treated us with exceptional kindness. We booked the most basic room, but we were absolutely delighted with it. The housekeeper did an amazing job every single day, keeping it incredibly clean and paying attention to every little detail—she even changed the towels regularly and neatly organized our cords and cables. We really enjoyed the breakfasts, which were great and served all-inclusive style, and we also had delicious lunches ordering from the menu. The only minor downside is that the location is quite close to the busy tourist beaches, but that really depends on what you are looking for.

A nice resort at its peak, but now quite run down and old. Had some issues with water in the shower and the walls and furniture show a lot of wear. Could not find a hairdryer either. However, it was cheap, the room was large, bed comfortable, pool is nice. Room had balcony. And you can walk across the street to Hyatt Regency and have food at their beach club, maybe even pool, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was good for my short stay purposes and close to the airport too.

We enjoyed this stay from start to finish. A true 5 star resort and one we would love to visit again They upgraded us from a wow room to one of the top suites, completely free. Which was a lovely way to start our stay. They have free shuttles to the local towns. They have a gym, spa, as well as other activities, (Speciality nights) such as unlimited pizza, thai night etc, free activites for guests to par take in, which is where the only gripe was found. Partner had gone to do a pool activity that she booked to do and the person running it appeared to get all the equipment out and ready but, when the time come, the activity never started or began with no explanation to why. She would've liked some communication to why it never happened in the end. However. Regardless of this, everything was perfect. The staff were amazing. The rooms were clean and lovely. The view was breathtaking. The pool was great. I would love to come again. Thank you for such a warming and memorable stay.

Considering Bolt and Grab, the location is perfect. The only downside is the third row of villas (the 3xx rooms) – they are close to the road, so if you are a light sleeper, it can be a bit noisy. Breakfast is super – an unlimited buffet from 6:30 to 10:30 AM with everything: vegetables, fruits, sweets, cereals, various smoothies, coffee, and little bacons :) A dedicated chef cooks eggs to order in cute little frying pans. Some hot dishes change daily – the vegetables in soy sauce with cashews are simply amazing. The rooms are clean; our floor creaked a little, but it wasn't a big deal. High ceilings, plus there was a jacuzzi, a separate round bathtub, and a separate shower. There's a gym and an infinity pool with a gorgeous view. Direct access to the beach right from the hotel! Moreover, it's off to the side; right in front of the hotel, there's no sandy beach and no crowds, everything is quiet. They help with luggage, excellent service. Good housekeeping. New towels. It's a pity they don't rent out snorkeling masks 😭 On the bright side, the rooms come with nice, comfortable umbrellas and a cool, spacious beach bag. Laundry, however, is expensive – charged per piece rather than by weight. For example, a T-shirt is 80 baht. We didn't use it. A couple of cute cats live on the property – they help the front desk staff. Nearby, there is a cool viewpoint and two of the most beautiful beaches – Coral Cove Beach and our favorite, Crystal Beach.

Really enjoyed my stay here! All areas including bathrooms and pool were incredibly clean, thanks to the amazing also friendly stuff who’s doing great job maintaining everything. Food at the hostel’s cafe was great, always fresh and delicious. The hostel does lots of activities for guests. Despite many young solo travellers partying there and it being close to the main road it was never loud. Location also good, you can walk out and find everything you need: cafes, pubs, shops, 7/11 and other convenience stores; Central mall is also like 13 minutes walk. But if you want a beach, you need to take a bike and head other direction, it’s shallow here, not for swimming (look the picture). I stayed 8-mixed bedroom, it was neat, chill, AC working good, had little balcony with hanger where you could dry your things. The hostel also had laundromat and water stations. 10/10!

