Guest UserWe loved this hotel so much! Highly recommend it to everyone! We stayed in three different rooms: three nights in the 112-sqm room on the 2nd floor, three nights in room 210 (53 sqm, 2nd floor), and five nights in room 211 (53 sqm, 2nd floor). We really loved the hospitality and tranquility of this hotel. The girls at the front desk are very sweet and always ready to help. The rooms have everything you need for living! We cooked our own meals because we prefer boiled food, and we used the multicooker provided. The location is convenient, and the private beach always has empty sunbeds and very few people—it's just the ticket for a couple! The pool is also always quiet and uncrowded. We stayed during a period when the price was very low—practically a steal! We are extremely satisfied and definitely recommend it!!!

They even grant us early checkin, we recommend and live Henann, Lagoon, Park and Regency Spa every one of them is perfect for couples with PWD and senior needs

The only thing I didn’t like was the beach seating setup. The chairs didn’t seem to match the overall quality and ambiance of the resort. They were just simple plastic chairs without tables or umbrellas, which made the beach area feel less appealing compared to the rest of the property.

Frozzen DaiquiríWe chose this hotel for its location – it’s right across the road from the seaport and only 7 minutes from the airport. Perfect for a layover or an early flight, that’s a huge plus.
The hotel itself is new (or recently renovated), you can tell by the paintwork and furniture. The bedding is good, the room isn't tiny, and the shower is relatively spacious. The air conditioning blows powerfully. Nearby, in the building next door, there's a Watsons (cosmetics, all sorts of useful bits and bobs) and a 7/11 across the street – handy if you've forgotten something and need it urgently.
On the downside, there's the food. There are absolutely no cafes nearby. It's either a local greasy spoon with trans fats (like a local KFC) or hot dogs from 7/11. You couldn't stay here for a week, but for an overnight stay – it's fine.
There's no kettle in the room. You'd think it's no big deal since there's a water cooler on the floor. BUT! The hot water in the cooler on our floor wasn't working, so we had to go down the stairs to the next floor for boiling water. A minor inconvenience, but annoying.
The next downside is the water in the shower. In the evening, there's simply none. Neither cold nor hot – just a drip, as if someone decided to save money. Want to wash up after your journey? Wait until 5 AM. That's when the water pressure wakes up with the roosters. (No kidding, that's what we did!)
And then there's the elevator – that's a whole other story. Folks, it's a nightmare. The elevator constantly gets stuck and breaks down. We had to lug our huge suitcases up and down the stairs from the fourth floor – that was annoying enough. But in the morning, when we needed to leave urgently for the airport, we got stuck in the elevator with our suitcases. Just like a bad movie! I have a panic fear of getting stuck, and here we were, pressed for time, and thoughts of 'what if it's for a long time?' started creeping in. Anyway, thanks for fixing it, but it left a significant bad taste.
Verdict: This hotel is a one-time stay – if you need to be close to the port and the airport. But only if you're lucky with the water and the elevator doesn't decide to give you an extreme experience. Management, the elevator is no laughing matter, it's a safety issue, please take action!!

Lana BochaverWe’re a travelling family of four. Our kids are 5 and 10 respectively and we all loved Boracay island and enjoyed the stay at Fairways hotel. I chose this place because I wanted safe and secure environment with several pools and a private beach.
During our stay we spent time at four different pools and the beach exceeded my every expectation. It was absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed snorkelling right at the beach and exploring marine life at the rocks and a small cave near it.
We are truly grateful to the hotel for a free upgrade we received. We enjoyed a two-bedroom family suite with two balconies and two bathrooms. It was really comfortable and everyone in the family had enough space. It’s not just good value for money but it’s way beyond what we expected to get at this price.
That being said, I would like to mention several peculiar features which we didn’t enjoy that much.
1. As many travellers, we didn’t like the hotel breakfast at all. The choice and variety of food is poor and the taste is mediocre. Basically we skipped breakfast and went to the White Barn cafe pretty much every day. Thank you, White Barn, your food was really tasty and the service invariably excellent.
2. If you want to go anywhere (including the private beach or some of the pools) outside the main building you have to take a shuttle bus which is fine in general but the road is bumpy and my kids complained a lot about the uncomfortable travel. The distances are short but due to the heat we really didn’t want to walk.
3. The hotel has a strict one keycard per room policy. Personally, I find it irritating because it means more coordination between family members. If someone fell asleep in the room, you have to wake them up or call the staff to open the room.
4. The cleaning policy is a bit odd. They don’t clean the room unless you ask for it. And you have to wait basically the whole day. Every time we had our room cleaned it was quite late in the evening. Once or twice we didn’t get enough towels.
Despite several downsides I believe that Fairways was a perfect choice for our family vacation: great value for money, safe and varied environment, good kids-friendly food available, excellent beach and pools. Thank you Fairways Team!
