This is a place that needs to go through mountains and rivers to get here. You may arrive here by boat or drive a long distance, but after staying for one night, you will be reluctant to leave. It is too Chill. The whole resort is very textured. The food There are also many choices of spots, there are not too many recreational facilities that destroy the sense of environmental coordination, the layout of the water house, the deck chairs on the platform in front of the house... this is probably the best on the River KwaiFrom$97

Four of us stayed at the River Kwai Resotel resort over the Christmas holiday. Our rooms were bungalow-style with a shared porch. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The shower was very large and the amenities were adequate. They replenished the coffee/tea daily in addition to the waters. Even though other bungalows are very near, they do a great job of landscaping to block the views between them. Breakfast was ample. The restaurant is quite good, especially with its Thai offerings. They have 2 nice swimming pools. The one near reception is a smaller size while the one to the west of the main area is quite large. We enjoyed many swims. There are bikes available for use on grounds. They have some lounge chairs below at their dock. You can arrive by boat or car. The drive in is quite long and through a very rural area. It's quite amazing when you reach the end of the road and see this entire resort unfold. We spent some time and a little money at the neighboring Mon village. Walking up to the caves at the small, national park was also fun. Lots of up & down walking at the resort, too, as it's built into a steep, river valley hillside. Other than the bats at the cave, we didn't see much wildlife. There are a nice assortment of birds attracted to this resort area, however, and the morning serenade is lovely. They do have a small snack hut but the prices reflect that you are quite some distance from any competition. We all enjoyed our stay and do plan to return another time.From$33

Hotel environment itself is awesome with relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, 4 big-bike guests next door were annoying, making loud noise and drinking until next morning. Because of poor soundproofing, I needed to put my earplugs in all night otherwise I was unable to sleep at all. I wish I could just chill and take some fresh air on nice little balcony but they keep playing dance music and smoking in early morning. I ended up with checking out as soon as finishing my breakfast. My recommendation is to avoid wooden standard raft, go for deluxe one. It seems much nicer. stayed on 27 June 2020From$46

The walkway down to silk is a staircase, but not clear enough to walk, not dangerous. But there is no barrier between the silk, it is necessary to be careful. To be honest, we arrived with very mixed feelings as we have noted a number of negative reviews. However, we were totally positively surprised as we liked it very much. The Onsen River view villa was very nice with a stunning view on the river and the ”hot tub” for relaxation in the afternoon enjoying the view on the river and jungle. Also the Restaurant was very nice and much to our surprise with very acceptable and normal prices and not as it was stated in some reviews overprized, not at all. Boutique Raft Resort is better than the pictures. It really is a beautifully presented property right in sync with nature. I stayed in a River Kwai Suite which was spacious and nicely decorated with huge windows facing the water. I agree the bathrooms could do with a freshen up, as other reviews have suggested. The fridge was well stocked and priced, however there was no tea or coffee making facilities which was disappointing and I was charged 100 baht for a L coffee. That said the staff were exceptional, each and every one of them, even with their very limited English. The General manager who owns and runs the resort was super helpful, spoke excellent English and was very hands on. The food was well priced, presented and tasty, although a little basic. I was led to believe it would be easier to book my tours from the hotel on arrival. Unfortunately this really was an expensive option as a solo traveller, as everything was a ‘private’ tour with the resort van. The bike tour was also unavailable. The other thing to be aware of is there are dogs outside the property and they were not friendly. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day :/ I decided to go for a walk and they surrounded me barking aggressively. I love dogs but this meant a quick exit. Unfortunately I felt confined to the property from then on, which wasn’t necessary a bad thing but I would have liked to go exploring. I highly recommend this property you won’t be disappointed and I would love to come back.From$38

This is a place that needs to go through mountains and rivers to get here. You may arrive here by boat or drive a long distance, but after staying for one night, you will be reluctant to leave. It is too Chill. The whole resort is very textured. The food There are also many choices of spots, there are not too many recreational facilities that destroy the sense of environmental coordination, the layout of the water house, the deck chairs on the platform in front of the house... this is probably the best on the River KwaiFrom$97

