I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and received excellent service. All the staff were lovely, polite, and humble. The accommodation itself was a Superior Room with a soft, comfortable bed. The exterior was even more stunning; the sea on this side is beautiful, especially at low tide when you can see a pristine white sandbar stretching as far as the eye can see, surrounded by mountains, and you can watch the sunset from there. Plus, the breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options!😋 As for the resort's location, it's very close if you're coming from the airport, about 10 minutes. However, it's a bit further if you're coming from the pier. There are restaurants nearby, so it doesn't feel isolated, but the hotel itself is located down an alley and requires a slight uphill walk. There's plenty of parking for motorbikes, and probably space for about 4-5 cars. The resort interior is very peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend it! 👍

Clean, beautiful, located in front of a wonderful little beach. I would definitely return to this hotel again. They provided me with a free upgrade to a sea breeze room, with beautiful views of the ocean and the pool. The staff could not have been more attentive, kind and hardworking. The classes provided at the hotel are fantastic; I participated in hand massage, stretching and 2 beginner Muay Thai classes, all of which were fascinating and fun. I’d recommend this hotel based on the staff and classes alone, but the rooms are also beautiful and well serviced. One thing to be aware of is you are next to a busy road, which can be noisy at night due to fast cars and scooters travelling down it, but no big issue.

I recently spent a weekend here, and overall, I would say it was a decent experience for what we paid. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts: Accommodations (3/5): The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but they felt a bit outdated. The furniture and decor could use some updating, and the beds were not the most comfortable. However, the room had all the basic amenities, including a TV, mini-fridge, and a clean bathroom. It's not a luxury experience, but it was acceptable for a short stay. Service (4/5): The staff here were friendly and attentive. They were quick to address our needs and answer any questions we had. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and the concierge was helpful in arranging activities in the area. Amenities (3/5): The resort has a nice pool area, which we enjoyed. However, the pool could have been cleaner, and there were limited lounge chairs available, especially during peak hours. The on-site restaurant had a decent menu, but the food was a bit on the expensive side for what you got. It would be nice to have more dining options nearby. Location (3/5): It is located a bit further from the main attractions in the area, so you'll need a car to get around. This could be a downside for some, but it's also quieter and away from the crowds. If you're looking for a more secluded experience, it might be a plus. Value for Money (3/5): The pricing at this resort is reasonable, but you get what you pay for. It's not a luxury resort, so if you're looking for a budget-friendly option, it's a decent choice. In summary, this is a middle-of-the-road resort. It's not going to blow you away, but it's clean, the service is good, and it offers an affordable place to stay. If you're not too concerned with luxury and just need a place to sleep while exploring the area, it's worth considering.

We chose a family room with a bunk bed for the child, but for some reason, this type of room was 2.5 times more expensive than a standard one. It was difficult to adjust the air conditioning so it wouldn't blow directly onto the bed. They only provided a maximum of 4 bottles of 0.5L water per day, which wasn't enough for us, so we had to buy more. The cleaning was good, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The pool was also nice. Breakfast was a buffet for 250 baht, but the selection was small, although it's a good option if you eat a lot. There are many cafes, a shop, and a very good beach nearby.

A nice resort at its peak, but now quite run down and old. Had some issues with water in the shower and the walls and furniture show a lot of wear. Could not find a hairdryer either. However, it was cheap, the room was large, bed comfortable, pool is nice. Room had balcony. And you can walk across the street to Hyatt Regency and have food at their beach club, maybe even pool, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was good for my short stay purposes and close to the airport too.

Excellent vacation at a great hotel. The sand on the beach is fine, like powder. The attentive hotel staff set up sun loungers, and there are enough for everyone. It's only 30 meters from the room to the beach. We didn't even bother with slippers. Each bungalow has its own foot wash tap. Breakfast is served by the sea. The menu varies (but it's not a buffet). There's a central store a 5-minute walk away, and a nightclub nearby.

Loved my stay here, probably one of my favourite hotels in Thailand so far. The hotel is so beautiful, and surprisingly quiet given how close it is to the beach and main strip in Lamai. The on-site services were convenient and affordable. I didn't eat in the restaurant but there are so many restaurants nearby to choose from. The staff were super friendly and approachable. The pools are lovely, and the on-site gym has a good selection of equipment (for a hotel gym).