The room, though small, is fully equipped, and the location is truly excellent, right behind Central Samui. Although when I checked in, the explanation made it sound like getting from the front desk to the room would be complicated, the actual layout is quite straightforward. I was assigned a room on the third floor of building three. Since the front desk is on the third floor of building one, I had to go down to the first floor, walk through buildings one and two, then take the elevator up to the third floor in building three. But the best part is that you don't need to go through the main front desk entrance every time you leave. For example, if you exit from the door in building three, take a quick detour through the parking lot, there's a staircase that leads directly up to the shopping mall. The whole trip probably only takes two or three minutes. The bathroom provides hand soap and something similar to shower gel. Other toiletries like toothpaste and toothbrushes need to be brought by yourself. However, for this price and location, it's still a great deal. The curtains in the room are manually operated, and the blackout capability seems average. Since they don't sit flush against the wall, those sensitive to light might find themselves waking up early due to brightness. The hotel's Wi-Fi requires a username and password to log in, so remember to ask the front desk when you check in. Near the front desk, there's a common area, similar to what you'd find in a hostel, with tables, chairs, and even a pool table.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It’s a bit smaller and more peaceful, with fewer people, which made the atmosphere really relaxing. I truly enjoyed being there every single day. All the staff were quite young and incredibly friendly, always making us feel welcome. The breakfast had a smaller selection, but everything you need was there and it was always fresh and enjoyable. The bed was honestly a 10/10 – so comfortable that it was hard to leave it. I was genuinely sad to leave this hotel and I would happily come back anytime in the future. I highly recommend staying here.

A perfect trip, the hotel was fantastic! It's in the best location on Koh Samui, I got to watch the sunrise over the ocean every day, absolutely breathtaking. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, very new, with stylish decor, multiple swimming pools, and beautiful gardens. Breakfast was abundant and varied daily. I especially recommend the hotel's Sunday Brunch; it's delicious, with great drinks and a live band. If you stay here, you absolutely MUST try their Spa; you'll feel like a new person afterward. We extended our stay at the hotel because we liked it so much! We booked a different room category and approached the reception the day before, showed them the new booking, and asked if we could switch rooms immediately, without waiting for the 3 PM check-in. I've already mentioned how lovely the staff are here! They arranged for us to check out and move into the new room simultaneously, and even upgraded our room category! In the morning after breakfast, they were already waiting for us and transferred us to the new room by buggy. A huge thank you! The 'Boat' room category is the closest to the sea. It's cozy, with a veranda and a sofa, and gets a nice breeze. In the evening, it's very comfortable and not hot; we sat outside late into the evening! I've described everything else already. Oh, and today, June 22nd, the beach restaurant reopened after renovations.

Vana Belle completely exceeded my expectations and has easily become one of those hotels I would happily return to again and again. What stood out most was the warmth of the entire team. Every member of staff I encountered was genuinely friendly, always smiling and incredibly helpful. The service felt thoughtful rather than formal, which made the whole stay feel very personal. A special thank you to my butler, Frang, whose care and attention made such a difference throughout my stay. He was always thoughtful, responsive and seemed to anticipate what I might need before I even had to ask. I would also love to mention Maya at the spa, who gave me some of the best treatments I had during the trip, and Glory at the restaurant, who was consistently warm and attentive. I also have to mention the bed and pillows — I rarely sleep very well when travelling, but I slept exceptionally well at Vana Belle. The room was extremely comfortable and genuinely restful. The beach was another highlight: very clean, peaceful and never felt overcrowded. It was exactly the kind of quiet setting I was hoping for in Koh Samui. I have always loved Marriott’s Luxury Collection hotels, but Vana Belle felt exceptional even by that standard. The combination of beautiful surroundings, genuine hospitality and highly personalised service made this stay feel very special. It is now one of those hotels I already know I will want to come back to.