Four of us stayed at the River Kwai Resotel resort over the Christmas holiday. Our rooms were bungalow-style with a shared porch. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The shower was very large and the amenities were adequate. They replenished the coffee/tea daily in addition to the waters. Even though other bungalows are very near, they do a great job of landscaping to block the views between them. Breakfast was ample. The restaurant is quite good, especially with its Thai offerings. They have 2 nice swimming pools. The one near reception is a smaller size while the one to the west of the main area is quite large. We enjoyed many swims. There are bikes available for use on grounds. They have some lounge chairs below at their dock. You can arrive by boat or car. The drive in is quite long and through a very rural area. It's quite amazing when you reach the end of the road and see this entire resort unfold. We spent some time and a little money at the neighboring Mon village. Walking up to the caves at the small, national park was also fun. Lots of up & down walking at the resort, too, as it's built into a steep, river valley hillside. Other than the bats at the cave, we didn't see much wildlife. There are a nice assortment of birds attracted to this resort area, however, and the morning serenade is lovely. They do have a small snack hut but the prices reflect that you are quite some distance from any competition. We all enjoyed our stay and do plan to return another time.From$33

Hotel environment itself is awesome with relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, 4 big-bike guests next door were annoying, making loud noise and drinking until next morning. Because of poor soundproofing, I needed to put my earplugs in all night otherwise I was unable to sleep at all. I wish I could just chill and take some fresh air on nice little balcony but they keep playing dance music and smoking in early morning. I ended up with checking out as soon as finishing my breakfast. My recommendation is to avoid wooden standard raft, go for deluxe one. It seems much nicer. stayed on 27 June 2020From$46

Overall accommodation is spacious, good atmosphere, clean, with a lot of parking, with staff to help lift things well. The walkway down to silk is a staircase, but not clear enough to walk, not dangerous. But there is no barrier between the silk, it is necessary to be careful. The sale package includes breakfast and dinner, which are served in a cool set meal. It tastes good. Good value because you don't have to go out to find food to eat. The breakfast garden is provided with both boiled rice and eggs, and coffee and bread can be grilled by yourself. It is worn and has many damaged equipment, I want to improve urgently. Cleanliness in the bathroom feels less because there are stains and like making the room unclean. As for the balcony of the raft, the outer terrace of the raft has many parts that are worn out and like the bamboo, it is very old and I think that the bamboo should be renovated in front of the raft room as well. What I want to improve is the bathroom and the cleanliness of the mirror in the raft. For the overall scenery, the upper floor is the garden view room, it looks more beautiful and inviting than the raft room. The lawn is beautiful and looks clean. But the cleanliness of the raft room Need to improve to be better For recommended points for worthwhile The payment is considered good because there is breakfast and dinner included, so you don't have to pay extra. But for the room score and cleanliness need to be improved a lot, not recommended to sleep in a raft room. Boutique Raft Resort is better than the pictures. It really is a beautifully presented property right in sync with nature. I stayed in a River Kwai Suite which was spacious and nicely decorated with huge windows facing the water. I agree the bathrooms could do with a freshen up, as other reviews have suggested. The fridge was well stocked and priced, however there was no tea or coffee making facilities which was disappointing and I was charged 100 baht for a L coffee. That said the staff were exceptional, each and every one of them, even with their very limited English. The General manager who owns and runs the resort was super helpful, spoke excellent English and was very hands on. The food was well priced, presented and tasty, although a little basic. I was led to believe it would be easier to book my tours from the hotel on arrival. Unfortunately this really was an expensive option as a solo traveller, as everything was a ‘private’ tour with the resort van. The bike tour was also unavailable. The other thing to be aware of is there are dogs outside the property and they were not friendly. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day :/ I decided to go for a walk and they surrounded me barking aggressively. I love dogs but this meant a quick exit. Unfortunately I felt confined to the property from then on, which wasn’t necessary a bad thing but I would have liked to go exploring. I highly recommend this property you won’t be disappointed and I would love to come back.From$38

The resort is a large resort with a variety of rooms to choose from, including mountain views, river views, and river views, both classic and modern rooms. Dogs can stay for an additional fee. Dogs can be taken to all parts of the resort. but must be on a leash and in the care of the owner The room we stayed in this time was the newest room in the riverside zone. Very nice room, clean, attentive staff and very good service. Dinner served a la carte, good taste, affordable price. A set breakfast is served as a set breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant overlooking the river. In the privacy of the room, clean and neat, exactly as the cover. During the rainy season, plan a trip and bring insect repellent spray. It is another accommodation that is worthwhile whether it is a small family, a large family or a group company.