The rooms are very beautiful and clean, everything is perfect, and the private terrace with a bathtub and shower is simply superb! They gave us complimentary capsule coffee and a selection of interesting teas. Everything seemed fresh and new. Daily cleaning. The grounds are very beautiful, with fish swimming around. We were delighted! The sun loungers and pool are superb, the sand is yellow and very coarse. The sea became a bit cloudy after lunch, with seaweed washing up, and it immediately became deep. The beach is generally calm and quiet, with few people; this part of Koh Samui is apparently quieter than other beaches. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and you can walk to the market and shops. Renting a bike is ideal; there's a rental shop right next to the hotel. If you want to explore the neighboring beaches, take a taxi, which is expensive. Breakfast is simple, but everything is delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone tries their best. There's a spa on site, but we haven't been there, so I can't comment on that. The restaurant is a bit pricey, and I can't comment on the food, but overall it's fine. We would be happy to return to the hotel, it’s a great place if you want to relax in peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle.

What a pleasant surprise! This was the cheapest hotel we stayed at during our Chinese New Year trip to Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. While it's not a Banyan Tree, the hotel's service, rooms, and food were all excellent. We had all our meals at the hotel, and even though it's halfway up a mountain, there's absolutely no need to bring your own food. The hotel restaurant serves delicious and affordable dishes; we paid less than 100 RMB per person. I highly recommend the Pad Thai – it's fantastic! Breakfast is à la carte, with tea, coffee, and eggs prepared in various ways. There are also poolside activities with an instructor leading aerobics. You can just lie on a beach chair and gaze at the sea, and our room balcony also faced the ocean. The spa was very reasonably priced. The room was huge; the tatami area in the living room could easily sleep three more people, haha. Besides needing a taxi to go anywhere, everything else was perfect. It's a great option if you're staying in Koh Samui for a longer period and want to pair it with a high-end hotel, or if it's your first time in Koh Samui and you plan on taking island excursions. During Chinese New Year, it felt like it was mostly foreigners, with very few Chinese guests. The front desk staff and servers were all very nice, always ready to pick us up with a buggy or help with luggage. We were even greeted with towels and tea upon arrival – the service was absolutely superb!

The hotel is quite far from any amenities, but it's very close to the road. Extremely close, in fact. If you're hoping for a peaceful night's sleep, never book a room facing the road. Otherwise, you'll be jolted awake by every sportbike or 'disco on wheels' all night long. That said, the hotel itself is nice. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is excellent! There's a pool, a mini-gym, a restaurant, and well-maintained grounds. The staff are good, no complaints there. Nearby, on the beach, there's a pleasant restaurant that's a bit cheaper and even more interesting. To swim in the sea, you'll need to walk about 300-500 meters. The breakfast isn't amazing, but you won't go hungry. There's a viewpoint nearby with views over all of Chaweng, but you have to walk along the highway to get there.