Location: Perched on a steep hill, riding a scooter here requires some skill. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a license. There's absolutely nothing around, just a couple of **** shops across the street. The massage places along the way aren't great either; they don't even offer foot washing, unlike the more professional chain stores on the main commercial street, though prices are the same. Annoyingly, they wouldn't let us ride our own scooter into the middle of the property to get our luggage. You can call them to get a shuttle from the lobby to your room or vice versa, otherwise, it's a really long walk to the sea view rooms. Pool: The pool is quite shallow, maybe 1.2m at its deepest, I can't quite recall. It's only good for splashing around. The sea here doesn't have big waves, so you can just float and relax. Room: The shower seemed to be faulty, alternating between hot and cold – I nearly caught a cold. The AC, however, is incredibly powerful; great for those who get hot easily, it can get really chilly. The TV is good, with Netflix directly accessible without a subscription. Hygiene: The breakfast wasn't clean. I got diarrhea before even finishing it. There were worms in the cucumber, several white ones. I initially thought they were plant fibers, but then they started wiggling (see P9). I immediately had to run to the toilet. My friend, who didn't eat the cucumber, also got sick, for unknown reasons. I continued to have diarrhea for a few days after returning home. It might not be related to the hotel, but this hotel was my last stop in Thailand. Service: They offered a welcome drink, but it didn't taste good. There's a very small gym by the entrance. The staff generally had a good attitude. Summary: It's a relatively quiet place, suitable for just relaxing. Getting to the commercial street isn't easy; it takes 20 minutes by scooter, mainly due to the very steep ups and downs. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want to go to bars or clubs. Walking to shops is too far, and there's a constant smell of **** that made me feel nauseous.

The hotel is beautiful, cozy, and green. We stayed in room S07, which was close to the beach. It's a two-story building with four rooms, and we were on the second floor. We didn't hear anyone, and although the terrace was shared by two rooms, we never saw our neighbors, and the terrace itself was quite spacious. The room was simply fantastic, decorated in a Thai style with wood everywhere, including the floor. The bathroom had tiles. We booked a room with a bathtub and a shower with a door. I don't think I've ever seen a room cleaned so immaculately in my life. Please commend the staff member responsible. It was simply perfect. They didn't just clean; they beautifully arranged everything, including our glasses, towels, and bathrobes. Not a single grain of sand was to be found. My heartfelt thanks. The beds were good, and the linens and towels were white and new. The air conditioning was a bit noisy but very well-placed, not blowing directly onto the bed. For me personally, this is the most important factor when choosing a hotel. The breakfasts were delicious: coffee, tea (which you could brew in a kettle), pastries, eggs, soups, Thai dishes, and some European options. The croissants were fantastic. There was plenty of fruit, and some seafood dishes were also available. The beach is beautiful, but there are some rocks and seaweed to the right, so everyone tends to move to the left, which makes it feel a bit crowded there. It's important to note that there are clubs nearby with loud music playing almost all night, and planes fly overhead, with the first one acting as an alarm clock at 7 AM and the last one around 10 PM. They don't fly at night. There's a market, plenty of cafes, and a shopping center nearby. Overall, despite being in the very center and near clubs, the hotel managed to maintain a green and quiet environment, and it was perfectly clean. I recommend it.

Ideal for a budget, basic stay. Staff were friendly and the surrounding grounds were very well maintained, it was nice to spend time there. Location was great. Amenities were very basic, only provided with a fridge, basic toiletries and one glass of water each day. The running water was bad here, I think it was the same as the pool water which made our hair and skin bad. We booked the room with no aircon and we did really struggle with the heat and please be aware that planes fly directly overhead so it is very noisy. The planes start from 6am until 10pm at night.

I loved the location of the hotel, the happy hour, and the wide variety of breakfast options. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend the whole day relaxing, with beautiful swimming pools and plenty of activities to enjoy. There are a couple of areas that could be improved. One of the lifts was out of order during our stay, and the staff could have been a bit more attentive overall. A special shoutout to the male staff member who led the activities, including making fish from coconut leaves, boxing, and yoga. He was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and did an amazing job making the activities fun and engaging. He really made our stay more enjoyable. Overall we’ll come back again.

