I had a layover in Tokyo and chose this hotel because it's very close to Narita Airport. I stayed here last year and had a good experience, so I came back again this year. This time, I opted for a room in the main building. I think the room must have been recently renovated as the facilities were brand new, but there was a faint smell of new paint, and the window couldn't be opened, which somewhat affected my sleep. The hotel service overall was excellent, and the breakfast was decent, though I'd say it's just average for a Nikko hotel. The Japanese restaurant on the top floor was quite good, and Nikko hotel members get a 10% discount. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to the JR station and Narita Mall. If you have some time, you can explore the attractions around Narita; it's quite nice.

We stayed at the hotel because we had an early morning flight back home the next day. The shuttle bus service provided by the hotel is so convenient for us to reach the airport on time. A 24hrs My Family Mart is great too so that we did not need to travel out for those late night or early morning snack. We even managed to wash our clothes using the coin operated washing machine and dryer before heading home. Will recommend the hotel for anyone who needs airport shuttle service or early flight.

A bit dated, but the bedding was decent. The shuttle driver was really nice, helping with luggage on and off. It's quite good value for money in Japan, and the morning airport shuttle service was a great convenience. It saved me the hassle of waiting for a taxi, as a cab from the airport to the station would have cost around 160 RMB, which is quite pricey.

This is a great hotel! While you can tell it's a bit older, the building and facilities are incredibly well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The interior has a charming, traditional Japanese style. It's a small place but has everything you need. The front desk staff, both younger and older, were incredibly polite, friendly, and professional. They were very thoughtful about storing and moving my luggage. The room was meticulously cleaned, and it was quiet and comfortable to stay in at night. The location is also excellent; it's a five-minute walk to JR Narita Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Narita Omotesando and Shinsho-ji Temple are just a ten-minute walk away. I highly recommend staying here if you're passing through Narita on your way to Tokyo.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, and it’s about a 1 km walk to the walking street. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of food options. Check-in was smooth and fast, and the staff spoke good English. Amenities were well-prepared and easy to access, with a complete selection available for guests to pick up themselves. There is also a self-service drink station in the lobby with coffee and very matcha. A shuttle bus to Narita Airport is available every 30 minutes in the morning, but it must be reserved in advance during check-in. Additionally, there is a drinking water dispenser conveniently located near the elevators, which was very practical. Room size is bigger than Tokyo and acceptable. Overall is satisfied. About bed, It is a bit hard and pillow is not comfortable for me. It would be better if there is an offering on pillow selection choice.

Narita Airport Immigration clearance took quite a long time ( mine was a full flight) and queue was long. Maybe because Narita still haven't implemented Automated Lane, Face verification, etc... which other well known airports have implemented. So it was a big stress to try to catch the hotel shuttle at 8.50 pm at Bus stop 16 outside. Our room has a view of the Temple at Omotesando Street where we could walk 10 min to reach for shopping, food,... Hotel Breakfast is good with great variety and worth to purchase.

Cleanliness is impeccable. Great for a night/layover Twice i used this hotel if I'm doing any domestic flights in between Japan. As it's has free airport shuttle for hotel guests. It does have scheduled timing to AEON shopping mall of your flight arrives in the morning it's good to catch the bus. Else just make do with the convenience store at the hotel lobby. (Got my sandwich/sushi/drinks from the store, closes at 2am of not mistaken) Huge hotel, large capacity but a very well maintained one through years. Amazing, if you ever fly into Narita airport i highly recommend to try & immerse yourself into this old classic building. Worth the value for a night or two for a gd comfy rest. ** I bought the japan 🍈 from Kamata Tokyo and had carried it all the way via train into Narita..I wish to eat it before i leave for my flight following afternoon.. had asked reception staff to borrow a table knife so i could cut the melon unfortunately for safety reason they doesn't permit of such, hence i cut it into half with a wooden chopsticks and scoop the flesh off 🥄** Ooshiiii 😋 Happy a precious, pretty looking melon didn't go to waste :D

The new wing's facilities are quite good, but a common issue in both the new and old sections is that the shower water temperature control isn't very responsive; it's either too cold or too hot, which is quite annoying. I'd like to specially commend a Chinese male staff member with glasses at the front desk. He was very dedicated and thoughtful. I came down to ask about facial tissues because I couldn't find any in my room. He not only told me where to find the spare tissues but also, just in case, went to the storage room to get a whole box for me. I really appreciate his help, as otherwise, if there were none in the room, I would have had to make another trip! The shuttle bus service is very convenient. I'm sharing this for those who need it. One morning, there were only two minutes left before departure, and I was still in the elevator, feeling anxious. When I stepped out, I saw five or six smiling drivers and porters waiting there, with the luggage compartment doors open. It was a very reassuring sight 😌

The airport shuttle driver and the luggage handlers were all excellent! The room was spacious, and the complimentary breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate for us since we were catching a flight. The staff who spoke Japanese and English were very helpful; I've used English and basic Japanese on my previous stays. The only negative experience I had was on May 27, 2026, around 6:30 PM, when a male staff member at the front desk who spoke Chinese, and was standing in the middle while I was using the self-check-in, had a very poor attitude. Access from Narita Airport appears to be limited to Uber, so it may be a little inconvenient for those without a car. It's located away from the main road, so it's quiet. I was able to rest well. The gentle front desk staff were soothing. I booked a twin room, but it turned out to be a triple room, which was very spacious. I didn't use the large public bath or eat at the breakfast area, so I can't comment on that. There is a coin laundry, which has a selection of Japanese manga. There is some food for sale in front of the front desk, but it may not be enough, so I recommend buying some at the airport or a convenience store beforehand.

It's easy to use for early morning flights and late-night arrivals, and even with suitcases, you can comfortably travel to the station using elevators and escalators. Keisei Narita Station and JR Narita Station are also nearby, offering excellent airport access. The rooms feature Japanese-style mattresses and futons, making them affordable for families and groups. Each room has a separate bathroom and toilet for a comfortable stay. A fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, cooking utensils, and tableware are available, making it convenient for simple cooking and long-term stays. Each room has its own washing machine, and there are also free gas clothes dryers in the building. This makes laundry during travel and long-term stays comfortable. There are many 24-hour restaurants nearby, including convenience stores, Matsuya, and Sukesan Udon, providing peace of mind for late-night arrivals and early-morning departures. Naritasan Shinshoji Temple is also within walking distance, allowing you to enjoy a stroll and experience Japanese culture.
