If you are looking for the perfect base to explore the stunning landscapes of Ninh Binh, look no further than Lalita Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a hotel and more like a refined home away from home. Exceptional Service The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. We were greeted by Phuong at the reception, whose warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming demeanor set the tone for our entire stay. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering local tips and genuine smiles that made us feel truly valued. Exploring on Two Wheels One of the highlights of our trip was taking advantage of the hotel's bicycles. Pedaling through the city and out into the surrounding countryside is, in our opinion, the absolute best way to take in the sights. The bikes were well-maintained and allowed us the freedom to discover hidden pagodas and limestone karsts at our own pace.

Due to my schedule, I had to arrive late in the afternoon and check out the next morning, but it was a satisfying place to enjoy and relax in Ninh Binh, even if only for a short time. The entrances to the individual rooms were covered by trees and flowers in the well-maintained garden, providing a great sense of privacy. The lounge area right in front of my room was also a nice touch. The pool had a sloping bottom, allowing for a variety of depths. The pool was a good size, and there were three sizes of inflatable tubes, making it a great place to lie down and look at the night sky. Hang Mua is within a few minutes' walk, and a Grab ride to Tam Coc took about 10 minutes and cost around 90,000 VND. I cycled to Tam Coc in the morning, taking photos and finding my way back and forth. It took about 40-50 minutes. The food, especially the breakfast, was the best of all the accommodations I've stayed at in Vietnam. There are so many options that I often don't enjoy, but each dish was satisfying, and the fruit corner even had mangoes. The staff were friendly, and there was always an English-speaking staff member at the desk. If I ever return to Ninh Binh, I'd definitely stay here again.

We have 2 wonderful staff assists and helping us plan our sites visits and meals. Le Tan and Thai Huong went beyond their duties. We have an well rested couple of days, especially from Ha noi. I definitely recommend this hotel to friends and families and likely return to this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay with Trang An Ecolodge. Especially want to highlight how amazing the staff there are. The day we arrived in Ninh Binh my friend was very ill. Staff Mark took great trouble to arrange for transport to get her some medical attention after sourcing a reputable place to take her to. The breakfast was lovely as well and the staff a younger girl and the older lady were kind enough to provide second servings of fruit on request. They really did go the extra mile to accommodate our needs and wants. Highly recommend this place. Only things that made me rate the property a little less than perfect were the showers with loose fittings that did not run with enough pressure.

The room hygiene is poor, and it cannot be compared with the same level in China. Refer to some ordinary homestays in China. The environment is OK, but there are a lot of mosquitoes. The waiter responded promptly, but when checking out, the room fee was double-calculated. The room fee had been charged on Ctrip, but the store charged it again. Because we spent a lot of money in the store, the bill was very long and it was mixed in and I almost didn't notice it. Later, the store didn't take the initiative to raise it, and we admitted to overcharging after we found out. This is very bad.

Hotel was in a quiet place with great nature but not far from the attractions, hotel staff was super friendly. When we arrived they gave us details about all the attractions and their distances from hotel. Hotel has free bikes to ride or you can rent a motorbike. Breakfast was great with common dishes that was forgiving to the stomach. Rooms were spacious and clean and warm. Will be definitely staying there again. Thank you hotel staff.

I didn’t expect much about the place in terms of amenities and cleanliness but the kindness, friendliness and care I received from the staff were superb. I was there for pure nature, serenity and magnificent views, and boy I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a property perched in the middle of the iconic rocky mountains of Ninh Binh, surrounded by lush greenery and a small river that even had a little canoe next to my cabin. You can just stay at this property the whole day without doing anything special yet your mind and heart still end up fulfilled. Sit at their small cafe while having some coffee or a plate of authentic local Vietnamese food. Just stare at the rice fields or admire the beauty of the lotus on their pond. Have a bonfire at night while listening to their good-vibe music or ask the staff to play your own.

The lodge-style room was quiet even at night, and the facility had well-maintained plants and a beautiful view. There was also a hot spring pool, so I was able to relax. I think the view would be even more beautiful during the lotus flower blooming season. The breakfast buffet didn't have a wide variety of dishes, but it wasn't so bad that there wasn't anything to eat. The location is about a 20-minute walk from Tam Coc, so it's possible to walk if you want, but the roads are dark at night and you'll need to call a taxi. I was happy that the room was hygienic and that they provided welcome fruit.

Ongoing construction right next to the bungalows. The noise is unbearable-construction starts banging at 7 AM, followed by loud team-building speakers during the day, making it impossible to rest. Strongly advise anyone planning to stay here to double-check with the resort if the construction is completely finished before booking, to avoid wasting your money and ruining your trip.