Where to start? Silavadee was truly our signature resort stay in Koh Samui, and we chose the Tropical Pool Villa for our two-night stay. My only regret is listening to my wife when she suggested experiencing another area of Koh Samui, which meant we had to move to another hotel after Silavadee. This is a perfect resort for couples, with some of the most spectacular villas we experienced during our Thailand honeymoon. Everything in the room has been carefully selected and thoughtfully placed, from the special slippers and tote bag to the beautiful kimonos and even the yoga mat. You can really feel the attention to detail throughout the property. The staff were courteous, warm and very attentive to all of our requests and inquiries. We genuinely felt welcomed throughout our stay, and the team deserves a lot of credit for that. There is, however, one area that I personally feel the Silavadee management team should address. During our Thailand honeymoon, we stayed at six different hotels, and unfortunately, Silavadee had the weakest breakfast in terms of overall variety. We also tried the burger and pizza by the pool, but both were quite bland and, in my opinion, did not reflect the quality of the resort itself. A property of this calibre deserves an equally impressive food experience. That said, I have to give a special mention to the noodle station at breakfast. It was fantastic. The young chef working there was creating genuinely magnificent noodle dishes, with very well-balanced use of condiments and flavours. It was easily one of the highlights of the breakfast for us. Despite the points mentioned above, Silavadee completely stole our hearts. It is a beautiful, intimate and romantic resort, and we were genuinely sad to leave after only two nights. We hope to return one day, hopefully during a period with better weather and in the high season, so we can experience Silavadee at its very best.

Hello! We are a couple who stayed at this hotel from late April to mid-May. This isn't our first villa, so we have something to compare it to. 1. The location is unusual, on a high elevation, which, by the way, not every car can reach – only four-wheel drives. At first, we thought we had made a mistake with our choice, but later, we never experienced any discomfort getting to the beach or anywhere else on the island. The villa offered a free shuttle every day between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, taking guests to their choice of beaches: Coral Beach or Silver Beach. If you stayed on the beach longer, the same car would pick you up for 100 baht. You could also take a ride to a bus stop and catch a tuk-tuk towards Chaweng or Lamai. 2. All the villas in the complex are arranged to ensure privacy for every guest. We never even heard our neighbors during our entire stay, even though the villas are located very close to each other! There was a magnificent garden with beautiful plants and small, man-made ponds with gurgling water right outside our room, on the way to the restaurant (we stayed in Orchid, and the rooms are named after flowers!). All the villas are surrounded by lush greenery and flowers. Opposite the reception, squirrels frolicked on a palm tree every day. And the sea views from every villa are simply stunning. 3. We booked a villa without breakfast, but we went to the restaurant for breakfast ourselves and didn't miss a single day. The set breakfast cost 390 baht per person. There were approximately 10-15 dishes to choose from, drinks, and of course, aromatic coffee. We ordered dinner to our room a few times – the order was delivered within 30 minutes. The staff was very polite and friendly. Shout out to the team! 4. I want to especially thank the ladies who cleaned the rooms. I knew they were there, but I never saw them. That's the height of professionalism, you're amazing. We wrote to reception when and at what time we needed the room cleaned. While we were at the beach, everything was already tidied up. You could also message the reception chat for extra water or fresh towels. We also requested laundry every three days and left the laundry basket by the door. Sometimes clean clothes were returned the same day, or the next! I must say the laundry service was also professionally done. 5. I'll share some things that might not be for everyone. Due to the abundant greenery, a concert of cicadas, croaking frogs, and squawking parrots began in the evenings :) We really enjoyed it and weren't bothered by it. A small lizard ran into the room from the terrace once but quickly ran back out. One time, we turned off the exhaust fan in the bathroom and 15 minutes later, found that flying ants, more than a thousand of them, had crawled in through the fan. We quickly dealt with them by washing them down the drain in the jacuzzi (I recommend the hotel look into this). Perhaps there's a frog living in or near the air conditioner outside the house that periodically reminded us of its presence in the evening and early morning! At first, it was strange, then we got used to it and considered it our alarm clock :)) 6. The hotel has a magnificent spa, which we visited several times. If you're tired and don't feel like leaving the hotel, you can hang out by the communal pool and then go for a massage. To summarize, this hotel is for those who want peace and quiet, and who don't mind getting around. It's for those who aren't bothered by ordering a car and being on the beach in 20 minutes. We loved our first visit to W Samui, but this second one meant a little more. Walking in and seeing so many familiar faces—from the front desk to the buggy drivers—was a lovely surprise. It says a lot about a place when the same people are still there, greeting you like you never left. The room was as beautiful and clean as we remembered, and the kids settled in right away. We booked half-board this time, and even after eight days, we genuinely looked forward to every meal. The variety was impressive, but more than that, the food just felt consistently good.  We visited the Japanese restaurant one night and my kids went up to ask for Chef Daniel’s autograph, that’s how much they enjoyed the food! We tried a few new things—cooking & a cocktail class with the family, a floating breakfast at the villa—and they added a nice layer to this trip. The fire show had a new female performer too, and we made a point to watch it twice.  Also a bbq dinner on the beach w live music!   For me, the gym was a welcome escape while the kids headed off to golf each day. But really, it was the little moments and the warm, unhurried service that made this stay feel special. Thank you to the whole team ~ we hope to be back before too long!!