I have stayed at Lub d several times and recently spent a full week here. Overall, my stay was smooth and enjoyable, as always, and I truly appreciate the social atmosphere and the location. However, this time I was disappointed with the late check-out experience. On a previous stay, I was kindly allowed a late check-out until 3 pm at no extra cost. This time, I was told there is a strict policy and was charged 500 baht per hour, which added up quickly. I understand that policies can change and that complimentary options are not guaranteed. Still, as a returning guest, I expected a bit more flexibility or at least a more considerate approach. Because of this experience, I have to lower my rating.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It’s a bit smaller and more peaceful, with fewer people, which made the atmosphere really relaxing. I truly enjoyed being there every single day. All the staff were quite young and incredibly friendly, always making us feel welcome. The breakfast had a smaller selection, but everything you need was there and it was always fresh and enjoyable. The bed was honestly a 10/10 – so comfortable that it was hard to leave it. Ko Samui Hotel Review 🌴 Not great value for money at over 2,000 per night My immediate impression: the overall value for money just isn't there 💸. At over 2,000 baht a night, I think it's mediocre, even though Ko Samui's weather is incredibly comfortable and the climate is very livable. I feel the hotel's pricing is inflated, and I'm not sure why it's always fully booked. First, some objective points: I haven't compared it to other hotels in Ko Samui, so I'm not sure if the general prices are high across the board. Looking at this hotel specifically, it's not brand new; it's moderately aged but well-maintained, which is acceptable. 📍 Location & Environment The location and surrounding environment are flawless. It's quiet and peaceful overall. The private beach has very few people, so you don't have to deal with crowds. If you get up early, you can catch a stunning sunrise over the sea 🌅. After 4 or 5 PM, the temperature drops, and the sea breeze is cool, making it super comfortable for a walk and unwinding. 🏨 Room Accommodation Experience The room is about 40 square meters, so it's not particularly spacious. The biggest drawback is the bathroom's lack of a separate wet and dry area ❌. The bathroom's cleanliness is average, and the shower area isn't very well-maintained. Every time I showered, the entire room would get damp, and there was no dehumidifier. It felt muggy and humid, which really detracted from the experience. I stayed in a garden view room, not a genuine sea view, but the view was still decent, and I could see the sea in the distance. 🍽️ Breakfast & Service The breakfast selection is incredibly rich, with many options. The hotel staff are also very friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. ⚠️ But be sure to go early for breakfast; if you go later, it gets very crowded, and the experience directly declines. 🏊 Pool Facilities There are two pools in the complex, very well laid out~ One large pool, perfect for photos and swimming; One small adults-only pool, quiet and suitable for relaxation. 🎁 Hidden Bonus Highlight Complimentary drinks in the room 🥂. The entire minibar is free to use. There's also a daily 'little surprise,' which was the biggest highlight overall. Overall Summary The resort environment and beach atmosphere are fantastic, perfect for lounging and relaxing. However, for over 2,000 baht a night, with a small room, no wet/dry separation, and humidity, plus facilities that aren't brand new – while not bad overall – the value for money is indeed low. I'm not sure if this is the standard price point for hotels in Ko Samui~

Melia was nice and cozy with an excellent selection of breakfast. The sunbeds are spread across the lagoon pool and nearly always available. The happy hour at the pool bar is also generous. The rooms however do feel a bit small and outdated compared to standard rooms in southeast Asian resort towns... the bathroom was also very small (bathtub is at the balcony so takes a bit of effort with the blind to use...) Our toilet sink also didn't drain well but we didn't complain but just lived with it.

The hotel is quite old, but it has beautiful grounds and lush, tropical plants. The breakfasts are decent, the pools are clean, and the staff is attentive. The squirrels near the restaurant are adorable! The sea and beach are simply stunning, and there were always enough sun loungers. The plumbing in the room was fine. Now for the downsides: The sun loungers and their mattresses are very old. The bed linen also looks quite worn. The room is a bit dark, and the air conditioning blows directly onto the beds, making it impossible to sleep with it on. The dishes in the restaurant are also dated, which was unpleasant. There's also not enough lighting in the evenings, even on the hotel grounds. On my last day, it rained, and I slipped and fell on the tiles; luckily, I didn't break anything. We stayed in room A06, which had direct pool access. However, even in these rooms, which are the furthest from the bar, you can still hear noise from the neighboring bar at night. If you're a light sleeper, this might be uncomfortable. The planes weren't really an issue; they don't fly by that often. I'd like to address parents separately: unsupervised children in the pool were behaving terribly – screaming, teasing, and swearing – all right outside our rooms. Their parents paid no attention, making it impossible to relax in our room or on the terrace. Overall, though, I recommend the hotel because of its location and proximity to the sea.

I highly recommend staying in a beachfront room or higher if you choose this hotel; other room types are not worth it (the square in the picture is beachfront, and even the 'beautiful sea view' room we stayed in for one night wasn't great). I also wouldn't recommend staying during the rainy season. The only time this hotel feels worth it is when you're in a beachfront room with an unobstructed sea view. The common areas are very limited, we didn't even check them out and don't know if there's a beach. The room facilities feel quite dated, the breakfast was very mediocre, and the service was just okay. However, on a sunny day, the beachfront rooms with their direct sea views and the rooftop sea view restaurant can make the stay worthwhile. The main meals at the restaurant were good.

