We had a wonderful stay at Havana Cabana in Key West! Parking was very easy and uncomplicated, which made everything super convenient. Our room was beautiful, with a lovely view of the ocean and the classic car in front of the hotel. The pool area was amazing very clean, with lots of fun floats, swim rings, and loungers to relax on. Just a small tip: be a bit careful with the bees around the pool area, but it wasn’t a big problem. At check-in, we were welcomed with a delicious cocktail and some small snacks. The shuttle service worked perfectly, and the driver was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you! Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

The room was fantastic! This was the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip to the US!!! No doubt about it!!! Conveniently located with plenty of food options, close to a supermarket, and even a Chinese-run noodle shop nearby! A gas station is right outside, which is great. Aside from the lack of an elevator for carrying luggage, everything else was fine. The room was spacious, the living room was large, and you could even cook.

I can honestly say I have never left a negative comment for a hotel but this was a real let down. For the amount of money that we paid to stay a this hotel, we were very disappointed. Our room was extremely small - our closet was a half size closet because of a refrigerator at the bottom - no even tall enough for my husbands shirts to fall without being wrinkled, let alone no room for dresses. No dresser or drawers in the room for clothes as well - just two small nightstands. The water pressure in the room shower was non existent - and the pool located at the Avalon House bleached both mine and my husbands bathing suits about 4 shades lighter - and not cheap suits either, good quality fabrics. Come to find out one of the other couples we vacationed with also had her suit bleached out and was offered a $150 credit for her suit - we were never offered any kind of credit, so I guess I didn't say something to the right person. Oh well - lesson learned, we will not be returning to this hotel.

La concha is a beautiful & historic hotel in the heart of beautiful Key West. The location is unbeatable & the balcony rooms, while smaller than other standard rooms, offers excellent people watching & beautiful blue sky views. A parking space is included, which is great to have right on Duval & Fleming Streets. The staff was mostly very friendly, but the service level varied. At one point in our stay, the front desk went out of their way to make us a key card to use the microwave located in the conference room. When I asked to use it the next day, another staff member says there wasn't one in the building. I went & took a photo through the window to show him. He then said he could not grant me access as the desk had previously done. No biggie but a little frustrating. Our main issue with the hotel was HIDDEN FEES. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged a fee of over $80 per room as a ”destination fee,” which was never explicitly disclosed & was certainly not fairly advertised. I asked about waiving this fee & the night desk said it was possible to check & see with day manager. The next day, they insisted the fee could not be waived & were unwilling to help with it further. I let them know I booked through a 3rd party prepaid, it said fees & taxes were included. They said read the fine print. They charged my card for the fees. Not being forthcoming and clear about the destination fee was the issue I had. And having parts of the hotel amenities, including outdoor areas, being closed off during the stay make this resort/destination fee more of a slap in the face. To highlight this point, the staff at this ”destination” hotel warned us that if we see some stuff a little run down or not in operation, its because the hotel just got bought & things wouldn't get straightened out until the new company takes over. Also minor issues for such a pricey hotel included missing slats on the inner balcony door & similar minor cosmetic issues. Other than that it is a beautiful building & top-notch location. Overall the experience was very enjoyable. P.S. The awesome bar tender makes delicious key lime martinis!

Been to Key West many times. (we live in Fort Lauderdale, so it's a nice getaway that is a short drive) Our preference is to stay at guest houses on the east end of the island, rather than staying in the busier east end. We rent bikes on arrival and keep the car parked. Parking is a problem with this property. They have what appeared to be 6 spots at $25/night, and 20 spots at a lot nearby at $20/night. None of which were available. Options were to park at meters at $5/HOUR, or to find rare non metered street parking. Since we frequent the area often,we knew where to street park w/o meters, just 2 blocks away. The room was clean and simple, no maid service, you had to go to the desk and ask for towels, soap etc. Comfortable bed and a fridge in the room. Only drawback was the constant drone of window unit A/C that barely kept the room cool. When I booked the room the confirmation email said that upon arrival we would be charged $74.97. What we were actually charged was $118.09. Even showing the confirmation email to the desk attendant made no matter. The included continental breakfast was sufficient, juices, coffee, waffle maker, bagels, fruit, cereals. The dining area was clean, well maintained and central A/C. Also included is a happy hour from 5-7 in the lobby with wine and individually wrapped snacks. Over all 4 stars, had parking been free and they honored the price we were expecting to pay on arrival, they'd get 5 stars. But hey, it's Key West, they march to a different drum.