Excellent Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui! We drove all the way from Bangkok, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The concierge team promptly assisted with our luggage and parked our car, making our arrival completely seamless. The lobby and check-in area are absolutely stunning, overlooking the beautiful Koh Samui coastline. It is one of the best places to enjoy a breathtaking sunset. We were assigned Room 503, which was very spacious and thoughtfully designed. The privacy compartment doors made it ideal for families, and the sofa bed was surprisingly large and comfortable—perfect for our 19-year-old son. Pros: - A beautiful private beach with complimentary kayaking. While it may not be the best beach for swimming, it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying water activities. - The buggy service was incredibly fast and efficient. Every driver was friendly, cheerful, and always ready to take us anywhere around the resort within minutes. - Outstanding hospitality and guest service. Every staff member made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Mr. Ruben for taking such great care of us throughout our stay. - The concierge team did an excellent job arranging our private long-tail boat tour. We had a wonderful day visiting Pig Island, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and enjoying the beauty of Koh Samui. Everything was organized perfectly. - The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. The bacon and pastries were among the best we've had, and a special thank you to Mr. Ping for serving us the sweetest, most delicious mangoes every morning. - Our housekeeping attendant, Mr. Renu from Myanmar, was exceptionally polite, friendly, and professional. He kept our room spotless every day, and his attention to detail made our stay even more comfortable. During check-out, I had a pleasant conversation with Bernice, the Director of Rooms from Malaysia. Our chat about Malaysian food brought back wonderful memories and was a lovely way to end our stay. Three nights simply were not enough at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui. This is the kind of resort where you should stay for at least one week to fully enjoy everything it has to offer. Unfortunately, I didn't even have enough time to experience the gym, which looked excellent. Only one small suggestion: the breakfast seating area can get a little warm during the morning. Of course, that's part of the tropical outdoor atmosphere—almost like a natural sauna—but a few more cooling fans would make the experience even more comfortable. Overall, we completely fell in love with The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui. The breathtaking scenery, luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and warm hospitality from every member of the team made this an unforgettable vacation. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a truly world-class stay in Koh Samui.

For everyone confused about the beach situation: there is a long bit of beach by the hotel. The hotel itseld doesn’t have beds on the beach itself, however, the beds are just above and around the pool area that overlooks the beach. If you wanna lay on the beach, in the morning there is high tide so you won’t be having much sand to lay on, still good for a swim. In the afternoon/evening there is low tide so you can put your towel down easily.