However, just after one day, this has become my kids FAVOURITE hotel ever. It all the staff and service~. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful, everyone really went out of their way to assist with anything and everything! My son ended up crying the night before and on the day we checked out because he really didn’t want to leave and understandably so! Although some of furniture are a bit worn and dated, everything else compensated for this. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff always remembered our drink orders. Can’t miss the fire show at the bar, that was super fun to watch A shout out to Mak, who would always drive us to and from everywhere around the hotel with always the most upbeat attitude, biggest smile and playing the best jams in his buggy! I guess it’ll be nice if the hotel offered kids amenities such as slippers, toothbrush etc Other than that it was perfect. The furniture in the villa was obviously old, and the cupboards didn't open well. The location of the rooms is not convenient. If someone goes to the toilet, then you can only go from the nursery to the kitchen through the pool area. The lighting was quite dim, and there was no desk chair. The pool is clean, towels were changed every day and bottled water was provided. The breakfast is good. You could order a shuttle bus to the beach or the store for free. P.S. The bags that we left on the bedside table and planned to use for some reason, the cleaners made garbage bags. I believe that cleaners have the right to throw out only what is inside the trash can.

Review: A Beautiful, Design-Led Oasis in Fisherman’s Village We recently stayed at the Hansar Samui, and it is truly a beautiful property with a thoughtful design. The location is perfect—just a short, pleasant stroll away from Fisherman’s Village, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like you have a quiet retreat to return to. The Highlights Dining Experience: The breakfast was a standout. I particularly appreciated having eggs made fresh to order; there is nothing worse than pre-cooked, rubbery eggs left under heat lamps, so this was a huge bonus for me. The Vibe: The swimming pool is lovely, and the beach is kept very clean. The hotel maintains a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of background music. Service & Little Touches: The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I loved the ”turn-down” service around 5:00 PM, where housekeeping brought little chocolates and water—an adorable touch that made us feel looked after. Facilities: The gym is clean and well-maintained. Crucially for those working remotely, the Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable enough for me to take Zoom meetings without any issues. Room Design: The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning balconies and views. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the large rainfall shower. Room Comfort & Maintenance We did have a significant issue with the bed. The mattresses are very soft, which didn't suit us at all as my husband has a bad back. It made sleeping quite difficult. However, the staff were wonderful and tried their best to accommodate us; they helped remove the mattress so we could sleep on the wooden base with just the mattress topper. While not ”luxury” comfort, it was much better for his back than the soft mattress. We also had a few issues with a temperamental toilet flush, but to the hotel's credit, maintenance was very prompt in coming to fix it each time. Dining & Logistics We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, ordering the Massaman curry and Chicken Panang. While the food was edible, it was just ”okay”—we were perhaps expecting a bit more given how high the quality of breakfast was. That said, the view from the restaurant in the evening is spectacular, and they occasionally have lovely entertainment. One small hiccup occurred when we booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the pier for our trip to Koh Phangan. The driver unfortunately dropped us at the wrong port. We had to quickly catch a Grab to the correct one, but luckily we made it just in time for our ferry. Overall Despite a few minor glitches, this was a wonderful stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is gorgeous, and the professionalism of the staff ensures that any issues are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend Hansar for anyone looking for a stylish and relaxed stay in Samui!

Another Amari disappointing stay. first was amari hua hin and 2nd is this hotel. stayed in amari koh samui for 4nights, we just got back from koh samui a few days ago. location wise sure cant deny that, it's by the beach front, 5 mins drive away from central koh samui mall and walking from the night life but so does other resorts around the area. when you get to the hotel specially after paying so much per night and to be classified as a 5 star hotel, you expect a good service, a 5 star service. Specially when the first point of contact to the customer service is the front staffs, however very disappointing. Most, if not all of the staffs doesnt seem to smile at all. We arrived early so we had lunch first and sure they managed to give us earlier check in at almost 2pm, their check in is at 3pm. we let it go perhaps we were just too tired and sensitive as we just arrived in koh samui and it was humid, however, throughout our stay their customer service was absolutely lacking. VERY LACKING. specially a few staffs driving the buggy service, we even had an accident one time when we were on our way back to the room, one of the driver drove so fast, THEY ALL DRIVE REALLY FAST, and he rammed onto one of the on coming buggy, i was holding my baby so tight. luckily nothing happened to us. same buggy driver who was had a grumpy look the entire stay and we saw him throwing luggages on to the buggy instead of handling them with care. so when you are taking a buggy, tell them to drive slow. the room, we booked a connecting room, which was a mistake. booking 2 rooms would have been cheaper but anyhow, the room was not clean at all, the bathtub was moldy the floors felt dirty and there were alot of mosquitos every single day. first day we arrived we killed 10 mosquitos in one room whats up with that. breakfast had good selections, they have 3 pools around the resorts as it is a big resort best one is the one over looking the beach, kid friendly pool. they have kids room, not that big just a small room.. anyway overall would i come back here in Amari Koh Samui, absolutely NOT. Would i recommend amari koh samui, absolutely NOT. if you want to stay in a beach front, there are alot of beach front resorts near amari and around the area check that out.. they did something nice from my baby;s birthday, decorated the mirror and gave cake so i appreciated that. with kids i would recommend hyatt koh samui, they are friendlier to kids and service is top notch. we moved there after amari THANK GOODNESS

