However, in the advert they offer a free breakfast which also indicated in the booking confirmation but upon arrival I was informed that breakfast is not included :( . Apparently, the issue is with the app and not wiht the hotel.

Right on the beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants, hotel lobby and rooms were clean but AC in rooms doesn't work very well and a few rooms have issues with doors locking guests out of their rooms due to shifting of the security latch. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were friendly, however one manager didn't seem to care if she offended the guests as she made comments about the house keeping ”not speaking English well enough” and making comments behind their backs.

My daughters favorite hotel on the beach - and the extra amenities for families allows me to work from the hotel if necessary - while my munchkin still has fun.. she loves the kids club even at 10 y/o and the private mini movie theater because she can go ”by herself” since I am only a few feet away. The indoor lazy river pool is a huge hit - and clean and maintained. The outdoor pool is BEACHFRONT..almost in the sand its so well located.The few times we have stayed there the staff was always above and beyond helpful. Downfalls - The A/C units could use an upgrade and the breakfast spot needs some decor upgrades but the food is REAL (not ”pretend scrambled eggs” ) and well prepared and service is good. I wouldn't consider it a ”Luxury” hotel and the seasonal prices are equal to the fancy competitors but I guess that depends on how you define luxury - my daughter would choose this hotel over the new Hilton without question.

The location of the hotel is excellent, parking is convenient, and the sea view is invincible. The living room and bedroom of the suite are separated for easy sea view and rest. You can sit in the living room and watch the sea, or you can go to the balcony to see the wider sea. It is worth mentioning that the balcony windows are very soundproof. Breakfast is also very good. I arrived an hour and a half before check in and my room wasn't ready yet. I was told I would have to come back. I was not given access to the parking garage so I had to pay to park my car to wait the hour and a half. When my room was ready I had to wait in the car line for 45 minutes just to check in because they were so backed up. When I checked in I was handed 2 room keys and nothing else. I assumed there would be a welcome packet in the room but there was nothing. When the other half of my party arrived they also had to wait in the car line for 45 minutes. The pools were dirty and had face masks floating in them. The first night the AC did not work and it was 80 degrees in the room. I approached the front desk at 9am one morning and requested housekeeping bring new towels and toilet paper to the room because we were out, I also asked if they could take the old towels and garbage which was neatly piled up in 1 location for removal. I was told you had to request this service 24 hours in advance but that they would bring new towels and toilet paper up. I returned at 6pm to find there was no towels or toilet paper in the room. When I called the front desk I was once again told that I had to request these items 24 hours in advance but that they would send someone up anyway. I had 4 people staying in the room and they brought 2 towels so had to make another trip to get me 2 more. When I checked out there was only 1 vallet working so I had to wait over an hour just to leave. There were 2 lines of cars stacked up and the poor kid was working his butt off but could only do so much. I was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service.

The Virginia Beach Marriott Hotel is a great choice for a seaside holiday! The location is really amazing, next to the beach, you can step on the sand in a few seconds, and fall asleep with the sound of the waves at night, which is simply a decompression artifact. The sanitation is particularly in place, from the lobby to the corners of the room are very clean, and there is no problem at all. The service is online as a whole, the check-in and check-out efficiency is very high, and the daily consultation can also be patiently answered. The dishes in the restaurant are worth boasting, the standard is medium to high, and the Asian food area is set intimately. It is too friendly for tourists who love Asian food and do not need to find Chinese restaurants everywhere. Very good value for money, recommended to all friends who come to the beach for vacation!

My family & I recently stayed at this property, and the service was awesome!! We would definitely book here again!! To speak on why we would...One of the elevators was out of order, which is beyond their control, so to make the unpleasant situation pleasant; guests were provided with snacks and soda in the lobby while we waited for the elevator ... in addition to this dilemma, the water lines had to be tested, and the hotel was without water pressure for a little while; with that being said, guest were informed arrangements had been made so that we could use the neighboring hotel .... all the staff was extremely nice and I especially appreciated the security of ID check before a room key was given ... because there wasn't a hot-tub, I will give this hotel a 9/10 ... Wonderful booking

Celebrating my birthday was a great experience. The room was oceanfront. The shower was incredible but the room was very small. There was minimal furniture so everything must stay in the luggage or on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and tv was large but there was nowhere to sit and only 1 nightstand. I suggest a mini fridge and 2 nightstands. Other then that I would recommend checking the Moxy out . Every employee seemed to enjoy working there and everyone was friendly and helpful

To speak on why we would...One of the elevators was out of order, which is beyond their control, so to make the unpleasant situation pleasant; guests were provided with snacks and soda in the lobby while we waited for the elevator ... in addition to this dilemma, the water lines had to be tested, and the hotel was without water pressure for a little while; with that being said, guest were informed arrangements had been made so that we could use the neighboring hotel .... all the staff was extremely nice and I especially appreciated the security of ID check before a room key was given ... because there wasn't a hot-tub, I will give this hotel a 9/10 ... Wonderful booking

Celebrating my birthday was a great experience. The room was oceanfront. The shower was incredible but the room was very small. There was minimal furniture so everything must stay in the luggage or on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and tv was large but there was nowhere to sit and only 1 nightstand. I suggest a mini fridge and 2 nightstands. Other then that I would recommend checking the Moxy out . Every employee seemed to enjoy working there and everyone was friendly and helpful

The suite is very large and can accommodate 6 people. The room has a terrace and a sea view. It is very close to the beach. The hotel restaurant is also very good, specializing in seafood. The transportation is very convenient. Parking is charged.

Everything was great would definitely stay here again probably our go to spot when we go to the beach. They could clean the balconies, the hallways and elevators a little bit more. Other than that our suite was amazing.