Another Amari disappointing stay. first was amari hua hin and 2nd is this hotel. stayed in amari koh samui for 4nights, we just got back from koh samui a few days ago. location wise sure cant deny that, it's by the beach front, 5 mins drive away from central koh samui mall and walking from the night life but so does other resorts around the area. when you get to the hotel specially after paying so much per night and to be classified as a 5 star hotel, you expect a good service, a 5 star service. Specially when the first point of contact to the customer service is the front staffs, however very disappointing. Most, if not all of the staffs doesnt seem to smile at all. We arrived early so we had lunch first and sure they managed to give us earlier check in at almost 2pm, their check in is at 3pm. we let it go perhaps we were just too tired and sensitive as we just arrived in koh samui and it was humid, however, throughout our stay their customer service was absolutely lacking. VERY LACKING. specially a few staffs driving the buggy service, we even had an accident one time when we were on our way back to the room, one of the driver drove so fast, THEY ALL DRIVE REALLY FAST, and he rammed onto one of the on coming buggy, i was holding my baby so tight. luckily nothing happened to us. same buggy driver who was had a grumpy look the entire stay and we saw him throwing luggages on to the buggy instead of handling them with care. so when you are taking a buggy, tell them to drive slow. the room, we booked a connecting room, which was a mistake. booking 2 rooms would have been cheaper but anyhow, the room was not clean at all, the bathtub was moldy the floors felt dirty and there were alot of mosquitos every single day. first day we arrived we killed 10 mosquitos in one room whats up with that. breakfast had good selections, they have 3 pools around the resorts as it is a big resort best one is the one over looking the beach, kid friendly pool. they have kids room, not that big just a small room.. anyway overall would i come back here in Amari Koh Samui, absolutely NOT. Would i recommend amari koh samui, absolutely NOT. if you want to stay in a beach front, there are alot of beach front resorts near amari and around the area check that out.. they did something nice from my baby;s birthday, decorated the mirror and gave cake so i appreciated that. with kids i would recommend hyatt koh samui, they are friendlier to kids and service is top notch. we moved there after amari THANK GOODNESS

after having had a disappointing stay in Amari Koh Samui, we were so glad to have moved to hyatt. we stay there for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. from the moment we arrived, the customer service was amazing. The front desk and the concierge were amazing. love the lobby, it's open space overlooking the sea. we arrived early so we had lunch first but they pretty quickly had our room ready and our luggages were already sent to the room even without me telling them. amazing! we upgraded from a partial sea view to a full sea view room and no regrets. my baby loved the room so much, running around and looking at the view. we loved the room instantly, very clean, spacious, and great view. Kids friendly, i love how they have couple of selections for kids menu and not just fried stuffs and pasta. the staffs are all friendly with the kids as well they totally engage with the children. Their kids club is big and they have activities everyday and the whole day. They do have kids pool side as well with slide and a small outdoor play ground area. it has a grassy area where you can play and run around with your kids. the only downside for us, not much options for breakfast and not really a beachfront where you can swim freely nor can you have a long seaside walk. cant build sandcastle as well. my baby loves to play with sand. when you read about hyatt beach being rocky and not sandy white, they do mean there are huge rocks on both sides. see my photo for better understanding. they do have live ban and firework show in the evening at Sesun restaurant. overall it didnt matter to us, we went to relax, stayed in the resort and relaxed and that's what we got and felt relaxed the entire stay. HIGHLY recommend staying here and when we head back down to koh samui we will surely stay in Hyatt again.

Breakfasts are decent with a wide buffet selection. You can also have lunch and dinner at the restaurant; prices are above average, but the food is tasty. The staff are smiling and attentive. There's a good gym with a great view of the pool. The pool water is very warm, so it doesn't offer much of a cool-down. There are enough sun loungers for everyone, and plenty of tables at breakfast. The location is convenient, right next to Big C and a 5-minute walk from 7-Eleven. It's also a 10-minute walk to the Fisherman's Village, which has a wide variety of restaurants and bars.

Which was a lovely way to start our stay. They have free shuttles to the local towns. They have a gym, spa, as well as other activities, (Speciality nights) such as unlimited pizza, thai night etc, free activites for guests to par take in, which is where the only gripe was found. Partner had gone to do a pool activity that she booked to do and the person running it appeared to get all the equipment out and ready but, when the time come, the activity never started or began with no explanation to why. She would've liked some communication to why it never happened in the end. However. Regardless of this, everything was perfect. The staff were amazing. The rooms were clean and lovely. The view was breathtaking. The pool was great. I would love to come again. Thank you for such a warming and memorable stay.