Our recent stay at the Royal Mueang Samui Resort was nothing short of spectacular, offering a perfect blend of serene opulence and vibrant tropical life. From the moment we arrived, the resort’s beautiful setting captivated us, nestled within a lovely, protected harbour that ensured calm, swimmable waters and a profound sense of tranquility. The property itself is a masterpiece of Thai design, with lush, manicured gardens leading to a deep, inviting pool area and a pristine, clean beach dotted with comfortable chaise lounges. It was the ideal spot to unwind with a book or simply listen to the gentle waves. Our room was a haven of quiet luxury, providing a peaceful retreat after days filled with sunshine. The facilities are top-tier, but what truly elevates the experience is the staff. Incredibly attentive and genuinely warm, they anticipated our needs with a smile, making us feel truly valued. The resort also masterfully balances relaxation with entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the fun weekly BBQ night on the beach, where a dazzling fire show lit up the palm-fringed sky, complemented by talented live singers who created a magical atmosphere. Dining was a consistent delight. The sumptuous breakfast buffet offered an astounding variety of international and local dishes, setting us up perfectly for the day. A highlight was arranging a romantic dinner on the beach—an unforgettable experience of exquisite food with sand between our toes. For a change of pace, a short stroll placed us amidst plenty of local shops and cafes, though the resort’s allure often made it hard to leave. The Royal Mueang Samui is a rare find—a peaceful, luxurious sanctuary that also knows how to have a little fun. We left feeling utterly pampered and are already dreaming of our return.

Ш We stayed with children and were happy with the experience. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, perfect for families with kids. The pool is large and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive. The kids’ animation program is solid — children were entertained and happy. The hotel is on the beachfront, and the sand is clean and non-sticky — a big plus for Samui. The food was disappointing: the menu is repetitive, dishes are bland, and baked goods and snacks lack freshness and crunch. Bar and in-hotel food prices are clearly overpriced and don’t match the quality. The parking lot is very small, and a significant portion of spaces are taken up by hotel service vehicles, which is inconvenient for guests. The gym is tiny, with limited and outdated equipment. Overall impressions are positive, especially for a family holiday. We’d love to see the hotel grow: improve the cuisine, reconsider its pricing, and invest in its infrastructure. The potential is there — it just needs to be used.

While waiting to check in, they gave us blessing ropes, showing the hotel's thoughtful touches. The staff were very service-oriented, especially one girl with a very kind smile. She often waved us off as we left and waited until we got into the car, which was incredibly heartwarming. The style and facilities of the hotel room were excellent. It had a courtyard-style balcony, and the bathroom was quite large with a good-sized soaking tub; it was generally very comfortable. However, all the rooms we booked were on the second floor, which was inconvenient for the elderly in our group due to daily stairs. Moreover, on our first day, the room below us was a pool access room, and they were noisy from the afternoon until past midnight. I called the front desk to complain at 9 PM, and they immediately sent staff to address it, but the noise started up again later. Closer to midnight, I messaged Trip.com to communicate the issue. The next day, a staff member found me during breakfast to apologize for the behavior of the guests downstairs and offered to change our room to a different type that day. I was very satisfied with the hotel's ability to resolve problems. If you need anything at the hotel, you can call the front desk at any time, including requesting a buggy to the restaurant and beach. The hotel property has many slopes, and it's quite hot, so walking isn't ideal. The beach is beautiful, and there are many free water activities. My child spent one day kayaking and another day paddleboarding. The hotel's breakfast was a semi-buffet, semi-à la carte style. The variety wasn't small, but the overall quality was average.