The second time I went to the counter, the waiter could call out my last name. facility: The bed set was very clean and pleasant, the best bed I've slept in since travelling for a month. The bedside clock was so annoying that I had to unplug the battery and put it back on when I checked out. There is a front yard, but the room is very small, and there is no place to spread the 26-inch suitcase. Since it is the first floor of the bungalow, there are inevitably all kinds of insects in the room. Living in room #84 in the second district, next to the swimming pool is inevitably a bit lively at night. The occupants of room 85 next door are quite noisy watching TV all day. Soundproofing is not very good, although not entirely the hotel's problem. Food: Breakfast was better than average.

The main remark relates to lack of clarity from Trip and the hotel on added costs: valet parking is ”mandatory” as the hotel doesn't allow guests to self park. The hotel atmosphere and facilities were overall very pleasing. The hotel shuttle bus to Key West downtown runs every hour, and there were various additional facilities such as kayaking, paddling, bicycle activities, and yoga classes, which was nice. The activity staff were all friendly, so the kids had a great time doing the activities. The swimming pool and children's playground were also great. The atmosphere of the restaurant and bar in the hotel and the price were good. The staff were also very friendly. However, the check-in was very late because it was the peak season of Christmas. However, I was very upset by the attitude of the front desk staff. I tried to understand that the check-in was late (I had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes based on the check-in time...), but they assigned me a completely different room instead of the one I had reserved. When I called to say that the room was assigned incorrectly, they just told me to come back to the front desk and change the room key card. Without even a word of apology. Because the check-in was late, I rested a little in the room, and my schedule for sightseeing was all messed up.. There was no place to rest while waiting, so I went sightseeing and checked in once, and since they let me check in late, I visited the front desk twice to get the room key.. I went to the front desk a third time to exchange the room key because the room was assigned incorrectly.. I was so tired, both physically and mentally.. I just thought that this was the kind of service they had, but they were busy, so what could they do? When I told them that I was upset with their service, they finally apologized. Except for the front desk staff, the other staff members were so kind that I just let it go, but I think the staff members at the front desk are the face of the hotel. It's definitely a good hotel, but the front desk staff's service was the worst of all the places I've been to. I think this definitely needs to be improved.

Location: Very good, walking distance to everything in Key West. Service: Thanks for providing early check-in in hot weather. The second time I went to the counter, the waiter could call out my last name. facility: The bed set was very clean and pleasant, the best bed I've slept in since travelling for a month. The bedside clock was so annoying that I had to unplug the battery and put it back on when I checked out. There is a front yard, but the room is very small, and there is no place to spread the 26-inch suitcase. Since it is the first floor of the bungalow, there are inevitably all kinds of insects in the room. Living in room #84 in the second district, next to the swimming pool is inevitably a bit lively at night. The occupants of room 85 next door are quite noisy watching TV all day. Soundproofing is not very good, although not entirely the hotel's problem. Food: Breakfast was better than average.

Traveling during the Christmas New Year, the price is a bit expensive, but the room is still very comfortable, the sofa bed is open to a double bed, suitable for families of 3-4 people. The environment is very good, there is a terrace. Parking spaces near the peak season are difficult to find. You must pay special attention to the parking spaces of local residents. There is a residence written on the ground.

Nice and spacious room included Nespresso pods. Central location, not too far from Duval st. Breakfast included was alright, included hard boiled eggs, cereal, waffle machine, bagels and toast with jam, PB, and cream cheese. Starbucks coffee machine and water machine available throughout the day. Air conditioning fan is a bit loud as the air handler is in the room. No one in the lobby to handle noise complaints at night, especially drunks using the pool after returning from a night out being obnoxious. Charging a resort fee of $34.99, then charging $30 for parking is just an absolute money grab. Should've went with the other options that included the parking, but didn't include breakfast as that breakfast was not worth $34.99...

This hotel is a kind of more lively hotel, just at the cruise terminal. In the morning breakfast, there will be cruise ships of major cruise companies coming and parked, and will drive away in the afternoon! The hotel's people are all foreign friends and buddies come together for a holiday party, the pool is very lively, the pool view room will be noisy at night! Sea view room is ok! I feel that it is not so suitable for a family to bring children, if a few families bring children together! It's convenient to go anywhere, needless to say! But to say that it is convenient, there is not much in the center of Key West, which is very convenient! The hotel is good because of its location, so the price is not high! Nothing else to say, the service level is first class! Sea view room can see the setting sun!

Very welcoming hotel, complimentary welcome pack with cookie, bottled water, and reusable water bottle upon arrival. Friendly receptionist who speaks French. The pool area and bar/restaurant are very pleasant. Delicious meals and cocktails. Free shuttle to the city center every hour. Highly recommend this hotel 😉

The hotel for more than 6,000 nights is only part of the sea view, and the rest is the small beach of other houses, simple cars, and the scenery. The room is clean and tidy, and the bed is big and comfortable, but the noise of the air conditioner seriously affects sleep. The hotel’s seaside restaurant is good, while enjoying the food, watching the sunset.