Here’s a more polished and balanced version of your Trip.com review: We stayed at Casa De Mar in a Deluxe Villa. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, but I don’t think the villa is worth the extra cost. The standard rooms should be more than enough for most guests. The breakfast is decent, but don’t expect a huge variety. One issue is that there doesn’t seem to be proper refrigeration for items like butter, yogurt, juices, and water. If you arrive after 8:00 AM, some items—especially the butter and cheese—can look melted, and the yogurt is very sweet and not served cold. On the positive side, there is a good selection of freshly cooked eggs and bread. The beach in front of the hotel isn’t ideal for swimming because it’s very shallow. However, the location is peaceful, and the hotel is still a good base for exploring Koh Samui. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I would recommend booking a standard room instead of paying extra for a villa.

I loved the location of the hotel, the happy hour, and the wide variety of breakfast options. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend the whole day relaxing, with beautiful swimming pools and plenty of activities to enjoy. There are a couple of areas that could be improved. One of the lifts was out of order during our stay, and the staff could have been a bit more attentive overall. A special shoutout to the male staff member who led the activities, including making fish from coconut leaves, boxing, and yoga. He was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and did an amazing job making the activities fun and engaging. He really made our stay more enjoyable. Overall we’ll come back again.

This isn't our first time in Koh Samui, and this year we chose this hotel and definitely didn't regret it! The location is excellent, the room is very spacious, and it's cleaned daily. The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The only small downside is no kettle, but we bought one at a nearby store for 150 baht. We extended our stay there for a few more days because we liked it so much! 🙏🙏🙏

The room, though small, is fully equipped, and the location is truly excellent, right behind Central Samui. Although when I checked in, the explanation made it sound like getting from the front desk to the room would be complicated, the actual layout is quite straightforward. I was assigned a room on the third floor of building three. Since the front desk is on the third floor of building one, I had to go down to the first floor, walk through buildings one and two, then take the elevator up to the third floor in building three. But the best part is that you don't need to go through the main front desk entrance every time you leave. For example, if you exit from the door in building three, take a quick detour through the parking lot, there's a staircase that leads directly up to the shopping mall. The whole trip probably only takes two or three minutes. The bathroom provides hand soap and something similar to shower gel. Other toiletries like toothpaste and toothbrushes need to be brought by yourself. However, for this price and location, it's still a great deal. The curtains in the room are manually operated, and the blackout capability seems average. Since they don't sit flush against the wall, those sensitive to light might find themselves waking up early due to brightness. The hotel's Wi-Fi requires a username and password to log in, so remember to ask the front desk when you check in. Near the front desk, there's a common area, similar to what you'd find in a hostel, with tables, chairs, and even a pool table.

The proximity to the beach is a big plus. The restaurant with live music is really great. Having an adult pool is truly appreciated, and the staff does their best to ensure it's respected. The reception staff are genuinely charming, as is the cleaning service. Impeccable responsiveness when there are repairs needed in the room. The hotel's location is not far from Fisherman's by foot.

Considering Bolt and Grab, the location is perfect. The only downside is the third row of villas (the 3xx rooms) – they are close to the road, so if you are a light sleeper, it can be a bit noisy. Breakfast is super – an unlimited buffet from 6:30 to 10:30 AM with everything: vegetables, fruits, sweets, cereals, various smoothies, coffee, and little bacons :) A dedicated chef cooks eggs to order in cute little frying pans. Some hot dishes change daily – the vegetables in soy sauce with cashews are simply amazing. The rooms are clean; our floor creaked a little, but it wasn't a big deal. High ceilings, plus there was a jacuzzi, a separate round bathtub, and a separate shower. There's a gym and an infinity pool with a gorgeous view. Direct access to the beach right from the hotel! Moreover, it's off to the side; right in front of the hotel, there's no sandy beach and no crowds, everything is quiet. They help with luggage, excellent service. Good housekeeping. New towels. It's a pity they don't rent out snorkeling masks 😭 On the bright side, the rooms come with nice, comfortable umbrellas and a cool, spacious beach bag. Laundry, however, is expensive – charged per piece rather than by weight. For example, a T-shirt is 80 baht. We didn't use it. A couple of cute cats live on the property – they help the front desk staff. Nearby, there is a cool viewpoint and two of the most beautiful beaches – Coral Cove Beach and our favorite, Crystal Beach.