All in all, hotel is good. But for this price I recommend you to go to Maldives. Sea is not suitable for swimming, quite dirty and a lot of rocks. Service is quite bad in all restaurants except 2 person: B and, unfortunately, don’t remember a girl’s name who was serving us after check-out in the bar. Also, we were going to next FS property in check out date and wanted a late check-out. How normally it works in real 5* property: you check out around 10 and go to any free villa on island till late check-out (they had free villas that day). And here we needed to wait 2 hours in the bar. Of course, I won’t choose this place again as it’s not you are expected when you know how it normally works in real good property.

The little villa was very cosy and clean. Very quiet as well. The villas standing in a lovely park. Green with birds, well maintained. Breakfast was good, many choice. Pool nice with very soft beds, a plus. Several massages we took at the hotel very relaxing, can recommend. We booked one boattrip from the hotel snorkling tour. They had plenty of options. City with beach clubs and restaurants on walking distance just along the beach. Some small minus: check in took too long. And one day we did not swim in the sea due to the green color of the water. They told us this can happen sometimes for several days there as it is more in a bay not facing open sea. We stayed before on the south east side of koh samui, i would say nicer sea here with more waves and nicer wider beaches. But overall a very pleasant stay here!

✨ Unforgettable Stay at Nikki Beach Koh Samui! ✨ From the moment I arrived at Nikki Beach Koh Samui, I knew I was in for something special. The property itself is stunning – beautifully designed, right on the beach, with a perfect balance of relaxation and vibrant energy. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. A special thank you to Khun Care, Patcha, Nancy, Eve, and Bambi – each of them went above and beyond to make me feel not just like a guest, but like part of the Nikki Beach family. Their attention to detail, warm smiles, and genuine hospitality created such a welcoming atmosphere. Whether it was arranging small surprises, offering helpful recommendations, or simply checking in to make sure I was comfortable, they turned a great stay into an exceptional one. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and very well maintained, with all the little touches you’d expect from a luxury hotel. The pool and beach area are breathtaking – the perfect spot to relax during the day, then enjoy Nikki Beach’s world-famous energy in the evening. The food and cocktails were outstanding too, with a mix of international flavors and Thai favorites, always served with a smile. Nikki Beach Koh Samui is more than just a hotel – it’s an experience. Thanks to the amazing team, especially Khun Care, Patcha, Nancy, Eve, and Bambi, I can honestly say this was one of the best holidays I’ve ever had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Can’t wait to come back!

At first glance, the price seems like a great deal for a villa. However, after checking in, it became clear that the lower cost comes with compromises in detail. The soundproofing is a major issue—not just from the adjacent bathrooms, but from the entire space. Conversations and noises from the hallway are loud and clear, creating an overall lack of privacy and comfort. The staff are friendly, but their performance needs improvement. In particular, the front desk could communicate more effectively, as unclear information led to confusion. This place might suit budget-conscious travelers, but those seeking a quieter and more refined experience should consider other options.

From the moment I stepped onto the hotel grounds, I knew I'd chosen well – it had such a stylish atmosphere! On our first day, we had an issue with no hot water in the bath. After contacting the front desk, a maintenance staff member came immediately and fixed it. Breakfast at the oceanfront restaurant was absolutely delightful. Even comparing it to other hotels visible from the beach, this one was clearly the most stylish. It was a minor drawback that insects sometimes entered the room, but luckily, a plug-in mosquito repellent was provided, which was very helpful. I would certainly love to stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui is one of those places that stays with you. What really makes the difference is the people. The service is excellent, but more importantly, it feels sincere. The staff are genuinely kind, always smiling, always present, and somehow they manage to make everything feel easy and natural. You never feel rushed or overlooked, just quietly taken care of. Special thanks to ”mamy” the fruit lady at breakfast that is a pure expression of joy and the Yoga and Muay Thai instructor. The facilities are beautiful and very well maintained, but without feeling stiff or overdesigned. Everything works, everything feels comfortable, and there’s a calmness to the whole place that makes you slow down almost without noticing. Rooms, pools, spa, restaurants, all of it feels thoughtfully done. The setting is something special. Surrounded by greenery and right on a peaceful bay, it feels private, quiet, and deeply connected to nature. You hear the sea, the wind in the trees, and very little else. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax. Nothing here feels forced or flashy. It’s just consistently good, warm, and balanced. A place you leave feeling better than when you arrived. Can't wait to be back to this special place.

We stayed for two nights with our kids, and having just come from the Conrad, we naturally had some comparisons to make. 1. **Location:** The hotel's location is excellent, nestled in a private bay, which provides a fantastic environment and superb overall privacy. The bay is calm, perfect for swimming, and the water temperature is wonderfully warm. There are also many activities available, including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkeling. 2. **Rooms:** All the rooms are villas with private pools. After a day of swimming in the sea, you can enjoy a swim in your room's pool in the evening. Although the hotel has been open for a long time, there are no signs of aging; it's very well-maintained. The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a quadruple shower head setup that could accommodate three people at once, and the water pressure was excellent. 3. **Service:** You can call for a buggy anytime, and it usually arrives in about 5 minutes. Anna was our butler, and she was wonderful, providing personalized butler service. She could handle all our bookings and requests. 4. **Dining:** Breakfast was just average. However, we had dinner at the Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the food was delicious. You need to ask your butler to make a reservation for you at least a day in advance. Overall, we were very satisfied with Banyan Tree and would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The hotel's excellent location, essentially between two beaches, is ideal. The main drawback, in our opinion, is the lack of beach chairs and umbrellas on Chaweng Noi Beach from this hotel. Guests are forced to either walk to the main Chaweng Beach or wander around Chaweng Noi without an umbrella.

There were plenty of shops, cafes and a shopping center near the hotel which made it convenient. Taxis outside the door but need to negotiate the price.  Staff in reception were helpful. The room was large with complementary tea and coffee.  The only downside was the lift. You had to walk up one flight of stairs to get to the lift and then down half a flight to get to your room. Fortunately the reception staff helped us with our luggage.

accidentally booked my room for the wrong date, and unfortunately I couldn’t get a refund or change the booking. However, I really want to thank Trip.com customer service for trying their best to assist me , I truly appreciate their effort and support. They explained clearly that the hotel’s policy doesn’t allow changes or refunds unless processed through them, which I understand. That said, my experience at the hotel itself was quite disappointing. The front desk staff were not helpful during my stay. I also had an issue with the laundry service — I was told it would be ready by 6pm, but it wasn’t. I waited until the next morning and still didn’t receive it. After following up multiple times (about three times), I finally got my laundry. Overall, I’m grateful for Trip.com’s help, but the hotel service definitely needs improvement.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Chaweng! The location is super convenient – Central Festival, shops, cafes, restaurants, and the beach are all nearby. For the price, it's one of the best options on Samui. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. A big bonus is being able to use the secure parking at Central Festival, which is really handy if you're traveling by car or scooter. There's a good co-working space for getting work done, an on-site cafe, and a swimming pool. The vibe is modern and youthful. The only downside I can mention is the absence of a toothbrush and toothpaste in the room, which even more budget-friendly hotels usually provide. Otherwise, everything is great. Excellent value for money, quality, and location. I would gladly stay here again!

The hotel is clean, despite of its old-fashioned look. The room is comfortable (but outside noise comes in easily). The only downside is I gotthe room on building 3 and there's no lift in the building and my room was on the 4th fl. So I needed to carry my luggage up all the way by myself. If you would like to book and have big luggages, you may need to reconsider (or request for the lower floor.) I'm not sure whether there is a lift available in its other buildings.

Excellent hotel right on the beach. The furniture is a bit dated and there aren't many sun loungers, but everything else is great, and the staff are friendly. The room has a gorgeous view, and the grounds are beautiful. There are plenty of cafes nearby, it's a 20-minute walk to the night market, and there are laundromats and a 7/11 close by. The entry into the water from the beach is comfortable, and the beach itself is clean and uncrowded. Breakfasts are decent; not much variety, but there's enough to choose from (different types of eggs, fruit, toast – but no porridge, cheese, and the sausages are spicy). In the room, there's not much light (just one light in the hallway and bedside lamps), and there aren't many power outlets, none near the bed. Housekeeping is daily. They don't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste. The towels are a bit thin but not a big deal. The hotel is consistent with a 3-star rating.
